Trixie pulled her stuff with all of her efforts as she made her way across the sandy landscape. She would usually pull her stuff with her iconic wagon that most ponies see her with, but this case was different. It started with Trixie wanting to go to Saddle Arabia to show off her magic there. She lets Starlight come along as she is Trixie's best magical assistant. Things were fine at first, until it went downhill. After Trixie and Starlight got into an argument, Starlight intentionally sold Trixie's wagon for a big caravan. Trixie thought that it was bad enough that her so-called "best friend" sold Trixie's wagon without permission, but Trixie now has to pull all of her stuff with nothing but herself and catch up to Hoo'Far to get her wagon back. The heat from the sun didn't make things better for Trixie as her sweat poured down from her face. Trixie got anxious about how far Hoo'Far was from her. She doesn't even know what to do if she ends up spending the night in the cold winds. After what Trixie believed felt like several hours, she decided to take a break from her pulling and collapsed on to the ground. She took about a few long breaths before her heart rate calmed down from all of the pulling. Unfortunately, her exhaustion wore off and tears started to overflow Trixie's eyes before she cried very loudly from all of her built up stress. Trixie's crying was from not only her frustration of reaching to Hoo'Far, but also from the loss of her wagon. She almost felt like she lost a part of herself when she lost the wagon. Trixie let out a few more emotional cries before she got it out of her system. She slowly got back up and resumed pulling her stuff.
"Well well well," A stallion's voice said from a close distant. Trixie looked up to see that a group of mean-looking stallions surrounded her at a not-so-far distant. Trixie's heart raced as she knew that she was in a dangerous situation.
"Looks like we got ourselves a struggling mare." one of the stallions said with a toothy grin. "Shall we 'assist' her?" Most of the stallions nodded in agreement. Trixie quickly kept her composure and began speaking.
"The Great and Powerful Trixie requires no assistant from all of you." Trixie said nobly. "Trixie is just traveling to Saddle Arabia. Now if you excuse me-" Trixie was interrupted when two stallions moved closer to her path to prevent her from moving forward.
"I'm afraid that we can't let you." Another stallion said as the group got closer to Trixie. "It's just that the stuff you're pulling peak our interests, and we don't pay to get things we want." Trixie immediately let go of the rope that was tied with her stuff and quickly ran for her life. She was stopped when two huge stallions grabbed her by the her fore hooves and lifted her back to the rest of their group.
"P-Please! You can take the stuff! Just spare me!" Trixie begged with tears in her eyes. The group of stallions approached Trixie very slowly.
"Oh, we appreciate the donations." The leader stallion said as he pulled out a knife to Trixie's neck. "But now you peak our interests." Out of instinct, Trixie used her horn to teleport out of the stallions' hold and at a far distant from the group. She ran as fast as she could from the gang until a jolt suddenly hit her. Next thing Trixie knew, she limped to the ground and wasn't able to move any part of her body. She struggled to get up until the group finally caught up and surrounded her.
"Luckily for us, one of us knows a paralysis spell for cases like these." The leader stallion said as a unicorn appeared and lit up his horn with yellow sparks. "Now, where were we?" Trixie's scream echoed across the land as she suffered the wrath of the bandits.
Starlight was doing her best to pull the large caravan while trying to reach to Hoo'Far and hopefully Trixie. After struggling with the large caravan and meeting those two mail ponies again, Starlight realized that she made a terrible mistake of selling Trixie's wagon. She had to make things right with Trixie and trade back the wagon. A part of Starlight really didn't want to, but it was for the sake of her friendship with Trixie. Starlight made her way across the sandy landscape until she noticed a long dirt mark that she assumed was from Trixie pulling her supplies. Starlight felt lucky that Trixie left her a trail to follow. Starlight kept following the trail until she noticed something very strange. A group of stallions were on the middle of the road and they were opening boxes and crates that were full of magician stuff. What made matters worse, Starlight saw that some of the stallions were covered with blood. Starlight's blood ran cold from putting together what could've happened to Trixie. At an instant, Starlight teleport from the large caravan and in the middle of the gang, catching their attention.
"Who are you?" One of the stallions asked before he and the other members saw the fiery rage in Starlight's eyes. The stallions' screamed in fear and agony from suffering the wrath of Starlight.
Trixie laid on the ground while she held her chest which was stabbed multiple times by the knives of the stallions. Pain was coursing through Trixie as she struggled to move. Her movements got weaker due to the loss of blood. Her thoughts were interrupted when she suddenly heard the sound of stallions screaming and explosions. Trixie got nervous as she thought that it might be a large monster that was attacking the gang of stallions and she might be next.
"Trixie!" Starlight's voice called out. Trixie turned to see her former friend panting and running towards her. Trixie was also shocked to see Starlight all covered in blood as if she was in a horror movie.
"S-Starlight?" Trixie whispered before she collapsed from exhaustion.
"Oh Sweet Celestia!" Starlight said in shocked as she saw how bad those stallions stabbed Trixie. "Don't worry! I'll get help!" Trixie gently placed a hoof on Starlight's cheek.
"No, it will be too late." Trixie said. "I've been like this for quite some time and I feel like nothing else can't be done." Tears flowed out of Starlight's eyes.
"No no no!" Starlight cried in desperation. "I can figure something out!"
"I feel like I'm about to leave at any moment." Trixie said with a faint smile. "Might as well make the most of it." Starlight collapsed to the ground and wept with regret.
"I'm so sorry!" Starlight cried. "I shouldn't have traded your wagon for the other one! I just thought it would ease our trip to Saddle Arabia! I had no idea your wagon meant a lot to you!"
"It's alright, Starlight." Trixie said. "At least you apologized for your actions. That is all Trixie needed to hear before she goes." Starlight struggled on what to do abut Trixie's situation. It felt like Starlight could do almost anything to help Trixie recover, but she didn't know if Trixie will make it in time. The only thing Starlight could do was to cry and watch her friend die in her hooves.
"You were the greatest friend Trixie has ever asked for." Trixie said as her breathing slowed down.
"No! Don't say that!" Starlight yelled while she placed her hooves on her head. "I'll...I'll think of something!"
"You were the only pony who related with me the most. I'll never forget all of the good times we had together." Trixie then leaned closer to Starlight's ear. "Goodbye, my best friend." Trixie collapses once again and her whole body stopped moving.
"NOOOOO!!!!" Starlight screamed as she just lost one of her most precious friends.
