Trill re-entered the studio where Shrill was talking with one of the photographers. "Sister," she said with an urgent tone.

The purple mare eyed her before holding up a finger to the photographer. She then walked over to meet with her sibling. "What's wrong?"

"The cops," Trill answered. "They mentioned we may have competition."

"With clothes?" Shrill asked. "Or, the other thing?"

"The other thing. They found a body tied to a chair and eaten."

"Wow," Shrill muttered as she rubbed her chin in thought. "That's brutal. Do they have any leads?"

Trill shrugged. "Didn't ask. But it seemed like they knew nothing. They even asked me if we knew anything."

The purple mare chuckled. "Still trying to nail us, huh?"

"What do we do about this?"

Shrill thought for a moment before she smiled deviously. "We recruit that Coco. Then, we find out what we can about this new player... and tell the cops what we find."

"Tell the cops?" Trill asked. "Why?"

"Dear sister," Shrill cooed. "If we help them, we could be seen as heroes. Then, they might finally back off of us."

"I don't know," the orange unicorn muttered. "It's risky."

"As long as we play our cards right, we'll be fine."

Soarin dropped down on the couch with a sigh as he thought back to earlier with Eris. Vapor closed the door and eyed him as she pulled her jacket off.

“You okay?” She asked as she made her way over.

Soarin looked over at her and shrugged. “I saw Eris today.”

“Our cute, chaotic little friend?” Vapor cooed with a smile as she undid her belt and unbuttoned her pants. She then sat down and began to work her pants off. “What happened?”

“She confessed to… liking me,” Soarin explained. “Like… like-like.”

“She has a crush on you?” Vapor asked, now only in her underwear. “Wow.” The mare then let out one of her cute giggles. “A goddess of chaos loves my boyfriend. I’m honored.”

Soarin let a chuckle escape through his nose as he put an arm around her. “It’s just, she and I have known each other since she arrived in this city. It’s been an interesting relationship and she certainly isn’t afraid to ask for sex. But I didn’t think she saw me as… boyfriend material.”

Vapor just smiled and reached over to undo his belt. “I know what could help you wind down.”

“Oh?” Soarin asked, before he pulled his pants off. “What’s that?”

“Remember how I said I wanted to try some stuff before we… do it?”

“Yeah?”

“Well…” Vapor began with a huge blush as she gripped the stallion’s boxers. “I kinda wanna… experiment with your…”

“Dick?”

“Balls,” Vapor corrected, before she pulled the boxers down to expose the cock. “Wow,” she muttered as she gently gripped the rod with her left hand and lifted it up to expose the balls.

She then got to her knees between Soarin’s legs for a closer look. After a few sniffs she leaned in and pressed her nose to the sack for a deep inhale.

“You like the smell?” The stallion asked.

Vapor opened her eyes and looked up at him. “I like it because it’s you,” she answered softly before she started to suck on the left nut, making Soarin moan softly.

The Next Day...
Prim

Coco pulled into her parking space at work and turned off the engine. She then leaned back and thought about Meadow. Groaning softly, she rubbed her forehead with both palms in frustration before she got out. After she closed her door and stepped onto the sidewalk, she was approached by a white mare.

“Excuse me?” The mare asked. “Are you the one from the news? The one that was involved with that fuckin’ Dusk, or whatever?”

“Um…” Coco muttered as she looked at the mare. “Yeah? Who are you?”

“Cherry Bomb,” the white mare smiled. “Must’ve been pretty fuckin’ terrifying, am I right?”

“She treated me well,” Coco replied, feeling something was off about this mare. “Wish I could say the same about Fray.”

“Did she now? I wouldn’t have pegged her as the caring type. Seems like the kind to use others and throw them aside when she's done with 'em.”

“I-It wasn't like that," Coco stammered. “They were good to me. Treated me well.”

Cherry smiled. “Apologies. You obviously care about her. I hope things work out for ya.” Coco just gave her a forced smile before she slowly turned and headed off to work. “Oh, do stay away from that parking structure nearby at night. I hear Dusk’s gang likes to hang out there, Cherry cooed. Coco eyed her before heading into the building. When the white-ish mare was gone, Cherry smirked. “They, huh?”

Coco sat at the front desk with her head in her hands. As she groaned, her boss walked up to her.

"Coco," Suri said as she placed a folder on the desk. "Look through these and pick out which ones look the best."

"Yes, ma'am," Coco said as she slid the folder closer.

Suri eyed her with a look of very slight worry before she walked away. As Coco opened the folder the front doors opened. Coco looked up and went wide-eyed. When Shrill and Trill saw her, they waved. Coco slowly waved back, unsure what they wanted. The two sisters looked around at the clothes as they approached the front desk.

"Not bad," Shrill commented. "You design these?"

"S-Some of them," Coco muttered nervously.

The two Daemon sisters stepped up to the desk as Shrill leaned in. "You didn't tell anyone about our involvement, did you?"

Coco quickly shook her head. "I-I actually completely forgot to... mention you."

"Good," the purple mare cooed. "With that out of the way, how would you like a better job?"

"A-A what?" Coco asked.

"A better job," Trill repeated. "You certainly have a knack for creating clothing that is both formal and functional... but we feel like you would do better in an environment where you can design anything you want. From dresses and suits to swimsuits and bondage gear."

"Plus, we can tell you have an eye for beauty," Shrill added. "We saw how you watched us have sex with Dusk. Plus, that cute cop you're seeing?"

Coco blushed hard. "M-Meadow and I aren't really... dating. She's just... really friendly."

"Good," Shrill chuckled. "You already saw us naked. Couldn't hurt seeing us naked again, would it?"

"So, how 'bout it?" Trill asked. "Want to help us design clothes and help with our catalogs? You'd be making twice as much what you're making here."

Coco eyed the desk, more specifically the folder on it. She let out a sigh before she closed it.

Manehattan Police Station

Shrill and Trill entered the police station as Assistant Chief Soarin and Captain Thunderlane looked over at them. There was an awkward silence before Soarin stepped forward.

"Can we help you two?" He asked.

Shrill smiled. "We'd like a word with Dusk."

Soarin's eyes narrowed. "Why?"

"She's been our rival for years," Trill explained. "As I'm sure you're aware. We just want to catch up with her."

Soarin thought for a moment before he sighed. "Per the law, I must inform you that while you're in the holding cells, you'll be recorded. Both audio and video. Anything you say and do will be used against you in a court of law should you be arrested. Are you fine with this?"

Shrill's smile didn't fade. "Perfectly."

"Alright," the stallion said as she led the way. "This way." The sisters followed him to the cells where Dusk was lying on the cot with her pants down, dick out, and masturbating. "Hey! We talked about this!"

"You gonna suck it for me?" Dusk asked as she looked over. She stopped her jerking when she saw Shrill and Trill. "Well... Hello."

"Hello," Shrill greeted as she and Trill left Soarin to stand by the cell.

Soarin hesitated before he left. Dusk resumed her cock massage as Shrill gripped the bars and mouthed, "We're being recorded." Dusk slowed her stroking before she sat up and turned to sit on the edge of the cot. Trill looked over at Midnight, who was asleep.

"You'll be interested to know that that mare you kidnapped," Shrill began. "is now our new employee."

Dusk did her best to avoid smiling. "Dear Coco? You better take good care of her. She's a sweetie. Great body, too."

"Your gang, the Nightcrawlers?" Trill said. "They haven't been seen since your failed attempt at a takeover."

The blue mare chuckled. "I'm sure they're out there. Speaking of which, any sighting of my darling Fray?"

"Nothing," Shrill replied. "Even if she was alive... you're in jail. And, unless she tries to break you out, you're screwed. And, if she fails, you're both screwed."

"What makes you think she'll fail?"

Trill smirked. "The new leadership here is far more intelligent and skilled than the previous. It won't be so easy to overthrow them this time."

Dusk smiled. "We'll see."

Soarin entered the room and cleared his throat. "Time's up. Let's go." Shrill and Trill eyed him before they waved bye to Dusk. As they past Soarin, the stallion tapped Shrill's arm, making her stop and look at him. "Did you say you hired Coco?"

"Yes," Shrill answered. "She starts tomorrow."

The stallion sighed deeply. "No one here fully trusts you two. If you do anything, and I mean anything... to Coco..."

Shrill patted the stallion's shoulder. "We wouldn't dream of harming that sweet little mare. Besides, we could actually use her help as we're due for our summer catalog and could use her input."

Soarin nodded and crossed his arms. "Just... watch it."

"Yes, sir," the purple mare said before she and her sister left the building.

When the Daemons left, Misty walked up to him. "What was that about?"

Soarin eyed her. "They wanted to speak with Dusk."

"Really? Did you get anything good?"

"Nothing to connect them to Dusk's plan," Soarin sighed. "Though, it sounds like Dusk is either planning an escape attempt or is counting on Fray showing up."

"I see..." Misty muttered. "We'll increase security on random days to throw them off and hopefully prevent an escape attempt."

The stallion nodded. "Yes, ma'am."

As Shrill drove her and her sister back to their company building, Trill's phone rang. Answering it, the orange mare eyed her sister. "Patch her through," she said, before she put her phone on speaker. "Hello?"

"Um, hi," Coco said, sounding nervous. "So, I, uh... spoke with my boss, and... she wasn't too happy about me wanting to leave."

"Don't worry about it," Shrill said with a smile. "Just come in tomorrow and let us deal with her, okay?"

"Deal with her?" Coco asked. "A-As in..."

"Speak with her," Trill answered. "That's all. That is, if you really want the position."

"O-Of course I do."

"Then, come in tomorrow," Trill said as she pushed her glasses up on her nose. "Don't worry about your boss."

The Next Day...
Daemon, Inc.

Coco entered Daemon, Inc. and approached the front desk where Vinegar sat. The dark yellow unicorn looked up with her usual bored look as she blew a bubble with her gum. Forcing a smile, Coco stepped up to the desk.

“Um, Shrill and Trill are expecting me.”

Vinegar pulled her gum back into her mouth and resumed chewing. Before she could do anything, both Shrill and Trill entered the lobby from the elevators.

“Coco, welcome,” Shrill said with a smile. “Glad you could make it. I see you’ve already met Vinegar.”

“Yes,” Coco smiled as she turned to face them. “Yes, I did. And she’s… great.”

Vinegar rolled her eyes and lifted up her magazine. Trill eyed the receptionist before she took Coco’s hand. “Come with us.” Shrill followed as her sister led Coco towards the elevators. “You’ll have to excuse Prim,” Trill continued as she pushed the button to go up. “We found her at an orphanage in Baltimare four years ago.”

“You adopted her?” Coco asked in disbelief.

Shrill chuckled and crossed her arms. “We helped get her on her feet, gave her a job, and told her when she turned 18 in a year that she could do whatever she wanted.”

“We took care of her for a year and now she’s on her own,” Trill finished as the elevator arrived.

“Wow,” Coco muttered as they all boarded the vertical transportation device. “How’d she take it?”

“Oh, she was a brat,” Shrill admitted. “It was clear why no one adopted her in 17 years. But, when she raised her attitude wasn’t going to work on us, she slowly settled down into who you see out there.”

“Did you see her as a daughter?”

Shrill and Trill eyed each other before the orange mare pressed the top floor button. “In a way. But, we never made that obvious since she would ahead scream something like you’re not my mom or stop treating me like a child.”

“She was more vulgar than that,” Shrill chuckled. “But… I did care for her. I still do.”

“We both do,” Trill corrected.

When the elevator stopped at the top floor, Shrill and Trill led their new employee down a hall. "This is our floor," Shrill explained. "It has two bedrooms, a large bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. You're welcome to stay here in the second bedroom, should you prefer."

"Really?" Coco asked, surprised.

"It used to be Vinegar's room," Trill stated. "Then, she moved out."

"I see..." Coco muttered to herself, thinking it over.

"In the meantime," Shrill cooed. "How about seeing the studio?"
