Bloodletter Blackburner and the Nightmare's Moon
"BLACKBURNER!!" The Old One shouter, slamming a fist on his throne. A few seconds, and he smiled as the Alicorn walked in. The man leaned back, satisfied. "On time, my friend!" He said happily. He was the only human left on this planet.
"Yes, my Fuhrer?" Blackburner said, bowing. The Alicorn was red & black, a trait shamed in his realm. But he's quite powerful, and a good choice for this particular mission.
"As you know, Bloodletter Blackburner, I am here to redeem myself, because rotting in hell is not my idea of a fun time! And so, I am being a leader. You see, there's a pretty big fucking problem over the Wastelands in Equestria." Blackburner stood, nodding at his statement. There was always a problem over there. "And so, I'm sending you there."
Blackburner bowed. "In all due respect sir, but could you tell me about this problem? I cannot solve a problem I was never taught about."
The man swore and snapped his fingers. "Thank you! Augh, curse you memory! Anyways, a Princess has return only a little pissy after a millenia's imprisonment in the moon, and found an artifact, or is just....finding it again, whatever. Although she would've murdered everybody in her way beforehand, she certainly wants to now, but is weak! And so, you're being sent to take care of her. Try not to kill her, but if you have no choice, do not hold back. The artifact is called the Nightmare's Moon. Destroy it, or bring it back. Doesn't really matter, just choose whatever's convenient. Now go. Sorry for the short notice, but you know me."
Blackburner left, raising a hoof in the kingdom's salute; out to his side, balled. "Goodbye, my fuhrer." And he is gone. He begins jogging to his room, closing the door behind him. Is is fairly furnished, not over the top or Spartan. He likes comfort and simplicity, not one or the other. He throws on his robes. The jacket is partially ethereal, sitting still in the air. It flows with his movement, something he likes. Underneath is a leather breastplate and steel shoes. His headwear is an old top hat, shortened a bit to be more suitable for combat. He puts it on, along with a necklace of ten red beads. He then looks at one of the walls, this one with a long curved sword with a long hilt (1 ft) on a proper stand. Using his magic, he gently lifts it off, and brings it close, smoothing a hoof over it. Its scratched flat and chipped blade make it look as old as it is, the runes still glowing their blood red in his magic. "I will finally be able to use you....." Attaching it to his side. He leaves his room, already setting out, with little more than what he has on him.
Meanwhile, Twilight was organizing the town's militia. There was no big threat to face, but they were quite disorganized, and she was ending that. Their General bowed curtly to her. "Miss Sparkle!" He trusted her as she was the Princess's student. She was smart, especially for her age. "General Artorias the 10th of the Everfree Watchers reporting for duty!"
Twilight smiled. Ah, yes. They were quite large, and were not limited to Ponyville. Their purpose was to keep watch on the Everfree Forest's many beasts and other creatures, and as such had many outposts along its edge. She was greatly honored that they trusted her. Apart from their obvious duty, they were quite disorganized, and needed her help. "Hello, Captain! So, my first step in restoring the Watchers is to revive the messengers! Keeping the outposts in constant communication will go a long way to restoring your guild!"
Artorias smiled. This was a great idea. "We have unicorns who can teleport small objects. Perhaps we just teleport the letters inside the Captain's offices?" Twilight nodded, and he left to give orders. She smiled again, and turned to see Spike attempting to flirt with a female Watcher. She was smiling warmly, clearly finding it adorable. Twilight trotted up to him.
"Spike?" She asked and he jumped a few centimeters, letting out a girlish squeak in surprise. The Watcher patted him on the head and left, leaving a note for him. He was blushing in shame.
"T-Twilight! You startled me!" He exclaimed, reading over the note. He went silent. "She wants to have a coffee at the cafe!!" He shouted, prancing in a circle on the spot, pumping his arms into the air. "Oh, sorry Twilight..." He said sheepishly, stopping immediately. "What do you want?"
Twilight rubbed his head with a hoof, the drake leaning into the touch slightly. "Oh, I just felt that we coul-" She began, but was interrupted by a pink blur crashing into her, the two ponies rolling a bit before stopping. Twilight blinked away the stars, eyes widening in surprise at the pink pony an inch from her face. "Uh....hello?" She said, smiling uncomfortably.
"HYA!!! I'MPINKIEPIE, BUTMYFRIENDSCALLMEPINKE!!! HOWAREYOUDOING, WHOAREYOU, ANDDOYOUWANNABEFRIENDS???!!!" She said in one breath. Twilight caught enough of that to get what to say, the pony on her looking like she was going to explode at any second.
"I'm Twilight Sparkle, student of Princess Celestia, Pinkie Pie, and sure, I'll be your friend. Just...get off me, please?" Pinkie gave her the most girly shriek of happiness she's ever heard and run away, gone in a flash. Twilight laid there, breathless for a few seconds, before standing slowly. As soon as she had gathered herself, she ran away, running into her treehouse home and slamming the door shut. She relaxed, and let Spike in. Spike went to take a nap.
She wandered around the library. There were a lot of books, not quite as many as she had in Canterlot, but she recognized none of them! Her horn lit up, and she began levitating the books scattered on the floor and other surfaces, placing them in the bookshelves. One particular book caught on a quite worn table, partially lifting a small panel. She opened it fully, putting the books down. In it was a tome. She lifted it up to read it, but was interrupted by a knock on the door. She placed the tome on top of a bookshelf and answered it.
"Greetings darling! I'm Rarity! A pony as prestigious as you deserves a dress from Ponyville's most chique and magnifique tailor!" She said. She had white fur, with a curled purple mane. Her cutie mark is three blue diamonds with a few twinkles. Twilight had no reason to refuse, and so she nodded.

Bloodletter Blackburner and the Nightmare's Moon
Blackburner was walking through the Wastelends. There was really nothing here, just endless desert that wasn't hot nor cold, with some broken structures here and there, ravaged by time and weather. This place had one hell of a history. It used to be a massive inland ocean, until-
He dashed to the side to avoid a bolt of lightning that crackled past him. Ahead was an Earth-Pony, looking like total shit, like a crack addict straight outta Manehattan. He suddenly dashed towards him, zooming a few meters nearly instantly (Like he could) but with lightning surrounding him. He was holding a foal, and it tried to scamper away, but was grabbed by another pony. Blackburner looked harder at the landscape. Huh, there were a lot of intact buildings, just with cloak spells. He drew his sword, clashing with a magical blade summoned by the pony. "Hello! Die please!" The pony said far to excitedly, Blackburner shaking his head before shoving his blade out of the way and shoulderchecking the pony, making them stumble. He surged forward, his blade colliding with the pony's neck and taking its head clean off, the pony dropping dead. Flicking the blood off the blade, he dashed to the foal, who was begging Blackburner to help him. Blackburner chopped of the pony's head with a single chop, pulling the foal away from the corpse.
"What was wrong with them?" He asks, looking around for any more. The foal clings to him, crying loudly. Well, he's not getting any answers until this colt calms down. He carries the foal in, closing the floor behind him. "Oooohhhh, shit." Blackburner whispers, looking at the inside of the Allcorn Facility. "So this is where this hellhole was the entire time." He took out a roll of parchment and tore off a section, writing a message on it quickly before teleporting it to his Fuhrer. The foal had stopped crying, and Blackburner pried the child off his leg. "Are you alright? What's your name?"
The foal nodded, and looked up at him. "Subject C100p3r!" He said. Blackburner gestured, and the foal climbed onto his back, holding him tightly.
"You're going to need a new name...if we stick to familiarity, the name will be Clopper. Not very flattering, but it will have to do. Now, let's go through this place. Perhaps we can find something useful." If Clopper was a subject, he'd be able to the Allmagics produced in this place.
He nodded, and looked around on his new perch for danger. As they went around, they ran to nobody, until entering a large room with a ceiling, Clopper say a unicorn flying at them. "Pegasus ahead!"
"I see it!" Blackburner drew his sword. He couldn't keep it too far from him, as with all melee weapons used by magic levitation. He suddenly pulled the hilt, it snapping to spear shaft length, two meters long, with a large 'SHHCHING!!' coming from the transformation. The unicorn, which had magical crystal wings, tried to swoop upwards to avoid the weapon, but he slashed overhead, dissecting the unicorn in half and sending it crashing into the ground, blood and guts splattering in the direction it was travelling. He retracted the hilt and sheathed the sword, continuing forward. "Thanks, Clopper." He'd eventually find something that was an actual threat in this place. Although he's powerful, he's unable to train further. It's called the Overconfidence Curse.
Twilight was looking at herself in her mirror. The dress looked good on her, elegant but simple. After a bit of studying this look, she took off the dress, folding it and putting in a drawer. She was ready to go to sleep for the night, and put on her sleeping hat. Slipping under the covers, she was about to fall asleep when somebody knocked on her door. Grumbling, she walked downstairs and opened it, only to be greeted by a hooded pony. "Uhhh....hello?" She asked, and the pony smiled warmly.
"Excuse me miss, I'd like to check out a book, is that alright? You can go back to bed, I'll be out soon." She said. Twilight let her in, and she began looking, her blue magic sifting through the unorganized books. Twilight, deciding she had no reason be suspicious, went to bed. As soon as she was out of sight, the pony raised a hoof to pull her hood off, revealing the face of a blue unicorn. She looked around, then spread her wings, which were invisible under the cloak, grabbing the ancient tome on top of the shelf. It was exactly what she was looking for. It read 'Equestria's Artifacts - By the Two Sister's Scholars'. She grimaced at the 'Two Sister's' part. "Hmph, more like one sister." She practically growled. Placing the book on the table, she flipped through it, and soon came to the passage she wanted. "The Nightmare's Moon. An artifact [A PENDANT] that has an engraving of a full moon on it, able to grant the power of the dream realm to the wearer. Currently located in the [CASTLE OF THE TWO SISTERS]." The pony grinned. This book was the only copy, enchanted so she could read artifact forms and locations, as Celelestia and other beings tended to change their forms and hide them.
"Woah, who are you?" Luna calmly turned to see a baby dragon staring at her. She should be polite, as angering him could cause minor problems that could easily be prevented. She smiled warmly at him.
"I am Luna, a pony of the night. Who are you?" She didn't know what to call him that'd be a compliment, so she stuck with not calling him anything.
"I'm Spike, a baby dragon!" He said proudly, a fist against his chest.
"I could tell, your diminutive size gave it away." She let slip out, cringing as he sighed. He waved it off. "Anyways, I found what I came for, I will leave now. Goodnight, Spike." She began leaving, the dragon waving bye. She closed the door as he finished saying 'Goodbye Luna!', and spreading her wings, flew off into the night, into the Everfree to find her old castle...
