Inspired by the time travel spell created by Star Swirl the Bearded, Twilight Sparkle has constructed a time machine that will let anypony travel to the future as well as the past for as long as they want. But when the machine malfunctions and the fabric of time and space is broken, Twilight and her friends must join together with a new ally, and befriend an old foe in order to save Equestria from being torn apart by the converging dimensions of space and time itself!
