"Where am I? What's going on?!"

"What's going on is you're late for school."

Flash's eyes widened. He found himself sitting in bed with his pajamas on in their old house. A place that his mother sold a few months ago. He looked to his left and saw Lucas Sentry standing right there. His father.

"D-Dad!?"

"Well who'd you expect, Peter Pan?" His dad chuckled, "Nah, but seriously you're going to be late for school. So uh...you know why don't we hop to it you know, get going?"

Flash found himself smiling in joy. "Dad, you're really here!" He went up and hugged him. Getting another chuckle out of his father.

"Aw gee. I haven't gotten a hug like that out of you since you were 12." He broke it off, "But come on let's go." Both he and Flash started for the living room. They walked in to be met with his mother, Sabrina Sentry.

"Well it's about time you got up sleepy head." She handed him his lunch pale.

Flash however, still oblivious to what's really going on grabbed his mom's arms, "Mom do you believe it! Dad's back, he's here! Isn't great!"

Both Sabrina and Lucas shot each other confused looks. Not really knowing what's going on in their child's head. Needless they completely overlooked him.

"Okay kiddo time's ticking." Said Lucas, "You gotta go. You don't want to miss that field trip of yours do ya?"

Flash, still with a smile across his face arched an eyebrow. "Field trip? who cares about a dumb field trip. We need to celebrate! I have so much I want to tell you guys."

"Well you could do it after school."

Suddenly Flash found himself going further away from his parents, as if they were zooming out. He couldn't stop himself either.

"Wait!" He tried to reach out his arm to them, but it was no use.

Everything stopped. Flash now found himself standing in a laboratory with all his classmates. Looking around he saw a huge machine that was emitting radioactive beams of energy. His eyes widened. He knew what Field trip his father was referring to.

"The Field trip. The one where it all began." He began searching the room for a certain genetically modified super arachnid. The super spider that started it all.

"I-If I can just find that Spider. Then everything can go back to normal, Dad will be alive and-and."

But as Flash was trying to put his plan into fruition. He felt a sting in his hand, "Ow."

Looking at his top hand he saw the Spider that he'd been trying to look for and avoid ended up biting him again. Flash's eyes widened. It was happening all over again.

"Oh No, NO! NOT AGAIN!"

Flash watched everything flashing before his eyes. Everything!

Him first climbing a wall. Him swinging through the old abandoned school he'd been filming in. Him creating his own costume. A whole montage of Flash starting out as Spider-Man was flashing before his eyes. But the most important part of that whole sequence was the interactive memory of the whole wrestling match.

He was in his original suit, the one he had created before the real Spider-Man suit.

He looked at himself, "Wait. The wrestling suit, but that could only mean..."

"HEY FREAKSHOW!" An accented voice bellowed at him.

Spider-Man turned around, his eyes widened behind his goggles. He took a few steps back. What he saw was a big muscular man taller than him in a white spandex wrestling suit and black boots.

It was Crusher. The six-foot eleven wrestler he'd beaten. "PREPARE TO HAVE YOUR ASS HANDED TO YOU!"

Spider-Man however didn't want any part of it. "What?! I don't want to fight you! I want to get out of here!" He turned around, looking at a worker behind the cage of the wrestling rink. "Yo! GET ME OUTTA HERE!"

"YOU AIN'T GOING NO WHERE!" Crusher got Spider-Man's attention back. Much to Flash's dismay. "THIS IS MY PLAYGROUND."

Spider-Man rolled his eyes, "Ooo scary. Look, I don't have time for this." He looked back at the cage, trying to find a way to break out of it and get out of the rink.

But unfourtanetley, time was going his way. That's because the bell rung three times, meaning the match began. Spider-Man facepalmed, realizing he'd let the chance of escaping go past him. "Great now I have to fight in this sorry excuse of a figh--"

His Spider-Sense went off. He turned around and saw Crusher rushing at him. His eyes narrowed, he leapt upwards, causing Crusher to crash in to cage wall. Spider-Man had also clung onto the cage wall, right out of Crusher's reach.

Crusher staggered back onto his feet., looking around for Spider-Man. Eventually, he looked up and saw Spider-Man sticking onto the wall. His mouth gawped wide open seeing Spider-Man up that high.

"EY WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP THERE HUH?"

Flash however wasn't in the same show time mood he'd been when he first fought Crusher. He instead was more blunt.

"Use your eyes dumbass! I'm staying away from you." That was Spider-Man poking the bear with a stick. He infuriated Crusher by his mere bluntness.

In response, Crusher jumped in the air to try to catch Spider-Man. Spider-Man however knew that Crusher wouldn't be able to grab him from up there. But still, he responded by jumping off the cage wall and landing right behind Crusher. He had a reason for it, he wanted to get this over with and get out as fast as possible. Crusher rushed Spider-Man again. Practically barreling towards him. Spider-Man was anticipating this. To him he was just fighting a brainless bull. Crusher attempted to grab Spider-Man but that's when Flash struck.

He jumped onto Crusher's arm. Swinging at his face in what seemed like a blur. That stunned Crusher as Spider-Man's strikes were more impactful than his. More powerful. He used the moment of him being stunned to perform a chain swift punches. Ending it off, he jumped off Crusher's arm and executed a tornado kick. Hitting Crusher across his face and sending him flying towards the cage walls.

He was knocked out. Spider-Man landed on the ground. He smirked a little behind his mask, feeling a bit of pride over what he'd just done. "Man, I didn't even take me half the time than it did right now."

But that small bit of pride would ultimately be his own downfall. Suddenly, the area around him started to change again. The wrestling arena was now the setting of the outside world, specifically outside the Canterlot Downtown Library. Flash he wasn't wearing his wrestling outfit, instead he was wearing normal clothes.

He looked around, even more dazed. "What now? Where am I?" He looked behind himself and looked at the building that stood behind him. His eyes widened, that confused look became a panicked look.

"Th-The Library?! But if I just fought Crusher and won, th-that would mean." He looked to his side, a bunch of people huddled up together. His heart dropped, he knew this scene all to well. "No, No, NO!" He began running towards the people, he could feel tears swelling from his eyes.

He pushed his way through everyone to make it to the center of attention. He stood there for a quick second, he could feel his heart wrenching even more at the body laying on the ground.

"NO!" He let out a loud cry, trying to get to the body.

An officer noticed. So in-turn, he tried to hold him back. "Hey! Hey! Stay back!"

Flash however, wasn't having any of it. He pushed through officer, "OUT OF MY WAY!" After doing that, he knelt down to the body. "Dad! Dad please don't go!" He held the head of his father in his arms.

His father had been shot, a pool of blood surrounded him. But he was able to muster enough strength to see his son one last time. He smiled, his eyes were a little teary but it was tears of joy. "F-Flash." He tried to reach out for Flash's face. But his head rattled back slowly and he passed away in his son's arms.

Flash closed his eyes and began to sob. "I-I'm too late!"

The scenery around Flash changed again. But except there was no actual scenery this time. Instead it was Flash alone on his knees, sobbing in an empty void of nothingness.

That was until the black-suited Spider-Man appeared out of the ground. He looked at the sobbing teenager and began to speak to him.

"Don't you see now Sentry?! Anytime, anytime we've done something that was for good means, the world doesn't want to reward us. You didn't kill your father, the world took him away from us! All's we've been doing was trying to help you."

Flash looked at the alien figure with teary eyes.

"Join us again. Bond with us again! Let the world witness our greatness and let them wallow in their own guilt and make it rue the day it took your father away. Let us be one."

Flash looked at the alien figure. "It's right. I'm nothing without "the suit" what choice do I really have?"

Flash gave his hand out to the creature. The creature's eyes narrowed at the despaired teenager, it brought joy to him. The black-suited Spider-Man grabbed Flash's hand and it began to crawl up his arms.

But that's when a familiar male voice called out to the both of them, "Wow. Don't you think I get a say in your future?" Flash was pulled back and taken away by the alien's grip.

Flash looked at the person who did it. His eyes widened in disbelief, "Dad?"

The alien of the room however was not having it. "We don't need you anymore old man!"

Lucas smirked and chuckled, "Your right. You don't need me" He patted Flash's shoulder, "But he does." He turned away from the alien and looked at Flash, "Come on kiddo, let's go for a walk."

Flash, though completely dazed on what's going on. Obeyed his father and began walking with him.

"Now I know you're at that age where you'd loathe me for trying to get in your personal life, but I-I'm telling you I gotta step in right now." He took a pause."You know, that guy may seem all cool and powerful and stuff but the truth is, he's not gonna do you any good, and half the things he's telling aren't necessarily the truth."

"But he's right about one thing." Flash sounded gloom and depressed, "The whole world is always against me whenever I do something good."

Lucas frowned. As if he'd heard this one so many times, "So, even after all these years, you're still bothered by everyone's public perception of you. That's your biggest adversity?"

"Well...I mean it's more than that but yeah--"

*slap*

Flash was cut off by a slap to the face by his father. It completely side tracked him. He looked at his father shocked, but not saying a word.

"I-I'm sorry but, you have got to be kidding me!" He sounded a bit more stern with Flash and began to yell at him. To him that was probably the most stupid thing he'd ever heard his son say, "You've got good friends, a good girlfriend, a caring mother and you've got a good future ahead of you. And you want to throw it all away because you want the approval of random people you've never met? That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard out of you. If anything, the people that actually care about you should be worth more to you. Not to mention you're trying to make the worst mistake of your life and join that monster!"

"Don't listen to him Sentry! He's dead what's his opinion matter to us! We have to think ahead."

Lucas got Flash's attention back and put both hands on his shoulders, "Flash forget him! Let me tell you something that I want you to remember for the rest of your life! You've never understood a thing about control, you blame yourself for the things you have no control over and you've lost your own self-control to him! I know you more than he ever will and he's nothing like you! You're the man in control not him, remember that." He gave Flash a determined smile.

Flash stood there silent. Not saying a word for a while. He turned around and looked at the black suit Spider-Man. He wasn't sad anymore instead his eyes narrowed on the 'shadow clone' of Spider-Man. Flash grabbed the hoodie he wore and zipped it down, revealing the real Spider-Man costume.

"You're making a mistake Sentry!"

Flash threw his hoodie off of him and took his pants off. Then, he put on the real Spider-Man mask, "I've made my decision."

Symbiote's eyes narrowed on Spider-Man. It was clear to him he wouldn't join by his own will, not even making him pity would do the trick. Instead, he had the plans of making him join against his will.

"Fine! Look's like You'll have to join by FORCE!"

The Symbiote lunged towards Spider-Man. Spider-Man reacted quickly, leaping out of the way just as the Symbiote was centimeters away. Spider-Man clung onto what he could assume to be a wall in the empty void. Symbiote regained his composure and the two both gave each other a stare down.

Spider-Man eyes narrowed on Symbiote. He launched himself off the non-existent wall. He dove towards Symbiote, but that would result in an unsuccessful attempt. Symbiote fists drove into Spider-Man's gut. This caused Spider-Man to go flying back and fall onto the ground.

Spider-Man groaned in pain. He mustered up the strength to rise back to his feet and regain his own composure. As soon as he got up however, his Spider-Sense went off. Spider-Man turned around to see Symbiote coming at him with a flying kick. Spider-Man quickly grabbed Symbiote's foot.

He hurled Symbiote over his shoulder and turned around. As Symbiote was about to hit the ground, Spider-Man extended his arm out and fired a webline at the bottom of Symbiote's foot. He snagged the webline and tugged on it. Symbiote was pulled back by Spider-Man's webline and was on route to meet Spider-Man's fist.

Symbiote acted quickly to avoid Spider-Man's fist. He rebounded himself mid-air and fired his own webs from his top-hand. These webs met Spider-Man's face, blinding him and making him let out a cry. Shortly after, Spider-Man was met with a kick from Symbiote, causing to stumble to the ground. He ripped the webbing off of his face but it was too late.

Symbiote landed on top of Spider-Man and began to relentlessly punch him in the face without any pause. He mocked Flash as he did so. "DO YOU SEE NOW SENTRY? DO YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DEFY US?!"

Spider-Man couldn't get up, no less try and fight back. Symbiote was too powerful. His Spider-Sense was going crazy as each punch met his face.

Symbiote stopped, thinking he'd made his point. He laughed and scoffed at Spider-Man, It's over for you. You will be ours!

Spider-Man winced. He raised his head up slowly and muttered out his response. "I'm, stronger than you think."

Without hesitation, he drove his fists into Symbiote's jaw. This got Symbiote off of him and he quickly got off the ground. Symbiote landed on the ground flawlessly and let out screech. Out of his back came tentacles.

"WE ARE GROWING QUITE TIRED OF YOUR STUBORNESS SENTRY! JUST GIVE IN AND JOIN US!"

Flash smirked under his mask, "It's going to take a lot more than sophisticated words and sentences to get me!" He charged at Symbiote, letting out a battle cry.

Symbiote snarled, "YOUR FUNERAL SENTRY!"

His tentacles rushed for Spider-Man, trying to get him into their grip. Spider-Man however anticipated for this; it was almost predictable that this would be Symbiote's set of actions. Spider-Man leapt up high in the void. The tentacles followed in pursuit but Spider-Man saw them as an advantage for him. To make Symbiote weak.

Spider-Man ripped the first few oncoming tentacles off of Symbiote with all his might. Landing back on the ground, he set his feet on the ground and watched as more of Symbiote's tentacles came towards him. Spider-Man grabbed both tentacles, moving his hands in opposite sides. He gripped both of them firmly and ripped them off of Symbiote.

Spider-Man began charging for Symbiote, this time avoiding any tentacle that came his way. He vaulted over, slid under, any means of motion to dodge Symbiote's tentacles. Much to Symbiote's annoyance.

"STAY STILL!"

Spider-Man chuckled under his mask, "Look's like the jig is up for you." He landed punch of Symbiote, sending him flying back. "It's a shame really. Heh, forgive me for sounding tacky but this whole time I was led to believe you were a lifesaver for me. But in reality, you're nothing but a lifetaker."

Spider-Man charged at Symbiote, who retaliated by charging back at him. Spider-Man narrowed his eyes. Symbiote reached for Spider-Man's neck. Spider-Man used overly aggressive nature and countered by grabbing Symbiote's wrist and quickly jabbing at his face.

Spider-Man continued by continuously punching him. He held back for a moment and took a deep breath.

"Sorry, but consider yourself dumped!"

Spider-Man let out one last cry before releasing all his strength into one punch.

Symbiote felt all of it. Suddenly he found himself melting away, screaming as he'd been defeated.

Spider-Man panted, he'd finally avail over his toughest battle. He took off his mask and looked into the distance, he smiled as he saw the face of his father.

"Thanks for slapping some sense into me Dad."

Lucas chuckled, "Anytime. And hey, remember you're never alone."

Spider-Man broke through the cocoon created by his own suit after defeating it's manifestation. Causing pieces of the symbiote to go everywhere.

*BONG!*

"NO STOP! YOU'RE MAKING A MISTARE!"

*BONG!*

Flash however didn't respond, he'd felt he'd make his point.

*BONG!*

The suit screeched with each violent sound of the bell.

*BONG!*

Flash began ripping the suit off, bit by bit!

"NO, STOP! STOP!"

Flash took ahold of his chest, otherwise the upper torso of the suit. He girt his teeth as he used all his strength to rip it off of him. He then looked at the bell, he clenched his fist and gave it one last punch.

*BONG!*

The suit fell off of him due to the soundwaves, revealing Flash to still be in an undershirt and striped boxers. Flash spotted a bucket and lid in the corner of the room. He quickly fired a webline towards them and pulled it over to himself. He scooped up the symbiote with the bucket and quickly put the lid on the top of the bucket to trap the symbiote in the bucket. To add on, he shot some webbing to reinforce it.

"I better get out of here." He looked out the window, it was night time. Flash had been trapped for a few hours. It amazed him, he'd been there without anyone noticing him.

He spotted a window at the ceiling. He jumped up and grabbed a railing with one hand while he held the bucket in the other one.

He crawled through the window and he now found himself standing on top of the large cathedral. A full moon was out, it'd looked beautiful and made the webbing glisten a little. Flash knew he was truly in a tough situation, his apartment was a bit far from the cathedral but not too far.

He looked at the roof he was on. He had a pretty clear mindset of what he wanted to do. He used his webbing and stuck the bucket of the Alien Ooze onto the roof.

Turning away, he fired a webline and headed for his apartment to get a clean change of clothes.
