So where was Spider-Man? I'll tell you where, in a bus!

Only 10 hours after the whole bank robbery, a limousine bus pulls into the parking lot of a very familiar Condominium building. In the bus, were twelve people all of whom at that point, fell asleep during their journey from Manhattan and to Canterlot City.

Flash Sentry was one of these people. Making his summer even more eventful and going on a trip to Manhattan with Sunset and her friends, along with their boyfriends. They went there for one sole purpose, to go to the engagement party of Rarity and Applejack.

It was a very interesting party, being a mesh of elegance and fun! Perhaps you could possibly say it was a semi-formal, but nevertheless it was a very well planned event by Applejack and Rarity and they all were tired afterwards, just from exploring the whole city with a new friend.

That new friend was Cheese Sandwich! A Manhattan native who somehow and someway became Pinkie Pie's boyfriend. He'd shown them around the city, showing every best landmark of it during their one week stay, and after all of the fun adventures he had in his home town, he agreed to come to Canterlot with them, maybe even living there if he decides on it.

All of them had all fallen asleep on the leather seats of the bus. Some of them lying upside down on the seats while some were sitting upright. Flash and Sunset were among the few that were sitting upright, leaning on one and other.

##"Madam Rarity?"## The intercom to the Limousine Bus went off, waking up all twelve of the passengers, ##"Madam Rarity, we have arrived.

Rarity crackled her eyes opened, in an almost raspy voice she replied, "Uh~~ y-yes, thank you Chives, We will be out shortly."

The intercom went off, all twelve of the passengers getting up right or stretching, "So were finally in Canterlot City?" asked Cheese Sandwich, "Oh man! I hope it's as exciting as you said it is Pinkie Pie!" He went from exhausted to energetic in almost an instance, though unnatural, it was impressive.

Flash and Sunset both groaned out of getting up, the two prior to falling asleep had had a conversation about air travel and road travel, both of whom debating about which form of travel was better.

"I still think... road travel is better!" She said feeling very weary, "you just don't get a nap like that on a plane, and you have to pop your ears before lift off!"

Flash blinked both of his eyes, trying to adjust to his surroundings, sounding weary himself, "What?! That's just because air gets trapped in your ear or something, it's easily fixed by yawning, and I'm pretty sure it could happen in a car too."

"Speaking of which...." Sunset stretched her arms out and let out a yawn.

They all got out of the Limo bus. Rarity spoke back to Chives, "Chives Dear, you are relieved of your duties for the rest of the day."

Chives nodded from the driver window and drove off.

"So what do y'all suggest we do now?" asked Applejack.

Pinkie Pie put her hand up, "Ooo! Ooo! ME! ME!"

Applejack pinched the bridges of her nose and giggled, "Yes Pinkie?"

"How about we show Cheese Sandwich around Canterlot! You know, get him used to the area!"

"I think we've had enough adventures for a week." Twilight chimed in, "Maybe something that will involve relaxing."

"Well we could watch a movie together." Rainbow Dash suggested, "I heard Kill Bill was brought back to Netflix, we gotta see it!" She pumped her fists in the air from the overwhelming excitement at the thought of watching Kill Bill.

Fluttershy on the other hand, was not as 'on board' with the idea, "Oh... Does it have to be Kill Bill?"

"OF COURSE!" Rainbow Dash blurted, "Everyone knows Kill Bill is one of the greatest pieces of media depicting Martial Arts in the history of ever!"

Everyone was silent for a moment, not expecting Rainbow Dash to use those choices of words in a sentence. Then.. Soarin spoke up.

"Wow! First of all I had no idea you could even say those words in a sentence and second of all, Fluttershy is kinda right, I mean we have seen the movie a thousand times at this point."

"WHAT!?" Rainbow Dash had a very egotistical tone in her voice. She soon calmed down, "Well then what do you want to watch?"

"Well…." Soarin stroked his chin, "We could watch Raiders of the Lost Ark!"

"Are you kidding me?" Rainbow Dash protested, "Daring Do would kick his ass in any situation!"

"WHAT?!" Soarin too had that same egotistical tone, "Indiana Jones is way more action packed than some... SOME RULE 63!"

Rainbow Dash felt the anger boil inside her, and in a fit of rage she yelled at her boyfriend, "YOU TAKE THAT BACK!" They both growled at each other for a minute, but that gave Sandalwood an idea.

"Dude, Dudet! You guys are geniuses!"

The two glanced at Sandalwood with shocked expressions, "We are?" The both spoke in unison.

"Yeah! Maybe we could turn this argument into a competition, all of us watch the best movie of each film franchise, and decide on which is the better one."

Everyone seemingly agreed to the idea. Though it sounded like a bit of a long stretch, seeing how both film franchises had multiple films, it would be almost impossible to decide on who is the better adventurer, but both Soarin and Rainbow Dash were competitors and couldn't care less about the movie they'd watch.

Soarin glanced at Rainbow Dash, "Whoever wins has to buy dinner on the next date!"

"You're on!"

The two bolted for the condo entrance, leaving everyone to laugh at their expense as they began following the two inside.

Sunset glanced at Flash, "So are you stayin' 'camera boy'?" Sunset teased.

Flash stroked his chin, "Well common sense says I should go freshen up and change out of these, but at the same time seeing Soarin in a competition is too good to miss."

"I'm gonna take that as a yes."

"Well I never said yes... but I never said no either." Flash chuckled, pointing his index finger at Sunset, tilting his head to seem slick.

Sunset rolled her eyes and gave Flash a playful punch to his arm, "Whatever you say 'Doctor Strange'."

"What?" Flash sarcastically shrugged, "Who said being normal was always--" But then out of nowhere, Flash's phone began to ring, playing an itsy bitsy spider jingle. "The Daily Bu--Oh uh I gotta take this!" It was from one of his co-workers, Robbie Robertson

Flash cleared his throat and answered the phone, "Hey Mr. Robertson!"

"Flash, how many times do I have to tell you not to be so formal" Robbie chuckled. "Anyway, I'm just here to call on J.J's behalf."

Flash arched an eyebrow, "Doesn't seem like Mr. Jameson to not call me in a fit of rage."

"Well he's sick today, poor guy."

Flash couldn't help but kind of smirk a little, "Well at least my ear drums can have a break."

"So what'd he want to 'say' to me" Flash gestured his fingers, putting a sarcastic emphasis on the word say.

"Well Flash this is some serious stuff, I'm not sure even he'd joke about it"

Flash couldn't see it but he could tell Robbie changed his tone, furrowing his eyebrows he too stopped chuckling, "What Happened?"

"There's seem to be a slew of crimes across the city throughout the week and even weirder, they were all hate crimes directed to Spider-Man, and I'm talking big, Vandalism, Public Discords, even today there was a Bank Heist where three suspects got away with thousands of dollars worth of gold!"

Flash was almost in disbelief, "No way!" Even when he was gone in Tokyo, the worst that'd happen was a burglary, but Vandalism aside, people have probably been hurt through the Discords and possibly the early morning Bank Heist.

"Now, I'm not encouraging this but Jameson want's you to go get pictures of the events that took place and at the press conference tonight, but I guess judging by your track record you don't need a warning, but still, be careful out there Flash!"

"Got it!" Flash nodded. Flash let out a sigh and gritted his teeth, "I'm gonna be doing a lot more than getting pictures Robbie!"

The group could see Flash and the growing tension and nervousness within him. Sunset could especially see it and out of habit she put her hand on his shoulder. That broke Flash out of his trans. "Flash what's wrong?" She spoke in genuine concern and urgency.

Flash glanced at Sunset, glancing away he let out a sigh, "Sunset... I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to miss out the whole competition thing."

"You don't have to apologize!" said Sunset, she took a breath, "So is J.Jonah giving you a hard time again."

Flash shook his head, he wanted to tell Sunset about the slew of crimes but he didn't want to scare her with it, after that whole week in Manhattan he thought that she deserves to relax and not have to worry about anything, "No, this time he has a job for me, something I probably can't get out of."

"Well... if you still want to come by tonight The door is always open for you." Sunset smiled. "If not it's whatever, I'm not gonna get at you for it, but you know call first before coming."

Flash smiled back, "I'll see how the night plays out." He planted a kiss on Sunset's forehead and ran off to the entrance, "Love you!"

"Love you too!" Sunset could feel her cheek becoming red as she smiled.

Flash ran out of the Condo Entrance and dashed towards an Alleyway, "Good thing I packed this with me!" Pulling the hoodie over his head, it revealed a red spandex-compression mesh torso with a black Spider emblem in the middle, pulling a mask out of his pocket he put it over his head, taking his pants off to reveal the other part of his spandex body suit, he took his phone and placed it in the pocket of his leggings. Finally taking his shoes off he grabs all the clothing he had and stuffs them in his backpack.

"Better make a quick detour home to lift the load!" He leapt in the air fired a webline, a whitish grey rope of webbing that wrapped around a flag pole.

He began swinging, arcing his webline upwards he fired another one at a building a few blocks away.

Author's Note

And that was the second Chapter of FSTSS Issue #5

So in it, Flash and the gang come back from Manhattan, (Because I'm not doing the whole Manehattan thing!) and Flash learns of what happened earlier in the morning when the Enforcers struck.

So I know I wanted to minimize comedic tones in the story but I just had to do the Daring Do and Indiana Jones bit for two reasons, one was I needed filler XD, the second was for my own amusment to write out two fictional characters fighitng about two fictional characters.

So something new I did in this story, which will be happening from this point forward was italicize Flash's thoughts and put quotation marks around them to help differentiate from the narration text, you know like most books would.
