Luster Dawn is tasked by Twilight Sparkle to find other libraries across different universes. Twilight Sparkle asks Luster Dawn to plant "book portals" in these libraries so that she and other budding pony scholars from Equestria could easily visit for research purposes and to learn more about the multiverse they live in. In the EQG universe, Luster Dawn forgets to place a camouflage spell on a book portal and is found by a human named, Mares Fillies.
