Erwin Rommel and Ferdinand Schörner were never the best of comrades. Let alone were they even fond of each other. Their then petty now turned bitter rivalry began in 1917 after a slight confusion was made by the German High Command which saw Schörner win Germany's highest medal, the Pour Le Merite, for capturing a mountain that Rommel had fought (and took a bullet) to take. Eventually Rommel won the medal for probably causing the worst defeat against the Italian Army in 1917 when he convinced the entire 1st Italian Infantry Division with a little more than a hundred men. Now almost two decades later, the two men find themselves at odds again at the Dresden War Academy and their rivalry and Schörner's added "practical jokes", both have reached their breaking point. However, a mysterious event sees them transported to a new world with strange beings and mind-bending things that break their version of natural law. Added to that, these combat veterans will soon have to gear up together and put almost 2 decades worth of nonsense behind them. Only time can tell how that will go.
