Nightmare on Nightmare Night
It was a normal Nightmare Night. The moon was full, kids were making candy offerings, and the mane 6 were hanging out in Twilight's castle.
"Twilight, this cherry punch is great," Rainbow Dash complimented. The drink was blood red. She took a sip and held it in her mouth until Rarity came over. Then, she let the drink slide through her teeth. It looked like blood dripping down her chin. Rarity screamed, and everyone laughed, Rainbow Dash spitting the rest of her drink on the floor by accident.
"Oops, sorry Twi," Rainbow Dash apologized.
"It is okay," Twilight Sparkle said, cleaning the mess with her magic.
Pinkie Pie and Applejack were bobbing for apples. Pinkie grabbed one and smiled, showing two fake fangs.
Fluttershy sat in a corner. Nightmare Night was not her cup of tea. She feared this night above all others.
"Do you guy want to tell scary stories?" Applejack suggested.
"Oooo, I know one. I found it on the computer," Pinkie exclaimed.
"Boy, I hope this one isn't one were I die," sighed Rainbow Dash.
"Brony made things are scary," Fluttershy said, curling up into a ball.
"Well, let's hear this one," Twilight Sparkle proposed.
"Okay, so you Twilight, Applejack, and Rarity were having a picnic went I came running to you, smiling," started the party pony.
The story continued. Pinkie kept in every single gory detail. Fluttershy barfed at least once in a bucket. The rest of the mane six just watched in aw.
"Then, as Fluttershy lay on the ground, blood streaming from her nose, I made the biggest powerball. Fluttershy saw it, but by then it was to late. I thrust the ball at her, burning her to a crisp. Then the whole world exploded. The end," Pinkie Pie finished. Everyone else stared at her.
"What the buck is wrong with Bronies?" Applejack said, dumbfounded by what Pinkie Pie just said.
"At least you have had times were you were good and didn't die," Rainbow Dash said, shuttering at the image of her puking out her intestines Pinkie Pie had engraved in her mind.
"Well Pinkie Pie that was," Twilight started. She was cut off by the lights turning off. Everypony shreaked. There was a splash sound near the snacks and a slurping noise.
"SOME PONY TURN ON THE LIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Pinkie Pie shouted.
"One second," Fluttershy said. In a minute, the lights were one, but everyone suddenly wished they were off. This was because, laying on the floor, dead as a door nail, was Rainbow Dash. She had blood on her neck. Two marks were in her neck, but no blood dripped out. Her face was chalk white, for there was no blood in her. Her wings were in the upright position. And there was two ponies in the room with blood on her face. Rarity and Fluttershy.
"Rainbow," Applejack said, close to tears. She took off her hat.
"Who could have *sniff* done this to you?" Pinkie Pie cried, her hair drooping.
"Rarity, Fluttershy," Twilight said. "You have blood on your faces. Explain."
"I was taking a drink to clean out my mouth from the vomit. It is just punch," Fluttershy said. She licked the punch off her lips and around her mouth to prove it.
"I was preparing for a big finish with Pinkie Pie. I was going to pour punch on her to make a dramatic ending. The lights turned off and I splashed the punch on me," Rarity explained, beckoning to the snack table. It was covered in the red liquid.
Pinkie Pie started to swear. "I'll give the ******* pony who ******* killed Dashie a ******* piece of my ******* mind!!! ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Such language," stated Fluttershy.
"YOU CARE ABOUT LAGUAGE AFTER RAINBOW DASH DIED!!!!!!!" Applejack screamed. "IF YOU WEREN'T SO INICINT, I WOULD SUSPECT THAT YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"The bite marks seem to be that of fangs," Twilight observed.
"PINKIE, YOU HAD ON FAKE FANGS!!!!! accused Rarity.
"I would never ******* kill Dashie," Pinkie shouted.
"Doesn't Spike have fangs?" Applejack pointed out.
"He is in the other room," Twilight pointed out.
"Well he is one of the suspects we have so far, we should at least check," Fluttershy explained.
The five remaining ponies walk out to see Spike. Spike was reading quietly.
"Spike!" said Twilight. "Rainbow Dash is dead. She was bitten by a creature with fangs. You have fangs. Did you do it?"
"What no, I never..." Spike started, but the lights turned off. Everyone screamed.
The lights were turned on by Rarity. Spike had disappeared.
"Where is Spike?" Applejack asked. Just then, Spike fell from the ceiling. His blood sprayed everywhere from the impact. Every pony screamed and ran back to the room with Rainbow Dash lying dead. There was no doubt that the same happened to Spike.
"That," said Applejack, catching her breath. "...is now officially the third scariest thing I have ever in my life seen."
"I would have to agree," Rarity said. "Now, I would be happy if every pony let me leave."
Twilight stopped Rarity at the door. "You must not go. Not until we know who the killer is. I am sorry, but noone is to leave this room." Twilight locked all the doors.
"B...b...but, the killer may still be in this room," Fluttershy said.
"Fluttershy, we must know who is doing this, and the faster we are, the less likely we are of dying," Twilight explained.
"Maybe if we check Rainbow Dash again, we will be able to find out," Applejack suggested.
The five ponies walked over to Rainbow Dash. They cringed at the look of horror on her dead face. Twilight saw something next to the bites. A liquid.
"I think I may have a clue," said Twilight. Then, the lights turned off. Every pony panicked. They heard a whack and a scream of pain. When Applejack turned on the lights, Pinkie Pie was laying on the floor, holding on to dear life, literally. She had two bruises on her from being bucked in the chest. She gave a cough, blood oozing from her mouth.
"Pinkie?" Twilight said, running to her.
"Oh my," said Rarity.
Applejack stared at the newly dying friend, not knowing how much more she could take.
"Pinkie, you're, dying," Fluttershy gasped.
"I *cough* know. Will I *cough* see Dashie?" the perishing pink party pony pondered.
Her friends, wanting to make this easy, nodded.
"I am *cough* glad," Pinkie Pie said, before closing her eyes for the last time. Her last moments were smiling.
"Alright, who in the hay did this?" Applejack said.
No one replied. They had no clue what to do. With Pinkie Pie dead, who knew who would die next.
Then the lights turned off again. When Twilight turned them on, both Rarity and Applejack were lying, dead. This left one pony.
"Fluttershy!!!!!!!!!" Twilight said astounded. "You were killing every pony."
"Why yes Twilight," the mare replied in a sinister tone. "I was the one killing every pony."
"Why?" asked the book horse.
"Why?! WHY?!!!???!! WhY?????!!!!?!?!?! Because of you TWILIGHT SPARKLE. You did this to me," the angry mare replied.
"I never did anything to you," Twilight said, scared.
"Oh really," started the vengeful mare. "Because I remember you casting a spell on me that turned me into a bat pony."
"I fixed that," Twilight recalled.
"NO YOU DIDN'T!!!!!!" shouted Fluttershy. "You merely got rid of my taste for apples. I was still a bat pony. This time though, I needed BLOOD. I wasn't throwing up because of Pinkie's story, although it was gruesome. No, I needed blood. I turned of the light and killed Rainbow Dash with a neurotoxin. I drained her blood as well. The only problem was that I couldn't wait to see if you guys would figure it out. So I killed everyone else. I save you for the end."
"Why," Twilight said in a high pitched voice.
"So you can watch you're friends die slowly," Fluttershy explained. "But now it is you turn."
Fluttershy transformed into a bat pony and lunged and Twilight...
