Still Ember had faith that while Spike may have been weak by dragon standards, his accomplishments among the ponies would make up for it. Officially adopted into royal house of the Alicon sisters and raised as the brother to Princess Twilight and Prince Shining Armor, both of whom rule their own kingdoms. He is also the chief royal delegate to not just the dragon lands, but the changeling empire as well." Ember answer back.

Another dragon stuck her long neck out of the pool, this time a pink one who blinked. Wearing a slightly impressed but still mostly neutral face.

"Humph. Adoption is not the same as blood lineage. And a royal position, no matter how noble speaks nothing of a creature’s strength of blood. There is more to being worthy than simply being royalty. A dragon must prove his strength in battle as both a conqueror and a beast."

Ember frowned, but continued to plead her case. “Well this dragon is already known as a great hero in Equestria. He helped save the Crystal Empire from an evil king of dark magic as is recognized as a national hero by them. He also won the Gauntlet of Fire when he was only a welp. And you know how difficult that challenge is even for a dragon." Ember explained.

A blue dragoness head emerged from the lava this time. Her face looking more thoughtful and considerate of Ember’s words. “Impressive. The gauntlet of fire has taken the lives of even some of the mightiest of dragons. Perhaps there is more to this outcast than I had heard. But strength on the battlefield is one thing. What of his virility? Only a dragon of great virility stands even a chance with me.”

Ember smiled as she folded her arms. “Don’t worry about that. Spike has already assembled a sizable herd. Last I heard he had over 9 mates as his mates. As well as ponies he regularly satisfies on the side. Including all four of the alicorn princesses.”
