Author's Note

This will take place after Twilight is a princess, I forgot if she became a princess before or after the Mare Do Well thing. If it was before, act like it was after.

Betrayal

"Wh-what..."
Rainbow Dash couldn't believe her eyes.

"You guys..."
This felt like a stab in the heart.
Give it five extra stabs for each friend.

"What?"
Twilight walked over but Rainbow Dash pushed her backwards.

"Rainbow! What was that for!?"
Applejack helped Twilight back up.

"Why... why did you do this?"
"Well, we thought we would teach you a lesson. But apparently you caught Pinkie Pie before it was time for the great reveal. But we decided-"
"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!?!"
"Rainbow! Please! Listen to me!"
"NO! You ruined everything! My reputation, my fan club, EVERYTHING! YOU RUINED MY LIFE!!!"
After that, everypony was silent.

"We're sorry. We just didn't know what else to do."
"Well, here's one way: come and at least TALK TO ME FIRST BEFORE STABBING ME IN THE BACK FIVE. FUCKING. TIMES!!!"
"We're sorry. It's just that-"
Rainbow Dash gave Twilight a hard slap across the face. Rarity tried to hit Rainbow Dash back but missed. But she was at least able to tear a bit of her factory uniform.

"SHUT UP! You all know that I value loyalty over everything! I would've died to save one of you! I would've done anything to save you all! But after this! THIS BETRAYAL! I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER DO THAT AGAIN! THAT INCLUDES YOU, FLUTTERSHY!!!"
Fluttershy squeaked and got behind Rarity.

"B-but I only did the fly by. I didn't do anything else."
Rarity put a hoof around her, getting her magic ready for anything Rainbow Dash might do to the timid pegasus.

"I. DON'T. CARE. You were part of this! You were all part of this! Now nopony even considers me their hero! It's all just Mare Do Well here, Mare Do Well there, she's everywhere! There's only one pony I know who still likes me more than your 'Mare-Do-Well' and that's my sister! No, not Scootaloo! Rainbowrio! And Scootaloo used to think of ME as her hero! SO BUCK YOU ALL!"
Nopony said anything in a long time.

"If you excuse me, I have somewhere to be right now. Enjoy your lives as Mare-Do-Well. Now I'm a nobody outside of the Rainbow Factory."
Rainbow Dash took off towards Cloudsdale, not looking back at her so-called-friends even once.

"Well, girls. This backfired on us."
Twilight said.

"I'h can't believe it. What were we thinkin?"
Applejack took off the hat of her Mare Do Well costume.

"We betrayed her. She's right. And she does value loyalty over everything else. We betrayed her."

"I don't think we're going to be able to make it up to her."
Rarity sat down and Fluttershy put her head on Rarity's shoulder, crying.

"I'm afraid so." Celestia said, as she flew to the five ponies.

"P-Princess Celestia!" Twilight cried.

"I'm afraid you just lost one of the most important elements. Rainbow Dash will never forgive you now. I don't know what will happen to you all, but I hope she will at least come back."
Twilight looked the princess in the eyes.

"I hope so..."
