Canterlot High School
The school day was just about to start, all the teachers were getting their lessons ready for the day, Principal Celestia was getting her morning coffee when she noticed her sister, Vice Principal Luna, was looking a bit down more so that usual.
“Luna what’s wrong?” she asked in a concerned tone,
“It’s been thirty-two years since Jason drowned,” Luna said in a quiet voice, she then sighed as she relived that horrid memory within her head, seeing her only friend get lifted up by the other children and then thrown into the lake, all the while they laughed as Jason couldn’t swim and inevitably drowned. Celestia let out a tired sigh, she wishes that she could help her sister, but there is nothing that can help her get over the death of her first friend. That is until a lightbulb went off in her head, why not take a field trip out there, like what they did with Camp Everfree, yes that could work, besides what’s the worst that can happen?
Camp Crystal Lake
The campgrounds are littered with corpses, most with slash marks, others with missing limbs. A lone figure can be seen lifting the corpses and putting them on the back of a closed top trailer that’s connected to a truck, the figure takes a brick and puts it on the gas pedal making truck speed off into the lake getting rid of the bodies along with it. Jason walks back to his little cabin in the woods when he reached it, the sun was already setting, granted he didn’t need sleep he usually did just to make his mother happy. He entered the shrine room dedicated to her head,
“Jason, my special, special boy,” Pamela said in a motherly tone, “soon, some more bad people will be coming.” His mother warned he nodded. “In a few days time, they will be here, be prepared as it’s an entire high school,”
“An entire high school, coming here, why?” he thought to himself,
“I do not know but be careful, some of the students are capable of using magic,”
“What kind of magic do they wield?”
“I do not know, but I can tell they are powerful with it,” that sounded troublesome, granted he is strong when using his black magic, but if they use white magic, they may be able to defeat him,
“How many?”
“There are seven magic users, possibly more,” oh yeah that’s not good, maybe he should just not interact with them, “are you doubting your own abilities, Jason?”
“If they are as strong as you say, and if there are more of them than just the seven, then yes I am,” Jason knows when to give up, granted it’s been a long time since he had to. The last time being when he was fighting another revenant, Kayako if he recalls her name correctly, while she was strong he’s stronger but it’s more of the fact they both realized they can’t kill one another, so they gave up. Jason ended up having to take the long way back to New Jersey as he was stuck in Japan at the time, but that’s a story for a different day. As for now, Jason will rest for a day or so, then start preparing the traps, just in case they get a bit too close to his cabin, but other than that, he’s not really going to be paying attention to the group.
Canterlot High School
The whole school has been called down to the gymnasium, everyone is obviously confused as they weren’t told there was going to an assembly today, everyone was chatting with one another making guesses as to what’s going on, soon everyone was silenced when the principal walked up to the microphone that was set up.
“I can tell you’re all wondering why we called for this last-minute assembly, and I’m here to tell next week Wednesday, we’re going on a field trip to another camp!” she announced, at that everyone cheered, “We’re going to be staying there for the entire week, the camps name is Camp Crystal Lake,” at that everyone stopped cheering, “Luna and I went there one summer, but it didn’t end well. We’re going there as a way to remember our friend that had drowned there that one summer,”
“Uh, Principal Celestia if I may ask, what year did your friend drown?” a student asked,
“Oh, it was uh,” Celestia started to blank on the year until Luna came up,
“It was 1987, in May,” she informed, the students were obviously freaking out, because they’ve heard the rumors of Jason Voorhees that masked killer of Camp Blood.
“Now I suggest you all get ready for an entire week of fun!” Celestia cheered, both her and Luna being completely oblivious to their scared students.
Wednesday came and the students were still freaking out. Some were tempted to just call up sick, but their parents had stopped them and forced them to go, saying that Jason Voorhees does not exist. Anyway, it was a day’s worth of driving, of course with multiple stops along the way, the teachers and principals taking turns driving. As the bus approached a worn sign saying, Welcome to Camp Crystal Lake Blood, though they couldn’t really make out what the sign said, though it didn’t matter, they finally made it to the old camp. The bus pulled up an old dirt road and saw just how old the camp really was, the sign had fallen off ages ago, the cabins look like they haven’t been repaired in decades. In short, the whole place was in disrepair, as the bus stopped to let the kids out, the principals warned the students of the cabins saying they might be dangerous. The students didn’t really care, they just wanted to fall into a bed and fall asleep.
From afar Jason watched as the kids picked cabins with their friends, girls with girls, boys with boys. This actually surprised Jason a bit, usually, guys just go with girls to have sex, but yet here are some teens being more responsible than most adults he’s killed. He was trying to determine who was a magic user and who wasn’t, but he couldn’t get a read on any of them, so he decided he’d check in the morning, and headed back to his little cabin in the woods.
Author's Note
Okay so first of all, this isn't my first fanfiction, but it is my first on this site. I should also mention I've never seen the show nor the movies, but I have read a lot of fanfics to hopefully get an idea of their personalities, so if I ever get anything wrong about the characters and how they act, please let me know.
Chapter 2: A Wild Jason Appears
As Jason was about to turn away to start walking to his cabin, something or rather someone caught his eye, she’s one of the adults, dark blue hair with dark blue skin and her eyes are a unique color combination of blue and green. She seems very familiar,
“Where have I seen her before?” Jason thought to himself, “Hm, it’s probably nothing, I need to go home before anyone sees me,” he promptly turned and walked back to his little cabin. The next morning the students were called to the middle of the campgrounds,
“Alright everyone, as you can see, this place is in disrepair, how about we fix this place up?” Principal Celestia suggested everyone agreed, this place may be the stomping grounds of a psychopathic murderer, but that doesn’t mean it should crumble and decay away like this. As the students and teachers started working on cleaning up the trash, some of the other students started taking notes on the cabins, like what needs repair and how much damage there is, others were measuring parts of the cabins and using the scrap wood that was in a shed and getting it ready for the repairs. As they were doing that, Jason watched in astonishment, they were cleaning and fixing the camp?
“Mother, are you sure they’re bad?” Jason asked his deceased mother,
“I am not too sure now myself, Jason,” she said, even she’s surprised the kids were doing this, no one ever thinks of cleaning up after themselves or fixing the place, “Jason, while they may be acting good for right now, just remember that they might have drugs or alcohol on them,” ah right, teenagers always have that, and sometimes adults as well. He watched as the two sisters started walking to every student and asking them if they brought any alcohol or drugs, each time the students said no, it seems as though they’re telling the truth, except one girl with white hair, wearing a brown leather jacket, yellow gloves, and brown pants, while she did say no, the two sisters didn’t believe her and asked her to empty her pockets, she only had a flask. The two sisters scolded her about smuggling alcohol on the trip, so they dump the contents out and kept the flask,
“Huh, so they don’t like alcohol nor drugs, same as most of the students,” this was a major surprise to Jason, as most of the teens he’s slaughtered over the years love alcohol, drugs, and sex, but yet these kids are different. Though there was one person he didn’t kill, even though he loves this one alcoholic drink called Everclear, the reason why is because his soul is just like Jason’s, damaged and warped, also he was very hard to kill, Jason had stabbed him at least twenty times in the chest and the guy just got back up and continued fighting, he escaped then sent him a postcard from Illinois, that was about ten years ago.
Anyway, he still couldn’t get a read on the magic users, so maybe he should just head back for now, as he was about to head back to his cabin, another car showed up. Four people got out of the car, there all guys carrying guns, the taller of the two sisters walked up to the new group,
“Hello there, might I ask what you’re doing here?” Celestia asked the driver, he looked at her,
“Well, we’re here to hunt down the legendary Jason Voorhees of course,” he said with a grin, then he noticed the students, “what are you doing here?”
“We’re here on a field trip, and legendary? Jason Voorhees wasn’t legendary, he drowned when he was eleven, there’s nothing legendary about him,” Celestia didn’t know Jason as her sister did, but drowning at the age of eleven does not make you a legend.
“Miss, you do know Jason Voorhees is a murderer right?” he asked as if she’s an idiot.
“How can a dead boy, kill anyone, besides he was harmless back then, I doubt that’d change if he was still alive,”
“Ma’am, he’s killed over six hundred people,” now Luna is walking up,
“I knew Jason back then, he was the nicest person around. How dare you talk about the dead like that!” she screamed at the man, the man started to back away in fear, he may have a gun, but a pissed off woman is much scarier than Jason Voorhees.
“Luna, calm down,” Celestia put a hand on her sister’s shoulder. Jason watched the interaction go down from afar in the tree line
“Ah, so I guess I do have to kill some people,” that’s good news to him, he thought he was going to be bored for a while, and these people seemed like they want him dead, so even more of a reason to kill them. Wait, did the taller woman just call the short one, Luna? Why does that name sound so familiar, it’s probably nothing, he turned away and walked back to his cabin to prepare for the night, as he started to walk away, he stepped on a fallen tree branch making a loud snapping sound,
“Oh, how the tables have turned, huh Jason?” his mother mocked him for his misfortune of doing the same thing many of his victims did, well maybe they didn’t hear that?
“What was that?” one of the students said in a panicked voice, nope they heard it, of course, they did. The four men started to make their way to him, well no time like the present to start the bloodbath, so Jason unsheathed his old machete and made his way towards the four men.
There is no need to kill the kids, as they weren’t much of a threat, well except the seven magic users, but that doesn’t matter, as he came out from the brush everyone was shocked, to say the least, even the four hunters they started to shake in fear. Then again Jason is huge, standing at 6’10”, as well as his dirty brown jacket that’s covered in cuts, bullet holes, blood. Yeah, he isn’t someone you want to bump into in a dark alley, anyway, Jason slowly approached the four gunmen, as they started to open fire two of them have shotguns, the other two have handguns. The bullets are hitting him, but they aren’t doing anything except annoying him.
Jason raised his machete behind his head and acted as though he was going to throw it, instead a green replica of his machete came out of nowhere and embedded itself in one of the hunter’s chest, he walked up to the injured hunter and grabbed him by the throat and clenched it to the point where he could feel the hunter’s windpipe break making him choke up blood and suffocate. Jason dropped the corpse making a thud sound as it hit the ground, he slowly turned to another hunter, he started making his way towards him, when the hunter suddenly grabbed Luna and threw her at Jason. Jason not wanting to harm her moved his machete away to grab her, she looked up at him in fear, she was about to say something when Jason patted her on the head and went after the hunter that tried to get her killed. The man was confused by this, he wasn't even acting like how every survivor described.
“What the hell, don’t you kill anyone and everyone!” the man yelled, Jason turned back to Luna who didn’t even back away in fear, instead she took a step towards the giant,
“Jason?” she asked, her voice even sounded familiar, “Don’t you remember me? It’s me, Luna, you were my only friend, remember?” Luna? Friend? Oh...oh...OH! Jason snapped his head towards the hunter a raging flame appearing in his one eye, the hunter started backing away and emptying his magazine into Jason’s torso, as Jason stomped towards the hunter it seemed as though he was teleporting just to get closer to the man, Jason reached out towards the hunter grabbing his left arm and crushing it shattering the bone, Jason slammed his machete in the ground embedding it in the dirt, he then slammed his fist into the hunter’s gut breaking most of his ribs and destroying his kidney, this made the hunter cough up a lot of blood. Jason threw him to the ground, he rose his boot above the man’s head and just stomped the living shit out of it, turning it into a red paste, he snapped his head to the other living hunters, he hoisted his machete out of the ground and chucked it at one of the hunter’s head ripping it off due to the sheer force behind the throw, making blood spurt out of his neck as the body slowly fell to the ground. The other one dropped his gun and hopped in the car to try and escape, that is until Jason was somehow by the driver side window all of a sudden, he promptly ripped the door off and pulled the hunter out, Jason reached his hand out towards his machete, making a dull red inverted pentagram appear on his hand, his machete miraculously started to fly right back to Jason, who then rose the machete above his head intending to kill the man,
“Jason stop!” Luna shouted he snapped his head towards her, “Let him go, Jason,” she ordered, he looked at the man then back to her tilting his head, “I said, let him go,” she sounded like his mother,
“Jason, it’s best you do as she says, we don’t know who the magic wielders are, she could be one,”yeah that made sense, but still, “Jason,” she warned, Jason let go of the man’s neck, he then got back in the car and sped off.
“Jason we have a lot to talk about if that’s who you really are,” Luna has her arms crossed with a stern expression, the kids looked scared and scarred for life, her sister is a mix, the teachers look the same as the students. Jason sheathed his machete and walked over to one of the logs the students use as benches and sat down, of course, everyone is on edge after his display of both power and strength. He looked at Luna and nodded.
