Alien VS Predator: Return To Equestria
Alien VS Predator: Return To Equestria by TheCBF36/Mr. Dorchester
Sequel to Alien VS Predator: Equestrian Hymn
Prologue:
Lonewolf hit the thrusters and sped towards his homeworld. He had made his decision to return to the strange planet, known as Equestria, according to his planet radar. He wanted to find the origins of the strange machine that had transported him and his (now dead) protege, Youngblood, to the planet.
Not only that, but he wanted to find a new type of game for him to hunt. One with more then the regular stealth and power. When he was retreating with Princess Luna, he learned that not only did the Serpent Hybrids take the form of the ponies, but inherited some of their abilities as well. Such as flight and magic, which Lonewolf decided would add a great challenge, and more honor upon his kind.
But he didn't want to go at it alone. He would tell his clan of the strange world, and others would come with him to find the origins and bring the new game to the field. They wouldn't be doing any harm, as Lonewolf did not want to hurt anyone. He was a Berserker Predator. His kind was ruthless, and only cared for their own well being. But Lonewolf was different in many ways. He cared for others, especially after the death of Youngblood.
He wore the regular Berserker mask with the bone of a bottom jaw attached to the bottom of his helmet.
Back to his personality. Lonewolf was one of the Elders of his clan, the Hooded Blades. He was never interested in becoming leader, and claimed the name Lonewolf as he proved better in battle and hunting when alone. But he didn't mind taking or tagging along with others to observe or train them.
Lonewolf landed the ship on the docking bay of his clans base. The Hooded Blades were one of the best known for their capture of the first queen when the Serpents were introduced to the field. But that was back 200 billion years ago, yet that hasn't taken away any of the honor. It was considered a blessing to be part of the Hooded Blades, and Lonewolf did not take that blessing lightely.
He walked up the long stairs to the current leader of the Hooded Blades throne room. A massive Predator who proved useful alone, and in battle. With scars covering most of his body, showing his many kills and rising honor, he was known as one of the best on the planet. Yet he had retired from hunting, and now managed his clan, only aiming for greatness.
Lonewolf knew it was his leaders lust for greatness, honor, and fortune that gave him his weakness of approving anything he found challenging, no matter how dangerous.
Lonewolf bowed before his leader, and was asked to return to his former stance.
The leader of the Hooded Blades was known by many names, Hero, Honor Filled, he was even considered a god. But he knew he was still a child under the Gods, and always followed them. Filled with religion and a smart head upon his shoulders, he enjoyed to be called King.
“Lonewolf, I see you have returned from your hunt. What did take you so long?” King asked. “And where is Youngblood?”
Lonewolf removed his helmet, his bionic eye shifting in its socket. “We fell into some sort of trap. Youngblood and I found a strange machine, which transported us to a strange world known as Equestria. The Serpents followed us, and sadly, Youngblood was lost due to the Serpents.”
King nodded his head slowly, looking saddened by the death of Youngblood. A few moments of silence passed before King spoke up, “I will send word of Youngblood's death to his family. But his death was not in vain, was it?”
“It was not. I can assure you of that. His sacrifice became our victory as we wiped the Serpents off the face of that planet.”
“Then it was a victory, I presume...” King said. His head shifted to the side.
“Yes it was.”
King rose out of his throne. His bulky armor fit perfectly on his muscular body, and his long dark red cape, stained with holes to show where the acid blood of King's victims had been in the presence of.
“Then tell me, Lonewolf. Why we have picked up a signal of Serpent activity on a far away planet? Not on Earth?”
Lonewolf cocked his head to the side, “What do you mean?”
King removed a piece of technology from his wrist bracer, and showed a hologram of the galaxy to Lonewolf. It showed a blinking red dot on a far away planet, filled with color.
The planet was Equestria.
“I don't understand. All of the Serpents were wiped out when the wrist bomb went off.”
“Well, Lonewolf. It seems they are ready for another fight.” King said as he deactivated his hologram, “I want you to go back and finish what the Serpents have started. You have failed, Lonewolf. If any others are to find out of this mess, then great shame will fall upon not only the clan, but you and I as well. And I will be held most responsible.”
Lonewolf felt like he was being crushed under tons of pressure, guilt and shame piled itself on his shoulders. But then he remembered the main reason for coming to see King in the first place.
“Well, you see. The machine broke, and I wanted to find the origins of the machine. I planned to gather up a few other Hunters as well, and travel back to Equestria. I also did plan to bring back a few ponies to use as hosts for a new type of game. You see, the Serpents inherited the abilities of the inhabitence of the planet. The creatures that live on Equestria hold flying and magic abilities. We could create a new type of Serpent! A type that will prove a great challenge, even for you.”
King stroked his chin with his claw in deep thought. He looked up at Lonewolf, a smirk making its way across King's face, “Then it shall be done. I will send you two others to assist you in ridding of the lone Serpent, and capturing a resident of this... Equestria planet.”
“But I don't want any harm to come upon any others...” King continued.
“The residents of Equestria are innocent, and you will make sure none are killed in any of your attempts, Lonewolf. They will stay unaware of the danger, and stay safe.”
Lonewolf saluted King, “It shall be done, my lord.”
King nodded his head, allowing Lonewolf to halt his salute, “Do not fail me again, Lonewolf. Or there will be dire consequences...”
