Twilight's loneliness at Hearth's Warming has prompted her to make a visit to one of Canterlot's orphanages. She has a special request of the director, which the latter is happy to oblige. But which of the many foals will Twilight choose? Becoming a foster mother wasn't as easy as she'd thought...

This is a Christmas story, so I tried to make it very sweet and happy, without going over the top. I hope you enjoy! Also, the cover art is the best picture I could find of Twilight as a mother, and I thought it would fit the story well.
