Confession that went wrong (Edited)
Fluttershy leave your cottage all happy with a bouquet of flowers. Why? Fluttershy was thinking of her future coltfriend. She was identical to the Big Macintosh because they were silent and talk little, and though they didn’t talk and spend so much time together, they seemed to have a chemistry between them that must have worked. Fluttershy could feel it in her heart. Whenever, Fluttershy was near the stallion, she felt happy. Although Fluttershy never had a coltfriend because she always preferred animals. Fluttershy couldn’t deny those feelings that she felt, and today, she was going to confess to the Big Macintosh what she felt.
Arriving at Sweet Apple Acres, Fluttershy went looking for Big Macintosh. But she didn’t think where he could be, so Fluttershy decided to ask Applejack. Fluttershy saw Applejack kicking an apple tree. But before, Fluttershy hid the bouquet behind her mane, so that Applejack wouldn’t ask why she had flowers.
“Oh, hello, Applejack...” Fluttershy asked, blushing, “H-Have you seen B-Bic Macintosh?”
“Hiya, Fluttershy!” Applejack glanced in her direction, and, seeing Fluttershy, answered, “Sure did. He left a while ago.”
Fluttershy smiled, softly, “Thanks for telling me.”
Fluttershy decided to walk Ponyville. But as she was walking, she thought of something. She... hadn’t asked exactly where Big Mac was... Fluttershy turned, hesitating. Applejack had already returned to kicking an apple tree, and... Fluttershy figured it best not to disturb her.
I think it’s best to not disturb her again. I don’t if i can handle myself...
Fluttershy started searching and looking around for Ponyville for Big Macintosh. But she didn’t see him anywhere. Fluttershy wanted to ask somepony, but she feared that it would interrupt what the pony had been doing. She looked around to see if anypony could help. Maybe he was rehearsing for a song to perform in the Pony Tones group. Fluttershy was still looking around, but didn’t know where Big Macintosh was. She was starting to get worried. What if he left Ponyville? If so, where would he have gone? She didn’t know all the places of Equestria. Fluttershy decided to ask somepony. but as much as she wanted to do it herself, Fluttershy wanted to know if anypony saw Big Macintosh.
A yellow mare with orange mane and carrot Cutie Mark passed Fluttershy. Fluttershy decided to go to the mare to ask. “Excuse me,” the mare stopped walking on the street and looked at Fluttershy. The road smelled good. Around, other ponies walked. “Do you know where Big Macintosh is?”
The mare smiled. “Yes. I know.”
Fluttershy smiled back. “Really? Where did you see him?”
“Straight down here,” the mare gestured, “and to the left.”
Fluttershy fought to contain a smile, “Really? Where did he go?”
“Yes. I believe he went to the park. ”
“Thanks. Well, I’m going. Bye.” Fluttershy walked again and now intended to go to the park.
Arriving at the park, Fluttershy took the bouquet from behind her mane, took a deep breath, and went inside Through the gates to start looking for Big Macintosh. She was excited and anxious at the same time. But she didn’t see the stallion anywhere. Fluttershy started to look around and found him sitting on a bench. Fluttershy, this time, couldn’t hide her smile. She got up, ready to move toward him. She stopped in her tracks as soon as she saw the purple-maned unicorn, with a cupcake cutie-mark. And she was a mare.
The mare squealed, leaping into Big Mac’s hooves. They hugged tight, and Fluttershy couldn’t help but notice that the stallion was smiling. Genuinely.
As they left the hug, the mare looked at Big Macintosh and said, “I love you, Bic Macintosh.”
“I love you too, Sugar Belle,” said Big Macintosh.
Fluttershy felt like crying over the words Big Macintosh said to Sugar Belle. Worse, she recognized the mare. It was the same mare from Starlight Glimmer’s village who made cupcakes. Fluttershy pressed a hoof to her mouth, unable to tear her eyes away. “I love you?” Had they really said it? She didn’t know what to do. Should she run or should she stand watching?
Big Macintosh and Sugar Belle heard the sound of running footsteps and saw Fluttershy running away from the park. They were confused and worried. What happened to Fluttershy? Was she all right?
Fluttershy rushed over to the couch. The animals looked worriedly at the yellow pegasus who was crying in the couch.
Suddenly, a white glow appeared next to Fluttershy and then faded, who appeared was Discord. Discord looked worried at Fluttershy.
“Fluttershy, what happened?” asked Discord.
Fluttershy till had tears in her eyes and her cheeks were wet. “Discord, something very bad has happened.”
Discord got angry, but also worried, he made a sword appear. “What happened? Has anypony hurt you? Has it humiliated you? Has anypony harassing you?”
“I-t’s nothing l-like that, Discord,” replied Fluttershy stammering.
“So what is it, Fluttershy?” asked Discord no longer annoyed.
“It’s Big Macintosh.”
“What about him?”
“You know I have a crush on it, right?” asked Fluttershy.
Discord tried to not be jealous. “Yes. I know.”
“It’s just that I intended to confess to him that I love him,” Fluttershy replied, “and i would ask him if he wanted to be my coltfriend.”
Discord was surprised about it. Did Fluttershy date Big Macintosh now? “And you did it? Now are you two dating?”
“N-no,” answered Fluttershy.
Discord was happy. “What? But how not? Couldn’t you confess? He didn’t accept?”
“No. Worse,” Fluttershy replied. “He already had a marefriend!”
Fluttershy cried again, but wept in Discord’s lap in the couch. Discord stroked Fluttershy’s mane. Fluttershy’s mane was very soft, and the tears of the pegasus wet her cheeks.
“There, there, Fluttershy,” said Discord, before popping a candy bar. “I’m here for you.”
“Why, Discord? Why did he have to have a marefriend when I intended to confess to him? He never liked me? What now, Discord? What I do? The only stallion that I liked set me aside. Who would want to date me out Big Macintosh?” asked Fluttershy.
To Fluttershy’s surprise, Discord was still smiling. “Fluttershy, you aren’t alone. You have somepony besides your friends who likes you.”
Fluttershy looked at Discord curiously. “Really? Who? Is it somepony I know?”
“Yes, Fluttershy. It’s somepony you know,” answered Discord, smiling even more. Discord realized it still had some tears in Fluttershy’s eyes. Smiling, he wiped Fluttershy’s tears with one paw.
Fluttershy smiled at what her friend did, before becoming curious again. “So, Discord? Who is this pony who likes me?”
“He’s not a pony, Fluttershy,” answered Discord. “It’s a creature.”
Fluttershy didn’t imagine a creature would like her. “Who?”
“Well, he is a Draconequus and is the Lord of chaos,” answered Discord.
Fluttershy was surprised. She knew who was Draconequus and the lord of chaos. She looked at Discord.
Discord smiled even more. “That’s right, Fluttershy. It’s me. I’ve been in love with you since we became friends after my reformation,” he made a bouquet of flowers appear and offered it to Fluttershy. “Will you date me?”
Fluttershy seemed surprised by what Discord said. But should she accept? Fluttershy has always had a crush on Big Macintosh, but upon learning that the stallion already had a friend, his heart broke and now Discord confesses that he has a crush on her. She didn't know if she should accept. Although Big Macintosh was already dating, she still liked him. What was her problem? Why didn't she accept it? Was she jealous? Or was it something else?
Discord realized that Fluttershy didn’t answer his question, but he decided to ask again. “So? You accept?”
Fluttershy looked back at the bouquet. Fluttershy wanted to tell the truth that she didn’t want to because The pegasus wasn’t emotionally ready, but at the same time it didn’t want to see a sad and heartbroken Discord. She made her decision.
“I'm sorry, Discord. But I can’t accept it,” answered Fluttershy.
Discord was surprised. Why didn't Fluttershy accept it? Didn't she want him? “But why not?”
“I’m not ready for that, Discord,” replied Fluttershy. “I’ll have to get over what happened.”
“But I can help you get over it, Fluttershy,” said Discord.
Fluttershy looked a little surprised. “Really?"
"Really, Fluttershy," replied Discord.
Fluttershy smiled and went to hug Discord. “Thank you, Discord.”
Discord returned the hug. “You’re welcome, Fluttershy. I’ll always be here for you.”
Discord knew that Fluttershy wouldn’t agree to date him, although he was sad about it and also that Fluttershy already had a crush on the Big Macintosh, he was grateful that the stallion already had a marefriend, because if Big Macintosh didn’t, he would have accepted to date Fluttershy and Discord would be saddened, angry, jealous of the red stallion for stealing his Fluttershy.
But one thing he hoped was that when Fluttershy had gotten over it, she would agree to date him. As much as Discord hated to wait, he knew it would have to have patience for Fluttershy to be his marefriend.
