A demon possessing Big Macintosh has killed the Cutie Mark Crusaders, stolen their souls, and left to the depths of Tartarus. But not permanently. A crack team is assembled to enter Tartarus on a rescue mission. Princess Luna, Shining Armor, Spitfire, Zecora, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity are chosen for this mission. When they enter, they will assume human form in order to utilize weapons that will protect them through the 9 Circles of Tartarus.

Inspired by My Little Mages, Dante's Inferno, Roguelikes (eg Pokemon Mystery Dungeon), and my desire for an alternate ending to Sweet Apple Massacre- this is my recreation of Soul Harvest, without the Cupcakes aspect. Happy ending. Dashfire, Rarijack, Twiluna- I'm doing the shipping anyways, as slow build-ups.
