Chapters Prolouge
Shock, sadness, anger, more emotions I couldn't handle all at once. Tears streaming down my face to the point it burnt like a wildfire. A sight that would scar me for the rest of my life.
Right, I should tell you the beginning before you all get confused...
It was a hot summer night and my throat was as dry as a desert. So I went downstairs to grab a cup of water to heal my throat of the pain. But I didn't know what would happen when I turned the corner. I witnessed my parents get into an argument that elevated to something serious. They were screaming at each other back and forth, but I could figure out one thing. My mom retorted back about something about my dad sleeping with another woman.
Of course, young little me wouldn't understand what that meant until I figure it out later in life. But what happened next made me rethink what the man my dad was. I gasped as I saw him slap my mom across the face, sending her slamming into the counter behind her.
'Why would dad slap mom?!' I thought as I rushed back to my room, trying not to bawl out into tears on the way up the stairs. I saw my room as I crept up the last step, quickly rushing to the room quietly. As I closed the door and locked it, I couldn't help but start bawling into tears as I slowly crept to my bed and fall face-first into my pillow.
I couldn't care less about what happened next, 'Why is this happening?' I thought as I pulled the covers over my small and cold body. I looked to my right as I saw the Princess Luna plushie from the show My Little Pony. I grabbed the stuffed toy and wrapped both of my arms around it, embracing it in a tight hug. It was the only thing that would keep me safe when my mom and dad would fight.
"I wish I was far away from here..." I said to myself in a whisper. "I was far away from here, far from my dad," I asked myself as tears start to roll down my puffed out cheeks. I was about to fall asleep when I barely heard my doorknob jiggle. I had extensive hearing loss due to 36 ear infections about a year ago, that's when my mom and dad moved into separate rooms in our house. I quickly hid my Luna plushie so no one would see it, afraid that they'll laugh at me for having a toy like it.
I would always be made fun at school for liking a 'girly show'. Being bullied by 5th graders for it became a routine every day at recess, I would always ask the teacher for help, but they didn't care. I became emotionless at school, refusing to talk to anyone but my friends. Coming home I would put on a happy smile, but underneath it I was depressed. I was broken out of thought when the door was unlocked and opened by someone, I quickly made it look like I was sleeping. I could barely hear the person's footsteps as it walked towards my bed and kneel next to it.
"Are you ok kid?" It asked, sounding muffled as always. But I could tell it was male, but it sounded with authority and with worry. I slowly turned over to look at him to see what he looked like. My eyes widen in surprise as who this person was.
He wore a dark blue outfit with a receiver strapped to its chest, a belt holding multiple things. Including a gun, 'wait... a gun?!?' I screamed in my head as I figured out who this person was. It was a police officer as he looks at me with a worried expression plastered across his face. He noticed my frightened reaction and stepped back.
"I'm sorry for startling you, but I heard from your mom that you ran up her as you saw her get hit, right?" He questioned softly. He sounded more clearly now as I looked at him, it was the only way I could hear someone properly. I slowly nodded as I uncovered myself from my sheets.
"Yea..." I said quietly.
"What's your name son?" he questioned.
"My na... name is Michael Bunker," I answered as I knew the authority of the officer in front of me. I shifted uncomfortably on my bed and this didnt go unnoticed by the officer.
"I see that you're uncomfortable at the moment," he asked.
I nodded my head, not wanting to continue the confrontation. But I looked up at him with tears strolling down my cheeks, as the official notice this, he couldn't help but hug me.
"I know that you probably have a lot going through your head at the moment, but I came up here to let you know it's going to be alright." He explained. "But your mom is going to be going away for a while."
The world I've known for so long had just shattered. 'They're sending mom away! But it was dad that slapped mom, not her!' I raced through my thoughts. The dad I knew is now a person that I never want to see again. I pushed out of the officer's grasp, grabbing the Luna plushie and rushed out the door. I wanted to have something to keep me safe if things went south.
I couldn't hear the officer yelling for me to come back, but I knew he was. I didnt want to see him or my dad, I wanted to see my mom, but her being sent away for something I could never understand. I rushed down the stairs to the front door and swung it open, rushing outside to see my mom. I saw her in the back of a police car with a tear-stained face. She saw me on the porch of my house and started to bawl.
I ran as fast as my little legs can carry me towards the police car, but it would all be in vain as I was grabbed by someone. I look behind me to see the man I didnt want to see right now, my dad.
"Come on now, let's get back to your room," he commanded as I was being dragged back to the house. I thrashed around, trying to get away from the monster my dad had become.
"Let go of me!" I screamed as a thought came to my head. I looked to my dad's arm and big on it as hard as I could. I knew it would probably be something I would regret for the rest of my life, but I didnt care, I wanted to get as far away from my father. He screamed as he let go of me and held his arm in pain.
I saw my chance to run to the police car and try to get my mom free, but it was too late...
I looked on as the police car pulled away from the house and onto the street, for me to never see again, but I didnt care. I picked up the Luna plushie that fell out of my grasp and ran as far as my legs could carry me, I couldn't care less of what would happen to my dad, all I cared about it getting my mom back. I saw the police car pulling away from me as it increased its speed down the road.
"No!" I yelled, putting more energy and force into my little legs and pushed onward. I could feel my legs giving out under me, it burnt like hell but that wouldn't stop me. I managed to get a little closer to the vehicle, I almost got to the window of the car, but my legs gave out before I could grab ahold. I felt pain as I landed on my shoulder onto the hard concrete sidewalk, I held in a scream as I grunted to get a look at where I was.
I look as the police car wasn't in sight, I started to panic. "Where's the car? Where am I?" I panicked as I picked up the stuffed Luna plushie. I held it in a tight hug as I painfully got back up into a standing position. I slowly walked around for a bit, but I realized that I would have to go back to the house to grab clothes and food if I wanted to survive. But I didnt want to go back to that house, not while my dad is at the house.
I walked for what seemed like hours until I saw a park next to a forest. 'Wait, I don't remember a forest near the park?' I thought. Of course, dumb little me, I decide to enter the unknown first cause I had nothing better to do. As I entered the dark forest, I start to reflect on what to do. I don't want to go back to my house, I don't want to see my dad ever again.
I want to save my mom, but what can I do? I cant walk into a police station and beg for them to release my mom, they would send me back to the house. I then started to notice that the forest colors were becoming brighter, more like a cartoon. I decided to hold my Luna plushie closer to me, getting scared at the sudden changes to the forest. It even seemed thicker than it was when I entered.
"Why does everything look like I'm in a cartoon?" I said to myself. I looked behind me to see if the regular forest was behind me, but it wasn't, it was the same cartoon colored forest I've been walking through. I then got lost on what I was talking about, I couldn't remember what happened a few minutes ago. "What was I talking about?" I asked myself.
I was walking through that forest for what seemed like hours until I came across a clearing into a big and open field. I gaped in aw at the sight of the field in front of me. Then I started to panic a little as to my knowledge.
"I don't think I'm in Texas anymore..."

The prologue of this story is true, this is a part of my past and it was hard to bring it back up from the depths of my mind. The only things that weren't true were the Princess Luna plushie(The show wasn't made yet), me running away from home, and biting my dad. I was too traumatized to think properly, I fell into despair.
Despite my past, I still love my dad, but I can't see him as the man I once knew. I live with my mom now and I get to see my dad every other weekend. Despite this gloomy past, I held it in, I hope you enjoy this little story that could become something big. Catch you later!
Chapter 1
It felt like I was walking for an hour when I found a path next to the forest edge. I eventually figured the name out when I walked past a rotten sign, I barely made out the words, "Beware Of The Everfree Forest". The people here call it the Everfree Forest, and I can sorta understand why it's a forest that seems to go on forever.
I was taking in the colorful surroundings rather well, I felt like I was in a dream I would never want to wake up from, but I couldn't help but have a feeling like I knew the forest and area around me. It felt so familiar, but I couldn't figure it out. I knew it was at the tip of my tongue, but I let it go for me to figure out later on.
The path seemed to go on forever as I traversed it but I did see a little house from the distance. At first, it looked tiny but as I got closer, I had a better look at it. It seemed to be built for a small family but it looked like a medieval house. I began to think when I walked out of the forest's edge. 'It's possible that I possibly traveled back in time.'
But it wouldn't explain why everything looks like a cartoon. I took a look at the plushie I was holding, feeling a sense of familiarity from it, seeming like I forgot who it was. I decided to keep the small toy with me as some protection, seemingly the only thing I brought with me.
I made it to the small cottage to see the door almost my height. I knocked on the small door expecting a response from it, but I got none. "It seems like nobody is home..." I said to myself.
I was about to head back down on the path to civilization, I hope. But I stopped as I heard a muffled sound. I kept looking around till I heard the direction my damaged ears could lock onto. It was the most beautiful melody I've ever heard, full of happiness and courage. I was pulled towards its through the bushes.
I pushed through the bushes to find the people, excited to find someone for help. I got out of the bushes and saw... ponies?
'I'm hallucinating, right?' I questioned myself. I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming, nothing happened.
Crapbaskets...
Specifically, I was looking at a yellow pegasus with a long-curly pink mane and tail, and with the most wonderful cyan eyes I've ever seen... well seen since I lost my memory.
Dammit...
I saw the pegasus hovering in the air while humming to the song the birds were singing but one bird sounded off. It seemed like the pegasus heard as well as she... spoke to the bird in... ENGLISH!?!
"oh my... um... stop please, everyone." the pegasus said as she slowly flew up to a blue jay, "um excuse me, sir... I mean no offense but your rhythm is just a teeny bit off. Now follow me please, a one, a two, a one two three."
"um... hello?" I said nervously coming out of the bushes. I heard a gasp from the pegasus with the birds flying away. I stood there with the last of my energy. I was tired, hungry, thirst, and most of all, I need to go to the bathroom. She gasps at my dirty appearance and is curious at my structure.
"I'm sorry for scaring your birds away, I'm um... just lost." why the hell am I nervous all a sudden, I know I'm talking a colorful pegasus cartoon-like pony but still, I shouldn't be nervous.
"Oh my... are you ok?" she said to me as she looked at my appearance with worry.
"No... no, I'm not ok..." I said deadpanned. I lost my memory, I'm stuck in a cartoon world full of ponies and I'm sure there are no other humans around. So no, I'm not alright.
I started to feel wobbly all a sudden, my tiredness and all the other things that are making me feel like crap had started to catch up to me as I fell forwards onto the... something soft and fuzzy. This doesn't seem right, I've should've hit the dirt and grass that was below me. I slowly look up and see I landed on the pegasus's back, she looked at me with a motherly smile and hummed a soothing song.

And I fell almost fell asleep while snuggling with the pony plushy against the pegasus. I felt nice against the pegasus's fur, but I still need to ask a simple question.
"What's your name?" I asked sleepily, my eyes feeling heavier by the second. The pegasus gave me a motherly smile and answered.
"My name is Fluttershy." She said calmly. Now I knew, snuggling closer to Fluttershy and she draped a wing over me to keep me warm till I fell asleep. I let out a big yawn, falling into a peaceful sleep, I felt safe.
This pegasus ain't so bad.
The song still played in my mind as I was floating in a dark void but that didnt scare me. The warm touch kept me safe until it started to get cold.
The fuck?
The scenery started to change, I was no longer floating endlessly through a void, I was now standing on an endless plain of grey dust with the pony plushie in hand. I looked into the sky above me to find it filled with stars I couldn't see from the earth... wait...
I look around and to my amazement, the bloody earth was above me...
Holy shit! I'm on the damn moon!
I held my breath and pinched my nose with my free hand and started to run around in a panic, looking hopefully for some pocket of air but I was pointless. I then tripped on a rock I didn't see ahead of me and face planted hard onto the dusty moon surface, it's when I realized... I could breathe.
"oh my god, I can breathe on the moon!" I said to myself, quickly finding out there was sound in a none atmosphere environment.
"Because you're dreaming creature..." said a chilling voice behind me...
I turn around a see a misty fog full of small twinkling stars. I was caught in its wonderment that I didn't see it take form until I noticed it's slitted eyes appear in the dark mist. It took a form of a tall and very dark pegasus with a horn. It's long physics-defying mane and tail moving in a wind like motion in the... non-atmosphere moon. But it's characteristics that scared me was its slitted cyan eyes and wicked fanged smile.
"Hello creature, what's your name?" She said while slowly trotting to me.
I took a step back in fear and held the plushie closer to me, hoping It would have some sort of protection. All it did was catch the attention of the dark pony. I then noticed the plushie was enveloped in a dark blue form of energy as it was pulled from my grasp.
"N... no! Give it back!" I shouted as I rushed towards it, but was held back the same energy the unicorn was emitting. She gave me a wicked smile and looked back at the plushie with a quizzical look.
"How do you have a plushie version of me, creature?" She asked me with a hint of venom in her voice.
"She looks nothing like you, now give it back!" I continued to struggle, sweat started to run down my face. The plushie was the only item I had and I didn't want to lose it, and I think the unicorn or pegasus got the idea.
"Oh but I am this plushie, I'm just in a different form currently." She explained. This just confused me...
Form, the hell does she mean?
"If you won't tell me your name, I guess I'll have to invade your mind for answers," she said as she brought me closer to her with her energy.
'I NEED AN ADULT!!' I screamed in my head as I now tried to run the other direction, but it was pointless. I was eventually faced to muzzle with the pony and I swallowed a large lump in my throat as I looked onto the ponies slitted eyes.
"Don't be so scared, it won't hurt." She said in a menacing tone, "Much"
She tilted her horn and placed it on my head and emitted a surge of energy into my brain. I thrashed around as my head started to feel like it was splitting open like a popped tire. Then my surroundings changed as the pain seized. I was now standing in what seems like a hallway of doors that went to go on forever.
"Where am I?" I questioned aloud, but it seemed like no one heard.
"Well we're in your memories, Michael..." I heard the dark ponies voice again and it sent chills down my spine.
"Wha... how did you?!" I looked around frantically but she was nowhere in sight.
"I'm currently in your mind human, but it seems your memories are locked away?" She said confused. I then saw the mist arrive in front of me and took the form of the pony again, but she seemed more frustrated. “Now tell me why!”
I fell backwards as she shout with frustration. “I... I don’t know miss, I just arrived here. I don’t even know how I got here!” As I was on the verg of tears. All the confusion and lonely ness finally caught up to me as I started to sob on the ground.
“Doesn’t matter, I can simply force my way through the doors. Then I’ll know what to do with you when the time comes.” She explained as she spotted a door that had been locked away and from its condition, It’s brand new.
She lit her horn and the lock’s seemly broke apart. This sent a sense of pain through my head as the pony walked in, and bring me along.

Chapter 2
Chapter 2
The scenery changed from a bright hallway of doors to a black void. I couldn't see a damn thing, I didn't even know where the mind invading horse went. I was all quiet as I float through the mass emptiness until I felt solid ground touch my feet.
I looked down below me to see a wooden flooring and quickly expanding below me. I started to look around and I seemed to have ended up in a living room, but something felt familiar.
"Who was that John!?"
I heard a women scream at what I'm guessing to be another man and she sounded pissed off. I moved around a corner to see... me!? I saw myself in the same clothing I was wearing and I was looking past a corner to where the screaming came from.
"Back off Julie!" I heard a man retort. I went to go touch my dream self to only pass through me. Dear god that sounds so weird.
"I see you found out you cannot interact with anything." I heard the familiar voice say as I saw the mist from again in front of me.
"Who are you and why are you doing this?!" I shouted at her, not only was she invading memories that had been locked away, but she didn't give a damn of what would happen to me.
"I guess I haven't told you, I am Nightmare Moon, rightful leader to Equestria before I was taken from me." She said with venom trailed in her voice. "As for why I'm doing this Michael, it's because your a new creature and I need to make sure you won't stop me from taking back Equestria." She said why chuckling.
SLAP!
Both I and Nightmare Moon were surprised to hear the noise, as for my dream self. He was holding back tears as he ran up the stairs as quietly as he could and slamming the door. What I didn't expect was for Nightmare Moon to follow my crying self up the stairs and into my room.
I went to follow her but I heard police sirens outside the front door. I saw a tall man walk to the door and opened it, he was greeted with 3 police officers at the door questioning him.
"What seems to be the problem, sir." One of the officers asked.
"I found out my wife was sleeping with another man and she tried to threaten me with a knife if I came any closer." the man explained. I didn't know the full details but I knew he was lying. But I was broken out of thought when I heard crying coming from upstairs.
"Is that your son sir?" A slimmer officer asked.
"Yes."
"Mind if I go talk to him?" He asked and the man nodded. I saw the officer pass the man which I'm guessing was John, up to the stairs. I decided that I didn't want to see what happens next and wisely followed the officer to my room.
Nightmare moon followed 'Michael' up to his room and saw him curling up with the pony plushie. This was somehow gotten to Nightmare moon, almost causing the dark pony to cry until she heard the doorknob click. She had gotten out of the way to see the event happen, but then she saw 'Michael' hid the plushie.
"Why would he hide the plushie, do others, not like it?" Nightmare Moon questioned herself as she watches an officer walk in and tried to comfort the crying boy.
'What's gotten the colt crying?' a voice said in Nightmare Moon's mind.
'Shut up Luna, this isn't why we're here.'
"I'm sorry, but your mom will be going away." the officer said. This gotten had Nightmare Moon's attention as 'Michael' had sprung up the bed, grabbed the pony plushie and ran past the shouting officer.
"Oh no..." The officer went to chase the boy while Nightmare Moon stood in shock. I arrived in the room and looked at the dark pony, confused at why she was shocked.
"What just happened?" I asked. But I was picked up in the magic and was pulled close to the pony, what startled me was that a second voice started talking.
"Why did you run away?" Luna asked.
"What do you mean?" I said, not sure what she meant, "I don't remember running away and why do I hear a second voice?."
'That must explain why the boy doesn't remember a single thing, he's got amnesia.' Nightmare Moon explained to herself and Luna.
"By the way, who was that?" I questioned but the room we were in had started to vanish.
"Looks like our time is up, it's almost time to conquer Equestria." Nightmare Moon said. "We'll see you soon, Michael."
And with that, the dark pony disappeared and I was once again in a dark and empty void.
What does she mean 'We'll see you soon?'
I awoke with a jolt as I sprung up from the... comfy couch I was laying on. I looked around to see I was in a living room that looked like the ones from medieval books. I went to get up off the couch but a small fluffy white rabbit jumped onto my chest and look into my eyes. I weirdest thing was this rabbit was inspecting me.
He then looked me dead in the eyes with a glare, sending uncertainty through me. After that, the rabbit nodded and got off my chest and hopped into another room.
I think that was the weirdest thing I've seen so far, I sighed and got off the couch to investigate the room but there was one small problem.
I was naked...
Holy shit I was naked, I panicked as I looked around for my clothes, I looked about everywhere but I couldn't seem to find them.
"Oh, you awake!" I heard a familiar voice say. I turn my head around to see Fluttershy looking at me with a happy smile plastered across her face.
"Um... hello." I said nervously, "Do you happen to have my um... clothes."
Fluttershy than began to blush as she realized what I meant. "Well they're drying right now, they should be done soon. Oh, and I made you some food!" Fluttershy explained as she went into a room which I presume was the kitchen. I looked more around my surroundings and realized there were a lot of cages for animals.
I went to put the blanket around my waist so then I wouldn't have to show my um... parts in front of the nice pony. I then felt something tap my foot as I looked down to see the rabbit again with a smile and he reached out with his arms. I then realized that he wanted to be picked up and so I did.
"I see that you met Angel," Fluttershy said. I turned around with a smile appearing on my cheeks as I looked towards the pegasus with a basket full of different foods.
I almost drooled at the sight of so many different foods, it consisted of bread, fruits, vegetables, apples, and... hay? Well, that last one made sense because this place is full of ponies. I put Angel down and walked to Fluttershy and grabbed the basket full of food. "Thank you, Miss Fluttershy."
"Your welcome... um."
"Michael, my name is Michael miss," I told her my name so then I would be called something different. I don't want a name like Comet or anything else the ponies could call me.
"Well, your welcome Michael." Fluttershy finished as she came closer to me and... hugged me. "You were so worn out when I found you, it looked like you haven't slept and ate in days."
"I guess you could say that..." I whispered and sat down on the comfortable couch. I decided that I needed some carbs, so I went for the bread first. I picked up the golden brown loaf and took a small bite and it was the best decision I've made so far, the bread tasted amazing! I consumed the bread so fast that it surprised Fluttershy.
"It looks like your hungry."
"Yup!" I said with a mouthful full of an apple. I realized I did it rudely, so I swallowed what apple I had in my mouth and said those words again with an apology.
"Oh... you don't need to apologize, you were so excited."
"I know, but I still shouldn't have," I said while taking another bite out of the apple. "So... where am I exactly?"
"Well... you're in Equestria, just outside of Ponyville," Fluttershy explained to the best of her knowledge.
"Ponyville? And why were you making birds sing earlier?" I questioned while holding in a laugh from the ridiculous name.
"Well right now we're about to hold the Summer Sun Celebration and I've been put in charge of the music!" Fluttershy said with delight.
"Well, in my opinion, your music sounds wonderful!" I exclaimed with a thumbs up.
"Oh thank you..." Fluttershy said a bit quiet while she tried to hide her blush behind her mane.
"Anyway, when is it being held," I asked while I took a bite out of a carrot. I notice Angle got on the couch and stared at the carrot. I looked towards the vegetable in my hand and smiled. "Here you go fella," I said while I gave the fluffy white rabbit the rest of my carrot.
"That was very nice of you," Fluttershy said, finished hiding behind her mane. "Also, the Summer Sun Celebration is being held tonight. Want to come?" Fluttershy offered. I smiled and gave the pegasus a toothy grin while giving her a thumbs up.
"Count me in."
"Excellent! We'll leave in a little bit for the town hall." Fluttershy exclaimed while she went to get prepared. I just sat on the couch, alone with Angel...
"Can I have my clothes back?"
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.
