A Christmas Miracle

Four months has passed for Spike and Rainbow Dash, they were proud parents of their son Ruby, they even have their own place that's just next door.

It was the afternoon at the Sparkle residence and Velvet was looking after both her grandchildren while her son and his girlfriend were at work.

They had jobs while Spike worked at a game store, and Rainbow Dash worked at a sports goods store.

A smiling Flurry Heart was watching Ruby drink his bottle while their grandma was in the kitchen making lunch.

A few hours later, Spike and Rainbow Dash walked in the house smiling, "Hi uncle, auntie", the little girl greeted running up to them and giving them hugs.

They hugged her back, then the couple went up to their son and the athletic young woman picked him up, "Hey there Ruby", the baby hugged his mother with a smile.

"How was work sweetie?", Velvet asked her son smiling.

"It was ok, think you and dad can look after Ruby tonight, me and Dash got a date", his mother nodded not minding it.

"I'm gonna head to the kitchen to grab something to eat, you don't mind Mrs Velvet", the older woman shook her head no.

"Go ahead", the athlete then gave her son to her boyfriend and headed to the kitchen.

When she was out of earshot, "You gonna propose after the date", he nodded.

"Have the ring hidden".

Then she hugged him, "I'm so happy for you, and I know she'll say yes", he hugged her back with one arm thanking her, then headed to the couch to sit down.

Hour's later when it was dark, the athletic couple was home and ready to leave for their date, but what Rainbow Dash doesn't know is that this will be a date to remember.

They walked out their home, "So where you wanna go, choice is up to you", he told her smiling, but inwardly nervous.

"Maybe grab dinner at a burger joint", she noticed the raised eyebrow.

"Spike it's me, you know I don't do fancy...that's more like Rarity's kind of style", he nodded remembering that.

"Ok then, what about afterwards?"

She started thinking, "Don't know, we'll probably figure out what to do next after we eat", he nodded, they both walked out of their home and towards the car.

With Pinkie and the girls in their PJ'S having a sleep over at her place, they watched them drive off and know what Spike's gonna do after the date.

"I can't believe that he's gonna propose to her tonight, it would be nice to have Rainbow Dash as a sister", Twilight spoke up excitedly.

"I already have a wedding dress on hold back at my job", Rarity said with a gitty expression, she even hopes one day that Thunderlane would propose to her after a romantic dinner.

"I hope Flash will propose to me one day", Sunset spoke up smiling at the thought.

"Me too sugarcube, ah wouldn't mind one day being Caramel's wife", Applejack said blushing and smiling.

"M-Me too, I hope Sandalwood would ask me to marry him one day", Fluttershy spoke barley above a whisper.

Pinkie beamed, "I don't mind being Zephy's wife and sister to you", she hugged her shy friend tightly and close, then let her go.

"I won't mind if Micro proposed to me one day", they heard Twilight say smiling.

"Knowing you two, you both would probably have some sort of science themed wedding", Sunset said as she and the rest of the girls laughed.

She gave them deadpan looks, "Oh ha ha ha", Twilight laughed sarcastically.

Then looked up thinking, "Hmmm, you know a science themed wedding doesn't sound half bad", then she decided to have one when the time comes for her boyfriend to propose to her.

Later with Spike and Rainbow Dash, they finished eating dinner and walked out of the restaurant, "Where do you wanna go now?".

She started thinking, "We can go play a game of laser tag at the Arcade", he smiled and nodded as they started heading towards the car.

Soon afterwards they walked in the Laser Tag Arcade, they saw kid's, adults and teens playing game's and having fun.

Spike took a small glace at his girlfriend, "Oh Dash, you're going to remember this night always", he thought to himself smiling, then walked up to the counter.

After awhile they were set and had wrist band tickets and ten dollars worth of game tokens, suddenly they heard on a intercom, "Attention, the next laser tag is in ten minutes".

"Wanna play a few game's to pass the time", she nodded, then they headed towards a Metal Slug game.

After awhile the laser tag game started and they were waiting in line with everyone else, then two sets of doors opened, one was a group of people exiting and the other for the one's waiting.

Everyone sat down on the benches while the doors closed, the instructor told everyone how to put the laser tag vest on, there were two sets of team, Red and Blue.

"Let's be on the same team big guy", Dash told her boyfriend as he nodded, then he grabbed a Red team vest and started putting it on.

Back with the girls at Pinkies place, "So what do you wanna do now?"

"Oh oh oh, let's play a game like Never have I ever holding ten fingers up, and if we did the things we say, we put a finger down", that got them thinking and agree one by one.

"Ok then, who goes first", everyone looked at each other while holding their hands out.

"Ugh, I hope I don't catch Sweetie Belle doing that with her boyfriend", Rarity said in disgust at the thought.

Later back with Spike and Rainbow Dash, they were heading towards the car, when they reached it, the young athletic man turned to his girlfriend deciding it's time.

"Hey Dash, I just wanna say I love you with all my heart, I don't know what to do without you in my life and...I'm happy that we have a baby together".

She turned to him giving him a kiss with a smile, "Me to big guy, I'm happy with you in my life and that we have a son", then her eyes widen when he grabbed her hand and pulled out a small box.

"Spike", she was shocked seeing him open it and get on one knee, she looked around seeing people watching with smiles.

"Rainbow Dash, will you marry me", he was proposing.

She didn't know what to say, this was a big step in life for them both, tears broke through and she quickly ripped them away.

"Y-Yes, I'll marry you", he got up putting the ring on her finger and giving her a kiss, they hugged and people were clapping for the two.

"I love you Dash".

"Love you too Spike", then they got in the car so they can go home.

When they walked in their home, the young athletic woman was looking at the ring, "I can't believe we're engaged", she said as he nodded.

"I know it was the right thing to do since we have a son", he kissed her cheek.

Seconds later, "So what do you wanna do before going to bed", his newly fiancee started thinking.

Then turned to her fiance with bedroom eye and a smirk, "Down to fuck", he grinned and nodded, then they headed upstairs.

They walked in there bedroom and started making out, then broke it and started undressing each other, "Wait", he said before going through his drawer.

He pulled out a condom and opened it, "Still can't believe that Pinkie has condoms and birth control pills stashed all over the city incase of emergencies".
