Chapters Chapter 1 A first for everything
A unicorn colt with a yellow coat and silver mane slowly walked through the streets of Ponyville. His face held no expression only a blank stare. He passed many other mares and stallions by. Staying only on the path he had been told to take. On his back he carried a small saddlebag; it was filled with various items. Items that could not be seen for the bag was closed. His walked seemed long but to him it was short. Soon he reached the end of his walk and found himself at the doors to the school of friendship; gently he pushed opened the doors and walked inside. The hallways were empty not a sound could be heard. The only thing that could be heard was the sound of every step he took. He walked a little ways in; looking around he saw six busts. He recognized them as the pillars of Equestria. But, he did not care for them and continued walking. He soon found himself walking by himself down one of the many hallways.
As he walked down the hallway he began to hear voices. Voices that were quiet at first; but as he walked further and further down the hallway. The voices got louder and louder; he found himself standing in front of two double doors. The voices were really loud now; he stood still in front of them. He stared forward at the doors hearing the voices coming from behind them. He stood still for a few more minutes until he continued down the hallway. The further he walked away from the doors; the quieter the voices got. He liked the sound of silence it allowed him to think. It allowed him to focus on his job. It allowed him to just be him. As he walked down the halls; he found himself at the entrance to a large library. He smiled and walked inside; finding himself a book to read and then finding a table for him to sit down at. Once at a table he placed the book down in front of him. Before he used his magic to open his saddlebag. He then took out a notebook and placed beside the book. He opened the notebook to the middle pages; before using his magic to take out some pencils and erasers. He began to draw in the notebook.
As he drew time moved on and eventually a bell rang out. He ignored the bell and continued to draw in his book. Occasionally he would look over at the book he had picked up. Before he would look back at the book he was drawing in. he drew and drew through two more bells rang. He then closed the book he was drawing in. before he shelved the book he had taken and put it back. He could hear others entering the library. Meaning it was time for him to leave and go back to his parents. He exited the library and walked back out into the halls. He walked slowly past everyone who was out in the halls. He didn't care much for crowds or talking to any creature. He mainly just kept to himself not wanting to bother others. And, also not wanting to be bothered by others. He stopped walking when he felt some-creature grab his mane and pull him backwards. Only to suddenly be slammed hard against the wall.
He looked forward seeing two colts about his age. Both of them were earth ponies; one was a dark green with a brown mane and tail. The other was light blue with matching mane and tail. He couldn't see the marks on their flanks. But, he did not care about either of the. He just wanted to leave and they were stopping him. He tried to walk past them but the green one shoved him back.
“Where do you think your going?” He asked.
“Home.” The colt answered.
The blue one spoke, “Nope, you can't leave.”
“Why?” He asked.
“Because you haven't payed the fine.” the green colt answered.
“Neither of you are cops.” The colt spoke it earned him a hard punch to the face.
“Shut it!” The blue colt snapped, “We know we ain't cops. But, this is our hallway; which means you need to pay a fine.”
The green colt stepped forward his horn glowed with magic, “So pay up or get trashed.” He finished with another step forward.
“Neither of you are part of this schools faculty,” The colt replied in his robotic like voice, “I do not need to pay. I am leaving,” He tried to walk away but the blue colt blocked him, “May I leave?” He asked.
“Not until you pay.” The blue colt answered.
“I am not gonna pay you.” The colt responded.
The green colts horn glowed brighter, “Oh,” he started, “You're gonna pay.”
Both of the had sinister looks on their faces until both of the were violently struck by something metallic. It made a loud metallic clank echo through the halls; followed by two loud thuds. Apparently the colt had used his magic to levitate a trophy behind them. He then used it to knock both of them out. He then put the trophy away before he looked at the two.
“I told you I wasn't paying.” He said.
“Hey!”
He looked in the direction of the voice, just in time to see a dragoness fly up and press him against the wall. He found it a little irritating but his face hid his emotions. But, he was already starting to dislike this school. He wondered why this school was recommended to him. Already, two students had tried to make him pay. Threatening bodily harm if he did not pay. And, now another student possibly saw the aftermath and assumed he had attacked them.
“I hate this school.” The colt said in a rather blunt voice.
The dragoness holding him glared at him, “And, I hate you. Wanna say anything else?” She growled.
“No.” The colt answered but that seemed to anger her more. He felt her grip on him tighten, “If you apply more pressure; you will cutoff my airway.” He finished.
The dragoness growled, “Who do you think you are? A smart-ass?” She snarled.
The colt answered, “No, I am a unicorn not a donkey. My name is Razor, Razor edge. What is yours?”
The question caught her off guard; she didn't know what to say. But, then she was suddenly kicked hard in the gut. She feel to her knees and groaned loudly as she held her stomach. The colt then walked over to his saddle bag. Only to be tacked by a gryphon and earth pony. He found another reason to hate the school. Every creature here was attack first and never ask questions. He caught sight of three more creatures, A yak, hippogriff, and a changeling. All of them were checking on the dragoness. He watched as the gryphon held him down. Growling a little as it kept him down.
“Don't you move!” The gryphon growled at him.
“I defended myself.” Razor spoke.
“You call attacking my friend defending yourself?!” The gryphon asked in anger.
Razor answered, “Yes, she assumed I attacked those two I knocked out. She applied pressure to my windpipe. Not enough to cut off my.”
“SHUT UP!” The gryphon growled in anger tired of him talking already. He didn't know what this colts problem was. But, he wasn't going to let the punk get away with hurting his friend.
Thankfully he didn't have to wait too long for one of the teacher to get there. Sandbar had run off to get one of them to handle the situation. He got off of the colt when Professor Rainbow dash walked up.
Rainbow dash spoke, “Okay, what's going on here?”
Smolder answered, “That little prick attacked me after he knocked Forrest green and Cool mint out.”
“Their parents are like mine. Not good at coming up with names.” Razor spoke it got him a glare from the two that were slowly regaining consciousness. Before anything else could be said Twilight and another mare quickly showed up.
“Rainbow!” Twilight shouted.
“Twilight!” Rainbow replied.
“Principal Twilight!” The six suddenly spoke
“Razor!” The mare beside her said as she walked up to him.
“What's going on?” Twilight asked.
By the time everything was explained to her. Razor had informed his social worker about what happened. She groaned a little bit in irritation and worry. Not only for him But, also his enrollment into the school. Twilight, she was stuck in between a rock and a very hard place. Her students had just met the schools new student. Not aware of his condition that she was just recently informed of. Taking in a deep breath; she prepared herself to explain to her students Razors condition.
“Everyone,” She began getting everyone's-aside from Razor's- attention, “The colt,” A small hint of worry entered her mind; knowing that she was probably about to ignite a very volatile situation, “His name is Razor edge,” she continued allowing everyone aside from Smolder to know his name, “He's going to be one of our new students.” She knew this was going to probably set everything off. So, before anyone could voice their disapproval to his enrollment. She brought one of her hooves up. Allowing her to keep everybody quiet, “I understand that your first impression of him wasn't exactly a good one.”
Smolder spoke up after that, “He just kicked me in the gut.”
Gallus was the next to speak, “And he attacked those two.” He finished.
Before anyone could say anything else; it was Razors' turn to speak, “I said I defended myself. They attacked me.” He spoke.
As Razors social worker began to talk with him. Twilight led the student's to the other side of the library. So, that she could possibly inform them about their new classmate.
“Alright,” She began as she looked at her students, “I can safely assume none of you like Razor at the moment?” She received a nod from all of them. It made her sigh out of despair. This would probably be harder than she thought, “Well, Smolder. I'm sorry that he hurt you and you have a right to be mad at him. But, understand this everyone; he didn't mean any of this.” She finished.
“Could have fooled me.” Cool mint replied getting the others to agree with his comment.
“Listen,” Twilight did her best to try and help them understand, “Razor has a mental condition known as Asperger's syndrome,” She continued as everyone looked to one another. Clearly confused by what she just said that he had, “It's a condition that is subtype of a autism spectrum disorder. He didn't mean to hurt anybody with what he said or did. He just speaks what's on his mind.”
It was then that Forrest green spoke “Then why did he hit me and Cool mint with the flag pole.” He finished still feeling a twinge of pain.
Twilight answered, “If you both attacked him like he claims. Then he had every right to defend himself.” She finished.
Cool mint spoke, “But we didn't,” He tried to defend, “We were only talking to him and then he said he hated the school.” He finished.
Razor spoke, “I said that because those who saved you attacked me.” The social worker quickly got him quiet.
Twilight was now more confused than ever before. One minute ago she was just talking to miss Quill; about enrolling Razor. Which included a lot of paper work; because he was a independent colt. Miss Quill had to explain to her that Razor had a job. Yes, a colt his age had a job of his own. She had asked who he worked for. The answer of self-employment surprised her. Why did all of this have to happen today.
“I know you're talking to them about me,” Razor suddenly spoke causing everyone to look towards him. His social worker trying her best to move him along, “They now know I have Asperger's; and they probably do not understand it.” The way he spoke was calm and contained. While the others felt it was more of an icy calm, “I don't think I'll make any friends in this school. Tomorrow I may make them hate me again,” He turned to leave the library as miss Quill tried to figure what to say to him, “I am used to it. It does not affect me anymore,” He turned to Twilight and the others, “Goodbye.” He finished as he and his parents began to walk towards the exit of the school.
The group was left in complete silence; they were left completely speechless. He was expecting to come back tomorrow; and he was expecting to make them hate him again. Sure, he did cause them to feel some anger towards him. But, they did not hate him. As he left each of them looked towards Twilight. Who looked at them with a concerned look.
“I know what I'm about to ask is going to be very difficult for each of you to do,” She began as she looked at her students, “But, can each of you give him a chance. He's had a very hard time at other schools,” She continued before walking towards the exit of the library. Before walking out she looked back towards her students, “Please......just give him a chance.” She finished before walking out of the library.
Her students were left to their own thoughts. Just a little while ago each of them were introduced to Razor. A colt with something called Asperger's syndrome. A colt that just attacked two fellow students; claiming that it was all in self defense. He even attacked Smolder; possibly also in self defense. All because he thought she was trying to choke him. All of them wondered if what he was said was true or not. After all they did just see the aftermath of what happened.
Razor didn't bother to look back at the group as he and the worker continued to walk out of the school. They remained silent as they began to walk through the streets of the town. The silence was broken when they began walking down the dirt road.
Razor spoke, “That could have gone better.” It was a rather blunt statement. It caused the social worker to sigh once more in irritation.
“Razor, this is the fifth school.” Miss Quill was quickly interrupted.
“Cool mint and Forrest green are at fault. Not me,” He defended himself, “Those two threatened me, I tried to leave and they threatened me with violence. I defended myself; that dragoness and others did not see it.” He finished.
“Yes I know. But, the principle and teacher saw none of that. And, from what I saw in the school hallways; they have no magical hallway sentry's,” She paused for a minute trying to keep herself calm and composed, “Razor, we don't need a repeat of the other schools.” She finished.
He responded, “Its already happened. Just like the first time and second time this story got rewritten.”
“Huh?” Miss Quill asked as the two finally reached his home.
Razor answered, “That's right you weren't in the first two.” He knew he confused her more with that statement, “I'm going to work in forge; I'm behind on my work.” He said before he entered his home and closer the door. Miss Quill stood outside for a moment before sighing and walking away. Razor was a hard case. But, he was one of her more successful cases. Rather teleporting back to her office; she decided to take the train back to Manehatten. As she rode on the train she wondered if anything else had happened while she was gone. She hoped they didn't try to contact him. She made it clear the last time; he was done with them.

The loud sound of a beeping alarm rang out in the darkness. A clock with orange numbers flashed with the time five ante meridiem. Its snooze button was wrapped with a magical glow; it was then pushed down. Silencing the annoying sound and bringing silence back for a moment. A bed is shown and Razor was sitting on top of it. He stretched himself out before jumping off the bed. His hooves clopping on the hard wood floor. Using his magic he opened his bathroom door; turning on a light and standing before a mirror. His mane was a mess which he quickly cleaned with a comb and some water. He brushed his teeth and washed his mouth with some mouthwash. Checking himself over before nodding and walking out of the bathroom. He walked down the hall and down a flight of stairs.
The moon was still descending but the sun had not yet risen. He knew it wouldn't be long till he had to go to the school. But, he had something more important he had to work on. Something more important than that school. He used his magic to open another door. Before he turned on a light showing the room to be a forge. He walked to a table in the far right; on it was a scroll. He quickly unrolled it and read it. It was a request for two swords for a pair of twins. The one on the left was a double bladed sword. Its hilt had no guard making it built mainly for those who used a shield. He looked down below the sword. He saw a buckler shield with a sheath built into the back. He then looked at the sword on the right. A sword curved back into a large crescent and speared tip; he recognized it as a kilij sword. A sword made back in the time of Alucard the marauder. A stallion that ruled Coltsylmaneia. He was notorious for many heinous acts. He would drink the blood of his enemies. Making various meals with their insides; while collecting their skulls as trophies.
He set the scroll down and used his magic to bring out the various tools and metals he would use to make the weapons. Razor worked hard on all three items. He first used a mixture of three different metals. The first metal was iron; a typical metal used to make swords and other various metal weapons of today. The second was obsidian a rock found in area around volcano's. The third was iridium. A element used to harden other metals. He poured the mixture onto a hollowed table. Turning it into a metallic sheet. He rapidly cooled it down and levitated the sheet onto another table. He then drew the swords and the shield onto the sheet using chalk stone. Once he had finished drawing them; he activated his plasma cutter and began to cut them out. At first glance your would think that he was already done. But he was far from it; sword making was an art form. A form that took much time and effort. He knew the shield was going to be the easiest to make. The hardest was possibly going to be the kilij. Mainly because of its curved back blade; it would be hard to not only sharpen it but to hammer it into shape.
He looked at the clock and saw it was already six in the morning; school would start in two hours. He only needed one. He then began the long and tedious process of sword and shield making. As he worked on the swords; he began treating the wood for the back of the shield. He had it set in a special water chamber he made. He used its heat and used a special device to make it form into a concave bowl. He then began to sharpen, grind, and polish the swords. He eventually finished the swords and started working on the shield. The metal he managed to concave and form into the shape of the buckler. Between the metal and the wood he placed a layer of sheep wool. Giving some form of padding between the metal and wood. Behind the wood he used leather. Allowing the holders hoof a form of comfort and reducing the likely hood of splinters. He didn't forget to add the sheath behind the shield. By the time he was done with the three the clock read it was six forty. He smiled and quickly put the finishing touches on the weapons. He put various artistic etchings and symbols on the clients weapons. When he was finally finished with the weapons he saw he had just enough time to get a shower and take care of his personal hygiene. He quickly made his way back upstairs and back to the bathroom.
Behind the closed door the sound of running water echoed; followed by what looked like steam. When the water stopped everything was quiet once more. Until Razor walked out and back to his room; collecting a saddle bag. Which he loaded down with the necessary books and tools needed for school. He also placed something wrapped in cloth inside the bag. Before he walked back down stairs and into his forge. He then got the swords and shield wrapped; before he sprinkled a fine powder onto them. He then struck a match; causing all three items to go up in flames. Only to have them disappear just seconds later. He looked at the time and saw he had only a few minutes to spare. Thankfully he didn't have to wait long. For a clear mist entered his home; where the items once sat appeared a small brown bag. He smiled and opened it; revealing the contents to be around three hundred and fifty bits. He then put away the bag inside a drawer where other bags were. He then walked outside and locked the door to his home; before he began the walk to the school.
Razor had arrived at the school ten minutes before classes began. He saw many students talking and mingling together. He scanned the area around him; he noticed a few students had started to stare at him. But, the moment he looked at them they quickly got back to talking with the other.
“Just like the other schools.” He thought as he continued his walk.
A few feet away sat the group of six he had met yesterday. Ocellus looked at him as he walked through the crowds of ponies that were ready to attend today's classes. She watched as many ponies went out of their ways to ignore him. It reminded her of her first time in the school of friendship. Having many students ignore her; simply because she was a changeling. She felt a gentle tap on her shoulder. She turned and looked seeing the worried look of her friend Smolder.
“Everything okay Ocellus?” Smolder asked.
Ocellus quickly nodded her head; hoping Smolder didn't notice her lie. Thankfully she didn't and the group continued talking amongst themselves. Although she was having a pleasant conversation her mind kept going back to Razor. Yes, he did hit Smolder yesterday and he knocked out wintergreen and cool mint. He did claim defense but she never heard of wintergreen or cool mint attacking anycreature. Yes, she knew those two were trouble makers; pulling various pranks on classmates and teachers. But, Rainbow dash and Pinkie pie were notorious for that. It confused her on who to believe the new student or students that have been there longer than him. All she could do was sigh heavily before she continued chatting with her friends.
As Razor walked through the hallways of the school. He caught the sight of the two who had attacked him yesterday. Both of them watched as he walked down the hall and eventually found a place to sit down. Both of them were angry at him; he made them both look like foals. And, nopony, nopony, made foals of them without punishment. The walked away from the hallway he was in; so that they could think of a way to get that freak back. It was then the bell rang and the first classes began. For the first part of classes today was with coach Rainbow dash.
The sound of a whistle was heard echoing through the gym. The students stood in a straight line in front of Rainbow. She walked in front of them; examining each one of them. Before she came to a stop. She knew most of them had some raw emotions from yesterday. After all Razor was the new student that caused some trouble yesterday. Did she believe his claim to self defense yesterday, yes. But, she didn't see anything so she wasn't sure who to believe. She sighed knowing what she had to do; she then took in a deep breath and spoke.
“Alright,” She began in a loud tough voice, “As you all already know. We have a new student joining our class today,” She continued before her gaze focused on Razor, “So, everybody, please give a warm welcome to Razor Edge.” She finished introducing the colt to his classmates.
Nobody bothered to look at him. Since they were already acquainted with him. The silence that followed was a little awkward. But, thankfully Rainbow dash broke the silence with a clearing of her throat. Her students focused on her; just as she flew up. Only to fly to the center of the gym; her students followed her. Once they stood in front of her again she spoke.
“Okay, class,” She began, “Today, my class is going to be a little longer than usual,” She informed causing everyone-except for Razor-to look at her in confusion, “Reason why is because Fluttershy; had an animal emergency at home. So, for today you're spending first and second period here.” She finished causing them all to groan in annoyance.
“Sounds interesting.” Razor said in response.
Rainbow dash then blew her whistle and began to put the class through their exercises. First it was three running laps around the gym. Followed by rope climbing and weight lifting. By the time they reached the class reached weight lifting. Most of them were starting to run on fumes. The only ones still going were Smolder, Gallus, and Razor. Smolder and Gallus were obvious; Their species were more built for repetitive physical activity. While as for Razor; he acted more like a robot. Whenever he was told to do something. He would just do it. By the time the class ended; the entire class was doing their best to catch their breaths.
“Take five everyone!” Rainbow yelled causing her students release a sigh of relief. Some of them dropped to the floor. While others walked to the bleachers to sit and rest. Razor had separated himself form everyone again. He walked back to the area he sat in before; using his magic to pull his book out again.
Ocellus watched as Razor sat by himself in the gym. She didn't like the though of anybody sitting by themselves. With a sigh she stood up and walked over to him. When she was close enough she sat down next to him. She stayed quiet at first; she just simply sat there staring forward. While he read his book. She then cleared her throat and prepared to speak.
“You're name is Ocellus,” Razor suddenly said in his robotic like voice, “We met yesterday.” He finished before turning to another page.
She was left with her mouth hanging open. She quickly closed her maw and though about what to say. She was about to speak but Rainbows' whistle interrupted her. Everyone in the gym got in front of Rainbow dash as fast as they could. She silently thanked the coach for her timing.
“Alright, breaks over!” She said in a serious tone, “For the second part of this class; we will be doing an endurance test,” She continued causing worried looks to appear on the students faces', “So lets get started with one-hundred sit ups.” She finished before blowing her whistle.
The students were put through five different sets of exercises. First it was the one-hundred sit ups. After that she had her students run in place. That was when they lost Yona and Sandbar. The third was one-hundred leg lifts. They lost Silverstream to that exercise. The fourth was ten weighted jumping jacks. By the time they reached one hundred push ups. It was just Ocellus, Smolder, Gallus, and Razor left. For the last part Rainbow dash joined them.
“Come on!” Rainbow yelled, “Only fifty more to go!” She finished earning herself a couple of groans. She chuckled to herself as she continued to do the exercises.
“Ocellus.” Razor had suddenly said.
“Yes, Razor.” She replied as she struggled to push herself back up.
“Will you please stop staring at my flank. I find it annoying when ponies stare at me.” He said causing Ocellus to fall to the floor in shock.
Both Rainbow dash and Smolder came to a sudden stop. Neither of them could believe what he had just said. Everyone else was still doing the push-ups; but Gallus, Cool mint and Wintergreen had began to snicker a little.
“Gallus, Cool mint, Wintergreen can you all please do the same.” Razor spoke sending all three of them to the floor in shock.
Rainbow dash could not hold it back anymore. She fell to the floor laughing loudly; causing a huge blush to appear on all three of their faces. She laughed until her stomach started to hurt. While Razor had finished the exercise. Once she manged to pull herself together; she blew her whistle and told them to hit the shows.
Razor stood calmly underneath the running water. His mane becoming drenched and draping over his eyes. As he stood there; he was suddenly spun around and pressed against the wall. His face remaining void of emotion. While Cool mint and Wintergreen glared at him.
“What the Tartarus is wrong with you. You freak.” Wintergreen growled
“Asperger's.” Razor replied calmly causing wintergreen to press him further into the wall.
“Okay smartass,” Wintergreen spoke in anger, “Do you know what I'm going to do to you now?” He asked.
Razor was silent for a moment before answering“You are going to beat me until you are satisfied.”
Wintergreen tightened his magical grip on Razor, “Good answer,” He then looked back at Cool mint, “Go raid his locker. See if you cant find anything.” He saw his friend not and walk away.
“Going to attempt another false self defense claim?” Razor asked.
“Shut up! You retard bastard!” Wintergreen shouted ask he brought his hoof back.
Gallus and Sandbar were rapidly making their way to the locker-room. Sandbar was trying his best to calm his friend down. But, Gallus was an angry gryphon and trying to calm and angry gryphon down; well it's easier said than done.
“Gallus, please calm down.” Sandbar said trying to get his friend to stop.
Gallus payed him no mind, “That jerk is gonna pay.” He muttered to himself.
The moment the two entered the locker-room they heard the voice of Razor.
“Keep your hooves off my knife next time.”
Both of them stopped for a moment; did Razor just say he had a knife? The two looked at one another and rounded the corner. What they saw was a sight that took a few years off their life. Razor was standing over the bloodied bodies of Wintergreen and Cool mint. The moment Razor turned to look at them they saw it. In his magical hold they saw a knife. It looked like he was about to say something but he never got the chance. For, Gallus had flown forward and knocked him and the knife to the ground.
“Gallus!” Sandbar shouted.
Gallus held Razor down onto the ground, “Sandbar get Coach Dash now!” He shouted Sandbar quickly ran to go get her. He then looked down and growled at Razor; seeing his neutral expression, “Don't you move!”
“I have no intention on hurting any other creature.” Razor responded in his calm robotic voice.
Gallus growled, “Could have fooled me,” He put more pressure on Razor's head.
Razor suddenly spoke, “Can you get off of me please. At the moment we are in a very questionable position.”
“Shut up!” Gallus growled.
“You are forgetting your own species.” Razor responded.
Gallus was confused, “What?”
Razor looked back up at him, “You forgot about your species.” He repeated still confusing Gallus. He rolled his eyes in annoyance; earning more pressure to his head. He continued, “Gryphons by nature are violent, like dragons, yaks, hippogriffs and ponies. Although our species have evolved basic core emotions and needs still remain. For all of us the core needs such as eating and sleeping are necessary for all of us to keep living. Core emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, lust and desire, anxiety/fear and disgust. Help us influence our decisions and rationalize our thoughts. But, in situations of hyper emotions basic core needs tend to merge; overlapping.”
Gallus released an irritated growl, “What are you talking about?” He asked his voice filled with confusion.
Razor continued, “For gryphons, during times of conflict anger and lust tend to get mixed with one another,” He noticed the gryphon was still confused, “You have an erection and its currently pressing against my stomach.” He finished.
Gallus's eyes' went wide as he looked down. His face was as red as an apple the moment he saw,“Ah!” He yelled as he backed away; sat down and used his talons to cover himself.
Razor then sat up and dusted himself off, “Thank you,” He thanked the gryphon as he levitated his knife and wrapped it up back in its cloth. He then looked back at the gryphon and spoke again, “You shouldn't be ashamed. Yes, given the situation it is embarrassing for you. But, at the same time its a natural.”
He was interrupted by the door to the locker-room opening. He saw the coach and Sandbar round the corner; along with Starlight glimmer. The schools superintendent and the schools secondary principal.
“He's got a knife!” Sandbar shouted.
“Not again.” Razor sighed sadly as he was placed under the effect of a paralysis spell.
Sandbar smiled nervously, “Excuse us, Razor.” He said while dragging Gallus out of the locker room.
Razor calmly sat just outside the office. His social worker immediately teleported herself to the school when she heard the news. By now she was already telling them that the knife he carried wasn't a knife. Although it looked like a knife and technically it was intended to be a knife. It still wasn't a knife; it was a key to his home. The key was actually the first knife he had ever forged. He failed horribly at it. But, instead of discarding it like any other creature would. He carried it around with pride calling it his first knife. Which he eventually fashioned into a key. When the door opened Razor saw the worker walk out; she looked at him and spoke.
“You are still enrolled in the school,” Razor nodded and she continued, “But, for the remainder of the day you are suspended.” She finished.
“For bringing a weapon?” He asked assuming that was the reason.
Miss Quill shook her head, “For fighting.”
Razor sighed, “It was self defense.” He argued.
She nodded, “I believe you. That's why Wintergreen and Cool mint are being punished as well.” she answered.
“Are they being suspended for the day as well?” He asked.
“No,” She answered, “They are just going to have detention after school.”
Razor responded, “So, I'm being kicked out for self-defense and possession of a potential weapon. While they are receiving only detention after a repeated assault attempt?” He asked.
Miss Quill answered quickly, “Only for the possession of a weapon. They say you can still bring it to school. But, you must leave it at the principals office from now on.”
“I don't like others touching my knife.” Razor said rather bluntly.
Miss quill snorted in anger, “And I'm getting tired of dealing with a problem child like you.”
There was a rather long silence followed by the last statement. They stared at each other for a moment before Razor got up and walked to the exit of the school. Miss quill sighed in anger before she teleported herself back to her office. She knew the paper worker and overtime for this incident was going to be a nightmare for her.
“Why couldn't I get an easier job? Why did it have to be Razor edge?” She asked herself.
Razor was now in the center of town; before he walked any further he looked back at the school. He stared at it for a few moments before he continued walking away. As he walked the words “Problem child” and “Retard” echoed in his mind. He kept hearing the words as he walked all the way back to his home.
“I'm not a problem child or a retard,” He said to himself as he opened his door and entered his home, “I'm just different.” He finished before closing the door to his home.

Chapter 2. yes, I know sword making takes a longer process than described. but, I wanted those who read this story to enjoy it. not having to read through a chapter that lags for a long time. anyway whoe this chapter is good.
Razor sighed heavily as he flipped his mask up. He panted a little as he wiped the sweat off his brow. He was currently working on a rapier made of titanium. This one wasn't for a battle because the metal was too light. This was for a collector who wanted an old fashioned prance rapier. It was a little difficult to make; because he hardly had a collector ordering from him. Especially one with a specific sword type. He had to get up early that morning to begin making the sword. He also had to use a mold he made only for rapiers. He soon began to polish the rapier and fashion it's handle. It had a domed hilt with a spiral handle. Typical for the old fashioned rapiers of early prance. He took a quick look at the clock; he had about an hour until school started. He didn't waste any time getting himself ready for school.
Cool mint and Wintergreen waited just outside the school. Both of them were still angry at that bastard Razor. For the last two days he made both of them look like such idiots. They had to get that freak back. They had to make that retard pay. At the moment Wintergreen was keeping an eye out for him. While Cool mint was reading a book about autistic ponies. Not because he wanted to understand ponies on the autism spectrum. But, because they wanted to learn how to set them off.
“Hmm, interesting.” Cool mint commented.
Wintergreen looked at him, “Find something?” he asked.
Cool mint answered, “Apparently certain sounds or images can set an autistic pony off. Most of the time the reaction is violent.” He looked up at his friend and saw a devious smile on his face. When they looked again they saw their prey walking towards the school. They took a quick look at their schedules for today. The first class was with Fluttershy. The perfect place to set their trap and get some payback.
Fluttershy waited eagerly for her students to enter her classroom. Yesterday, she had to miss a day of school. But, it was a real emergency; her bear friend had fallen asleep on top of a rabbit burrow. Although, she knew how stubborn he was. She wasn't going to let him trap her rabbit friends in their own home. At first she tried using his favorite food, Fish. But, he managed to ignore it. She tried reasoning with him; only to have him snore loudly at her. Unfortunately, that left her with only one final option. Her stare! Although she really didn't like using it; she knew being able to do something like that would come in handy. She sighed and continued to wait for her students. Thankfully, she did not have to wait to long.
Her door opened and one by one her students walked in. Each of them greeting her before sitting at their desks. She took notice of the new student Twilight had informed her about. She was happy to see a new face in her class. The bell rang and her class started. She was very excited for today. Because, she had a very special surprise for her students. She could hear them all talking to one another; she looked to her desk and nodded. On the desk stood one of her woodpecker friends; it tweeted happily. Before it rapidly tapped her desk. Not only silencing everyone; but also also causing everyone to look at her.
“Good morning class.” Fluttershy greeted happily.
“Good morning. Professor, Fluttershy.” All of them greeted back.
Fluttershy smiled as she checked to see if everyone was present. When she was done; she looked up at her new student, “I see we have a new student with us today,” She said happily while some of her students groaned a little, “I'm Professor, Fluttershy. What's your name?” She asked.
“Razor edge,” He replied, “Nice to meet you.” He finished his voice sounding as caring as Maud's.
Fluttershy nodded her head happily; before her gaze shifted to all of the class, “Now, I have some very important guests visiting our class today,” She informed causing everyone to look at each other. She smiled happily, “Everyone let me introduce you all to my bird friends.” She finished just as many birds entered her classroom from an open window.
The class were in awe at the number of birds that entered her classroom. Some of them laughed while other hid themselves in fear. Smolder looked at them all in wonder; the only birds she knew of were roc's. Predatory birds that fed on young dragons during the molt. So to see a large number of smaller ones. Including those of different colors. Well it surprised her greatly. Then, with a small whistle the birds descended upon the desks.
A bluejay had landed on Razor's desk; it looked at him and tweeted happily, “You're feathers are blue,” Razor began, “I hate blue.” He finished.
Everyone looked at him with looks of disgust. They could have sworn they saw the bird frowning. It also looked like it was about to shed a tear. Before, it flew off and landed back on Fluttershy's desk. The bird earned itself a few gentle pats on the head. It smiled and flew off to meet another student.
“Yona, no like new student,” Yona whispered to Silverstream, “Don't think he belongs in this school.” She finished.
Silverstream nodded in agreement, “He's so rude,” She commented while another in their class turned towards them, “I still can't believe he wasn't expelled for what he brought to school on Monday.” She added while Yona nodded.
“What did he bring?” Asked their classmate.
Cool mint quickly answered, “He brought a knife to school and attacked me and Wintergreen.”
“He did what!?” Another student asked in shock.
As the students whispered amongst themselves; Razor had used his magic to pull out his journal. He set it on his desk and opened to a page with a half drawn sword. As he began to draw he payed little attention to his classmates around him. Some of them were amazed at how detailed his drawings were. While others worried about his odd obsession with swords. Was it healthy for a colt that young to be interested in weapons? Yes, weapons are apart of every creatures in Equestria's history. But, now in their time. It was just odd to them to see somepony with a weapon obsession. Especially, with a single type of weapon.
Another rapid series of taps drew their attention back to Fluttershy. While the birds flew to various perches that were set up behind her desk. The students looked confused as Fluttershy stood in front of the birds. She smiled in excitement as her birds readied themselves.
“Now class,” She began making sure she had everyone's attention. She coughed a little when she saw Razor still drawing in his journal. Her cough caught his attention and stopped drawing, “I am going to show something I taught all of these birds to do,” She explained before looking at the birds, “Ready?” She asked receiving a nod from one of the birds.
When Razor saw her pick up a baton; he knew what she was about to do. Using his magic he opened his saddle bag again. This time he pulled out a pair of ear muffs; which he quickly placed over his ears. Wintergreen noticed this and smiled; he then quickly got Yona's attention. She looked at him and then noticed that he was pointing at Razor. Who was currently wearing a pair of headphones. He was trying to ignore the birds song. She was still mad at how he insulted one of Fluttershy's birds. But, now he was going to ignore them. Just before they started to sing. With a huff she got out of her desk and made her way to him. Just before Fluttershy waved her baton; Yona had grabbed his ears muffs and pulled them off. Razor gasped before the birds stared to sing.
“No.” Razor groaned as he brought his hooves up to cover his ears.
Yona shook her head in annoyance; before trying to pull his hooves back down, “Listen to their song.” She almost yelled.
“No,” He shouted, “No! No! No!” He started to scream.
This was the exact reaction both Wintergreen and Cool mint were hoping for. At that moment Cool mint quickly got up to help Yona. Yelling at the colt who was trying to break out of her hold. Wintergreen then began to yell.
“Listen to their song!” He yelled repeatedly; causing more than a few students to join in.
Fluttershy quickly got her birds quiet; while the class continued to yell over at Razor. A few students screamed in fear. As Razor used his magic to lift Yona and Cool mint up and throw them. A few students scrambled out of their desks. Just before they were sent crashing into them. Yona's friends' quickly got to her side; while Razor brought his hooves back up to his ears. He then started to make a rather annoying groaning sound.
Smolder growled and quickly walked over to Razor. Pushing him down onto his back hard, “What's the matter with you!?” She growled.
“Smolder, calm.” Fluttershy began to say before another student interrupted her.
“Yeah, what's you're problem!?” One of the fillies in her class yelled.
A earth colt stood up, “You could have hurt them! What were you thinking?” The colt asked while Razor looked at them in horror, “What are you stupid?” The colt finished.
Fluttershy gasped, “Rough Terrain, we do not.”
“He's not stupid,” Wintergreen quickly spoke. Fluttershy sighed in relief; happy to see somepony defending him, “He's like my cousin, Half baked. He's retarded!” He finished causing Fluttershy's eyes' to go wide in shock.
“Yeah, You're right, he is retarded.” A filly pegasus responded.
Razor looked around hearing all of them yelling at him. Hearing them calling him names. Names he had though he had gotten used to. But, once again he could feel a single tear run down from his face. Smolder had little time to react when she saw Razor shoot to his hooves. Everyone watched as Razor ran out of the classroom. Some of them yelling for him to run. While others were more worried about Yona. When the class calmed down; they were met with the disappointed stare of Fluttershy. It was then all them felt and icy cold wind blow past them. They still felt it as their teacher ran after Razor.
Razor was running as fast as he could through the halls of the school. Tears ran down his face like rivers. He burst through the door and ran into the schools massive library. He quickly found a nice quiet place; he was breathing heavily. The laughter, the noise, the names he was called. He could still hear them. He covered his ears and sat down; he continued to make that noise from earlier. He did eventually fall to the ground into the fetal position. His ears covered but he had stopped making the noise. His eyes were closed and his face had his usual neutral expression. He remained calm and still in that position long after Starlight had found him. She tried to get him to respond to her. But, he stayed quiet. Muttering only a few words so silent he could rival Fluttershy.
“Please, stop the noise. Please, stop the noise.”
He opened one of his eyes only to relive a moment from his childhood. One where he was hiding underneath his bed. While his mother and father were fighting in the living room. Both of them were screaming, yelling, cursing, slapping and punching each other. Glass was heard being broken while screams of pain echoed.
“Please, stop. Please, stop. Please, stop.” He muttered repeatedly; his ears covered by his hooves. While Starlight continued to try and calm him down.

Chapter 3 hope whoever reads enjoys. I know I'm using words that are going to be making most readers angry. but, lets face it; many people see autistic people as retarted. problem children and arrogant bitches and bastards. it's a hard truth but a truth. that's why I'm putting these labels in here. Not because I'm being a bigot. not because I'm being an asshole. but, because this shit happens irl. can it be stopped, no. but can a better understanding of the spectrum help people see. those with autism are like everybody else. in my opinion, yes it can. anyway leave a like or comment.
Razor calmly walked down the dirt road back to his home. Earlier before the first classes he had asked Starlight if he could have the day off. Not because he was lazy; but because he was backed up on orders. He had to get more than a few swords and knives made by the end of next week. Yes, he had been getting up early; which allowed him to finish a few of the orders. But, he had yet to get through the bulk of his orders. He still had three bastard swords to make. Twelve crusader shields, fifty viper blades; twenty of said blades needing name etching. And, five of them needed art painted onto them. Normally he would have that done within the week. But with the school taking up a few hours of his day. To say he was putting in overtime was a very big understatement.
As he walked back home a few feet behind him Cool mint and Wintergreen walked. Both of them were going to make this freak pay. And, they were going to make sure that this retard was going to pay. They made sure to keep a safe distance from him. When he would stop they would hide; they kept a close eye on him. As Wintergreen hid he broke off a branch from a tree. If that kid didn't have brain damage; he was going to have it now. When Razor started walking again; they started following him again. As he took a turn they ran up and quickly rounded the corner. Only to see he was not there; it confused them greatly.
“Why are you both following me?” Razor asked as he appeared behind.
Both of them jumped with a shout as they looked behind him. They had to take a moment to get over their shock. Both of them breathed heavily for a moment until they glared at him; and readied their weapons.
“We are going to fight?” He asked.
“No,” Wintergreen responded, “Were going to give you brain damage.” He threatened.
“For many my brain is damaged enough,” Razor responded only to step back as Wintergreen took a swing at him, “Fine we fight.” He finished before Cool mint tried to use a knock back spell on him.
Smolder, Gallus, and Ocellus- who had transformed herself into a dog- were following Razor's trail. Just awhile ago; they had watched him enter Principal Starlight's office. Only to watch him leave and exit the school. Ocellus being the curious one; had entered the principal's office. Only to come back to the two and tell them what she just heard. Apparently Razor had a job outside of school. Both of them were immediately skeptical about it. After some convincing they managed to talk Ocellus into skipping class again. Ocellus had her nose close to the ground; sniffing out the scent of Razor.
“Have you almost found him yet?” Gallus asked.
“Not yet,” Ocellus answered as she continued to follow the scent, “But, were getting close. His scent is getting stronger.” She finished continuing to sniff.
As they got closer to him; they heard what sounded like a fight. They watched as a couple of branches flew into the air. Ocellus had transformed back into her original form. The three looked at one another; before they ran up to the area and rounded the corner. Only to see Wintergreen, Cool mint, and Razor. Razor was currently on the ground covering his head. While Cool mint was using his magic to try and get Razor's pathetic defense down. Wintergreen was ready to hit him with a limb he had levitated over his head.
“You earned this, retard.” Wintergreen snorted just as Cool mint managed to move his arms.
Before the two could deliver anymore blows; both of them were tackled off of him. Smolder had grabbed Wintergreen and tossed him into a tree. While Gallus had pinned Cool mint down and was growling loudly. Ocellus was checking over Razor; trying to see if he was still conscious.
“What are you doing, Smolder?” Wintergreen asked as Smolder lifted him up by the throat.
“What am I doing,” Smolder replied as her grip tightened around his throat, “what are you two doing?” She growled.
Cool mint answered, “Teaching the retard of the school a lesson.” his answer caused Gallus to growl a little louder.
“He has a name,” Gallus growled, “His name is Razor edge.”
Wintergreen scoffed, “What you all care for the mentally retarded colt now.”
His comment earned him a hard punch to the gut from Smolder. Cool mint tried to help his friend; but he got some hard slashes from Gallus's talons. Ocellus had to shield Razor from the occasional magical blasts that Wintergreen and Cool mint fired. But, eventually to two ended up being beaten. Forcing both of them to run away.
Wintergreen shouted as they ran, “You're all gonna pay for this!”
Both Smolder and Gallus breathed heavily for a little bit. Before they turned around and looked at the two. They walked back just as Ocellus helped Razor up. She tried to help dust him off; but he stopped her.
Ocellus asked, “Razor, are you okay?”
“Yes,” Razor answered in his robotic toned voice, “Thank you all. But, why are you all here?” He asked.
Each of them looked at each other nervously; wondering what to say to him. Neither of them wanted to answer him. But, unfortunately Professors Applejack's were kicking in. Given that it was his idea to begin with; Gallus walked up and was going to answer.
“All three of you thought I had lied about having a job outside of school. Didn't y'all?” Razor asked before Gallus could ask him, “It's okay. It's happened before.” He finished.
A long silence was followed; none of them could think of anything to say. Originally they were all here to see if the colt in front of them was lying. But, instead they just saved him from a bully attack. After a few more moments of silence; Razor spoke.
“Thank you all. Have a good day.” He then continued walking back home; before he was out of ear shot he added, “If you all want to see where I work you're all welcome. But, I suggest you all get back to the school.” The moment he finished that all three of them had a look of terror appear on their faces.
Razor watched as all three of them sprinted back to the school as fast as they could. He watched them long after they were out of his sight. He then shook his head.
“If only they ran that fast in coach Rainbow's class. All three of them would tie for the school record.” He finished before turning around and continuing his walk back to his home
