Base-1, Mount Aris, Hippogriffian.S.S.R
1526 hours
It took place in a dark conference room of the Soviet mega bunker of Base-1, an argument that would determine the fate of an entire world, that argument had been raging for the past half-hour; this was about quite a few things that had occurred over the past one and a half years. The war between the Soviet Union, the Kingdom of Equestria, the German Empire, and the Crystal Empire. Which consisted of events such as the fall of Equestria and it's princesses, (Except Twilight and her friends who had disappeared) the rise of the Equestrian White army (Nationalists) to fight the Soviet Union and their puppet, the Equestrian Soviet Socialist Republic (Communists). As well as the arrival of the German Empire to help the Nationalists. After three years of fighting all of them, the Soviets were on the retreat, their re-enforcements relegated to serve back on other fronts of the third world war still raging on earth with no end in sight. Not only that but when they learned that there was no way home, the politburo saw no reason to re-enforce the Soviet army in Equestria, period.
So here sat the newly promoted General Orlovsky along with the Premier of the E.S.S.R Lebedev, arguing with his nephew yet again about strategy, this time though Malashenko had a new plan he wanted to bring to the Premier's/his uncle's attention.
"Cap- "I mean Major Malashenko, what exactly is this plan that you have brought to my attention?" Asked Gen. Orlovsky to his nephew.
"You may have lost hope uncle. But I refuse to surrender. You see, THIS is the answer to all our problems!" Answered the Major, holding up a copy of the communist manifesto.
"What do you plan to do with that? Quote Marx? Because if you want to win against the Germans and the White army, then you'll need a miracle. And nothing we can do will change that. Understand? The war's over, and we've lost." Said Premier Lebedev, as he folded his arms on the desk in front of him.
Then Maj. Malashenko started laughing manically; "You misunderstand, I AM giving us a miracle. You see, it contains a spell that would turn ANYONE who reads it into a devout communist." He said with a darkened grin on his face.
"Major Malashenko, what are you suggesting?" Asked Lebedev, intrigued by the Major's proposal.
"And where did you get this 'spell'?" Asked Gen. Orlovsky.
"Well," He began. "I managed to get the spell by 'recruiting' some unicorns to help me." He stated simply. "As for your question Premier. What I'm suggesting, Is for us to send it through a portal to another world, similar to the one we came through."
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Bellowed Gen. Orlovsky.
"What have I done?" He said, pointing to himself. "What I have done, 'uncle' is guaranteed our victory. Because if my plan works, then we'll be able to gain re-enforcements from another source." He said putting a special, sickly emphasis on uncle as if he was vomiting it out.
"What do you by 'another world' Major?" Asked the Premier.
"To answer your question Comrade Lebedev, from what I've been able to extract from the Equine's mages', is that we're apart of something called: The Multiverse. And this Multiverse is comprised of dimensions. And to give an example of a dimension, we're already in one, and our homeworld is another. And the Multiverse is supposedly full of them, all connected by portals." Malashenko explained to his superiors.
"Then how does that help us?" Asked Orlovsky.
"Simple," Started Malashenko as his face darkened. "We use unicorn magic to build a portal and 'make them' take us to another world." He finished with a sickly grin on his face.
"Maj. Malashenko, please stop with this foolishness, our soldiers are tired, and our Equestrian allies desert regularly. So unless you can summon an extra army, we're done here." Said his uncle, getting up to leave when his nephew mumbled something behind him.
"What was that?" He asked.
"I said, I already have the portal. It's all ready to go to the lab. And I have more than 100 soldiers ready to go through at my command." He answered, looking proud of his achievement.
"YOU DID WHAT!?" Yelled both Orlovsky and Lebedev simultaneously, as their jaws collectively fell at such a statement, making Lebedev stand as well.
"Now if you'll excuse me, 'General' I have a book to deliver, and a portal to test." Said Maj. Malashenko, as he started to walk away. That is until Orlovsky had one more thing to say to him.
"No." He said quietly.
"What was that Comrade General?" Asked the Major.
"No, you will not be going to take 100 of 'my' men! And you will not be using any portal!" He ordered.
"Don't you mean 'our' men? And I don't care what you say, because I have my orders, 'directly' from the politburo." He lied.
"HOW DID YOU- "Oh nevermind. But how did you get in contact? I thought that they cut us off?" Said Lebedev.
"Well I don't care where his orders came from my answer is still no!" Gen. Orlovsky bellowed angrily.
"Oh really, just HOW do you plan to stop me?" He walked over and stood right in his uncle's face. "ARE YOU SAYING WE SHOULD JUST GIVE UP UNCLE? WELL, ARE YOU?" He spat while unholstering his pistol, unbeknownst to his uncle.
"Malashenko pl-" Said his uncle, before being silenced by a gunshot to the heart.
"You left me no choice Uncle! You were going to surrender to those, those,"
He seethed while removing the pistol from his uncle's chest. "CAPITALIST PIGS!" Then he turned around to face Lebedev, with a look of sheer rage on his face, holding his Makarov at his side. "And what about you, will you now try to stop me? Because I swear if you and Captian Romanov stand in my way. I'll not rest until you're both dead." He threatened before reholstering his pistol, making an about-turn, marching away, and closing the door behind him, leaving the Premier alone with Gen. Orlovsky's dead body.
Once he was gone, Lebedev then over walked to his now-deceased friend. "Well, old friend, I will ensure that all the men who stay behind will live to see the end of this madness." He whimpered to his body before kneeling and closing his eyes. Then he stood up and walked out the door as well.
Running as fast as he could, passing the various people, ponies, soldiers, civilian workers, wounded being carried on stretchers, and scientists who packed the moist, grey, concrete hallways of the underground complex; which to Lebedev was a far-cry to the almost palace-like capital buildings he used to inhabit for the past year; that is until Kluge town was taken, and they were forced back to Mount Aris; so the Mountian fortress was the only place to call home. Occasionally, as he ran, he would hear the sound of bombardment, the crash of the shells, causing the whole mountain to tremble, as if in terror, and the dust to fall from the ceiling in the aftermath. Then he stopped and stared at the dust. 'Is that what we are?' The Premier thought to himself. 'Sentenced to fall inevitably like this dust?' He thought to himself as he again started moving, this time at a walking pace, and started singing a song that he heard a few years ago, and as he walked, others started to join in singing as well; continuing his way down the hallway; he eventually found the door to his office, which he entered, took off his cap, put on the hat stand at the door, passed the massive flag on his wall, (The flag was a yellow hammer crossed over a yellow Horseshoe with a red background) he made his way to the large, oak desk with a telephone, lamp, a stack of papers/files, and two typewriters (one with the Latin alphabet) on it; then he sat down in his chair, typed in a number using the rotary dial, and took it to his ear.
After a few seconds of ringing. "Hello?" Asked the feminine voice on the other end.
"Alexandra, is that you?" Asked Lebedev.
"Valerie?! Oh my, I thought you were dead! Thank goodness, where are you, they told me you were dead! Killed in some accident off Norway!" She yelled excitedly, happy to hear her husband.
"Well there was an accident, and you may not believe this, but we ended up in another world, That's why I couldn't call you for so long." He responded, knowing that she would probably think he was joking.
"Oh come on that's the worst excuse I've EVER heard!" She laughed as a shell hit, once again shaking the mountain. "Now I think I'll let you get back to your war, and please, call when you get your leave! Goodbye, my love!" She said as the phone went quiet.
"NO WA- *CLICK* "N-n-n-no. . ." He cried as he put down the phone; "Why wouldn't she believe me? Why couldn't she just understand, I'll never be able to see her again." Then he rubbed his hands on his face and took a deep breath before moving the seat over to the typewriter and started to print out a letter.

Mount Aris, Hippogriffian.S.S.R
1638 hours
To General Silver Shield of the White army It is with the deepest humbleness that I address you at this time. For knowing I do not need to remind you of the desperate situation of our army. You being the one who put us here, now at this time, I ask that you allow this madness to come to an end. I would like to seek a ceasefire for the time being. So that we may negotiate peace terms. Also, I regret to inform you that General Orlovsky will not be joining us, as on this day at 1529 hours, he was killed in cold blood by his nephew, Major Malashenko. I also would like to remind the good General of the fact that by myself giving the order of surrender, that ALL Soviet forces are to immediately be inturned and disarmed under your control.
Signed: Premier Lebedev.
Then he folded it up, put it in a file folder, and pressed the buzzer.
"Yes?" Came to the voice.
"Get me, Cap. Romanov." He ordered.
"Of course comrade Lebedev!" Said the man on the other end, before he heard the static come on, as the man fulfilled his orders.
After a few minutes of waiting, he heard a knock at the door. "Come in." Said Lebedev, then the door opened and in walked a young officer. "Ahhh, Captian Romanov, good to see you. Please, sit down." He said while gesturing for him to take a seat.
"Thank you, comrade," Said Cap. Romanov as he walked in and sat down.
"What's the news from the front?" Asked Lebedev.
"Not good, they're only about five kilometres from our position." He stated bluntly.
"I could feel the shells." Joked Lebedev. "But enough of that. On to business, do you know why I sent for you Captian?" He asked.
"No comrade Lebedev." He answered.
Then he leaned in closer and looked around suspiciously, before turning back to him and saying: "I need you to deliver this for me." While he handed him the file. "It's an appeal for a ceasefire and I need you to deliver it to the only man or in this case pony, who can stop the offensive and give us enough time to negotiate a surrender. Can you do this?" He asked.
"Of course comrade Lebedev!" He answered.
"Shhhh, keep it down, now please hurry," He said as he started to leave. "Oh and Romanov," Then Cap. Romanov turned to face him. "I normally would NEVER say this but, may GOD be with you."
"Thank you, comrade,"He said as he left out the door.

Hill 1248 Equestrian front
1230 hours
It was loud at the front, of course, this being a Sunday it was always loud. Not with the howl of shells or the rattle of gunfire, nor the rage of battle, but with singing, as it was commanded by General Silver Shield that there should be no attacks made on the sabbath day, as it was in line with most Christian doctrines'. (Those being a sizeable portion of the White army) And while most of the ethnic Equestrians may not have understood what they considered the 'strange' practices of the foreigners. (Those being the 'ponies' from countries such as Poland, Hungary, Canada, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, France, Germany, the United States, Britain, Hong Kong, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Chile, Venezuela, Spain, Portugal, all over Africa, and so on) They still liked the odd feeling of peace that they felt when they heard the hymns they sang, with a strength and vigour they had never seen nor heard before. Not to mention it did spark many a pony to ask why they did what they did, and some even converted; unfortunately, it did cause some to be suspicious of their foreign allies who sat in the same trenches as them, singing songs of praise to a being they had NEVER heard of before, this being, this GOD, that the foreigners always spoke of (if they could understand them) much like they had the late Princess Celestia; and here they sat, singing songs of Patriotism, Nationalism, Praise, and faith; amid the blood, gore, and pain of the trenches in which the armies sat. As for the Soviets, they too were confused at first; but when they became used to the peace and rest Sundays gave them; they were always looking forward to them. But then, there was the time they buried the dead; the Soviets saw them do it every Sunday at 1111 hours sharp, always singing songs of remembrance and pain rather than the upbeat proud songs of the rest of those days. But this Sunday felt different.
"Sir! SIR!" Yelled the Lieutenant as he ran past rows of temporary barracks, towards his commander.
"What is it, LT. Hammer?" Asked the officer.
"We have a prisoner!" He answered
At this statement, he just shook his head.
"Lieutenant, this better not be another trick," Responded the officer whose name was Cap. Cold Steel.
"It isn't sir, look," He said as two other soldiers came into view, aiming their AK74s at a Soviet human officer.
Then the Captian walked closer to the man standing before him, confusion was written all over his face. Instead of his usual steely expression. "What did you think you were doing? Did you seriously think you could sneak past our blockade?" He asked as he continued his inspection of the man.
"He- "I mean, no, I didn't." Answered the human, to Cap. Steel who was still circling him.
Then he stopped and looked up at him. "Oh, then why did you come here?" He asked as he tilted his head to the side.
"I-I came to give this to General Silver Shield." He said as he handed him an envelope. "And tell him, it's from Premier Lebedev."
"Why should we believe you?" Asked the Lieutenant.
"Agreed, why should we?" The Captian asked inquisitively as he refused it.
"Because this letter can end this war and all you have to do is give it to him." He said.
Then Lt. Hammer stepped forward with a very angry look on his face and pointed a hoof at the man. "That's the same thing you Soviets said to the Princesses, And just look how well that turned out for them!" Then he turned back to the Captian. "Sir, with all due respect, we should just have him sh-" He said as Cap. Steel put a hoof on his mouth.
"Who's the Captian here again?" He asked as he removed his hoof from his mouth.
"You are sir," He whimpered.
"That's what I thought." He said as he turned back to face the human. "But I think you can deliver it, Personally." He said as he took the letter in his magical grasp, and put it in his jacket. "That way, if there is any kind of trap, you will die too." He threatened with a darkened grin.
"Un-understood." He gulped.
"Good," He said as his face changed back to a more neutral expression. "Come on men, let's go. Easy march!" He ordered as the five them started heading towards the HQ.
Then as they started marching, the Lieutenant walked up next to the officer.
"What rank are you anyway?" He asked.
"I am a Captian." He responded. "And why are you talking to me? Didn't you just say you wanted to shoot me?" He asked.
"Yes, but the Captain was right, we can't just shoot somepony if they haven't been proven guilty of anything other then following orders."
"Well thank you for not shooting me." He said uncomfortably.
"You're welcome." Beamed the Lieutenant like a foal.
"What is your name?" Asked the human.
"Lt. Hammer of the 6th Guards Motorized Regiment, 2nd Motorized Division, 2nd Mechanized Corps." He stated proudly.
"Cap. Romanov of the 14th Guards Tank Regiment, 4th Guards Tank Army, 3rd Guards Tank Corps." Said the man.
"Well, I'm glad to meet you." Said Lt. Hammer, as he extended a hoof.
"I'm glad to meet you as well." Said Romanov as he shook it. Then, about ten minutes later, as they continued to their objective, they soon came to a small checkpoint.
"Halt!" Yelled the Captain. "You all stay here, I'll go check-in." He said as he marched up to the check-point.
"What is your business?" Asked one of the guards. "And what are you doing with him?" He asked, pointing to Romanov.
"We are going to see the General. And as for him, he has a letter to deliver." Said Cap. Steel bluntly.
"Let me see your ID." Said the guard.
"Right away," Then he started looking in his pockets until he found it. "Here you are." He said as he gave it to him with his magic.
"Thank you," He answered as he took it.
"Cap. Cold Steel, looks like your ID checks out. But just to make sure, what is it called when there is no night or day?" He asked expectantly.
"When the sun collides with the moon." Answered the Captian.
"Alright, move along." Said the guard, as the checkpoint lifted.
After this, he made his way back to the group. "To the front, easy march!" He ordered as they started moving again.
After about 1 kilometre, they came to the main base complex. It's layout comprised of a large command tent in the center, a field hospital, barracks, was surrounded by AA-gun emplacements, and tall barbed-wire fencing, as well as a few SA-5 batteries.
"Here we are," Said Cap. Steel, as he approached another checkpoint. "I'll let you in, but from there you'll be escorted by MPs. Understand?" He asked Cap. Romanov.
"Yes Captian, I understand." Said Cap. Romanov, as Cap. Steel marched off to get the gate open.
After a few minutes of waiting, Cap. Romanov was let through and given a new escort as the others returned to their camp. As they went through the base, he could see the flags of various nations. Including the new flag of Equestria itself, with the North Star in the corner with an ocean of blue as the background, and multiple blue and white stripes; he also saw many medics and doctors running back and forth between tents, along with soldiers, and guards eyeing him on his way to the HQ tent; among those were also German soldiers, who unlike their allies, were mostly human, making them the only other human army on Equis.
"WHAT ARE YOU STANDING AROUND FOR!? GET BACK TO YOUR POSTS!?" Yelled an Officer, as the soldiers did as they were ordered.
"STOP EYEING HIM, AND GET BACK TO TRAINING!" Yelled another in Russian.
"KOMM AUF MÄNNER, GEH ZURÜCK ZUR PATROL!" Yelled a German Officer.
But soon enough he was in the HQ tent, and as they came closer, he saw a mare (who was Gen. Silver Shield's secretary Snow Blossom) sitting at the main desk. "Yes?" She asked a guard.
"This one is here to see the General." He responded while motioning for Cap. Romanov.
"And why does he want to see Gen. Shield?" She asked.
"Because, from what we've heard, he has a proposition for a ceasefire." He answered.
"Alright, I'll see what I can do." Then she tapped a button with her hoof. "Sir, there's somepony here to see you." She said into it.
"I'm sorry, but if it's not important, then I will not see them. Because I'm currently in a meeting with Prince Von Blitz, so if you don't mind-
"But sir, it's a Soviet Officer, and he has a proposal for a ceasefire."
"WHY DIDN'T YOU LEAD WITH THAT!? SEND HIM IN!" He barked.
"Yes, sir!" She recoiled, as she removed her hoof and turned back to them, with tiny eyes full of terror at just being yelled at. "Y-You, M-may, G-go in, N-ow." She said with a shaky tone.
"Alright then, go on in." Said a guard as he went to open the door.
At which point, after taking a deep breath, he went through; going into the room, he saw a Stallion with a white coat wearing a General's uniform, with a blue, dark blue, and white mane, wearing a black officer's cap with white trim, and as the cockade, he had a blue four-pointed star, with a white outline, and surrounded by silver oak leaves; and a human wearing a German General's uniform, similar to the ones the East German army wore, but with Imperial markings.
"Ahhh, so he's the one causing all the commotion." Said a boisterous voice with a slight German accent, which belonged to the human.
"Indeed." Said the pony.
"So you're the infamous Gen. Silver Shield I presume?" Asked Cap. Romanov.
"That I am." He answered. "And this is Prince Rainbow Von Blitz." He said as he pointed to the human.
"I thought I told you to NEVER say my first name." Seethed Von Blitz.
"My apologies, Your Highness." He said with a slight bow of his head. "And you are?" He asked Cap. Romanov.
"Captian Maxim Romanov." He answered.
"May I have a seat?"
"You may." Said Gen. Silver Shield.
"Thank you." He said as he sat down.
"Well onto business, may I see that proposal?" Asked the General.
"Yes," Started Cap. Romanov as he pulled it out. "Here." Then he slid it across the table towards the pony.
"Thank you." He said as he picked it up, pulled out the letter, and read it aloud.
After he was done, Von Blitz turned to Silver Shield. "Well, that was..." He said as he tried to find the word. "Conclusive?"
"Very..." Said Gen. Silver Shield, still mystified by what he had just read.
"You know what this means? This war is over." Said, Von Blitz.
"Indeed your highness, indeed." Said the General as he turned to Cap. Romanov.
"Cap. Romanov?" He asked.
"Yes?" Answered Cap. Romanov.
"Go tell Premier Lebedev... I accept the ceasefire, and would like to start negotiations."
"Thank you, Comrade!" Said Romanov excitedly.
"Well, what are you waiting for? GO!" Ordered Von Blitz.
"Yes, of course!" Yelled Cap. Romanov as he swiftly left.
"Well, what do we do now?" Asked the Prince.
"Now, we end this war." Said Gen. Shield victoriously.

Multiverse in conflict: A New Era
The Return of Princess Pt 1
Oct 31st, 2022
Wallburg Palace, United Kingdom of Equestria
1730 Hours
It had been little over a year since the end of the war, the Soviet surrender, and the German withdrawal. (Minus a few high ranking officers, a fleet of German space-battleships, and the German 9th Panzer army) Since then, Marshal Silver Shield (Who got promoted to Marshal of Equestria) and King Shining Armor had been tireless in their attempts to rebuild the nation, even going so far as to recruit free-market economists from earth, plus fulfilling the promises to all the soldiers who stayed in Equestria and got married. And as things were starting to look-up for the country at large, they had heard much concerning a certain Princess Twilight Sparkle. (The King's younger sister)Their citizens (As well as Shining himself) imploring them to find her and the elements of harmony, and bring them home. So there they both sat, trying to figure out what happened to them. Unfortunately, it had been a fruitless effort so far, and they couldn't find anyone or anypony who knew where they were for that matter, but unbeknownst to Marshal Shield, he had the key all along, sitting in his new palace. (Wallberg Palace) For it was a similar device to the one he used to get to Equestria, the portal disguised as a simple mirror, which two soldiers so-happened to be guarding, one a young pegasus, the other, an older earth-pony, in the basement of the palace, where it should have been extremely difficult for anypony or anyone to get inside and use.
"Ugh, is our shift over?" Asked the young pegasus impatiently, as he stood at attention outside a small room, with his colleague on the opposite side.
"No," answered the other, older guardspony in a slight Ukrainian accent.
"Why not? I wanna go home." He stated.
"Because we signed up for this." He answered annoyedly.
"And why are we standing guard over this empty room?" Asked the younger guard again.
"What's your name and rank?" He asked, turning to face him for the first time.
"Pvt. Saber Storm, and yours?" Pvt. Storm asked in return.
"Sgt. Sava Zayika, Pvt. Storm." Sgt. Zayika answered in slight annoyance.
"Oh, you must be one of those foreign ponies." He deadpanned.
"And what's wrong with that?" He asked with a glare.
"Uh, nothing!" He said in a worried tone as he looked at the ground and his ears folded down.
"That's what I thought." Said Sgt. Zayika with a huff, as he turned back to face the wall.
"So," Started Pvt. Storm awkwardly, as he did the same. "What are we guarding again?"
"Ugh, we're guarding the portal to my world." He stated bluntly.
"We're guarding a portal!?" Asked the Private, with excitement clear in his tone, and his former posture returning.
"Yes, so be quiet about it." Answered the Sargeant. "With how loud you're being, anypony could hear you from down here." He said sarcastically.
"Can we go through it?" Asked Pvt. Storm.
"No," He said.
Then Pvt. Storm walked a little closer. "Please?" He asked in his most innocent voice.
"No!" Yelled the Sargeant angrily as he turned to face him. "I will not permit you to go through, am I understood!?"
"Please?" He asked again, as he recoiled from the order.
"No!" Answered the Sargeant.
"Yes!" Said Pvt. Storm.
"NO!" Bellowed Sgt. Zayika.
"YES!" He yelled in response to the ever-growing volume.
"НІ!" (NO!) Yelled Sgt. Zayika in Ukrainian.
"YES!"
"HI!"
"YES!"
"HI!"
"NI!" Yelled Pvt. Storm as he learned the word, 'ni' (no) in Ukrainian.
"ТАК!" (YES!) Yelled Sgt. Zayika, as he fell for the old trick of saying one thing repeatedly, then switching to the opposite.
"I'll take that as a yes!" Said Pvt. Storm as he flew into the room.
"ЗАЧАКАЙТЕ, Я НЕ СКАЗУВАНО, ЩО ВИ МОЖАЛИ ЙДЕ!" (WAIT, I DON'T SAY YOU COULD GO!) Yelled Sgt. Zayika, as he chased after him. When he got inside, he saw that the room was quite decorative, as it contained two twin mirrors that were placed directly across from one another, that and Pvt. Storm appeared to be looking for the portal. "Do you even know what it is?" He asked.
"Yes, maybe," He took a deep breath. "No." He huffed in defeat.
"Well, then you can't go through if you can't even figure out what it is." Stated the Sargeant smugly.
"Oh yeah? You sure about that?" He said as a devious grin crept onto his face, and he started to look around. Then the young private's eyes landed on the mirror to his left. "Try me?" He asked as he pointed to the mirror.
"Fine, that's the portal." He smirked, knowing it was the one on the other side.
"Alright, here I go!" He said as he jumped straight through it, creating a wave effect as if it was liquid.
"ЩО!?" (WHAT!?) Screamed Sgt. Zayika, as he stared on in disbelief and his jaw fell. "T-T-That's not possible. Is it?" He asked himself in Ukrainian. "Well, only one way to find out." Then he jumped through as well. 'Wait, why did I do this? I'm supposed to be the one with common sense!' He thought as he was tossed around, pulled, and stretched inside the vortex.

Canterlot Highschool, City of Canterlot, Equestria
1828 hours
There was a bright flash of light, as Pvt. Storm flew out of the statue, and landed flat on his face. "Ow," he said as he reached up with his hoof to get up. Except, somehow, it felt strange and uncomfortable to be standing the way he was when he felt a massive force bowl him over, and a great "OOF!" escaped his lips. When he stopped rolling, he turned around to see a colourful man standing over him in a Soviet Uniform. "AHH, SOVIET!" Screamed Pvt. Storm as he instinctively grabbed his AK-74 from off his back, but when he saw his forehooves- "W-what!? I-I have HANDS!?" He yelled in horror as he put down his rifle to get a better look at his new hands that were the same dark red as his fur used to be.
"Let me help you up." Said the older man in a slight Ukrainian accent, chuckling as he extended a hand.
He took it and, as he stood up, he started to see more detail in the man's face and colour. He saw that he had split coloured hair, one half light blue, the other, an acidic yellow, he also had light blue skin and bright golden eyes. That's when he started to connect the dots. "Sargeant?" He asked as he stood up, not knowing how to walk in his new body.
"Yes, it's me, now come on, we have a job to do." Said Sgt. Zayika as he started walking the way they came.
"Uh, Sargeant, I don't know how to walk with these." He said as he tried lifting his boot only to lose his balance and fall over.
"Then let me help you. After all, I was a human before I was a pony." He laughed as he helped him up again and dusted him off.
"Thanks, I guess." He said sheepishly, as he grabbed his AK-74 off the ground where he dropped it and slung it over his shoulder.
"Well, to start, walking is pretty easy, it's just one foot in front of the other." He stated in a matter-of-factly tone as he walked back and forth.
"I see now," Said Pvt. Storm as he tried to repeat the movements.
"Good, that should keep you on your feet." Laughed the Sargeant, as he could still see a slight wobble in Pvt. Storm's step. "But enough of that, we have a job to do."
"To find the princess?" He asked.
"No, guard duty, we have to get back." Said Sgt. Zayika, as he gestured with his thumb. 'I miss being able to do this.' He thought to himself as a smirk crept onto his features.
"Do we have to? I mean, maybe we can find the Princess here?" He asked.
Then it dawned on him. 'Wait, what if the princess is here? That could get me a promotion? I mean, we didn't even know that this place existed. So, maybe we should give it a shot.' Then he looked back to face Pvt. Storm. "Fine, but we'll need to have a short look, lest Sn Lt. Crasher gives us trouble." He said as he heard cameras flashing. "Oh, what in the-" He looked and saw a large group of teenagers, probably no older than 17 years old all dressed up in Halloween costumes. "Uh, what?" 'Wait, did we seriously end up in front of a school?'
"Hey, Nice costumes!" Yelled a boy in a tuxedo with fangs as he walked up to them and had a better look.
"I think they look quite handsome." Said a girl in a dreamy tone wearing a zombie costume, as she clasped her hands to the side of her face.
"Thanks, I think it looks nice as well!" Said Pvt. Storm as a slight blush appeared on his face, and he looked away.
"Alright P-"Saber, I think we've been here long enough." Stated the Sargeant. 'Okay, no ranks. The last thing I need is to raise suspicion.' He thought as he took a deep breath.
"Hey, nice soldier impressions, it's always good to see a father and son dressed up together." One woman said with a wink to Sgt. Zayika, who was clearly, (Judging by her appearance) the mother of one of the students.
"Wait, no-" Said Sgt. Zayika while being interrupted by yet another teenager. 'Will this end already!? I also hope my wife doesn't find out about this, or I'll never hear the end of it!' He thought to himself.
"Yeah, come on guys, you'll miss the party." Said another boy, (this time wearing a pumpkin costume) then the crowd moved into, what they assumed was a school.
Then Pvt. Storm moved closer to the Sargeant. "Could we stay? Please?" He asked while attempting to use puppy dog eyes on Sgt. Zayika.
Then the Sargeant looked away and sighed in defeat. "Ugh, fine, we can stay, but we need to at least pretend that we're from here, that and hide our rifles." He sighed again, as they placed their rifles under a bush and entered the school. 'This had better work.'

Inside the School
As Pvt. Storm and Sgt. Zayika had entered the school and had hidden their weapons outside. They felt it was time to finally get some answers. So after talking to some students, they found that the princess went to this school while she was here until she graduated. Now they were on their way to the principal's office to get more information.
"Are we almost there?" Asked Pvt. Storm. "I want to party."
"Yes, but first we need to check with the principal. Just to ensure that the information we have is accurate, so we're going to ask them for her student files." Said Sgt. Zayika over his shoulder.
"Understood Sargeant," Replied Pvt. Storm, as he spotted a door with 'principal's office' written on it. "Hey Sarge, I think I found it." He said while pointing to it.
"Good, let's knock," He said as he walked over and knocked on the door.
Then they heard footsteps from inside the door. "Come in." They heard the feminine voice reply.
So, shrugging, the Sargeant opened the door, and they both entered. But when they saw who was sitting at the desk-"Your highness!?" Yelled Pvt. Storm in shock as he tried to bow, but was elbowed in the chest by Sgt. Zayika.
"Now what can I do for you two gentlemen?" Asked the white-skinned woman with multicolored hair sitting behind the desk.
"Well, principal-" He cut himself off, realizing he hadn't asked her name. "I'm sorry I don't believe I got your name." Said Sgt. Zayika.
"That's quite alright, it's Celestia." She said with a slight chuckle. "Now from the look of those clothes, I'm going to guess your not from around here, are you?"
"You would be correct to assume that." Answered Sgt. Zayika. "We are here to inquire about a certain, Princess Twilight Sparkle?" He asked. 'Here we go...'
"Well, she did go to school here, at least while she was here." She said thoughtfully.
"So she did come here?" Asked Pvt. Storm.
"Yes, she did." Answered the Principal.
"Well do you know where she is now? We have orders to find her at once, and return her to Equestria." Said Sgt. Zayika.
She sat and pondered this for a moment before she looked back at the two soldiers. "I do believe her files should be here. But I have to ask, why are you looking for her?" She asked inquisitively, as she cocked an eyebrow at them.
"I'm sorry we haven't introduced ourselves, I am Sgt. Zayika." He said as he pointed to himself, then he gestured to Pvt. Storm. "And this is Pvt. Storm. We are soldiers of the United Kingdom of Equestria. And we have been ordered by Marshal Silver Shield and King Shining Armor, to bring her and the other elements home." Answered the Sargeant.
"I see. Well just wait for one-moment while I retrieve some documents." Said Principal Celestia, as she left into a storage room.
When she came out a few minutes later, she was holding two folders. "Here you are." She said as she handed them over. "These should help you in your search."
"Thank you ever so much, Principal Celestia, how could we repay you?" Asked Pvt. Storm.
"It's alright, no need to thank me. It's just that when she came to me, she told me that Equestria was invaded by the Soviet Union. And that she was powerless to stop them-" She said, as Sgt. Zayika raised his hand. "Yes?" She asked as her patience was waning.
"I'm sorry, but I just realized, why are there two folders?" Asked Sgt. Zayika.
"Yes, there are, you see, we had two students from Equestria. The other being Sunset Shimmer." Answered Celestia.
"Well, I was wondering, could you call them, to let them know we're looking for her and her friends?" Asked Sgt. Zayika.
"I could have that arranged, but I'll need those files back." She said as she extended a hand.
"Understoo-"Yes, of course," Said Sgt. Zayika as he handed her back the files. 'I really need to stop using military answers to casual questions.' He thought to himself.
"Thank you," She said as she took them in her hands, and went to the phone, then opened the folders, and checked for their mobile phone numbers. Then she entered Twilight's on her phone before she sat back down on her desk.
"Hello?" Came the feminine voice.
"Hello, this is Principal Celestia from Canterlot Highschool. May I ask who this is?" She asked.
"Principal Celestia!?" She shouted in surprise. "How are you!? Why are you calling me!? Is there another Equestrian Magic problem!?" She asked.
Then she chuckled. "Good to know I called the right number, how are you Twilight?" Asked Principal Celestia.
"I'm doing great, but you still didn't answer my question." Said Twilight impatiently.
"Right, well, how do I put this? You remember how you and your friends came to me two and a half years ago?" She asked.
"Because we got invaded by the Soviet Union? And we were forced to live here? How could I forget?" She asked sarcastically with anger showing through when she mentioned the Soviet Union.
"Well, according to these two men." She said as she gestured to the two soldiers. "You're brother defeated them."
"WHAT!?" Shouted Twilight. "How!? When!?"
"Alright, calm down Twilight, just bring your friends to the school." She said. "After all," She looked over at the men sitting across from her. "I'm sure they would be happy to answer any questions you have."
"Okay, I'll be there in an hour," Said Twilight excitement clear in her tone. "I will go get the others! Goodbye!"
"Goodbye Twilight, I will see you when you get here." Said Principal Celestia as she got off the phone. Then she turned to face the soldiers. "Well, they will be here in one hour." She said.
"Thank you so much, Principal Celestia! I'm sure the ponies of Equestria will be only too happy to have their Princess back." Said Sgt. Zayika, as he shook her hand, got up, and called for Pvt. Storm to follow him back to the party.
