It is the 1,000th Summer Sun Celebration, 1,000 years since Princess Celestia of Equestria defeated Nightmare Moon. 1,000 years since Equestria was saved from eternal night.

It is Vanhoover’s turn to be the hosting city from which Celestia herself will raise the sun. None are prepared for what will come about though.
