Chapters It was 2:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday, Spike Draconis sat in a boardroom he was all alone, after getting caught by the police. He pulled out his backpack with an amethyst dragon emblazoned upon it. Opening a pocket, he pulled out a notebook. He marked out a name, Eleanor Draconis. One would think that Draconis is a unique last name, however 18 attempts later and Spike found out that wasn't the case. Spike sighed and ran a hand through his spiky green hair. His mind left wandering, he thought about how things got to the way they were. He looked up at the ceiling, a few tears in his eyes then looked down at a compass ball in his hand.
"I want the dragon!" A younger Spike demanded from his mother.
"I know sweetie, I know." His mother said, she shared his green hair and green eyes. Spike only knew her as mom, and while he sat on the counter she finally popped a balloon, "Finally got one!"
The man in the balloon booth handed a ball compass to Spike's mother, who in turn handed it to Spike, "But I wanted the dragon."
"I know you did, but this is better than the dragon, you can use this all your life. And no matter where you go, this will help you find your way home." She smiled.
Spike was snapped out of his memory by the opening of one of the two doors of the conference room. His head perked up and he saw his caseworker walk in. Ms. Chrysalis Beatrix. "Here we are again Spike, how many times have we seen each other by now?" She asked him.
"19...." He mumbled, looking down.
"Look sweetie, I know you think of me as some cold, unfeeling, robot who wants to keep you from your mother." She said as she sat down to the left of him, "But, I am honestly doing my best to find her. The hard is that when I try to help out, every few weeks I have to meet up with you and transfer you to another foster home because you keep running away." She said, "You're incredibly smart, and sharp as a tack. And so are these folks I'm going to send you to, but can you do me a favor?"
Spike finally met her eyes, "What?" He asked.
"Give them a chance, please? I pulled a lot of strings to arrange this. It was not easy." Chrysalis practically begged.
"M'kay." Spike agreed.
"So....Fake robbery?" She smiled, "That was pretty smart. Here's a suggestion though, it's radios or comms. Not walkie-talkies, those are toys, and police don't have toys."
"Yeah, I realized that after the dispatcher asked if I was a kid." Spike scratched the back of his head.
"Come on Spike, let's go meet your new foster parents." Chrysalis said getting up and gesturing for him to follow, she brought him into a lobby. "Spike, this is Twilight Velvet and Night Light Sparkle, Velvet is an old friend of mine. Now remember what we agreed to."
"Alright." Spike agreed.
Twilight Velvet and Night Light Sparkle shuffled to the their SUV with the preteen in tow. They opened the door for him, as Velvet got in the passenger seat and Night assumed the position of the driver. Spike closed the door behind him, then he buckled up. Night looked at Velvet, non verbally communicating that they should say something to him. Night and Velvet both turned to Spike, "Listen Spike," Night started, "I'm going to be honest with you, we weren't expecting to take a kid in so fast. So for a little bit you're going to have to sleep in the dog house."
"Night!" Velvet slapped her husband's arm, "Not the time for jokes." She scolded, "My husband doesn't know when it's appropriate to make a joke or not, however he wasn't completely lying. We weren't expecting to take someone so fast right off the bat after being approved for being foster parents, so for a little bit we're going to have you sleep in my office. It's not a permanent thing, okay?"
Spike was mostly silent, "Okay..." He agreed, after a while things like this became a blur to Spike, different vehicles, different houses, he didn't care.
"Hey, how about this? When we get home, you can have whatever you want for dinner." Velvet bargained.
"You don't want to pass up this opportunity Spike, Velvet here is a whiz in the kitchen as much as she is on the pages." Night encouraged.
"What kind of food do you like Spike?" Velvet asked.
"I like...Italian food." Spike let out.
"Well then, when we get home. I'll make some lasagna, how does that sound?" She asked him.
"That sounds pretty good..." Spike trailed off again.
Night started the SUV, and Velvet looked to her husband again. So Night mouthed, He just needs some time. Velvet nodded, and the duo turned trio were off. Spike looked forlornly out the window of the vehicle, not really paying attention to anything. His eyes grew heavy as he looked out the window, soon they drooped and he was asleep. Half an hour passed before they got to the Sparkle residence. Velvet turned around to spot the preteen asleep, she gently place a hand on his knee and shook it. Startling the preteen awake, he raised his fists. "Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you."
Spike was still a bit weary of lowering his guard, "W-Where are we?" He asked.
"At our house," Night said before he spotted some other vehicles, he tapped his wife's arm. "Vel, Twilight invited her friends over."
"Twilight?" Spike asked, slowly lowering his fists.
"Twilight is our teenage daughter, to make a long story short before I was pregnant with Twilight. The oaf in the driver's seat made a bet with me, saying that if we had another child we would name them after ourselves depending on if the baby was a boy or a girl." Velvet explained, "To make it easier on you Spike, you can call me Velvet, Vel, or TV if you want to be funny." She smiled.
"A-Another child?" Spike asked.
"Yes, we currently have two children. Shining Armor Sparkle, and Twilight Aurora Sparkle. Shining is staying with us for a few weeks while he prepares for military school. Then after he goes, his room will be all yours." Night explained, "Twilight, invited some of her friends from school over and seems she forgot to ask."
"Do you want to handle it or shall I?" Velvet asked.
"I'll take care of it," Night volunteered, "Twilight needs a stern but gentle reminder to ask permission first." He then turned off the car after pulling into the driveway and got out.
"She's not going to be in trouble is she?" Spike asked which caused Velvet to almost immediately snap her attention to Spike.
"No, she's not going to be in trouble Spike." Velvet assured him, "Twilight can get a little, too into herself. Then on occasion, she ignores things that she shouldn't. It's not often, and she's getting better at it. Why do you ask?"
"I don't want anyone getting hurt because of me." Spike mumbled, but Velvet had enough experience dealing with mumbling children that she picked up on it.
"Twilight is not going to be in trouble because of you, I promise. Her actions and inactions, and subsequent consequences on all on her. That's her responsibility, not yours." Velvet said.
"Okay." Spike said whilst looking down and fidgeting with his fingers.
"Is something wrong Spike?" Velvet asked, however this time she didn't get a response, Velvet was informed of Spike's history of running away. She chewed on the inside of her cheek then smiled, "You want to know a secret?" Spike looked up at her, "I was in foster care too."
"Y-You were?" Spike asked.
"Yeah, I was." Velvet admitted, "I ran away a lot too. I think I ran away...9 times. It was scary always going back to the social services building."
"Yeah it is. I bet Chrysalis is mad at me." Spike concluded.
"Don't mind Scydosella, she's always been mad that her parents named her after a beetle." Velvet revealed Chrysalis' first name to her new ward.
"Side o sella?" Spike pronounced confusedly.
"Scydosella." Velvet then spelled it out for Spike, "It's short for scydosella musawasensis. Apparently her parents were Entomologists and decided that Scydosella would be a perfect first name. Imagine having to spell that when you're in kindergarten, she goes by her middle name instead now." She joked and Spike actually cracked a little smile. Okay, so there is a smile under all that frowning. Then Spike immediately turned it back into a frown. She gulped and started talking to Spike again, "So, she told me that you ran away from almost 15 different foster homes."
"Y-Yeah." Spike shrank a little bit.
Pull it back a little Vel. She scolded herself, "She also said you're looking for your mom."
"I am." Spike replied.
"She also told me that you're one of the smartest boys that she had ever met." Velvet complimented, "We're no stranger to smart kids, after all Twilight's got her own science lab in the backyard shed." Velvet said.
"Isn't that...dangerous?" Spike asked.
"Truth be told, it can be. However, we're the ones responsible for purchasing the chemicals and other components that she uses. Last time she went over budget and racked up $900 worth of parts and chemicals. She didn't have access to her lab until she knew the meaning of that." Velvet told Spike.
"O-Okay." Spike mumbled again.
You're losing him. Velvet's mind chimed in once more, "Spike, I know that there's no replacement for your own mother. So I'll cut you a deal." That got the boy's attention, "If you stay with us for a month, after that I'll try my best to help you find your mom. Okay?"
Spike gulped, none of his other foster parents had offered him something like that. "Promise?" He said without thinking.
Velvet held out her pinkie finger, and soon Spike interlocked it with his. "You have to do one other thing for me though."
Spike's eyes widened slightly, "What's that?" He asked.
"You have to go to school, you don't have to be a perfect straight A student, but you have to at least pull your weight in your classes. Alright?" She asked.
"I-I can do that." Spike said.
"Then I'll do my best to help, I promise." Velvet said, and then the figure of Night came back to the vehicle waving for them to come in. Velvet smiled at her husband and nodded. Then she turned back to Spike, "You ready to come inside?"
"I...I think so." Spike said nervously.
"Alright then sweetie, I'll get to work on that lasagna." Velvet said as she unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door, which prompted Spike to follow suit. The sound of two closing doors echoed through the carport and Velvet walked up the stairs to join her husband that had decided to stand in the doorway. Spike readjusted his backpack, and took a deep breath. Every step feeling like a mile in his mind, objects in his backpack jostling around. He soon started going up the stairs, which made him feel like he was climbing up the stairwell of the tallest building in Manehattan, the scent of lavender welcomed him home.
Spike entered the Sparkle residence with Night closing the door behind him, "Twilight and her friends are upstairs, so is Shining Armor. I've asked them to come down and meet you. Not all of Twilight's friends however. I think you'd kinda get overwhelmed and I don't want to subject you to that kind of torture." Night joked, Spike said nothing to acknowledge Night's presence. Spike was taking in the surroundings, he saw doors and windows and was already planning an escape route. He then thought about the promise he made to Velvet and shook his head. Night took notice of this, "Something wrong Spike?" He asked.
"J-Just shaking an idea out of my head." Spike replied.
"Ahh, I get it. How about you hand your stuff over to me and I'll get you set up in Vel's office okay?" Night offered his hand and Spike backed up a bit, clutching his backpack strap tighter to his torso. Night noticed this, "Or you can keep it on you, you don't have to hand it over."
Spike took notice, "S-Sorry, it's just that one of the foster homes I was in-"
"Took a lot of your things and sold them." Night finished, "Which is why you keep everything close to you. Chrys let us know, if you want you can hand them over. But you don't have to. I was just being polite because you seem to be having some trouble lugging your backpack around with you everywhere."
"I-I'll be fine." Spike said.
"Well, I tried." He then peaked into the living room after hearing a shouting Twilight and where Velvet had brought in Shining and Twilight in tow, "Ready to meet your roommates?" He asked the preteen.
"I guess so..." Spike said.
Twilight took her time getting down the stairs, walking with crutches is not something she was used to. Grumbling to herself as she went down the stairs, "Stupid stairs, stupid crutches, stupid susceptible foot and toes."
"What was that Grumblina?" Shining teased as he passed her in the stairway.
"Shut it Shining!" Twilight shouted, only to be scolded by her mother.
"What was that I heard Twilight?" Velvet asked as she stood at the bottom.
"N-Nothing mom." Twilight was already in trouble for inviting her friends without permission.
"Uh-huh." Velvet said, "Look the doctor said you would only be on crutches for another month, then you can wear a big bulky boot." She smiled as she teased her daughter.
"Hehe." Twilight forced a smile.
"Can I ask what this family meeting is about?" Shining requested as he sat down on the couch.
"Honey, are you trying to get on my nerves?" Velvet asked her oldest child.
"MAY I ask what this family meeting is about?" Shining corrected himself.
"Yes you may, before Twilight got home from school and before you got home from the library, your father and I received a phone call from an old friend of mine, Chrysalis."
"Cadence's Aunt?" Shining asked.
"Yes her, she asked for us to take in a boy because we just applied and were accepted to become foster parents." Velvet explained.
"F-FOSTER PARENTS!" Twilight shouted.
"Twilight Sparkle you will keep your voice down." Velvet said sternly.
"S-Sorry mommy." Twilight immediately retracted while her cheeks had a faint crimson shade to them.
"Yes, we were approved to be foster parents." Velvet repeated herself.
"I have a question. Why?" Shining asked.
"Because you're leaving for your military academy and if it weren't for Twilight becoming a literal magic archangel she would've gone off to college and not given us a second thought." Velvet expressed, then sighed. "Sorry, sweetie." She apologized to her daughter because she knew that she was bringing up a very recent bad memory.
"I-It's okay mom." Twilight said.
Velvet breathed through her nose, "Anyways, Night and I are incredibly proud of both of you. However, the thought of having a big empty house to just the two of us felt...off. So we applied to be foster parents. Were we expecting to take on a child so fast? No, we weren't we only did so because a friend asked me to and he's a bit of a special case."
"Special as in...?" Twilight pointed to her head.
"No sweetie, not that kind of special. He has a problem with running away from the foster homes he's placed in. He's constantly trying to find his mom." Velvet clarified, "For right now, he'll be sleeping in my office. When Shining moves out in a few weeks, he's going to take Shining's room. Sound fair?"
"But, you said I could turn Shining's room into a lab..." Twilight said.
"That was before you turned the tool shed into your lab." Velvet pointed out which stopped that idea dead in its tracks.
Twilight was going to protest, except she was cut off by her father. "Twilight, Shining. This is Spike, Spike these are our children. Twilight and Shining." Night introduced the two to the green haired boy.
Spike had met other children before, foster children, biological children, or even adopted ones. He never gave a thought to remember their names, however Twilight and Shining stood out in his mind. He briefly met their eyes before looking down, the quartet turned quintet were silent for a good half a minute before Spike pointed at the signed cast on Twilight's left foot. "H-How did that happen?" Spike asked, breaking the silence.
Shining, whom like to take after his father in the inappropriate joke timing decided to pipe up with this gem. "Her friend pushed her out of a window, it gets real Game of Thrones around here." He smiled.
"Shining Armor Sparkle!" Velvet nearly screeched, "What did I just say not even a minute ago?"
Shining opened his mouth, his father cut him off. "Son, tis better to be silent and have everyone think you're a fool. Than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."
"I'm sorry..." Shining concluded, "It was a joke."
"And a bad one at that." Twilight commented, then turned to Spike. "The truth is that I got upset and kicked a metal cabinet when one of my experiments didn't go the way I wanted to. I fractured my toe, it's no one's fault but my own."
"I-Isn't it better to fail and learn what you did wrong than to get angry at the act of failure itself?" Spike asked Twilight.
"That's a very good point kiddo." Night patted Spike on his shoulder, which caused the boy to jump slightly, he then calmed down.
"Little nervous Spike?" Shining asked.
"This is the 20th time I've moved into a new foster home. I've seen families put up a nice front, only to find out they're in it for the checks from social services." Spike stated, "So I am a little apprehensive." Night and Velvet were thrown into a stunned silence, they looked at each other. Not only was this the most Spike had said when he had entered their lives but finding out something like that would facilitate repeat offenses of running away. Spike then spoke up again, returning to his former demeanor. "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that."
It's like he's a younger male version of Fluttershy, but there's something else under there. Just who are you Spike? Twilight thought to herself, and she decided to speak up after Spike. "Don't apologize for telling the truth." This garnered a look of confusion from Spike, she then hobbled over to the preteen and held out her hand. Spike looked at it, then slowly took it in a handshake. "I'm Twilight Aurora Sparkle, it's nice to meet my new...roomate. You can call me Twilight." Twilight formally introduced herself, "And you are?"
"Spike Heathcliff Draconis." Spike replied shaking her hand, "You can call me Spike."
"Would you like to meet my friends?" Twilight offered to the preteen.
"Can I put my stuff down first?" Spike asked Twilight.
"Sure thing." Twilight turned to her mom, "Mom where's he sleeping?"
"He's going to be on the pullout in my office." Velvet stated, a mix of shock and pride that Twilight had decided to take this so well including taking the initiative.
"It gets cold in there around this time of year, so we might want to pull out more blankets for him." Twilight suggested, then she moved her way to the stairs. Looking back at Spike. "What are you waiting for slowpoke?" Twilight asked Spike, whom followed after her. They gradually made their way up the stairs, "Over here is my room on the right, Mom's office is on the end of the hallway, Mom and Dad's room is across from mom's office, Shining's room is to the left of Mom and Dad's room, and the bathroom is in between my room and mom's office." Twilight explained.
"Thanks." Spike thanked her, "I don't want to keep you from your friends."
"Oh they can wait, they come over all the time. I wanna know about you. Do you have any favorite books?" Twilight asked as they moved towards the office.
"Well....I like comic books...do those count?" Spike asked.
Twilight started to laugh and then, "Do comic books..." She stopped as soon as she saw the look on Spike's face. "Of course they count. Which comic book is your favorite?" She asked him as they opened the door and turned on the light. Twilight helped Spike prepare as she asked him all kinds of topics, his favorite food, favorite kind of music, favorite subject in school, favorite non-comic book. Pretty soon, Spike was set up. Twilight looked at him before she left him to get himself settled, "And Spike?" She asked.
"Yes?" He looked at her, a warm smile plastered across her face.
"Welcome home."

Damn it, made myself tear up at the end.
Any and all criticism is accepted.
When Twilight hobbled back into her room there was quite the commotion behind the door, hushed whispers and questions being thrown around. She stood on her crutches and opened the door, the girls sitting around and on her bed, Sunset helped her friend onto her own bed. She was curious, so she couldn't stop herself from asking Twilight this, "So we heard you outside talking to someone, who was it?"
Twilight said nothing at first, looking at her friends. "Before I say anything else, I want all of you to listen to me before rushing off."
Everyone stared at Pinkie whom replied with, "What?"
"Sugarcube, whenever there is someone new in town, you always rush off to give them a welcome to Canterlot party. Even when they're obviously uncomfortable with it." Applejack told Pinkie.
"I...didn't know he was agoraphobic." Pinkie tried and failed to defend herself, her hair deflating slightly. "Okay I get your point."
"Back to what I was saying, to answer your question Sunset, yes I was talking to someone. Something recently happened and well, there's going to be a boy living with my parents and I for a bit after my brother moves out to attend Sentinel Military Academy."
"So wait a minute," Rainbow started, "Are you saying that you now have a foster brother?"
Twilight messed with her fingers, "I guess?"
"So what's his name?" Rarity asked her bespectacled friend.
"His name is Spike Draconis." Twilight said, then Fluttershy spoke up.
"His name reminds me of..." The animal caretaker noticed the grimace on her bespectacled companion's face, "....Sorry."
"You're fine Flutters, I just...miss him." Twilight didn't say anything beyond that.
"Changing the subject." Rarity attempting her best to be tactful, and floundering at it. "Does this boy have any interests?"
"He likes comic books, so there's that. I was about to say they weren't real books but I then saw the look on his face, I was about to crush his feelings. I think refraining from doing that was the best course of action." Twilight snapping her attention the fashionista.
"Do you want to try and coax him out?" Sunset asked.
"He looked, skittish." Twilight told the girls, "At least that's the best way to describe it, he has been in and out of a lot of foster homes. Some of them, worse than others."
"How'd ya mean Twi?" Applejack asked.
"He...he said that some of them only took him in for the benefit from the checks distributed by Social Services." Twilight stated nervously.
That caused several audible gasps to emanate from the room. The chatter continued and down the hall in the office of Twilight Velvet, Spike sat on the pull out bed. "The walls aren't as thick as they would think." Spike whispered to himself, he then chastised himself for saying such a thing. You made a promise Draconis, you promised that you would give them a chance. Spike took a deep breath, and stood up. He grabbed his ball compass and slipped it into his pocket. He opened the door, which the hinges on it hadn't been oiled in a while given the loud squeaking noises they were giving off. The chatter soon turned to whispers as Spike held on to that compass like a life preserver for a passenger that went overboard. He took slow steps towards Twilight's bedroom, after he stopped to stare at the periwinkle and white star with five smaller stars surrounding it adorning the well...door. He took a huge deep breath as he slowly raised his fist and knocked. The whispers in the room went dead silent, then started back up again. Spike's heart was hammering away in his prepubescent ribcage, after a long pause the door opened up. Spike's breath hitched as he saw Twilight stood before him again, "Hi." He started.
"Hi." Twilight continued.
"You asked if I wanted to meet your friends?" Spike repeated her question from earlier.
"I hope this means yes?" Twilight asked.
"Just one thing though, could you please not talk about me when I'm not in the room?" He asked. Twilight grew pale, she remembered that the walls can be pretty thin, the whispering behind her soon quieted, "I mean, I don't talk about you when you're not in the room." Spike started to ramble, "Mostly cause I don't know you..." He then took his other hand that wasn't gripping his compass and rubbed the arm attached to the hand that was.
"I'm sorry." Twilight spoke up, "I just wanted to inform my friends of what was happening, and I went a little too far didn't I?" Spike said nothing to reply, "I promise that I won't reveal anything about you that you don't want me to. I wanted to get you comfortable and I'm already screwing up."
"What was that Twilight?" Velvet asked from the kitchen.
"N-Nothing mommy!" Twilight blushed again, then grumbled."I swear that woman has hearing like a bat."
"That's two for the swear jar!" Velvet replied, "One for the swear another for the sass young lady, do not attempt to go for a third!"
"Would you like to come in?" Twilight asked Spike after she received her talking to from her mom.
"Y-Yes please." Spike slowly walked in, looking around he saw the other girls in the room.
"Spike," Twilight started, "This is Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy. Girls, this is Spike." Twilight lay a hand on his shoulder and had him recoil a bit, however he relaxed as soon as he knew it was just her.
"Hi Spike, pleasure to meet you." Sunset held out her hand and he stared at it.
"I'm not a...touching person..." Spike mumbled.
Twilight shot a glance to Pinkie who then nodded. Sunset lowered her hand, "That's alright. No one is telling or asking you to anything you don't want to."
Spike looked around, Fluttershy picked up his behaviors. He was behaving like a cornered animal that didn't want to be touched, "You're looking for an escape route aren't you?" She asked him.
That question caused him to freeze, "F-Force of habit." He mumbled.
Dealing with Spike right now was the equivalent of dealing with a time bomb that had a random countdown timer, it could be at 1 billion or negative 3 and Twilight was actively trying to defuse it with toenail clippers. Needless to say Twilight was nervous, and everyone could tell.
"How about this?" Pinkie Pie suggested, "Since Twilight shared something about you, we all share something about ourselves! Something we don't usually tell others! That way you know something about us and we know something about you?"
"R-Really?" Spike asked.
"I'll go first!" Pinkie said, "As you heard my name is Pinkie Pie, like duh doy!" She gestured at herself, "I work in a bakery and so when I'm all alone and closing up, sometimes I like to cover myself in blueberries and flower and pretend I'm a muffin!"
Spike actually chuckled at that, "Do you throw away the blueberries?" He asked.
"Duh doy! I wouldn't want to jeopardize Sugar Cube Cafe! Though they do ask where they go from time to time." Pinkie smiled while scratching the back of her head.
"I think I shall go next." Rarity said, "I, Rarity Belle. I secretly love to get dirty."
Spike was now confused, "Um, okay..."
"I believe it will take a little more explaining Rarity." Sunset offered.
"Very well. I'm what you would call a socialite, I am doing my best to break into the world of fashion and with that comes a certain set of rules, and one of these rules is to be organized and clean all the time!" Rarity exclaimed, "So, I might sometimes, make things purposely dirty or disorganized so that I can have an outlet of sorts. This includes myself, hence why I like the mud baths at the spa so much."
"I guess that makes sense." Spike mumbled.
"Trust me sugarcube, once you get to know her a little bit more. It will." Applejack informed Spike, "And with that, I suppose I should spill my guts a bit too." She took off her hat, "As much as I hate to admit this, I actually have 3 siblings. If ya decide to stick around Spike, you'll meet two of them, their names are Big Macintosh; my older brother and Apple Bloom; my little sis. However, I also have a little brother and when he was born as it turned out he was born with autism. The reason why no one ever sees him, is because he was sent to a special boarding school that helps him understand himself better."
"Wow." Spike said, "I- dunno what to say."
"You don't have to say nuthin' sugarcube." Applejack assured, "Everyone knew 'cept you."
Fluttershy decided that it was her turn to say something, "I help my friend grow weed." She squeaked out, "It's all medicinal!"
Spike's jaw dropped, out of all the things her heard tonight this was the most shocking. "Uh..."
"My friend Tree Hugger is...very into the 60's lifestyle." Fluttershy emphasized, "So she grows her own medicinal marijuana. I only help her with watering, which is why I keep a spare set of clothes on me in a vacuum sealed bag, I was pulled over by the cops once and was given a warning for the smell."
"Can't believe you went with that one Shy." Rainbow Dash commented, "I guess I'm up, I'm Rainbow Dash and I'm an alcoholic." She then received a smack on the arm from Applejack, "Alright, jeez." She took a deep breath, "Truth is I'm an athlete, and during my time off after school and sometimes on the weekends, I like to go to garage sales and look for Teenie Babies."
"Huh." Spike said, "You do know that they're virtually worthless right?"
"Yeah I do, but they're everywhere and they're so adorable that I can't help but pick one up at a bargain every time I come across one." She said, "And if this gets out I swear-"
"Rainbow! Less violence, more valentine." Twilight warned whilst waving the end of one of her crutches at her.
"Well I guess it's me now." Sunset said, "I'm actually an interdimensional traveler, I originally take the form of a pony, there's pony counterparts for almost everyone at Canterlot High which I'm guessing is where you'll be attending with us soon enough." She put bluntly. Spike was so silent, in fact so was everyone in the room. "What?"
Author's Note
Apologies for the delay, job hunting is a bitch.
Originally I had Applejack confess that she was bisexual as well but I thought that revealing that she had a younger brother, that of which I take NO CREDIT in conceiving, would be a better secret.
And yeah Flutter butter does partake...occasionally.
