Chapters In the ruins, laid a child. This child was looking at a patch of flowers when a tiny human came up to them
"My time is running out. Goodbye. By the way...
Frisk. ... take care of Mom and Dad for me, OK?" The monster goat kid said before the kid walked away. The monsters name was Asriel Dreemurr. After a battle to save the world ensued, Asriel released all of the souls and monster souls to break the barrier. Now Asriel stood alone. Waiting to turn into a flower again. But not until a dark figure appeared right behind Asriel.
"Ahhh!" Asriel screamed the figure chuckled under his breath.
"Do not fret, child. For I am going to give you another chance at life." The figure said to asriel.
Asriel was confused to say the least, but was happy and a little excited. But he didn't know if the figure was telling the truth or not.
"Are you kidding?" Asriel question while his eyes grew wide.
"No I am not. I will give you a second chance… but you'll have the powers of the god of hyperdeath along with a new soul… along with you being tele-" "DO IT DO IT!!!" The figure was cut off but chuckled. He then summoned a portal under Asriel. He fell in as the figure waved at Asriel.
He then woke up in a bed he checked his soul and sure enough, he had one. he was happy but then focused on his surroundings. The walls were made out of crystal. Asriel was astonished that structures Like this were built on the surface. He looked around for a little bit. Until he heard the door creak open. Asriel let out a cute 'eep!' and started to cower. This was this first time he felt fear. In fact, it was the first time in forever he felt any kind of feelings. Asriel looked in the doorway. shocked beyond words. What stood in the doorway was a girl, at least from what he could guess, it was difficult to see her.
She wore a long light blue dress that fell almost to floor in a windswept, yet somewhat restrained fashion and a tiara with a pink crystal star at the top. She was as tall as him, with a small horn on her head just above the top of her hairline and two disproportionately large wings seated on her back, topped off with a head of dark purple hair with blue highlights through it. She had a heart shaped face with big, curious opal eyes that were currently alight with happiness as she ran into the room, coming to a halt beside the large king sized bed, all but bouncing off the walls. Asriel looked confused. She wasn't human, nor monster... What was she?
"Your awake! I thought you might not be able to wake up." The creature said to Asriel. He was confused about the whole ordeal, so he used check on her without her noticing.
Name: Flurry
Species: Alicorn
ATK: 3
DEF: 2
A young pony princess with a kind heart. She is so excited to see you.
"U-ummm… hi—" He was cut off by her hugging him tightly. It was weird, because he just met this girl. But then his air supply started to be cut off. He bleated.
"Too tight, too tight!" He said to Flurry. She let out a squeak as she let him go quickly when he cried out, a dark blush on her smiling face. “Sorry, I was just really excited. I really didn’t think you were gonna get out of this bed. Oh, are you comfy? Is the bed too soft? I really like it to be plush enough it feels like I’m sinking, but I know a lot of people don’t like that, but you don’t really seem like an Equestrian-"
Asriel smiled a bit as he listened to the girl’s rambling before placing his hand over her mouth. “The bed is fine.” He pulled his hand away. “I like that feeling. It makes me feeling like I’m on a cloud-“
“Drifting through a calm sky.” The girl smiled and giggled a bit as she extended her hand. “Princess Flurry Heart.”
he tentatively took her hand in his, pressing his lips to it. "Howdy! My name is Asriel Dreemurr, Former prince of the underground. Pleasure to meet your highness."
She giggled, her face flushing lightly. “Just Flurry is okay.”
Asriel blushed a bit as he looked around the room again, closing his eyes as they traveled to floor, which was still reflecting the sun’s light.
"Uhh… Flurry… Don't mind me asking, but where am I?" He asked while looking around the bedroom.
Flurry cocked her head to the side in confusion. “Well, you’re in my room, silly.”
"Well I know that, silly! but where is your room located at though." Asriel asked her. She looked at him like he was a weird guy. “You’re in the Crystal Empire, a kingdom in the northern reaches of Equestria.”
'Equestria? What about the surface and the underground? Am I in another universe or planet? Did that guy just give me a SOUL and the power of my GOD form and the SOUL power and just teleported me here?' Asriel thought to himself. He was about to get up He felt a hand on his shoulder and looked over at the young female. “You shouldn’t be moving. You need more time to rest.” she said jestering to the cuts and bruises on Asriel's body. He checked his HP and got good results. He was now Incapable of taking damage. He did heal them and got up giving Flurry Heart a nice warm smile that gave her a little blush. As he got up and getting used to having legs for now on, letting out a sigh of relief as he could now freely look around. The room was every bit as spacious as he thought, but it was just as you would expect for a little girls room. A large vanity sat beside the eastern window, next to that was an even larger wardrobe. The curtains hanging around the window matched her coats color, same as the ones on the posts of her bed, the sheets of which matched her eyes.
"What was that heart thing that came out of your chest?" She asked Asriel. He directed his attention to Flurry and gave out a sigh.
"Do you promise not to be freaked out for about what I'm about to say?" Asriel asked her while looking at her seriously. She nodded to him. He gave out another sigh.
"This is a SOUL. A monsters SOUL. Want to hear more?" Asriel asked Flurry. She nodded in response. "A monster's SOUL is weak and does not persist after death unless said monster is a Boss Monster. Monsters believe that love, hope, and compassion compose a monster's SOUL. Human SOULs, which are much stronger, do not need any of these traits. Nearly every monster SOUL in the Underground equates to the power of one human SOUL." Flurry looked at Asriel in shock as he explained to her. Fear started to overwhelm her for no apparent reason. Asriel started to worry about not being accepted.
"I-im not a bad monster, I'm a good one I swear! I mean about boss monster's earlier right? I am one! I just don't resort to Fighting alot" he said to Flurry. She started to calm down and Asriel did as well.
"Sorry about that… I get a little bit paranoid sometimes." Flurry said to Asriel. He hugged her and smiled. "Thank you Flurry, you are the best." Asriel said giving Flurry a slight blush.
"By the way, how old are you?" Flurry said to Asriel. He then let go and smiled warmly.
"Eight years old, you?" Asriel said to Flurry. She then smiled widely and proudly.
"I'm Nine! Today's my birthday!" She said to Asriel. He looked surprised and then smiled again.
"Well Happy Birthday!" Asriel congratulated her while he then patted her on the head she blushed again. How many times does she have to blush? But anyway, Asriel was then directed to the door because he then sensed a huge amount of magic energy coming closer the huge doors creaked open revealing another female, an (rather well developed) adult this time. Her eyes were nearly the same shade as Flurry’s hair, a deep violet color that seemed to be brimming with unfettered love, though it was tamed in some sense. Her hair was more of an eye catcher than that of the girl’s, being three different colors, a bright blonde, dark pink, and deep purple. She wore a simple outfit, a yellow sundress with an open red blouse.
Like Flurry Heart, she also bore a horn on her head and a large pair of wings on her back. Must be her mother.

The mother of Flurry Heart and the princess of love.
"Look who just woke up! How are you doing dear?" She said softly to Asriel. Her voice reminded him of Toriel. Flurry went up to her mother and hug her.
"Is that your mother Flurry?" Asriel asked while scratching his floppy ear. Flurry nodded at Asriel. He waved at her mother.
"Howdy Mrs.Cadenza! I'm Asriel, Asriel Dreemurr! Former prince of the Monster and the underground... Nice monsters." Asriel said while covering his face with his ears bashfully and bleated. He then put his hands down as his ears flopped back in place. Asriel bowed his head in respect, earning a little mumble of ‘He didn’t bow for me’ from a pouting Flurry. Then she blushed after looking down at her hand. Cadence giggled lightly and pat Asriel’s head. “Cadence works just fine, Asriel." She smiled at Asriel as he let out a little bleat. She then sees that Asriel no longer has the cuts and bruises on his body.
"What happened to your cuts and bruises?" She asked with curiosity. Asriel then looked at her with a confused stare before realizing what she was talking about.
"Oh my bruises? I healed them with magic. Not like it matters or anything. I really can't get hurt." Asriel explained to Cadence while she gave a confused stare back at Asriel. “Well, regardless of how tough you are, you’re still a growing boy, or whatever it is you are. You’ll be joining us for dinner.” The princess turned to walk out of the room, the Goat kid opening his mouth to argue. “And no, that wasn’t a request. Your outfit has been repaired and is in Flurry’s wardrobe. I’ll have the guards standing by in case you need help. Come along, Flurry. Papa is waiting for you.”
Flurry’s face lit up as she started out the door, hollering about daddy being home. Asriel watched, in a mixture of sadness. He remembered about when he was eating with his mother, father, and Chara. He does still yearn for those days, despite Chara being an awful influence and tried to wipe out an entire human village.
Asriel blushed as he allowed himself to be pulled along by the older child, pulling her seat out for her as they got to the table. This actually made the girl’s over protective father smile a bit. “Nice to see the kid has good manners.” He stood up from his seat, walking over to an increasingly wary Asriel, extending a hand. He easily towered over Asriel, wearing a red and blue outfit that fit somewhere between regal and militaristic. It complimented his paler complexion and, like his daughter and wife, he had a large, white horn sticking from his forehead. “Prince Shining Armor.”

DEF: 151
The husband of Cadence and father of Flurry. He’s almost similar to Undyne, minus the boulder suplexing and etc.
“A-Asriel Dreemurr.” He said, taking the princes hand and giving it a shake.
“Armor, stop interrogating the colt. He hasn’t killed anybody.” Cadence said with a smirk, noticing the immediate tension in Asriel’s shoulders. “Right?”
Memories that he wanted gone were starting to show themselves again. Countless resets… Dust… The sadistic grin on his flower counterpart… Pleads of mercy… all that reside out of boredom. Countless friendships… Countless promises… that made him look down at his feet.
“C’mon don’t give me that. I’ll see you soon... Asriel =)” a voice said in his mind. To make sure they weren't in their body he checked in his SOUL. Nothing there. Nor did he see anyone… or traces of Chara.
“No, you’re right. His past is just that. Take a seat, Asriel.” The man said, noticing the boys tension as well as said boy sat beside his daughter.
All eyes were on Asriel as he sat quietly, fiddling with one of his ears. His face grew steadily warmer as he tried desperately to look for some kind of conversation. His stomach found one for him, his blush deepening.
Flurry giggled off to his side as the adults shared a laugh. “Getting hungry, Asriel?” Celestia asked, smirking behind her now empty wine glass.

Asriel scratched his chin wondering what the last part meant. He dismisses it and snaps his conscious back to reality.
“O-oh yeah i guess…” he said in embarrassment.
He smiled as well before turning back to ask why they would be drinking alcohol at a nine year olds birthday, his question being lost as a guard, a pegasus, pushed open the door to the large dining area. He walked over to the table and knelt before the royals and their guest. “My ladies and sirs, Princess Twilight, Lord Spike and the Elements of Harmony have arrived.” The guard looked up at Asriel as those in attendance thanked him. “Sir Asriel, how is your wounds? Still hurting?” Asriel shook his head and raised his shirt, revealing no scars. Flurry blushed at the sight of his furry belly. Even though he was young, he had just a little bit of muscle.
“And don’t call me Sir Asriel, just call me Asriel.” He said while he put his shirt down. Much to Flurry’s disappointment. The door opens in which Asriel’s green eyes turning to see the new visitors.
One of them, the one up front, was a young woman that had a lightly tanned complexion with dark purple hair with pink highlights and a large set of wings on her back, complimented by a horn, another with a near white complexion with deep purple hair and a very pregnant belly as well as another horn, a tanned woman with a rainbow colored hairdo and an almost military like uniform with a few custom touches to it, such as a place for her wings to stick out from.

She is kinda like Papyrus but achieved their lifelong dream and is VERY cocky. Don’t stroke her ego too much.
Then there was another with a farmers tan and sunburst blonde hair with a cowgirl's hat on. Oddly enough, she didn’t have any traits like the others did, seeming like a regular human in his eyes. And then last female was a pale young woman with light pink hair who seemed to be hiding behind the last guest, her wings covering her face, but the last one threw him for a loop.

It looked like a purple humanoid dragon. He was mostly human from a first glance, but a quick look around told the story. His forearms were covered in amethyst scales, tipped with emerald green claws. To top it off, he had a massive set of leathery wings seated on his back as well as a tail longer than Asriel’s whole body behind him. Also somewhat disconcerting was the fact that he towered over everyone in the room, being at least seven and a half feet tall. He was nearly as tall as Papyrus.

A dragon with a child on his way. Likes eating gems.
Flurry’s face lit up as she saw their guests walking into the room, jumping out of her seat and running to the purple haired. “Aunty Twily!”
Twily, Princess Twilight, from Asriel’s Checking, squealed as she knelt down to pick up her little niece. Then, the oddest, and quite possibly the funniest thing happened as the two broke away.
“Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake, clap your hands and do a little shake!” Everyone smiled at the sight, the dragon simply rolling his eyes, everyone except Asriel, who didn’t know if he should be horrified, laugh uncontrollably, or just stay quiet, so he chose to stay quiet. No point in making the situation odder.
Cadence smiled as she watched her daughter jump into her father, Shining Armor’s, arms, squealing happily as he spun her around. “She doesn’t get to see him very often anymore. Being both a prince and Captain of the Royal Guard, he doesn’t have much time to spend just being a father.” She turned back to Asriel, seeing his far away gaze. He wasn’t there, he was back in the darkness of the past. About how Chara ate the buttercups, fallen terribly I'll, died and then tried to take control of his body.
He jumped when he felt a soft hand on his shoulder, looking up to see an even softer gaze in the eyes of the princess. They stayed that way for several moments before Cadence backed away. “Aren’t you going to ask me what’s wrong?”
"It's a little personal…" Asriel said while looking away.
She shook her head, still smiling. “When you grow to trust us, I’m sure you’ll tell us. I’m patient. Now get dressed. Dinner’s gonna be late enough as it is.” She said, excusing herself from the room. Asriel just stared at her when she went out of the room.
"I have so many questions!" He said to himself as he got up to get dressed.
…
“So, where is this young man that you were telling me about, Flurry?” Celestia asked as she took another drink of her wine, Cadence refusing to let them eat until their guests got there.
“He’s probably getting dressed. Mom told him he was gonna join us for dinner. You know how persuasive she can be. And he’s a boy, but he’s not an Equestrian, I don’t think.” The young princess said, an air of grace around her that had not been there before.
Theirs was a relatively small dinner. The Crystal Nobles were joined by the princesses of the sun and moon, Celestia and Luna, as well as soon to be joined by the princess of friendship, her assistant, one of the best pastry chefs in Equestria who just so happened to have provided the chefs with the pastry recipes for the night, and the rest of the Elements of Harmony. It was a special occasion, after all. It was Flurry Hearts ninth birthday.
“Oh, then what is he?” Luna asked as she finished her second glass of wine, Shining Armor sitting in solemn silence as he watched his little girl’s face light up for the hundredth time tonight. It seemed whenever he came up, she became excited.
As Flurry opened her mouth to speak another voice filled the air space."'u-uhh howdy…" A small voice said while Asriel slowly walked into the room.
Flurry hopped up out of her chair and ran over to the boy, grabbing his hand and trying to tug him to the table. “Come sit by me! Come on!”
