It feels like its been ages ago since I'd been in a coma... I don't remember what knocked me out really... Hell, I don't know how it even started... I was happily walking to work, about to receive my paycheck, hoping I would get a hefty payment since I worked myself out at the shop this past month... Probably got 2500 pix(ᚖ ), which would definitely cover the cost of living here with ᚖ 500 to spare... But I was about to cross the street and began to feel rumbling underneath my hooves... Almost felt like an earthquake but something seemed off, it had some sort of pattern to it... Like a pulse, it started slow and steadily got quicker and quicker and then a rumble... It kept on going, everypony was freaking out... But right before I blacked out, I saw a giant beam of light blasting out of the surface like a million tons of tnt heavily concentrated into a beam of blistering energy, slashing the sky open like a giant wall with a bright door leading to death... But how am I still alive... I truly think I'm dead, there was no way I could have survived the blast... If I did, then how do I still hear things around me, this odd humming is really annoying the fuck out of me but I can't move... Wait I think I actually see light I awaken to a mysterious room, its pretty much dark in here except for this one light faintly flickering above me. I notice that annoying hum is coming from it, god if I actually destroyed the one thing that had made me see in this room with my magic, I probably would never know where to go once I woke up. Anyways, I'm Firebolt, a gray unicorn pony with a weird sense of humor and this lovely blue mane with an orange, black and white streak through it. Don't know if that was what happened to me during the explosion, but I'll probably figure it out soon enough. Out of the corner of my eye I see a light turn on, behind a glass window a rather nice looking pegasus pony with an elegant flowing green-blue mane and a pale blue coat walked to the window and looked at me with a bored glance and went to one of the monitors where she was standing. All of a sudden, all the lights in the room I'm in turn on and blind me with a light that I haven't seen for who knows how long. All I know now is that I'm laying in a medical bed but why the hell can't I still move. A machine with a medical syringe injects me with some unknown liquid and all of a sudden I'm suddenly able to move again. Sweet Celestia does it feel good to be free again. I try to get up but suddenly the pegasus pony waved a hoof frantically at me. "Don't get up so quickly," she told me, "You'll get a massive head rush and you don't want that." She chuckled, with the cutest chuckle I've ever heard. I lay back down in the bed to get my blood flowing again, and sat back up slowly this time. "How long was I out?" "Ever since the blast, you've been out for quite a while. It's been a long 3 months till you've finally woken up." "3 months?!?! Ugh, that's why I hardly remember anything. So who are you? And where the hell am I?" "I'm Maurice," she said, "I'm here to keep you safe till you wake up and escort you to a safe location. Our home was being seized by a very evil organization known as the Osiris, we don't know exactly where they came from but they are clearly stating that they need resources to form an army to overthrow Princess Celestia's and Princess Luna from power and essentially control or kill them. The reason why they haven't gotten word from anypony is that the Osiris set up an invisible satellite system using dark magic so that it can go undetected and target any threats that tried to spread word about the disaster." "But what was the giant beam of energy for if they were just going to kill targets with their satellite system?" She stood silent for a moment, lowering her head in devastation, "This may be some heartbreaking news to you, but they are ruthless pieces of shit and don't give a fuck about anything, they basically have destroyed the entire planet within a day by blasting it to pieces, and gathering all the resources from it. And with the targeting system in place, it brutally massacred everypony who tried to flee. All I know is that this ship was the only one to escape, but we are trying to move out as fast as we can to try to find a safe place to land and recover before heading to Equestria, the main capital of the galaxy. We don't want them to know where we're going, and if they do, it will buy us time to tell everypony about the news so it spreads faster. Now about the rest of the ponies that couldn't flee, they gathered them up to recruit them into their so-called 'army' but I feel like a lot of them would try to rebel against them in some way, others may have turned to them already, or worse brainwashed so they couldn't fight back." I was shocked by the news, I just lost my home, everything, why would somepony do such harm to our own kind? Even Nightmare Moon was thought of as a threat but she could easily have been annihilated from the blast. This is a true threat to Equestria and the fate of the universe as we know it, and nothing right now can even stop it. We need to get the message out there asap, especially to the two princesses because the fate of Equestria is in our hands as we know it. "Where are we heading to now?" I asked. "We're headed off it a planet called Geon, or more commonly known as Sanctuary."
