After the recent malfunction of their water purifier, a group of ponies from the underground bunker city of Evermore are chosen to journey to the surface to find a replacement part to get the purifier working again. However, fearing the future failure of other life support equipment, the mayor of Evermore tasks them with finding a potential new home for the entire city to move to. Once above, however, they find the world above wasn't as bad they thought. None of them knew what to expect either, but the eerie silence and emptiness of the forest around their bunker wasn't it. Little did they know the moment they took their first steps away from Evermore, their lives would be changed forever. As they journeyed into the unknown, fate set them on course for something much bigger than themselves or their original mission.
