Henry, instantly opened his eyes as the voice echoed loudly in his room. It was 4:00 am, the weahter was dark, probably most of the staff was sleeping. After strecthing out and giving a wide yawn, he stood up to change his clothes. "Geez what problem do you have with time? Can't I just sleep for a little while?" After changing clothes, he headed to the sector five, to see why they wanted him to check. "It better be important..." He stopped in front of the metal door and put his hand on the scanner right next to entrance. As the green light scanned his hand whole, he couldn't help but gave another yawn. "I should have gotten a coffee." Welcome. Doctor. Henry Borrowman. He entered without hesitation as the door opened quickly. Heading to his mates which were busy with monitors and reports in front of them. He gave another loud yawn, caused the two to turn to him. "Look who has arrived! Good morning sunshine." said Jay. "Slept well?" "Ah shut up Jay. He already is in a mess, don't you annoy him more." it was Amber who silenced him. "Nah I am..." he was cut off by a yawn "totally fine. I can take it." Amber handed him a cup of coffee, the only thing that could keep everyone in this place refreshed "Here, take a sip." Henry took the coffee and drinked in one gulp, without even minding how hot it was. "Thanks. I needed that." As he gave the cup back, he stretched out again and with a shiver, he gained his full consciousness. "So guys, what is the situation?" Jay turned to him with his spinning chair "The fluctuations." "Agh again? You really woke me up in fucking four am just to show me that shit again? Seriously?" He pinched the bottom of his eyes. "No Henry. This is different." Amber held the monitor and got in front of his face. "Take a look at it. The waves were getting more dense than before." She put her finger on the monitor to show "When they first appeared, seven months ago, they were moving randomly. But now, it seems like they are gathering... to somewhere." This got Henry's attention. "So... you really woke me up for something important." He then turned to Jay, who was waiting for his response "This is really unexcpected from YOU Jay!" he laughed at his own joke. "Ha ha. Well unlike you, I actually was searching for something and good news is..." he turned to his monitor and pointed at the map on the screen. "I found what I wanted!" Henry raised a brow "And it is?" Jay gave a deadpan expression "The location. The location of the density that is forming by these fluctuations! What can it ever be something else if I am showing you a map?" "Anyways, enough with talking." Amber intervened. "So Jay, show me and Henry what you found will you?" "Well then, I have observed the movements of these fluctuations, where they form and where they end. They are just like chambers that grow around the globe and shrink in a certain place. And that place is..." Map on the monitor zoomed in to island of Britain, to Wiltshire. "...Stonehenge?" Henry looked at Amber, then Jay "Stonehenge huh? That is really interesting..." He than stepped back and eyed the other monitor again "Have you learned what causes it yet?" "We have given the records to the Sector Four but nothing came out." Jay closed the monitor. "Alright then, we will wait for Sector Four to get the results and keep working on this formation." Henry pointed out. "But don't mention it to someone else. From now on it's only between Sector Four and Five." "Okay! Cool." they replied. "Now then, lets go back to sleep and in the morning we'll keep investigating" He then turned around to get out as Jay and Amber followed him. Equestria, Canterlot, 15th Day of Asterial Era, 1019 The grand ruler of Equestria entered the room with slow steps, not wanting to distract her fellow student. Their efforts to reach this new world was so important. This planet they call "Earth" was dying. It was screaming for help, she could hear it, she could sense it... "I see you're working really hard as always, my little pony?" she said with a soft tone. In spite of her soft voice, Twilight jumped from where she was sitting and turned to her teacher with a thrill "Princess Asteria?" She quickly pulled herself together and calmed down "I didn't hear you coming." Asteria chuckled at her reaction "It's quite alright Twilight. I actually didn't want to disturb you." she got closer to table Twilight was working on. "So my faithful student, what news do you have for me today?" Twilight used her magic grip to organize her notes. "I have good news your highness, the portal to Earth is almost ready." With the help of my friends and the mages you have here in palace, we have concretized the place of the portal. It will take some time for it to open completely and stablize itself." She then pulled out a paper from her notes and gave it to princess. "It will take around, seventy two hours to be ready" A warm smile formed on Asteria's face. "Very good Twilight. And the potion?" Twilight checked her notes again "The potion seems to be ready either your highness. With the effect of it, not only the anatomy of the life form but it's attitudes and behaviour will completely change too. And they will be converted to new-born ponies successfully." The smile on Asteria's muzzle grew bigger. "Fascinating! Absolutely fantastic!" She headed back to the door with excitement. "Twilight, my dear student, you've done an excellent job! You have totally deserved to rest." "Rest? Rest! In a time like this? There is no way for me to rest when we're so close to our goal!" Twilight protested. "Twilight, there are almost three days until the gate opens. And right now you should rest." She then turned back to Twilight "And don't forget to-" she was cut off by a snoring came from Twilight. Princess just rolled her eyes with a smirk and left the room, closing the door from behind quietly. The Alicorn gazed out of the window as she continued the way to her room. The stars were lighting, reaming the night sky one by one; so small but so bright at the same time. And then there it was: Th great light of the night time: Moon. The moon that her own sister was remaining on. "Oh Luna, I wish you could see what I am about to achieve..." She finally arrived to her room, got inside and locked the door behind. 72 Hours - 3 Days Until The Gate Opens Chapter 1: The BeginningChapter 1: The Beginning 66 Hours Until The Gate Opens United Kingdom, Artemis Laboratories, Sector Four, September 16th, Earth The woman in front of the table was shuffling the papers in her hands, eying them very carefully, examining them again and again but everytime when she was about to conclude, she was failing with a sigh. "It's because... no. Maybe like this and... no. Alright maybe if I presume that... oh no no NO!" She finally threw the papers at the table and rested her face on her palms desperately "How can that ever be possible? That doesn't make any sense" "Hey Caitlyn take it easy." It was her mate, Mark who tried to comfort her. "No one expects you to do the impossible, don't be that hard on yourself." Caitlyn eyed his partner with a frown and sighed "I know Mark, it's just... We're the only ones who work on this along with Sector Five. They believe in us, waiting for us to present them something. This whole secret work stuff, makes me nervous.." She then picked up the papers, wanted to tear them apart but knew she can't. "And these goddamn records are just not helpful either!" Mark took the papers from Caitlyn and eyed them from top to bottom. "Solar eruptions huh?" He examined the paper properly. "According to this record, growing solar waves which came from Sun's surface, effecting the core of the Earth and creates an unstable density on the Biosphere by creating magnetic waves." He then turned to Caitlyn. "But it needs a great force to effect Earth's core..." "Right?!" Caitlyn grabbed the papers back and put them back on the table. "Is there a way to intensify these solar waves to a certain point? No there is not!" She shrugged "Or at least we don't know if there is." As they continued debating about this, the door opened and a man got inside. He was dressed completely black and he had a confident smile on his face. This was the CEO of Artemis Labs, William Anderson. "Good morning Dr Oswald and Dr Noble." After hearing him, the two stopped suddenly and turned to him with nervous smiles. Caitlyn was the one who spoke first. "Mr Anderson! We didn't hear you come. We-" He lifted his hand calmly. "Not a problem at all Dr Noble. It's good too see my staff working hard." He smiled and turned to Mark. "So, what are you working on this time?" Mark paused for a moment "Oh-Oh we are ah... working on..." his eyes shifted to sides and he couldn't make something up. "The Sun!" He wanted to slap himself from inside, it was too late to change the subject. "The eruptions on the Sun... sir." He could see Caitlyn was staring like she was going to murder him. "A-And we want to see if we can use these effects of eruptions to... have an alternative energy source!" Anderson eyed him with a raised eyebrow and after a pause, he chuckled. "I see. I am looking forward to see you present it!" Phew Caitlyn intervened suddenly "Absuloteley! You will be proud Mr Anderson!" Anderson smiled softly for this response from her. "I hope so." He then held his hands together. "Well then, I see you're working just fine and it's good to see this. Remember, we build the bridge to the future!" He then turned back and left the room. Mark turned to Caitlyn as the CEO left "I..." "Not. A single. Word Mark." Sector Five The condition of sector five was a bit complicated, no one was talking about yesterday but it was just like everyone wanted to talk about it. Tough no one dared to talk. The three of them were busy with different things: Amber was trying to set up her own software on computer; Jay was reading a book about Ottomans; And Henry was... busy with his own weapon he designed himself: A pistol that works like a camera flash, blinding the person with a white light who has used against. He actually named it too, White Angel. However he usually called it 'baby' since he made it. After done with screwing his weapon, Henry stood up and lifted it like he was victorious. "Finally! It's done. After my hardwork, White Angel is complete!" Amber looked at the so called White Angel and smiled. "Great work Henry!" Her smile washed away as she saw her computer crashed again. "Can't say the same about mine though..." Jay raised his head and eyed the thing on his hand. "Yeah good work Henry. Now why don't you tell us again why the hell would you need such a thing like that?" Henry opened his mouth to answer this magneficent question but then he realized he really had no idea where would he use this... So he just gave up on answering this question. He then reached to reports from yesterday and started scanning them once again. Just as Jay's question floated away, the door of sector five opened, revealed Mr Anderson behind. "Why hello my dearest workers! How have you been?" He was smiling as always: No doubt that he was saying this to everyone who he visits. Amber stood up to greet the CEO "Hi Mr Anderson, fancy seeing you here. May we know what brings you here sir?" "Oh you know me, just checking over there, there and here." Anderson paused then turned to Henry, who was busy with papers in his grip. "So then, Dr Borrowman... What are you up to? Henry turned the papers and put them on the table, being sure not to draw attention. "Eh... Nothing much sir. Just some personal tastes." After this respond his smile faded and a darkened expression took over his face. His eyes first locked on the papers and then to Jay. "I see. Well what do you have for us this year? Hm?" He then grabbed Jay's book from him and lifted up "I presume your personal tastes are not about your research is it?" Just as he grabbed, he threw the book that made Jay to rush and catch before it fell over. "To be honest sir, we don't have something certain yet" This was a lie. They had one: The situation they have talked about yesterday, the situation that was hidden on those papers. But he couldn't have told and risk everything he was planning. "We're still thinking about it..." Anderson eyed the papers again, then smiled "Very well then! But I'd be quick if I were you, this year is coming to an end: So is your time." He headed to door as he turned back "Bye!" After being sure he left, Amber couldn't hold herself. "That man... is sick." "Totally. That's for sure..." Access Request: Caitlyn Noble. Access Request: Caitlyn Noble. "Grant the access" Jay commanded Access Granted. Welcome Caitlyn Noble Caitlyn walked into the room without hesitation with more papers in her hands. "Hey guys." A huge smile formed on Henry's face as he saw the woman he was waiting for. She must have brought the results they requested! "Hey Caitlyn! Welcome again, come in come in." Caitlyn responded with a warm smile for this greeting. As she got in, she put the papers on the table, make sure not to ruin the placement. She then lifted her head and looked at the trio. "I have some good news... and bad news." Canterlot, 16th Day of Asterial Era, 1019 - Equestria The preparations for Earth was going on, and the citizens of Equestria were so excited for the news that Princess Asteria has given. Meeting a new entire intelligent species from another world! Who wouldn't be surprised about this? Of course, they had no idea what their great ruler was planning. Today was the day that Asteria is going to make a speech. She slowly took her position on the balcony of the palace, element bearers were behind her. She eyed the crowd calmly. In front of her were the simple citizens of Caterlot; nobles and royal ponies such as Fancy Pants, Fleur De Lis, her nephew Blueblood. They have taken the front seats right next to her fellow sister: Luna... Wait. Luna?! Asteria turned to seat that Luna took but it was unoccupied. She blinked a few times and eyed the seat again. She could swore she saw the dark blue alicorn right there. "Princess, are you alright?" the lavender unicorn got to her teacher quickly. Asteria gazed at her student's eyes for a while, then shaked her head. "Yes Twilight. I am alright! Everything is fine!" As Twilight returned to her friends, Asteria turned to crowd again and started after she lighted her horn. "My dear little ponies, I'd love to welcome you all to introduction of our greatest work: Ponification for Earth's Rebirth!" The spell she casted was allowing whole Equestria to hear and see her speech just like a live broadcast. As she finished her sentence, everypony cheered and clapped their hooves. Asteria's smile grew for this response. "My fellow ponies, we have observed these creatures called humans and I'm afraid to say but... they're sick! They have infected their world." Crowd gasped for this sudden explanation. "And we feared that if we open our world to them, they may infect our world either." Gasp of the crowd grew bigger. "But fret not! My fellow student Twilight Sparkle and her friends here, found a solution to prevent this horrible possibility." She then turned to lavender unicorn who was waiting with an obvious excitement in her eyes. Asteria slowly nodded with a smile. Twilight slowly stepped forward with a glass of purple liquid in her grip. "As her highness said, we have found a way to prevent this problem easily!" She lifted the glass for all to see. "With the convertion potion we finally made, we can turn humans into ponies and cure them, make them capable for living in Equestria just like us!" Some parts of the crowd were gasped, some were whispering to eachother and some of them were cheering for this foundation of hers. In response to this uncertain reaction Princess Asteria intervened and continued. "After the portal to the Earth opens, we will bring peace and harmony to humans and save them from their corrupted world! And I expect all of you, my dear little ponies to work for this goal properly!" Crowd cheered again and made Asteria to regain her smile back. She then left the balcony and headed into the palace with the bearers. Just as she continued to throne room, she found three archmages of the palace in front of her with anxious faces. Fusion Spark, Ice Blaze and Light Swirl. Fusion Spark was the one to speak. "Y-Your highness. We have some news." The tone of his voice made Asteria to raise a brow. "The portal. The calculations are incorrect. The gate will be opened in thirty one hours..." Asteria turned to Twilight with a serious expression. "Tell them to speed up the preparations immediately!" She then turned back to archmages. "And you three will look after the portal, report me if something unexpected happens!" Three archmages nodded "Yes you highness." 31 Hours Until The Gate Opens United Kingdom, Artemis Laboratories, Sector Five, September 16th, Earth Henry asked again with a confused tone "So you know what causes it, but you don't know how?" "Yes! From what we have concluded, this is impossible to be real." Caitlyn took the notes and showed it again "See? There's no way that solar eruptions like this to effect Earth from that distance. And even if it did, how can it effect the core of the planet so easily?" Jay grabbed the papers from Caitlyn "Maybe you're missing something... or these eruptions have nothing to do with these fluctuations?" "We have observed the actions of the Sun and Earth's core. The waves are related to eachother. It's just like Earth is... responding to Sun... Like they are speaking..." Amber cut her off "Wait wait wait. Earth and Sun are talking? To eachother? Is this what you mean?" Caitlyn kept silent for this question. Amber opened her arms to sides "This is madness!" She then turned to Henry who put his hand to on his chin. "What do you think?" Henry eyed Amber and the others without moving. Then he stood up and turned to Jay. "Jay, where was this density forming again?" Jay opened the map and showed Henry. "Stonehenge. It's forming in the Stonehenge." Henry then turned back and gazed out of the window. "Then preapre yourselves because we are going there." Then preapre yourselves because we are going to there. Henry's voice echoed from the monitor as the CEO closed it and leaned back on his seat. "So that is your little project... Dr Borrowman. 31 Hours Until The Gate Opens Chapter 2: To The Hanging StonesChapter 2: To The Hanging Stones 21 Hours Until The Gate Opens Earth, United Kingdom, Artemis Laboratories, Sector Four, September 17th Henry zipped the bag after he stuffed all the equipment they needed. This weekend was the best opportunity to observe this anomaly closely. Staff in Artemis Labs had permission to spend weekends freely, the sooner they move was better for them. If anyone else found this, they could lost the discovery of their lives. As his friends took the bags and got out of the sector, Henry took his and followed them. The white floor, sky blue walls, the glass dome at the center of the building that connects every part of the building. They passed the dome and after a few minutes of walking they finally made it to exit. Jay, Amber, Mark and Caitlyn got out one by one but just when Henry was about to leave, a voice caught him from behind. "Mr Borrowman!" This was him, again. Henry turned back with hesitation and faced the CEO who was coming at him. "Mr Borrowman, I see you're leaving for weekend?" "Y-Yes Mr Anderson. We thought spending some good time together would be good for us to be motivated for working." Henry could see Anderson's attention was on the bag he was carrying but he couldn't do anything to not look suspicious. "You know, being stuck in a lab with a bunch of devices, paperwork... Spending some quality time in nature will beneficial for all of us." Anderson cut his glare from the bag. "I see... Go on then, I better not bother you. I too believe this quality time you'll have is going to be helpful." He smiled softly. A relaxation took over Henry after this response. "I'm glad to hear that sir. Have a good day." CEO waved his hand as he kept smiling. "You too Mr Borrowman! You too..." Henry left the building and continued the way to his friends. They were all waiting for him with Mark's jeep. Just as he took his seat in the vehicle, he met with everybody's eyes looking at him. "Anderson?" asked Amber. "Yeah, he got me right before I left." Mark started the engine and took out his sunglasses. "That man freaks me out, his positive but thrilling behaviour makes me uncomfortable." He placed the glasses on his eyes. "He-" Jay interrupted Mark and turned on the radio. "Lets not talk about him and mind our business shall we?" Everyone accepted and they hit the road. The CEO watched them leave from his monitor. He then took out his phone and called someone. Other side answered the call. "Now." He then hung up the phone and switched the camera. A white color Tesla's engine started and left the parking lot, followed the path of the jeep that just left. Equestria, Canterlot, 17th Day of Asterial Era, 1019 The three mages were gathered around the formation positioned at the center of the room. Watching the light beam as it grows and shrinks on its own. The light was shifting in colors, revealing a rainbow-like view, not tiring their eyes but dazzling with the sudden changes it makes. "So... what do you think about them?" it was Light Swirl who asked. Fusion tore his gaze from the portal. "Hm? Who? "Who can it be silly?" She rolled her eyes. "The humans." Fusion raised his brow "What should I think about them? They are just creatures, living in their world, minding their business. Just like us." Suddenly Ice Blaze jumped to the conversation "Just like us? Fusion, did you hit your head somewhere? Don't you remember what princess showed us? Their history, their culture, the way they act... They are horrible!" He calmed down and cleared his throat. "I am not even going to talk about two world wars they have been through." Just when Fusion was about to protest, Light Swirl popped out. "No need to be negative guys! You know princess' plan; the potion will make everything better. We will save humanity from their corrupted nature! And three of us will be the ones pioneers of this great duty since we have a great role by opening the gate!" While the three mages continuing the arguement, the door of the room opened, revealed a magic mint coated unicorn mare. "Excuse me?" Mages stopped talking and turned to approaching mare. "Are you the archmages supposed to be responsible with the gate?" Three of them glared at eachother, then turned to mare. "Yes, yes we are." said Fusion Spark. "How can we help you ma'am?" Mare smiled. "My name is Lyra Heartstrings, Princess Asteria sent me here. I will be the representative of Equestria for the contact with the humanity." She then passed a scroll to Fusion Spark, a letter from Princess Asteria herself. Archmages read the letter quietly, then Fusion folded the paper and put it in the pocket of his robe. "I see, we will inform princess we got her messege." Lyra smiled and nodded. "Thank you." she then turned back and left the room. As she left, Ice Blaze took out an orb-like object and aimed at the portal. Then took a closer look at it. "Twenty hours left. I think we should inform princess now." Light Swirl headed to door with excitement. "I got this!" Other two mages took their positions back and returned to their business. Earth, United Kingdom, A303 Road, September 17th Where you go I go What you see I see I know I'd never be me Without the security Of your loving arms Keeping me from harm Put your hand in my hand And we'll stand Let the sky fall When it crumbles We will stand tall Face it all together Let the sky fall When it crumbles We will stand tall Face it all together At skyfall Let the sky fall We will stand tall At skyfall... "Ah... Beautiful. Just beautiful! After seven years it's still gold. Isn't it right guys?" Mark asked with relaxation as he threw a glance at the rest of the gang. Jay was asleep, Henry had his own headphones on, Amber was reading a book and Caitlyn was... still reading the reports from tomorrow. "Welp, guess it's only me and you Adele!" He said aloud sarcastically, which made Jay woke up suddenly. Jay rubbed his eyes and looked around blindly. "H-Have we arrived? Mark?" "Almost there Jay. I'll let you know when we're there" "Uh huh. Fine..." He buried himself in the seat, just to return to sleep. After fourty minutes of driving, Mark could see the stones ahead, in the middle of the completely green field, enlightened by the sun. And the tourists who visit there of course. After a little maneuver to the right, the stones were right in front of him. He stopped the engine and turned back at the others. "We are here guys! Take your stuff and lets get to it shall we?" After his little announcement, everyone left the jeep and took out what they need. Henry took two bags, Jay got one and Amber got the last bag as they unzipped and started to settle down. Henry took out a telescope and set up right there. He then got the bigger bag and took out something looked like a... smaller bag? He then thew it in front of him and turned to others. "Everyone, may I have your attention? I know some of you might be wondering where are we going to spend the night, and to your question here's my answer." He pointed at the small bag on the ground. No one seemed to be excited but let him finish. "Ahem, so... This little bag here..." "Is a self-erecting tent isn't it?" Jay cut him off. "Well yes but it is much more than that!" He then took out a small object from his pocket and pressed a button on it. As he pressed, the small bag opened, then swelled like a balloon, formed the shelter in front of them. It was actually three times bigger than the jeep they came here with. Amber lifted her eyebrow with a smirk. "So it's bigger? That's just it?" "Yes! Well, no! It's..." He sighed and gave up. "Yeah it's... It's just bigger." Mark took a closer look at the tent, and after eying it properly, he turned back at Henry, who was waiting for him to finish. "That's a really a good tent, to be honest. Say, Henry where did you get this tent? How much was it?" Henry smirked slightly. "It was actually free." Jay raised a brow. "Free? How come a big and qualified tent like this be free? Henry? Where did you get this?" Henry's smirk turned into a big smile and he turned to Jay. "Lets just say I have some good friends in sector three." "Sir, we tracked them down successfully. Right now, we're at the Stonehenge, about five miles away from them." Man at the phone turned to his partner right next to him then returned to call. "It looks like they're settling down a camp here. What is our next goal? "Wait for their next move. If you spot anything unexpected or extraordinary, contact me. For now, hold your position." "Understood" William Anderson hung up the phone as he returned to the camera records on his monitor, rewinding, trying to find out what Sector Five was up to for last eight months. Checking the entries of all sectors from first to tenth. "What were you doing Borrowman..?" Henry was staring at the stones, eying them from bottom to top, having the excitement of the discovery they were about to make. It was right in front of him, just like staring at him as he was staring at it. The tourist were leaving, so the peace and quite was taking over the place. He closed his eyes as the upcoming wind washed off his face, leaving a cool but sweet shivering. "Enjoying the moment?" Henry turned back and saw the owner of the voice, Amber. He smiled slightly and opened his arms to sides. "Yeah, guess I can't deny I am." He then leaned on the ground and stared at the slowly darkening sky. "Can't tell how excited I am." "Then hide your excitement for tomorrow, because that's when we start. Don't lose your motivation tonight." She then headed back at the tent. Henry watched the sky for a few more minutes, then he too got into the tent to have some sleep. It was good that the tent was containing sleeping bags in it. He carefully took his position and fell asleep as the night took over the sky completely. 20 Hours Until The Gate Opens Chapter 3: The GateChapter 3: The Gate Earth, United Kingdom, Stonehenge, September 18th. 90 Minutes Until The Gate Opens Henry laid his hand on the stone in front of him, he could feel a tingling but couldn't figure out what it was. It sure was about this density they discovered but still, they had no idea what was causing it. They were studying on this for hours, they had to find something useful! Henry turned to others as Amber approached him. "Nothing?" "No, just this tingling as before." He shrugged with a frown. "Guess it's over." "Hey don't you lose your hope, we still have one day. We can continue tomorrow." She comforted him. Mark called them from their set up. "I wouldn't be so certain Henry! Come look what Jay found." Henry headed next to Jay to see what he got. The portable system they set up was a bit small but it was easy to manage. Jay showed him a monitor that was showing the globe, it looked like a gps tracking system. A chamber around the globe was forming on the location they were remaining right now. "The fluctuations are getting faster each minute." Henry checked the screen. "1.000 kilometers per second?! But that's impossible!" "And it increases every minute." Caitlyn added. "It already broke the sound barrier. If it keeps increasing like this, it will exceed the speed of light." "Then we know when it will happen!" Henry exclaimed victoriously. "But still, there is one more thing we don't know..." Jay pointed out. "We have no idea what is going to happen." Equestria,Canterlot, 18th Day of Asterial Era, 1019 Princess Asteria was standing in front of the gate, element bearers were behind her alongside Lyra. Three archmages were positioned around the center. Other ponies in palace and city were ready and waiting for the gate to open. Asteria had a victorious smile on her muzzle, staring at the light beam in front of him quietly. "Oh! I wonder if we'll throw a -Meeting of Ponies and Humans- Party?! Do they like parties? Because we like parties so maybe the do like parties if they're thinking like us?" Pinkie lined up her questions. "Oh darling I doubt that. Those humans are obviously nothing like us, don't you remember what Princess said?" Rarity replied her always-excited friend. "I don't think I'll ever get close to them. After I've heard they eat animals, there's no way I can trust those savage... meanies!" Fluttershy tried to seem angry. "Hey chill out! If they try to do anything sneaky, we show them who they're messing with!" Rainbow Dash punched in her hoof. "Ah'm with Rainbow here. If those hoo-mans do any harm to mah friends, they'll regret it." Applejack agreed. All this humiliation towards humans were making Lyra uncomfortable but she didn't say anything to protest, instead she ignored it all. Twilight turned to Princess with an unsure look on her face. But Asteria just smiled and turned to bearers. "Now now my little ponies, despite how savage they are, we're not going to be rude to them. Remember, we're going to be positive! After all we are going to cure them, not fight them right?" They all looked at eacother, then nodded and Lyra smiled warmly for this response. Asteria then turned to Ice Blaze, who was staring at the orb in his grip. "How long does it left to open?" Ice Blaze used the orb on portal and checked it again to see the process. "About seventy minutes, your highness." This answer made Asteria to bite her lip, it wasn't hard to see she was becoming impatient. She then lighted up her horn and casted a spell at the portal which made everyone gasp. "Check it again will you?" Ice Blaze used the orb again and checked it one more time. His eyes widened in surprise. "Thirty minutes... your highness." Asteria smiled softly for this result. "Very good." "Ahe ahem..." a cough heard from the door. A white stallion with a blue mane entered the room. His tuxedo and the monocle on his face was remarkable. "Your highness, you're needed in throne room." Asteria smiled at him and headed to doorway. "Thank you for noticing Fancy Pants." She then turned back at bearers. "I'll be back shortly." Ice Blaze held out the orb to the portal again, to check princess' spell but as he brought the orb closer to it, a spark formed and hit him in the face, not to injure but hurt him. "Ouch!" The little impact made him fall back. "Oh dang it!" Light Swirl came up to help her friend. "Woah, Ice you alright?" "Yeah it's just, that stupid thing is still unstable." After shaking onself, he scanned the floor then his eyes narrowed. "Guys, have you seen the orb?" Earth, United Kingdom, Stonehenge, September 18th. Henry touched the stone once again, he could still feel the tingling but it was much intense now. He then crouched and touched the ground, the tingling remained as it is. "Anything noteworthy Jay?" "The waves are still getting faster." His stare remained on the screen. "And that's all." Henry joined Jay to see the fluctuations again. Yep, nothing new except the speed change. "Maybe we should move it?" Offered Mark. Maybe it depends on where we stand? "Oh what? Like a TV signal? Sure lets move and see if we get a better frequency." Caitlyn mocked him. "What it may be-" "Hush, wait wait wait!" Jay silenced them. "Something is happening." The waves on the monitor was getting much faster then before. "7.500 kilometers per minute... No 14.000 kilometers per minute!" Jay's hands were shaking. They were getting faster every moment. This sudden increasing continued for five minutes as Jay kept counting. " 90.000 kilometers per second?! 170.000 kilometers per second!" They could feel the ground shaking beneath them, they were holding their breaths as Jay continued. Yes something was happening, something was coming, something big was coming. "220.000 kilometers per second! And 300.000 kilometers per second! At the speed of light!" As he shouted, a light beam appeared at the middle of stones, just in front of them. Everyone of the group was holding their breath as the light beam growed, growed and finally something small fell of the ground as it suddenly dissapeared. All of them were looking at the ground, where the object landed. No one was speaking, just staring at the thing. After a few minutes of staring, Mark moved from where he was and slowly approached where the object landed. He crouched and took the object. It was an orb, a small, light blue orb easy that could easily fit in an adult's palm. It looked like it was made out of glass. "It's a glass ball!" He headed to others and put the orb on the table. Henry looked at the orb, scanned every inch of it. He wanted to say something but he had no idea what to say. Should he be happy? Sad? Surprised? Or disappointed? "Maybe it's something valuable? Like a diamond?" Mark said. Monitor in front of Jay was not working anymore. "I can't believe it... I. Just. Can't. Believe it!" He shouted as he let go of the monitor. "We worked for months! We made analyzes! We hid this whole thing from our manager! We've fucking came to Stonehenge! And what we got... is just a fucking marble?!" He turned to others. "What the fuck guys! What the actual fuck?!" Mark gripped his shoulder from behind. "Jay, calm down." Henry's eyes slipped to the orb. No, this was not any marble... Something was off with this glass ball. He could feel it. He slowly reached to it and lifted it. Yes, there it was: the tingling, same feeling when he touched the stones. He got up, glared at the monitor and saw the waves started to form again. He ignored his friends' arguement and headed back to stones. "Calm down?! How the hell can I calm down Mark?!" He pulled himself back. "Tell me how the fuck am I supposed to calm down!" As he approached the stones with the orb, the noise of his friends were slowly running lower. Finally, just as he came at the center of the stones, silence took over the atmosphere. The stats at Jay's monitor were going insane as he got closer. When he felt it was it, he dropped the orb on the ground. Just as he dropped it, he found himself on the ground, meters away from the structure. The impact of the orb caused an explosion that made him fly away. But despite how hard it was, the stones were totally fine. Suddenly, a light beam appeared at the center of the Stonehenge, just like before but this time, it was bigger. The beam remained still for a few seconds, then a silhouette appeared in it. What came out from it afterwards left Henry in shock. A horse, a pure white horse with wings and a horn on it's forehead. It's mane was waving in the air, four kind of colours were adorning it. It had a crown on top of it's head, a necklace on it's neck, and golden shoes under it's hooves. He could hear others were calling out his name. Just when he was about to get up, his blurry vision became completely black as he felt a pain at the back of his skull. Princess Asteria watched as military uniformed men dragged the person on the ground and took care of the others. They were finally here, on planet Earth. So the time has finally come. ProloguePrologue Earth, United Kingdom, Artemis Laboratories, September 15th, 2019 Doctor Borrowman, you are waited in Sector Five, Doctor Borrowman, you are waited in Sector Five. 72 Hours - 3 Days Until The Gate Opens
Chapter 1: The BeginningChapter 1: The Beginning 66 Hours Until The Gate Opens United Kingdom, Artemis Laboratories, Sector Four, September 16th, Earth The woman in front of the table was shuffling the papers in her hands, eying them very carefully, examining them again and again but everytime when she was about to conclude, she was failing with a sigh. 31 Hours Until The Gate Opens
Chapter 2: To The Hanging StonesChapter 2: To The Hanging Stones 21 Hours Until The Gate Opens Earth, United Kingdom, Artemis Laboratories, Sector Four, September 17th Henry zipped the bag after he stuffed all the equipment they needed. 20 Hours Until The Gate Opens
Chapter 3: The GateChapter 3: The Gate Earth, United Kingdom, Stonehenge, September 18th.
