After going into one of the dressing rooms to sit somewhere, Spike's eyes were focused on Velvet's large breasts threatening to burst free from their containment. She didn't even bother fixing her clothes as though it didn't matter to her if he or anyone saw her or not. Spike was able to tear his eyes away from her long enough to ask her a simple question. "How long?" he asked. "Your facial expression not only showed you weren't enjoying it, but that it clearly wasn't the first time between you two." Velvet's bottom lip quivered as fresh tears fell from her eyes.

"You have to understand....I-I can't lose it." she said in a soft tone.

"Lose what?" Spike wondered.

"My marriage." she answered. "We've....we've been having marital problems for the past two years. After the situation with you started, we had a massive fight. I don't know remember what it was about, or what started it, but when he said it's over between us, my heart shattered. I begged him not to end it this way; to stay and work it out, but he wouldn't listen. I started telling him all I was willingly to do anything to save our marriage, even having sex with him whenever he wanted; even if I wasn't in the mood to."

"And it's been going on like this ever since then?" Spike asked. Velvet nodded. "Velvet, did you two ever talk it out?" Spike asked and she shook her head no. "So it's just been sex whenever, and however he wants, right?" he asked and she shook her head yes. "I have one more question. Was he also involved in my parent's murder?"

Velvet remained quiet for a few seconds before speaking up. "I.....I don't know." she explained. "When your parents left to help other survivors I stayed behind. It wasn't until I started to get a bad feeling that I hurried after them. When I got there, they were already gone, and before I could say or do anything, Night Light grabbed my arm.....brought to a secluded area....and then......w-we....." That's when the sobbing started. "I'm...sorry, Spike....I....I'm so sorry. I...I knew you were innocent, a-and I should've spoken up, b-but a-all I could think about at the time w-was saving my marriage."

"I don't think it would've made a difference if she had spoken up or not." Spike thought. "Everyone, especially Night Light, already had their minds made up about the whole thing." Spike moved a bit closer to Velvet who then threw her arms around the young man as she cried. All of her griefs and regrets came out at once. She lost two good friends, her daughter hates her, her son is a murderer, and now the realization that her marriage was over long before the world went to hell.

Twilight stared at the ground after being told what Cream and Spike witnessed. She was dismissive of it; believing that it was just her parents having a moment with each other, which angered her more than she already was. It was just revealed that her brother is a murderer, and they go off and have sex somewhere as if they didn't have a care in the world. However, her demeanor changed when Cream explained how Velvet looked as though she wasn't enjoying it, and again, she was dismissive of it, until Cream explained how it looked as though something like this might've happened between them before.

"I saw the look on her face, Twilight, this has clearly been happening for some time now." Cream answered.

"Where is he?" Twilight asked in a low tone.

"He left with someone while your mother stayed behind." she explained. "I guess he didn't want anyone to know what they were doing so he's pretending to look for her right now."

What the hell is this? Is this someone's idea of sick joke? For an entire year, her father was adamantly against Spike for those false accusations against, only for him to be doing the very thing to his wife; her mother. Twilight's family was falling apart right in front of her.....no.....it's already broken with no chance of it possibly be repaired. Without thinking started to walk off; ignoring Cream's calls to her. Fearing that she might go and do something stupid, the school nurse followed after her; continuing to call out to her in vain.

****************************

Velvet's sobbing started to lighten up a bit, but her grip around Spike remained strong; holding onto him as though he was a lifeline thrown to her while she was in the ocean. "You okay?" he asked. Velvet shook her head "no" before pulling away from him. Sniffling and wiping the tears from her eyes, a thought entered her mind. "S-Spike? What are you going to do now?"

"Well....bring my parents home, first....." he answered.

"No, I mean....about Shining Armor." she interrupted. Spike didn't say anything, or rather, he couldn't. The truth is, he had no idea what'd he'd do, or if he'd be able to comprehend his actions. So many emotions were running through him right now, pain, anger, vengeance, heartbreak. All of which would push anyone to do the unthinkable; something Spike was considering, but for now, he needed to focus on one thing, and that was getting his parents home; Shining Armor would have to wait. Spike stood up prompting Velvet to do the same; not realizing that her shirt was still unbuttoned. Spike's eyes caught a jiggly melons and quickly diverted them. It was then Velvet realized that she was exposed and quickly turned to fix herself up; apologizing in the process. "We should get going." Spike suggested. Velvet nodded and followed after him. The two exited the from the dressing area and were about to make their way towards the exit, when they heard a male voice calling out.

"VELVET, YOU STILL HERE?!"

Velvet froze with wide eyes. It was her husband coming back for her. Who knew what would happened if he saw her; especially with Spike. Seeing the scared look on her face, Spike knew they had to hide somewhere, at least until Night Light left. The only place to do so was behind the counter. Grabbing her hand, Spike brought Velvet to the same place he and Cream hid earlier, however, as they turned the corner in their haste, Velvet tripped forward against him; causing the two of them to fall to the floor. Good news they were behind the counter and out of sight, awkward news, Velvet was laying right on top of Spike with her face dangerously close to his. She was about to move off him, but Spike pulled her in close to keep her still; whispering in her ear to keep quiet and not make a sound.

Night Light made his way to the dressing area and looked around for a bit; seeing no signs of his wife. "She's not here." he said coming out of the area. "Maybe she made it to the front with the others." Instead of leaving, Night Light went straight to the counter and leaned against it; not knowing that Spike and Velvet were right there on the floor. The two held each other tight, trying their best not to make a sound. If Night Light found them, especially like this, then who knows what would happened. To make matters worse, having a busty older woman on top of him, was starting to cause Spike's "little buddy" to begin to come to live.

"Goddammit, NO! Stay down, STAY DOWN!" he thought.

Velvet felt it rubbing against her and she covered her mouth as to not gasp too loudly. As a reaction, she slowly moved her hips in a circular motion; effectively griding against him. She was gonna moan if she didn't stop, but the problem was, it actually started to feel good. Spike grabbed ahold of her hips in an attempt to keep her from moving too much; anymore and they would definitely be noticed. The two heard the sound of a man calling out to Night Light and he called back. As the two men conversed, Night Light started to leave the counter. They could hear the voices slowly fade away, but to be on the safe side, they remained where they were until they were sure they were gone.

Many minutes later, the two emerged from behind the counter and sighed with relief that no one was here. They both made their way out of the store and started to walk out of the area, to where, who knows, but they couldn't stay here. Spike ended up looking down towards his crotch with an annoyed look on his face. "You and I are going to have a serious talk later." he thought. It wasn't long before they saw two people running in the direction of the north section. Spike knew that's where everyone was, and wanted to avoid going there; knowing that's where Shining Armor was. "Spike, over here!" came Twilight's voice. Both she and Cream approached them. "We have a problem, there's zombies on the east side of the mall, maybe the south side as well." Cream Explained. "Everyone is gathering at the north and waiting for Thunderlane and the others come make it back." Only one thought entered Spike's mind. Walking past everyone, he started to hastily make his way towards the food court. "Spike, wait." Cream called before following after him. Twilight glanced over at her mother before looking away from her. She didn't know what to say to her as she was still angry at her for the situation with Spike; believing that she played some part in it. Whatever the case, there were more pressing matters at hand right now.

"We should go." she said before going after Spike. Velvet didn't say anything, and followed after her.

****************************

Approaching the mall, Spear brought the bus to a complete stop a few feet away. He, Thunderlane, and Flash were all shocked at the ocean of zombies on the parking lot. "You've gotta be kidding me." said Flash.

"Not to worry, I believe this is the eastern side of the building." Spear explained. "I'll head around to the northern side. Hopefully, these things haven't occupied there." Taking the next street over, Spear drove the bus away from the horde, but in doing so, he captured some of their attention which caused the small group to walk towards the noise. Thankfully, when they made to the street, the bus was already too far away.

Spear took the next right and ended up on the main street that the took him towards the northern part of the mall. The trio were glad to see that the only things in the parking lot were the two city busses parked out in front and no undead creatures, but also knew it wouldn't be that way for long. "We're gonna have to move fast." Flash stated. "As soon as you park, we'll run in, get everyone out, and get the hell outta here." Spear quickly pulled up towards the busses and Thunderland and Flash hurried out. They didn't know how long a window they had, but the two boys ran towards the entrance and practically ripped the doors open. Inside, they saw everyone was gathered together, which made things a bit easier for them; they didn't have to run throughout the place finding everyone.

"WE'RE BACK!" yelled Thunderlane. "WE GOT AN EXTRA BUS, BUT WE NEED TO HURRY!"

Hearing his voice, Rarity took charge of the situation. "ALRIGHT EVERYONE, LET'S MOVE!" Leading the people towards the entrance, Rarity looked around for any signs of Twilight and the others, but didn't see anyone. Thunderlane lead the people outside and towards the busses; each one hurrying as fast as they could. Spear came out of the third bus to help with the evacuation; leaving it running. He entered the building and met up with Rarity when he remembered Shining Armor was still handcuffed. "What about Shining, we can't just leave him here." he said. As much as she wanted to, Spear was right, they couldn't, besides, her father wants to get his hands on him for what he did.

"Wait until almost everyone's out of here, then uncuff him." she said. "Besides, we'll someone to drive of the other busses."

Back outside as everyone was boarding the busses, one of the female survivors let out a loud gasp which caught the attention of others who were near her. Coming from the side of the building were at least 20 to 30 zombies. Slowly but surely, they were making their way closer to them. "Everyone, hurry and get on board!" Sunset said as she readied her weapon. In the blink of an eye, she made a mad dash towards the horde, unsheathing her sword and decapitating three of them at once. One was about to reach out to grab her, but was shot in the head by Button from long range. In an instant, a plan was formed between them. Sunset would attack at close range while Button would watch her six from long range. While they were handling that, the others continued to hurry everyone into the busses before anymore came.

Inside the building, Shining Armor was trying his best to get free; yanking on the cuffs to the point that he was about to break his wrist. "Stop, you'll hurt yourself!" said Night Light.

"Well what do you expect me to do?!" he argued. "Everyone's leaving, and i'm stuck here!"

"They won't leave you." Night Light reassured. "I just heard Miss Rarity tell Spear to come get you. He's on his way."

Shining looked around but didn't see Spear yet, at the same time, there were two other people he didn't see as well. "Where's Mother and Twilight? I don't see them anywhere."

"I didn't see them either, but then again, there were a lot of people here, so maybe their out in one of the buses already." Night Light answered.

"No.....they're with him." Shining growled at the realization. Shining began making another attempt to getting free only to be stopped by his father who didn't want him hurting himself. Soon after, Spear walked up towards them with both Sonata and Aria behind him. The two girls had their weapons ready in case something unexpected happens.

"Okay, Rarity wants you to drive one of the busses." he said as he went to uncuff him.

"What?! Why should I?!" Shining asked.

"Because if you don't then we'll leave you here to fend for yourself." said Aria. Night Light wanted to say something, but a death glare from both girls holding weapons with their fingers on the trigger kept him from do so. When Shining was finally free, he slowly stood up; looking at his father before turning his attention to Spear.

"My mother and sister aren't here." he said.

"Rarity sent Adagio to get them." Sonata said with venom in her voice. Shining Armor released a low growl; knowing that he was in no position to protest anything, especially when there were two girls standing in front of him holding assault rifles. With no other words being said, Shining and Night Light started to move towards the entrance.

****************************

Spike and the others made it to the food court where the first thing Spike did was run outside to his parents. To his shock, they weren't there. "Spike, wait!" Twilight called as she ran up behind him.

"W-Where are they?" he asked.

"Over here." she said in a soft tone. Taking Spike's hand she lead him over to the van where his parents lay; waiting to be taken home to their final resting place. Spike just stood there staring at the van while Twilight squeezed his hand; giving him what little comfort she could. It was surreal seeing his parent's lifeless bodies just laying there. Truth be told, Spike was still trying to process that they were no longer here.

"Twilight!" called Adagio; catching their attention. "Everyone's being evacuated right now, Rarity wants us to bring the vehicles around so we can leave when when they do." Cream and Velvet walked out behind her; having just been told of the plan. Cream opted to take the truck and suggested for Velvet to drive the van holding Spike's parents. Twilight was about to protest that, but Spike stepped in; telling her it was okay. They didn't have time to waste and moved to towards the vehicles. Cream and Sunset headed for the truck while Velvet and Spike got in the van with Twilight wanting to go with them, however, due to Spike's parents taking up the middle and back seats, she moved to sit in Spike's lap. The two vehicles started to move; driving around the mall towards the northern area.

When they finally made around, they saw the survivors nearly tripping over themselves as they rushed to get inside the buses while the zombies were being held back by Button and Sunset. The only thing is, there looked to be even more of them appearing from no where. They were going to be overran at this point, but Adagio got out of the truck and ran to join the fight. Twilight did as well, much to her mother's protest, while Spike couldn't really do anything since Twilight was the one who took his weapons from him. Believing they must be with Rarity, Spike left the van and ran inside the building. In doing so, he caught the attention of Shining Armor and Night Light who were already on one of the busses. Just seeing him caused the police officer's blood to boil. He wanted so bad to go in and finish what he started, but with the zombies closing in inch by inch, he knew he wouldn't be able to make it back in time, not to mention that Aira and Sonata would probably shoot him down before he even got to Spike. Night Light looked around for signs of his wife, but didn't see her anywhere. He DID however see his daughter fighting off the undead. Seeing his only daughter engage in something so dangerous caused the man to make an attempt to leave the bus to get her, but the amount of people entering at the same time preventing him from doing so.

Inside the building, Rarity was instructing the last of the survivors when she noticed Spike running over to retrieve his weapons before heading back out. By the way he was moving, she deduced that the situation outside was getting worse.

Spike ran back out and assisted the others in pushing back the horde that seemed to somehow still be growing in numbers. Sunset was right in the middle of it; using her superior sword skills to decapitate as many of them as she could in a single strike, while the others shot up the rest in she didn't get. Before long, the last few of the survivors entered the buses and Rarity gave them the go head to get out of here. As they started to move, Night Light yelled out, saying that his wife wasn't on board. One of the other survivors revealed that she might've gotten on one of the other busses, but something told him otherwise. It wasn't until the bus drove pass the van holding Spike's parents that he saw Velvet sitting in the driver's seat. As they passed each other, Velvet gave him a look that said she wasn't going with him.

She could hear her husband yelling out for her, but she just ignored him. Her marriage was all but dead, and she was tired of allowing him to abuse her in order to "save" it. She was going with Spike and the others; she owed it to him to at least give his parents a proper burial. As for making amends for everything, she was unsure if that was even possible.
