Vintavia Scralody Season 2

Daytime. Vinyl and Octavia are walking towards the Bridleway Theater District.

“Man, I’ve been waiting to see this movie for a year. I've been waiting for this long, I had to play the trailers on loop.” Vinyl said with excitement.

“Oh, well I hope you were doing that during the day.” Said Octavia looking worried.

“Of course I did. Cuz if I did it for the night also, I wouldn’t remember anything.” Vinyl said as she chuckled.

The duo reached the box office and buy their tickets.

“One please.” Said Vinyl and Octavia as they put their bits on the counter.

The Ticket Salespony takes the bits from the girls and hands them each a ticket. “Enjoy the movie.”

Vinyl and Octavia head inside the doors. They enter inside the Theater. They make their way through to their seats next to each other. they start watching the movie. A couple of ponies come towards the Seats and sits right next to the girls. The pony beside Vinyl begins to sniffle from an allergy problem. This annoyed Vinyl a little bit. The pony beside Octavia is texting on her phone with the brightness being high. Octavia looks at her for a few seconds.

A random pony notices Octavia looking at her phone “Do you mind? I’m texting!” She continued texting as Octavia glared At her for being rude but shrugs it off.

Vinyl is still looking annoyed at the pony beside her as he continues to sniff Louder than before.

“Quit it!” Exclaimed Vinyl.

“Well excuuuuuuse me, princess. But some of us are actually sick!” Snapped the other pony.

Vinyl and Octavia growled in anger before other ponies came in. They started chattering while the movie was playing. The duo exited the theatre in anger.

“What was that about?” Said Vinyl with an angry expression.

“Yeah! Mares can be rude sometimes.” Agreed Octavia also looking mad.

“And people thought I was a jerk.” Said Vinyl looking unamused.

“Well, you were back then.” Pointed out Octavia.

“Yeah. Can’t blame ya.” Agreed Vinyl.

“So what do you think we should do about the noise?” Asked Octavia going back to the theatre problem.

“I dunno, but if we ever decided to make our own theatre we-” Vinyl said before realizing that she got an idea. “That’s it! Octavia! I know what we’re gonna do today!” She exclaimed.

“What’s that?” Asked Octavia in curiosity.

“We’re gonna make our own theatre!” The unicorn exclaimed in excitement.

“But Vinyl, we don’t know anything about construction.” Pointed out the grey earth pony.

“We don’t need to.” Said Vinyl with a smirk. “C’mon buddy!” She exclaimed as she and Octavia took off.

Sire's Hollow, Day. Vinyl and Octavia are talking to Crafty Crate.

“So let me get this straight. You two girls want a theatre of your own so you can have an easier time watching movies.” Said Crafty making sure he got it right.”

“Uh huh.” Replied the two mares.

There was a brief silence.

Crafty got out a contract and handed it to Vinyl and Octavia.

“Alright just sign here and we will do the best we can.” Said the Pegasus as Vinyl wrote both of their names with her magical horn.

Construction vehicles came by and started building the theatre. Vinyl and Octavia decided to come back after the building was done, which would be done by tomorrow.

The two mares went back home and it was night time already. They opened the door and they sat in their living room on the couch.

“Man, I’m tired.” Said Vinyl looking exhausted.

“So am I.” Said Octavia also looking exhausted.

Vinyl leaned forward to Octavia and gave her a kiss on the lips.

“What was that?” Asked Octavia with a smile.

“I dunno...I just love you.” Answered Vinyl.

Octavia chuckled. “But why now?” She asked.

“We haven’t made love in a while.” Said Vinyl looking back at the last time they made out.

The two mares chuckled while blushing. Octavia leaned over to her best friend and gave her a soft kiss on the lips as a return.

“I love you, Vinyl.” Octavia whispered.

“I love you too, Octavia.” Vinyl also whispered.

Vinyl and Octavia started wrapping their hooves around each other tightly, they did so while exploring each other’s lips. The two mares expressed their feelings towards each other for as long as they could.

“I want to hold you when I’m scared.” Whispered Octavia as she rubbed her cheek against Vinyl’s.

“So do I.” Whispered Vinyl doing the same.

Octavia gave Vinyl a confused Expression. “But I thought you weren’t that scared.”

“Trust me, buddy. I have a lot of fears. But the main one being that id loose you and have to find a new bestie to hang with.” Vinyl said as Octavia blushed happily.

“D’aww.” Replied Octavia as the two mares continued making out.

Vinyl wrapped her hoof around Octavia’s neck, pulling her down with her as Vinyl began to lay down flat. Octavia was on top of Vinyl now; never separating their lips on the way down for fear that it might ruin the mood.

Time has passed and the duo was sleeping on the couch. Cuddling with each other.

The next morning, the two mares were cuddling up on each other until their phone alarms woke them up causing them to panic and fall of their couch.

“We’ve gotta stop doing that.” Vinyl moaned as Octavia nodded in agreement.

“What time is it anyways?” Octavia questioned as she pulled up her phone and checked the time. “Ah, crap. It’s 1:00 p.m.! We gotta go check out if the theatre is done.” She suggested as Vinyl Nodded in agreement. The girls take off.

Sire's Hollow, Day. The girls walk towards the newly designed theatre. They were both surprised as they stand in front of the building. The girls come in and squeal with excitement.

“So what movie should we watch?” Asked Vinyl as she looks around the movie posters.

“Ooh, I heard the babysitter is playing.” Said Octavia pointing towards the poster.

“But it’s a horror film.” Pointed out Vinyl.

“I know, but we can at least give it a chance.” Said Octavia confidentially.

“Alright.” Vinyl shrugged as she and Octavia walked towards some seats at the very back, the perfect place to cuddle.

“You want me to grab us some popcorn?” Requested the grey mare.

“Nah, I’m not that hungry.” Answered the unicorn.

The movie had already begun and It was about a young filly living with his older babysitter, but he soon realizes that the babysitter is evil.

The two mares were still watching the movie and Octavia wrapped her hooves around her marefriend because she was scared. Vinyl returned the hug and rubbed her hooves around Octavia’s back softly.

“Shh. It’s ok buddy, I’m here for you.” Vinyl whispered while still holding her tightly.

Octavia calmed down towards the movie’s end as she and Vinyl held Hooves together. The movie was over and the two mares walked out of the theatre and out of the building.

Vinyl and Octavia went back to their house and it was night time. They entered the building and went upstairs to their room.

“So how did you like the movie, Tavi?” Vinyl asked.

“It was scary, but It was something alright.” Replied the earth pony.

“I mean, you were holding on to me for most of it. But yeah, it was pretty cool.” Said Vinyl.

The girls were on their beds as they put their hooves around their backs while laying down. There was a moment of silence before one of them started talking.

“You know, I can’t help but wonder if we’re missing something.”

“Popcorn? Sex? Cuddling?” Asked Vinyl with an eyebrow raised.

“No Vinyl I...Nevermind.” Octavia said in defeat.

Vinyl shrugged it off. “So what movie do you wanna see next?” She asked.

“Vinyl, we don’t have anymore bits.” Said Octavia.

“Correction: you don’t have any bits.” Said Vinyl as she got up from the bed and walked towards the closet and opens up one of the sliding doors revealing a shelf with jars full of bits.

“Woah, how did you manage all that?” Asked Octavia looking amazed. Vinyl raised an eyebrow at her because the grey mare almost forgot the answer, and the answer was her music. “Oh right.” She said chuckling awkwardly. “In that case, let’s go see Flanksplosions 4 tomorrow.”

“A-ha, I knew you’d be looking forward to seeing this movie.” Exclaimed Vinyl with enthusiasm.

The unicorn went back on the bed and turn off her lamp. She put her hoof around her bestie for warmth.

“Hey Vinyl.”

“Yeah?”

“I know I’ve said this more than once, but thanks for helping me look on the bright side.” Octavia said as she kissed Vinyl on the cheek.

“No problem, bud. I know you tend to overreact sometimes, but I’m here for you always.”

They shared a giggle for a bit before holding each other for warmth as they sleep.

The alarms on their phones rang but this time it didn’t scare the girls, this was because they remembered to put the volume down. They got up and rubbed their eyes.

“Well, at least we didn’t panic.” Said Vinyl in relief.

“Totally.” Agreed Octavia.

The girls remembered they wanted to see Flanksplosions 4. They got out of their beds, ate breakfast, and brushed their teeth at the same time. They looked at each other while doing so followed by chuckling.

They head out the door where they notice a group of mares walking with each other talking about watching the same movie but in a different theatre. Vinyl and Octavia exchanged awkward chuckles at each other.

“Lame huh?” Said Vinyl sheepishly.

“So glad we’re past that.” Agreed Octavia as she and Vinyl walk away from their house.

Sire's Hollow, Day. The girls walk towards the theatre. They head inside and walk towards the same seats they sat on last time.

“You know by the title alone it’s hilarious, because it’s like butts are literally exploding.” Whispered Vinyl to Octavia as she let out a soft chuckle.

Octavia smiled as she rolled her eyes and planted a soft kiss on Vinyls cheek. “And that’s why I love you, sweetheart.”

“Thanks.”

“Don’t mention it.”

And so began a hundred and fifty-four minutes of violence and improper camera angles.

As the movie Kept on playing there was a small scene in the film where a group of mares were walking towards the cinema laughing their way into the building. Vinyl and Octavia tried to get it out of their heads but it didn’t work and glanced at each other looking kinda guilty.

As the movie finished. The girls exited the theatre with their happy grins on their faces, but their grins slowly start to fade with sadness and disappointment

Flashback to where they were watching previous movies with a crowd of mares and bursting with laughter with them laughing. They all began to talk with each other about how great the movies were as they exited the theatre.

Flashback ends and Vinyl and Octavia feel regretful about with just the two of them watching movies alone.

Vinyl finally snapped. “Tavi, I can't do this anymore! So what if watching movies with other ponies is not always perfect? I’m not ready to give it up!

“Me neither! Clearly we’d be making a lot more friends while doing so.” Octavia agreed.

“But what are we supposed to do?”

“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but we should tear down our theatre.”

“But that would cost a lot of bits!” Exclaimed Vinyl.

Octavia raised an eyebrow at Vinyl as the unicorn almost forgot about the closet full of bits.

“Oh, yeah!” Vinyl said sheepishly.

********

Vinyl and Octavia are at the same location but they are talking to crafty crate. Vinyl brought a jar of bits with her.

“Look sir, We thought it was fun watching movies in peace.” Began Vinyl.

“But we didn’t think about the happiness of other mares. They don’t want to be noisy, they just want to have a good time for themselves.” Finished Octavia.

“We know that it’s gonna cost us, but it’s worth it.” Said Vinyl bravely.

Crafty crate put his hoof on his chin and thought for a moment.

“I’m that case: 500,000 bits.” Said Crafty crate confidently.

Vinyl handed the Pegasus the jar of bits as he took them. He pulled out a button that tears down the cinema.

“You girls might wanna back up.”

The two mares ran as far away from the cinema before the building collapsed to the ground.

Octavia and Vinyl we’re back at the Bridleway Theater District.

“It’s good to Finally be home.” Said Vinyl in relief.

“Agreed.” Said Octavia as she and Vinyl locked arms with each other happily.

They enter inside the Theater. They make their way through to their seats next to each other. they start watching the movie.

Vinyl starts talking to the audience. “Not every time you watch a movie with other mares has to be perfect. But what matters is that you have fun with the ponies you admire.”

Buckets of popcorn get thrown at Vinyl and Octavia. They smile and start laughing with the audience while watching the movie.
