You jolt awake.
Hmm… you must have almost fallen asleep.
You know better than to fall asleep right now. Chances are, if you fall asleep here, you’re not getting up again.
You’ve been traveling across this featureless desert wasteland for days. Sweat drips into your eyes and threatens to obscure your vision, but the desert heat evaporates even your sweat.
This is definitely no place for ponies.
You feel lightheaded. You must be getting sunstroke.
Well, you already had it. You got it the instant you entered this desert, and it’s just gotten worse and worse from there.
You squint to shield your eyes from the sandstorm. You try to raise a hoof to your face to protect your nose and mouth, but you don’t have the energy to lift your leg. The only reason you’re still trudging along is because stopping means death.
Why were you here on the Lost Continent? You strain to remember, but your mind doesn’t seem to be working properly. You can’t recall anything in particular. You briefly have a fleeting thought that perhaps you came to this desert to reach Red Mountain and stop Dagoth Ur.
You shake your head. What was that about? That didn’t even make sense! You’re fairly sure Red Mountain isn’t even a place. You must have dreamt it or something.
You can’t remember anything. All that’s on your mind is surviving this sandstorm.
Your steps become more laboured. It is getting harder to move forwards.
Your nose is starting to bleed from the sandstorm. Or perhaps your eyes? You can’t tell. You can only feel blood running down your face.
You collapse.
You hear a chittering sound, like insect wings flapping rapidly. You haven’t opened your eyes yet. The air in here, wherever you are, feels much cooler. The whole place smells musky.
Slowly, your force your eyes open. You aren’t dead, it seems. All you can see is a dark blue rock ceiling above you, covered in strange glowing green slime. You manage to sit up. You notice a figure in the room with you, but you cannot make it out clearly. It’s too dark.
The figure approaches you and is illuminated by the green slime on the walls. It seems to be a creature about a pony’s size, but it’s wings are torn and it’s flesh is pure black. It is wearing a headscarf obscuring it’s face, but you see 2 pale blue glowing eyes staring at you.
This probably wasn’t a good thing.
You slowly back away from the creature, but find yourself slipping on the slimy floor. Looking around, you notice you’re in a kind of small cavern or cave, formed of dark blue rock and with the strange green slime everywhere.
The creature stares at you for a moment then leaves the room. You manage to adjust yourself to walking on the slippery floor and walk over to the door of the room you’re in. Predictably, it’s locked.
You trot back to the centre of the room and look around for a weapon in case the creatures turn out to be hostile and you have to fight your way out. Of course, you’re weak from the sandstorm and you suck at fighting anyway, but it’s worth a try.
You hear the door open. You look back in the doorway to see a much taller figure with glowing green eyes and a fluorescent mane approaching you. She doesn’t look like a creature that could exist on this planet. You wonder if you’ve been abducted by aliens. You scold yourself for being retarded. Aliens, seriously.
You attempt to stare down the figure as intimidatingly as possible. Chances are, you just look terrified.
“I…” the figure begins, “am Queen Chrysalis.”
Her jagged, broken horn lights up and the slime on the walls glows brighter. The room is fully lit up now, and you can see Chrysalis.
She has bright green eyes with snake-like pupils and what can only be described as an evil glint to them. Her blue mane is torn and stringy and clearly not made out of the same material as a pony’s mane. Her skin, like the guard you woke up to, is pure black. Her legs inexplicably have holes in them, some of which leak slime out of them. Her wings are transparent and the same colour as her mane. But they’re torn and ragged, and don’t look like she could possibly fly with them.
“Uh… I…” you’re at a loss for words, but also notice your throat is too dry to speak properly. Chrysalis apparently notices this and scoops up some green slime from a small pool in the corner of the room.
“Drink this,” she says. You reluctantly send the sludge down your throat. It doesn’t taste that bad.
“Now,” Chrysalis begins, “tell me something, pony. Which country are you from?”
The answer is Equestria, but you hesitate to answer. Something clicked in your mind when you saw Chrysalis and you realized that you must have been captured by changelings, and this must be the changeling queen. The changelings attempted to occupy Equestria somewhat recently, and you get the feeling that they must hold a lot of animosity and bitterness towards Equestria.
“Um… I’m from, uh… Ooo,” you say, thinking up a random name that sounds like a country.
“What? I’ve never heard of Ooo,” she says. Her tone of voice lets you know that she doesn’t believe you at all. And she’s getting pissed off.
“Okay… I’m from Equestria,” you admit.
“Yes… Equestria,” she spits out the word. “Tell me this. What is an Equestrian doing here on the Lost Continent, on the other side of the world from Equestria.”
“I have no idea,” you say.
“Don’t joke with me!” Chrysalis yells. “If you do not want to simply tell me the information, I can have it tortured out of you.”
“No, I actually don’t know!” you say. “I can’t remember anything much before I passed out in a sandstorm.”
She stares into your eyes, narrowing her own. She seems to be staring into the depths of your soul.
“Very well,” she says. “Fine. Do you know where you are?”
“I’m guessing some kind of Changeling place?” you guess.
“Yes, this is the Changeling hive of Ak’Skrxyankal,” she says.
You wonder how the hell she managed to pronounce that. Must be a Changeling word, you guess.
“I’m convinced you’re not an Equestrian spy,” she says. “And you can wait out the sandstorm in this hive. However, if you show even a hint of suspicious behaviour, I will have you thrown out or worse. Do you understand?”
“Yeah,” you reply.
“Good,” she says, smiling. You can’t tell whether the smile was supposed to be one of friendship towards you or just a generic evil smile.
“You can make yourself useful by assisting my people in whatever way they ask of you,” she instructs. She turns to leave and begins walking out of the door.
Oh great. Sidequests. No way.
“Hey,” you say. “Changelings feed on love, don’t they?”
Chrysalis turns back to you. “…Yes?”
“So,” you begin, “why don’t I let you feed on me?”
“What? You know being fed upon is a highly unpleasant process, do you not? And I doubt one meager pony would possess enough love to feed even a baby changeling,” she says.
“What if we were to… MAKE some love?” you say. You mentally pat yourself on the back for a PERFECTLY DELIVERED PUN.
Chrysalis narrows her eyes at you. “What’s that supposed to… Oh! Oh, right,” she says in realization.
“I mean, it’s just a suggestion,” you say. “Would that feed you better?”
“Theoretically, yes,” she begins, narrowing her eyes at you once again. You get the feeling you’re being closely scrutinized. “But… Oh, fine. What harm could it do?”
Chrysalis walks over to you and pushes you lightly with her hole-filled hoof, so that you’re lying on your back.
She stands over you so her forelegs are next to your shoulders and her hindlegs are next to your hips. She looks down at you and smiles devilishly. She’s beautiful…
She lowers herself slowly towards your erect cock. The tension is maddening. She seems to enjoy taunting you, and moves down slower and slower and slower, until, finally…
“AAAAAUGH!” you scream.
“What?!” she asks.
“Fucking ow! What the hell?! Ow!!” you look down at your penis. It’s covered in small incisions. “What the hell?!”
“I thought you knew Changelings had spiked vaginas?” she asks.
“NO! I OBVIOUSLY DIDN’T!” you squeal. Chrysalis backs away from you but slips on the slimy floor and goes flying along the room until she hits the wall. Her collision with the wall causes a stalagmite to shatter. The stalagmite fragments jam up one of the slime-leaking holes on the wall, so the slime cannot escape. You do not notice this as you are busy nursing your shredded dick.
The slime eventually builds enough pressure to shoot out at high speeds and the deluge hits the wall at the other end of the room, causing a vibration which dislodges a changeling goo-sac on the ceiling which proceeds to fall directly on top of you, trapping you inside.
“Aaagh!” Chrysalis screams. “Get out of there!”
You attempt to speak but the goo surrounding you appears to be silencing you.
Chrysalis’s horn glows and the sac bursts open and tosses you to the ground.
“Are you okay?” she asks.
You’re not okay. The goo entered the cuts on your penis and began burning furiously. You’re in so much pain you can hardly breathe.
“NO I’M NOT OKAY! I’M NOT FUCKING OKAY!” you scream at her.
“Okay, calm down, I was just-“
“WHY WOULD I BE OKAY?! YOU STUPID SWISS-CHEESE LEGS IDIOT!” you rant.
“Look, calm down before-“
Chrysalis' appeal for calm goes unheard as your pain-fuelled rant continues in full force.
“SHUT UP! YOU STUPID GREEN SLIME BASTARD! YOU INSECT-WINGS BULLSHIT WANKER! YOU SNAKE-EYES DICKHEAD! YOU SHITTY RIPPED-MANE MORON BITCH!”
You continue your rant at full force and barely notice her horn lighting up once more.
You are encompassed in a green glow and find yourself back in the featureless desert, surrounded by a burning sandstorm.
She teleported you back into the desert!
Oh, great. Now you’re gonna die. At least things can’t get any worse, you muse.
You look down to see you're stood in a quicksand pit.
