Bad News
One day in Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle was in her study when Rainbow Dash kicked her door down, "Did you get the mail!?" She sounded horrified.
"Uhh no, what are you." She was interrupted when Rainbow Dash shoved a piece of paper in her face. It said the following.
"My faithful students, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. As an assignment, you shall be evicted from your homes and live in Ponyville's worst hotel for a year." Twilight began speaking in tongues, she was confused, why would Celestia do this? She checked her calender, making sure it wasn't April 1st. It was smack dab in the middle of January. Rarity then came in, followed by Applejack, then Fluttershy, and finally Pinkie Pie.
"I heard you got the news." Twilight said, "I'm going to the Princess to settle things."  She called spike down, and they began their travel to Canterlot to get things straightened out.
When the two arrived they went straight for the palace, kicking down the door to Celestia's study, Celestia sighed when she saw them and said. "Why is this here?" She showed the paper to Celestia, making the mare sigh again she began to explain.
"Sending you to the apartment is a test of true friendship." She said with a smile, Twilight began to retort, but before she could, Celestia used her magic to teleport the gang into the lobby of the apartment complex.  Applejack finished saying something as they arrived, the place was dirty and old. Rarity stepped in what was possibly grease.
"Ew ew ew!!" Rarity said, lifting her hoof away from the grease. Flies began raging around Rarity's hoof, screaming she ran out the door.
"Rarity wait!" Applejack yelled, she was long gone. The ponies noticed Scootaloo working there.
"Oh!" Scootaloo was surprised "Princess Celestia told me you were coming. Your staying at uhh." She looked at a refrence sheet. "Room 1" she shuddered. "Have fun.." She knew what room 1 was, it was the worst room in the apartment. They began to walk to the room, as Twilight opened the door, a foul smell hit her. She gasped at the horrendous room. There were dirty rats all over the place. Twilight began to walk in, there was a broken tv, cracked walls. And creaky floorboards.
"Well girls..." Twilight paused, "Here we are.." Pinkie pie jumped into the room,
"Oooh! A kitchen!" She checked a surprisingly working fridge for food. She found some rotten meat with dead flies everywhere. "Ok never mind." Rainbow Dash walked in asking what was in there. "You really don't want to know." Dash's cocky personality got in the way.
"What is it that could be so.." She saw the contents, she threw up all over the floor. "This isn't a test of friendship. It's a test of our sanity, and I got an F." Fluttershy backed away to the entrance of the room.
"I'll just sleep out here tonight. You know, if you don't um mind." Applejack opened the door to the bedroom. There was only one bed. It was really dirty, but Applejack didn't care. She jumped onto the bed, but as she did lots of cockroaches came running out from under the sheets. She screamed, getting the other ponies' attention.
"Applejack! What happened?" Twilight ran in to the room. Applejack began hyperventilating, she walked out, muttering something.
