Chapters MLP Characters Watch: The Story Of Celestia and Luna
Where in tarnation are we?!
Twilight woke up with a horrible headache. She let out a groan as she blinked away the darkness.
“Where.. Am I?” she mumbled, getting up on all fours. The young alicorn looked around, suddenly she screamed so shrill any windows would have shattered.
“WHHHHHHHATTTTT?!”
Pinkie appeared...out of nowhere and hugged Twilight. “There you are!!! We’ve been in this weird theater for like, hours!”
Twilight gasped before slowly pulling Pinkie away. “We?” the bookworm muttered. “Who else got sent here?” She looked beyond the party pony and saw that the rest of her friend group was trying to figure out how to break out.
Fluttershy was trying to push off a closing to a ceiling alongside Rainbow Dash, but it seemed to stick. “Uhm...it seems like this won’t work.”
“Damn it…” Rainbow flew away back to the floor and sat on her haunches with an annoyed growl.
Twilight sighed. “We can only wait around. Maybe something will happen?”
“What in tarnation?!” Applejack hacked on the smoke that made her lungs ached.
“What is the meaning of this?” Luna jolted, her wings flaring in alarm.
Celestia looked around the room carefully. “Why are we all in a theater room?”
“BECAUSE WE WANT YOU TO WATCH SOMETHING!”
Everypony turned to the source, which was… a umbreon? She was a shiny variant and looked rather stiff, and a rather new set of stitches could be seen on the underside of her left ear.
Pinkie giggled, Rarity stared alongside Twilight, and Fluttershy’s eyes lit up.
Once Robot had recovered, she winced and rubbed her ear. “Anyway, I am here to say that we brought you here to watch the backstory of two ponies in this room. But before we do that, I need to put down some rules.”
“Number 1, you will call me Robot. You may see my cohost appear sometime. His name is Kitty, but you can also use they/them. Call us anything else and we will snipe your legs.” Everypony winced at the threat.
“Number 3… Uhhhh….”
Robot just stared into space for 5 minutes after that.
Twilight coughed. “And….?”
Robot gasped. “Oh yeah! Before we see the backstory, we are going to be watching a quick animation that a fan made.”
Luna narrowed her eyes. “Show us, then.”
The tiny creature giggled in glee and suddenly shouted. “HEY KITTY! CAN YOU PLAY LULLABY FOR A PRINCESS ON THE SCREEN?”
“Uh-sure thing!” The sylveon responded, pressing a button while still being out of sight.
“Princess?” she asked. “Are you ok?”
Celestia nervously looked at her apprentice, and forced a smile. “O-of course I am, Twilight!”
Rainbow rolled her eyes. “Yeah, I don’t think-”
“SUSH!”
[Celestia was shown pointing at a screen in her pocket dimension.
“Once did a pony who shone like the sun, look out at her kingdom and sigh….”]
Celestia looked away.
Everyone else went quiet, eager to learn some more about the co ruler of their land
[“She smiled and said, “Surely there is no pony, so lovely, and so well beloved as I…”]
Luna felt the bitter taste of jealousy once again ring in her mouth.
Rarity rubbed Luna’s shoulder, least in the best way she could due to the height difference.
[The screen showed an amazing picture of Celestia, her pink hair waving in the wind, her wings stunningly beautiful it was almost blinding.
“So great was her reign and so brilliant her glory that long was the shadow she cast..”]
Twilight frowned, trying to wrap her head around it. It seemed like her mentor back then was getting so much praise she might as well have been a living god. So why did she sound so guilty..?
Celestia lowered down in her seat, knowing what was to come. Pinkie looked closer to the screen in curiosity.
[The screen switched, showing the majestic Celestia, and a familiar pony wilting in the shadows.
"Which fell dark upon the young sister she loved.. And grew only darker as days and nights passed.”]
Twilight gasped.
AJ looked away darkly.
Rainbow hung her head.
Luna had a blank look on her face.
Pinkie’s ears drooped.
Rarity and Fluttershy muttered “Oh dear…”
Twilight turned to look at her mentor, already knowing what she was going to see.
Celestia hid her face with a pillow.
[The scene switched to a bedroom, and a much younger Luna could be seen crying in a ball. Celestia was at the doorway, and she looked vastly different. She was still lithe with rather long legs, but she looked way younger, probably barely reached adulthood, and her hair was completely pink. Celestia looked sad at first, but she then tried to reach out with a smile.
“They completely forgot about me.” Those were the only bitter words that Luna could choke out through the growing lump.
AJ tensed up, knowing the feeling of older sibling jealousy all too well.
Twilight had never felt that, but the raw emotion was enough for her to get the hit.
Rainbow didn’t have any siblings, but the feeling of jealousy was an old friend, so she could kinda relate to Luna.
Rarity looked down with guilt, knowing how she used to treat her little sister.
Pinkie felt sympathetic and expressed that through droopy tears, even if she usually got along with her sisters fairly well.
Fluttershy joined Pinkie in crying, what if her brother felt the same way since she got her life together much earlier than him?
[Luna uncurled out of her ball and thrusted a hoof at Celestia, a look of seething hatred on her face.]
Everypony watching winced at that, and even more at Celestia’s heartbroken face.
“And neither had she loved her as she deserved.” The two sisters started fighting. Luna got so infuriated she slammed on the ground with such force it cracked. She used a spell that shut Celestia out the door. “She watched as her sisters unhappiness grew..” Luna’s tearing eyes open, and they were dilated and hateful, her teeth gritted.
“I’m...sorry.” Celestia whimpered out.
“But such is the way of the limelight, it sweetly takes hold of the mind of it’s host..” Luna, older, but still not as old as now, was seen in her mind accepting the holds of… Nightmare Moon.
“Oh no…” Twilight muttered. “Oh no no, NO…” She started hyperventilating in panic.
Pinkie held Twilight’s hoof, taking deep breaths with her. “B-breathe Twilight, b-breathe…”
AJ gritted her teeth so loud, even Robot could hear it.
Fluttershy curled up in fear, while Rarity held her.
Rainbow shuffled around, not knowing what to do.
Celestia continued to look away.
Celestia was soon outside the door, breath quick and eyes wide, she looked at the door sadly before walking away, her head hanging. “And that foolish pony did nothing to stop, the destruction of one who had needed her most…”
Luna wanted to drop dead. Anything would be better than the storm of emotion she was going through right now.
Celestia’s breathing hitched a little.
Everypony was too stunned by emotion to comment.
The screen panned up to the solar eclipse. Yellow and Blue flashes were seen clashing. The screen got a close up of Nightmare Moon and her elder sibling in another impact, Celestia was seen looking heartbroken while Nightmare had a gritted sneer. “Lullay moon princess, good night sister mine.”
“L-lullay…?!”
Rainbow Dash’s shocked words are what sent Twilight into muffled hysterics.
Luna was silently sobbing.
Pinkie held Twilight closer.
Rarity and Fluttershy cried next to each other.
Celestia practically was blue screening.
AJ said nothing or did anything. She had already blue screened.
As the two sisters bounced back from the impact, Nightmare fired a beam. Celestia shielded it and flew into Nightmare Moon, and they rolled in mid air before Nightmare bucked her elder sibling in the chest, sending her flying down. Celestia barley got her feet and zoomed away before Nightmare shoot a beam where she was just at. “Rest now in moonlight’s embrace..”
Twilight blue screened, becoming the next victim, and Luna looked to be joining them soon.
Pinkie was still trying her hardest to comfort Twilight, bless her, and the other two were sobbing at this point.
Robot looked at Celestia. “You ok, there, Sunny? You look like someone poured bleach on your face.”
‘WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?’ the few ponies and co host who were not mentally shutting down thought in confusion.
Rainbow looked at the umbreon. “Uh, why aren’t YOU freaking out?”
Robot smirked.
“I only recently found this video 2 days ago. I just recovered this morning.”
Rainbow became the next pony to blue screen.
Kitty could be heard cackling in the distance.
Robot had to pause the video to unfreeze everyone. She hit play once Twilight, Rainbow and AJ had been slapped enough times.
“Bear up my lullaby, winds of the earth-” Celestia was seen flying extremely low the ground, avoiding Nightmare’s continuing spell blasts. She flew up over her opponent. “Through cloud and through sky, and through space” Celestia fired a spell blast, catching Nightmare in it, she was seen getting dragged down by the spell before it exploded. Somehow Nightmare wasn’t affected.
“DODGE-WAIT-NO-AAA I DUNNO WHO TO ROOT FOR!!!” Pinkie cried.
“They shouldn’t even be fighting!” Twilight yelled in frustration. “I don’t know what to think!”
Luna felt it best to not comment.
Rainbow turned to Celestia. ‘You good?” the speeder asked nervously.
Celestia made a few more incomprehensible noises in response.
“ . . . Ok then, I’m not going to even think about how to respond to that.”
“Carry the peace and the coolness of night-” Both sisters fired blasts at each other. The shockwave was so powerful that it made the screen ripple and send goosebumps down the viewer’s spines. “And carry my sorrow in kind..” Celestia had the most regretful look while shedding tears, and Nightmare Moon was only more angry.
A small whimper left Twilight’s mouth, and Luna was 99% close to breaking down in tears.
AJ let out a choked sob.
Fluttershy and Rarity were basically hugging each other and crying at this point.
Pinkie rubbed Twilight’s shoulder.
“Luna you’re loved so much more than you know-” Nightmare’s blast was winning. She let out a unhearble scream. Celestia closed her eyes, readying for impact. The blast hit her and sent her flying.
“NO!’ Twilight screamed.
AJ just cried.
Rainbow would deny that she was crying, but she was.
Luna was choking on her own spit, how she wasn’t breaking down was a mystery.
Robot smirked. “The good parts coming.”
“W-what good part?” Fluttershy managed to get out.
“May troubles be far from your mind…” Celestia was sent crashing into a room, where a huge ball with artifacts was seen. A purple star fell out of a ball, falling to the floor. An injured Celestia opened her eyes to look at it. The Element of Magic.
“No….” Twilight whispered.
“And forgive me for being.. So blind…” Robot’s words came true as Nightmare was seen crashing into the room. In slowmo, Nightmare Moon was hit with a bubble, sending her essence to the moon for 1,000 years.
That was it. Robot sensed the shitshow about to happen and paused just in time.
Twilight just fucking snapped. She was screaming and howling.
Pinkie tried to make Twilight smile, but she couldn’t stop her own tears.
Fluttershy and Rarity continued to keep sobbing, even harder this time.
Luna sat there. She didn’t react. She could not BREATH. She-
THUNK.
Robot looked in shock at the collapsed alicorn. “..She fainted…?!”
Rainbow glared. “No, she’s just resting.”
“Oh, ok-”
“OF COURSE SHE FAINTED!”
As Robot swore and muttered about shouting, Applejack was trying her best to console Celestia.
Celestia knocked out of her state, and noticed Luna laying on the floor. “Luna?”
Applejack sighed. “Your li’ sis here just fainted. Poor rascal…”
Robot butted in. “Ok, as fun as it was to traumatize all of you, I’m just gonna stop it right there and call a snack and drink break before we get started on the REAL video.” She suddenly disappeared, and the lights went back on.
Rarity wiped away some tears after that was said. “Wait, what?”
Rainbow blinked. ‘What just happened?”
AJ only shrugged, wiping away her flowing tears.
After Twilight had calmed down, she woke up Luna, who slowly pressed herself into her elder sibling’s fur.
Celestia immediately hugged her sister, quietly apologizing.
Luna only said sorry in return.
Rainbow padded over to the cramped tables filled with snacks and drinks. “Well, might as well eat our sadness away!” she said as she popped a chip into her mouth. Twilight sighed and joined her, relishing in the cool drinks and tasty food.
Pinkie dove into eating the sweets, and Rarity brought some food for Fluttershy to help cheer her up.
Celestia nodded, and used her telekinesis to eat some cake slices.
Luna grabbed some leaf sandwiches and started munching down.
After everypony had ate to their heart's content, Robot reappeared.
“Has everyone recovered yet?” Robot huffed. “I’m sick of waiting!”
“I think so.” Fluttershy muttered. Rarity hummed in agreement.
“Much better!” Pinkie proclaimed, then sipped on a milkshake.
Twilight nodded, chomping away at chips. “We have all calmed down.”
Luna, who was contently snuggled into the other alicorn, nodded.
Robot clapped her hands, or paws? Whatever. “Ok, so the real video will now be playing, so GET BACK INTO YOUR DAMN SEATS!”
Everypony promptly did that.
“Ok!” The Umbreon said with a strangely cheerful voice. “Let’s do this, Kitty!”
AJ rolled her eyes.
Pinkie clapped in excitement.
“Ok!” Kitty said, then pressed the button again.
“Is anypony gonna-”
“RAINBOW SHUT UP!”

MLP Characters Watch: The Story Of Celestia and Luna
Lots and lots of screaming...
Narrator: 2,500 years ago, the sun and moon were moved by Equestia’s beloved rulers, King Tempest and his wife, Queen Faust.
“Whhaa….?” Twilight whined. “D-does that mean…?”
Rainbow choked on her spit.
AJ coughed loudly.
Luna’s eyes widened at those names and the ponies on screen. It had been so long since she saw those two faces.
Celestia’s ears lowered.
Pinkie loudly gasped, Rarity joined along a bit more quietly, and Fluttershy muttered “oh…”
Narrator: They decided to have children so their bloodline would continue with stability. Soon, a pony was growing in the queen’s body, and everypony eagerly awaited the day the child was born.
“I wonder who that pony was?”
“Decades…” Celestia whispered, her eyes widening at the realization. “It hasn’t even felt that long ago…”
Luna shook her head. “It hasn’t. I miss them..”
Narrator: One day, Faust suddenly collapsed, her eyes wide. “T-tempest….” she gasped, sweat pouring down her face.
Tempest hurried towards his wife, gently nuzzling her. “Is it…?” Even though he was concerned, the thought of knowing his own offspring was coming soon beamed him with a bit of energy. Faust nodded and moaned. “This pony is coming, get the doctor…”
“Oh gosh,” AJ gasped. “I don’t think the tech was that advanced, wasn’ it?”
Twilight rolled her eyes. “It was 2,500 years ago, Applejack. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t even have plumbing yet.”
“We mainly relied on each other for help.” Celestia explained.
Twilight happily lapped up this information. She would ask Celestia later for any historical texts about that time period.
With that, Tempest rushed to get help. After a couple of hours of pain, screaming, and a bit of crying, their foal finally arrived. “Look, it’s a mare…” Faust mumbled with joy. “Welcome to the world, my little pony..”
The theater exploded into chaos.
“WHAT?!” Twilight screeched. She suddenly felt the urge to blue screen again. “BUT HOW?!”
“THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!” Rainbow shouted. “THAT’S WHAT CELESTIA CALLS US!”
Luna suddenly lost faith in her subjects.
“IS THAT WHERE SHE GOT IT FROM???” Rarity loudly asked. Fluttershy curled up.
“I had a feeling it was sentimental!” Pinkie said.
“Awww, princess, you got that name from yer mother!” Applejack gushed. “That’s awful sweet of ya!” The farmer gave Celestia a kind smile.
Twilight was trying to regain normal breathing patterns.
Luna sighed then shook her head. “Sister was always more like Mother than Father. It’s no surprise she got the pet name from her as well.”
Celestia smiled. “It’s a way of honoring them.”
Tempest laid next to Faust, smiling warmly at his foal. She resembled him quite a bit, much to his slight surprise. “Doesn’t she look like you?” the queen smiled, looking down. The foal had her mother’s bright white coat and pink hair, while having her father’s sturdy face and chest.
“Sayyy, why WAS your hair like that at first?” Rainbow asked politely to everypony’s shock. “It’s now different colors then pink completely!”
“Uhh...basically it’s magic.” Celestia tried to explain.
Luna interrupted with a huff. ‘I’m sure all will be explained soon.”
Tempest nodded. “And you as well. I can see she’ll grow to be as strong as us.”
Luna’s eyes widened as she got a memory that had been long forgotten. Of a horrible beast crunching down on her, red flashes, and a young voice screaming.
Celestia closely held Luna. “That...will also be explained soon.”
Twilight narrowed her eyes before dropping the subject.
The kingdom had a tradition where members of the royal family were to be named in front of the subjects, so the next week the foal got her name. While screaming like she was being tortured.
Twilight blinked. “Princess.. YOU ARE SO CUTE!” she squealed. “LOOK AT YOUR witty little hooves…!”
Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy also squealed, Pinkie’s being at the highest pitch. “OHMIGOSH SHE’S SO TINY!!!” She squeaked out.
Luna turned to face her sister with a rare grin. “Looks like somepony didn’t get her milk that day.”
Robot snorted and Rainbow burst into laughter at the tease.
Celestia looked away and blushed, quietly groaning.
“Please calm down, my little pony…” Faust muttered.
The foal wasn’t listening nor complying, as the sight of so many ponies was...frightening to say the least. The change from staying in the comfort of her room alongside her parents to being shown among a large crowd was jarring.
Faust looked two seconds from exploding when she got an idea. “That’s it! She’s screaming to the heavens, so her name shall be Celestia.”
Silence.
Then the clearing burst into laughter.
“HAHAHAHAHAH!” Rainbow was rolling around with tears in her eyes. “THAT'S why you are called that?!” she choked out through the wheezing laughs.
“I thought it was because of your mane!” Rarity said.
Applejack giggled before stopping her laughs. “That’s quite a way to get a name, yer highness.”
Celestia just sighed.
Twilight glared at her still laughing crush. “Rainbow!” she hissed. “Don’t be rude! It’s how they named members of the royal family back in the day, show some respect!”
Luna shook her head. “It’s not even that funny. What has happened to humor in the 1,000 years I was gone?” she sighed.
Rainbow rolled over before jumping up and yelping. “Twi! Don’t poke my flank!”
Said young alicorn glared. “Stop laughing at Princess Celestia!”
Tempest held Celestia, and nodded in agreement. As the foal continued screaming, the kingdom roared in happiness and approval. Narrator: Celestia was an endearing child, often getting into antics because she was bored.
Luna smirked. “Well well, this could be useful in the future…” she chuckled.
“What do you mean by that, sister?” Celestia asked, finally facing her.
“Nothing, nothing at all…” Luna shook her head, still smirking.
“Hey, get back here!” A cook screamed as he saw his pasties get stolen.
Celestia kept running, giggling as she hid in a corner and started to eat some of the stolen food.
“Really, Princess?” Twilight deadpanned. “Not even Spike had the guts to steal from the cooks, and he is a baby DRAGON.”
Celestia shrugged. “I had no laws back then.”
Pinkie looked up at the ceiling, thinking. “Hmm...kinda reminds me of my filly days.”
Rainbow grinned. She used to do that all the time! Her speed helped, of course, but the thrill of eating the stolen sweets was a feeling that was treasured to the speedster.
“I’ll tell the king and queen!” The cook warned, growling.
Celestia rolled her eyes, knowing that her parents would probably try to make amends here. Maybe.
Luna giggled. “Even rolled your eyes! Sister, why didn’t you tell me you were so cute?” she gushed.
Applejack sighed in nostalgia.
Celestia just made a flustered noise.
The cook ran screaming in fury to the king, tired of the princess’s antics. “Please, his royal highness, that filly needs somepony to keep her busy!” he snarled, exposing his teeth.
Tempest thought for a few seconds, and nodded. “Perhaps I can think of a solution for this…” The queen’s embarrassed shout soon echoed through the castle. “You.. want another child with me?!”
Applejack blinked. “Uh.. Yer father was not really ta tactful one, huh?” she said with a drawl.
Luna blushed deeply.
“He seems really...blunt.” Fluttershy noted. Rarity made something between a shocked and disgusted noise.
Twilight facehooved. “I hope my dad wasn’t as crass when asking mom to have me..!”
Rainbow snorted once again.
Pinkie stared off. “I heard my parents talking about maybe having another foal.” She went back to a smile. “And then came Pizza Pie! Dunno where she is tho.”
“Well-” Tempest began, trying to explain, “Celestia usually is alone and that’s what causes her to get into a ruckus so often. A sibling might help her keep her mind away from things, and teach responsibility.”
“Or maybe having to send said sibling to the moon because of not following that advice..?” Too bad to Twilight, because everypony and Robot heard her.
Luna whipped her head around so hard you could hear a SNAP. “I beg your pardon?!”
Twilight paled. Oh no.
Fluttershy quickly came to her offense. “Uhm, I’m sure she didn’t mean any harm saying that, Luna!”
“How dARE YOU?” Luna snarled, almost fully breaking out the royal canterlot voice. “How dare you blame my sister for something that I DID?”
Rainbow paled and darted in front of the now terrified Twilight. “Hey, buck off!” she snapped, arching her back and hissing.
“Luna, calm down! There is no need to fight right now.” Celestia attempted to reason with her sister, putting a shoulder on her hoof.
“Calm down? CALM DOWN?!” Robot winced and paused the show as Luna was now belting in fury. “HOW CAN I CALM DOWN?! WERE YOU NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE VIDEO, TWILIGHT SPARKLE?! MY SISTER HAD TO COPE WITH ME BEING GONE AND FORGOTTEN FOR 1,000 YEARS!”
Applejack took a stance alongside Rainbow, fear sparking her gaze. “Princess Luna…”
Celestia quickly hugged her sister. “I know, I know. Those were...awful times. But I’m more happy with you being back here than upset.”
Luna wiggled in the elder alicorn’s grip. “But at least let me teach her a lesson…!” the moon princess lowered her ears and hissed at the cowering Twilight.
“No, no, I can deal with it.” Celestia stated.
Luna sighed and went limp, looking more like an oversized stuffed animal. Twilight quickly bolted back to her seat, ears flat and trembling.
Robot rolled her eyes and unpaused.
Faust coughed, seeing the reason. ‘I-I see.. But please give me some time to recover from this, first.” The queen sat down and stared into space.
Tempest slowly walked out. “Understandable.” The queen accepted the offer after calming down, and 1 month later, it was confirmed she was going to have another foal. “Oh, Tempest, isn’t it so amazing?” Faust sobbed. “We are having another little pony!”
Tempest nuzzled her, wiping away some of her tears. He was also crying a little. “Yes, yes it is, my dear!”
“Baby Luna is next!” Applejack chirped, trying to cheer up the dark mood.
Rarity made a gawking noise.
“What’s wrong, Rares?” Applejack frowned in confusion. “Ya choke on yer food?”
“No! Just...so many cute foals!!!” She squealed, placing her hooves on her cheeks.
Applejack gave her a cheeky eye roll. “‘Couse that’s what yer all riled up bout’.”
Faust soon had to tell her first born the good news. “Come over here, my little pony,” she asked with outstretched arms.
Celestia quickly leaped into her arms, giggling. “Why are you so happy, yet crying, mama?
“Oh my gods…” Twilight had somewhat recovered from the shoutdown she had been given and giggled. “Just so cute!”
Pinkie made “hnnghhhh” noises.
Luna was still dangling in Celestia’s bear hug, legs in the air. “Like looking in a mirror..” she sighed. “I miss her…”
Celestia joined her. “Me too…”
Rainbow popped open a soda can, making it cut into the musing.
Luna flashed a look at Rainbow. ‘We are having a moment.”
Rainbow huffed. “Well, I’m having a cola!”
Robot let out a choking wheeze.
Pinkie giggled, while Rarity rolled her eyes with a slight smile.
Faust smiled more. “You are having a little sibling!”
The foal gasped, then smiled widely. “Really!?” Tempest went over to nuzzle her. “Yes, really.”
Faust giggled. “Now you can stop bothering the poor cooks who work hard here!”
Celestia froze for a second, and giggled again. “Ok, I will!”
“Princess, you have no rights being that gosh darn cute..!” Applejack swore with fake anger.
Celestia shrugged. “I guess I couldn’t help it…”
Luna smiled. “It’s not like she doesn’t still act like that sometimes… 1 moon ago she stepped out of the shower and I didn’t recognize her for some moments. I called her a “overgrown albino rat” with the royal canterlot voice before I finally saw her cutie mark, and dear sister was already sobbing and-”
Rainbow cut off Luna with yet another bout of laughter.
Celestia blushed. Heavily. She quietly started grumbling. “Sister…”
Twilight giggled. “Oh no…!”
Applejack gasped. “Gosh, Luna, she must have really looked freaky for YOU to be a bit scared!”
Narrator: The castle prepared for the birth of yet another heir, this time Faust collapsed in front of the castle at night, whimpering and praying someone heard her.
Celestia rushed towards her in tears. “M-mama? Are you ok?” Faust lifted up her head, pain filled. “Get… healer… Foal coming early…” her eyes rolled and she fainted.
“Gosh darn it, Luna!” Applejack said, this time with more annoyance. ‘Ya couldn’t have just waited a bit more?”
Luna looked down. “We don’t decide when We are born, We only came out when We saw fit. At night.”
Robot hissed. “Not again with the Royal We….!”
“I think she can talk the way she wants!” Pinkie said.
Luna rolled her eyes. “Mortals.”
Celestia whimpered upon seeing this, but knew that a healer would definitely help. She ran as fast as she could, hoping nothing bad would happen. A guard jerked her away. “What are you doing out at this time, Princess?” he asked with concern.
“Wait wait, guards showed EMOTION?!’ Rainbow almost fell over in shock, her wings flaring and smacking AJ in the face, who growled as she pushed away the appentage.
“Who would've guessed?” Rarity sarcastically replied.
“Get wasted!” Robot giggled.
Rainbow wilted and lowered her ears. “S-sorry if I’m not up to date with my history…!”
“Oh boy..” Twilight face hooved yet again.
Luna was now losing even more faith in her subjects.
Celestia just giggled a little. “They can be quite comical.”
Celestia sniffed, and spoke in panic; “Mama told me to get a healer because my little sibling is coming soon, and then she fainted!” Those words sent the guard into a panic, and the healers and king were soon informed.
Narrator: Tempest rushed towards his wife, his heart felt like it turned cold when he saw her laid there. Time also felt like it froze as the healers gathered towards her, and his daughter hid behind his front leg, nuzzling it in worry. Faust let out heartbreaking screams, her pain ringing into the night.
“Oh no…” Twilight flinched away from Faust’s cries. “She sounds like she’s getting mauled.”
Luna wilted like a leaf. She didn’t like knowing that her birth caused her long dead mother's pain. “Oh Faust… If only I could speak to you again…”
Celestia held her sister’s hoof.
Luna gave her sister a sad smile in thanks.
Long hours of hurt passed, and the foal finally arrived after so much. The foal’s coat was a deep blue, and her mane and tail were a pastel version of her fur. She was so small, but still cute. Faust gasped. “It’s also.. A mare…”
“Luna… You are SO CUTE!” Twilight screeched, then blushed. “I mean… just look, your little eyes are all crunched up…!” she cooed.
Celestia had to squeal alongside her. “I always thought you looked so adorable back then!”
Luna blushed so hard it felt like her face was on fire. “N-Not that much….!”
Applejack was fangirling even more. “Ah, if only ya could have played with li’ Flurry Heart…!”
“Now that’s a time warp!” Pinkie commented.
Robot made a mental note to make more time warps.
“A little sister…” Celestia thought, not wanting to say anything until she knew her mother was completely ok. “Why so quiet, my little pony?” Faust grunted, gathering the foal into her embrace. “I just hope you’re ok…” Celestia quietly said, gently nudging against her mother.
“Awwwww!” The entire room said at once. “That’s adorable!”
Luna smiled despite the massive blush still tearing at her face. “Always the doting one… making sure everypony’s ok…”
“I only look out for the better of others.” Celestia said.
Applejack nodded. “As you should!”
“Oh, my dear Celestia, I am fine, just tired. Now come say hi to your little sister.” The queen stared up at the bright moon.
“Why is she looking at the moon all creepy?” Rainbow whined.
Before Luna could go into another ranting rage, Twilight quickly shut up the rainbow haired mare with a glare of ice.
“Shhh!!!” Pinkie said to Rainbow.
“Don’t ta DARE.” Applejack snarled.
Rainbow wilted and quickly nodded.
“Mhm…” Celestia mumbled, moving towards her sister. She looked ways different than her, yet she could feel a strong bond between them already. Even if the other didn’t know it yet. The foal whimpered and jerked, touching Celestia’s face with a tiny hoove. Faust laughed. “Looks like she wants to know you already.”
“Oh my gosh…” Twilight clutched her heart. “It’s too cute… my heart… is failing…”
Applejack wheezed, also killed by the cuteness.
Fluttershy squeaked. “They’re so adorable!!!”
Rainbow squeaked. “Yeah, cute!”
Luna only blushed even more. “E-enough with the praise…!”
Celestia blushed as well, not even sure what to say.
“You two don’t have to be so embarrassed! We were all born adorable.” Rarity said.
“But still…” Luna was aware she was still being held in the air. “Sister, put me down please.”
“Oh, right, sorry.” Celestia let her down.
Luna stretched her legs and sighed as pops rang out. “Much better.”
Celestia cleared her throat. “Anyways…”
Celestia smiled at her gently. “Hi, little sister. It’s nice to meet you.” The naming reception went down even worse than Celestia’s because of the foal’s hidden moon powers. She somehow caused a thick blue fog to hover over the queen and king’s heads, plus the screaming sounded kinda demonic, so it sent chills down everypony’s spines.
“Uhm… Why the buck is Luna making fog…?” Rainbow tilted her head at Celestia.
“Secret power she uses on occasion.” Celestia answered.
“It has it uses sometimes,” said princess shrugged.
“And the crazy screaming…?” Rainbow continued on.
“Also apart of it.” Celestia continued.
“Knew it.”
Celestia hid in the back, shaking. How did her sister cause this? The queen had a horrifying suspicion why, but pushed it to the back of her head for now as she named the foal Luna after the night she was born. Luna screamed once again.
Celestia covered her ears, whimpering a little.
“We are sorry for scaring you, older sister!” Luna recoiled. “We didn’t know of this!”
“It’s alright! It’s been decades since then, anyways.” Celestia hugged Luna with her wing again.
“Uh, Princess?” Applejack butted in. “Not just decades. It has been over 2,000 years.”
Luna reeled from shock.
Celestia rubbed her head. “Right. It’s been so long I’ve lost track of time…”
“Am I immortal now?” Twilight raised her wings in confusion. “I mean, I am an alicorn now..”
“No, you just have an expanded lifespan, since you weren’t made into one by Gods...which is another story.” Celestia explained.
Twilight sighed. “Ok good. Immortality isn’t my cup of tea.. I’d miss my friends too much!”

MLP Characters Watch: The Story Of Celestia and Luna
I don't think this is PG anymore...
Faust called over her elder daughter. “Come here, my little pony, your sister is just upset. This fog is harmless.” Celestia sighed out of relief, and slowly walked towards them. She curiously looked at her sister. “Why’d she do that?” Narrator: Faust shot a panicked look at her husband. She knew he was thinking of a similar thing she was, but there was no way of confirming them. Besides, the gods haven't talked to them in ages.
“So you can only get immortality from the Gods?” Rainbow frowned. “Why?”
Twilight opened her mouth, then closed it in thought. “Good question…”
Luna also frowned.
Celestia looked down.
Tempest worriedly looked at her, not knowing exactly how to explain it. He quickly cooked up a reason in panic. “She’s probably a jokester like you, Celestia, and just wants to show it.” He explained, forcefully smiling.
The queen nodded. “There is nothing to fear, my little pony. Everything’s alright.”
Celestia sighed from relief, and finally smiled back.
“They LIED?!” Applejack roared. “HOW ‘COULD THEY?!”
“They didn’t want us to know at such a young age.” Celestia sighed. “It probably would’ve been the best to warn us, though.”
“Still!” Applejack fumed, showing everypony that she really was the element of honesty.
Pinkie held Applejack’s hoof as a means of calming her.
“I wonder why they looked so freaked out,” Rainbow mused. “I mean, they know that their daughters will be powerful, but why be scared of that? I would be so stoked to know that!”
Luna was remembering the months in exile, and she started shivering. She never really forgave the gods for sentencing her to death, even if it wasn’t permanent.
Celestia went tense when she recalled those days, gulping. Honestly, she had hoped to repress those awful memories.
Narrator: Well, everything was not ok. Some time after the naming, the queen and king were confronted by the gods.
“I bet they got a scolding!” Rainbow sniggered. I bet it was all cliche like’ ‘You need to show them their destinies!’” The pegasus laughed at her jab, while not noticed the knowing flinches of Robot, Luna and Celestia.
Rarity took notice of this, and looked at Rainbow. “I’m not sure if it’ll end up being pleasant like that.”
Rainbow frowned. “What makes you say that, Rares?”
“You need to show those two their destinies!” The god of life roared. Faust was sobbing on the floor.
The prismatic mare’s face turned visibly white at those words. “Oh…”
Applejack’s anger melted away. “That poor mare and stallion just wanted to protect der young ones...:”
Twilight gave the royal sisters a sad pat on their backs.
“I th-thought so…” Rarity solemnly said, hugging Fluttershy (who had already started to tightly hug her)
Pinkie’s mane flattened a little.
Tempest stomped his hoof, and growled at them. “They are too young for this! Celestia only knows so much about the world, and Luna can barely talk. They need more time, and you will not take them away from us.”
“Very well,” The god of Earth rumbled. “You have given us no choice. Until those two have found their destinies, they are hereby banished to the other side of Equestria. You will not be able to find them sooner, no matter how hard you try.”
“...they didn’t…. Please tell me they didn’t just….”
“...Ya kiddin’, right…? They didn’t do that to young filles…”
“...what the buck….”
“ . . . . . I wish I could just suddenly drop dead..”
It would be an understatement to say the mood suddenly hit an all time low.
Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy just went quiet, staring at the screen.
Celestia started to cry alongside her, rendering herself speechless.
Robot didn’t need to pause again since the two alicorns made sure to muffle the bawls.
Faust screamed even louder, and the gods nodded. “It has been done. Pray that those two are brave enough to face their demons.”
MLP Characters Watch: The Story Of Celestia and Luna
Narrator: The two sisters would wake in the middle of a horrible forest. Luna noticed right away and started wailing in distress.
Luna hung her head. “I was barely talking at that time. One could say that I was a sitting duck.” She straightened up and tightened her face. “Thankfully, I am much more powerful and I now can take care of myself.”
Applejack tilted her hat down. “Yer lucky ya have such a brave sister, yer highness.”
Celestia deeply sighed. “I think our bravery was really needed during those times.”
Twilight sniffled. “You really are the bravest ponies ever!”
Celestia starred in worry, but quickly got into comforting Luna. “It’s okay, it’s okay…” She looked around, mind in frenzy, “...we just have to find out why we’re here.”
Luna whimpered. “B-but I want mommy and daddy…!” her little tail whipped in distress.
Celestia pushed a few strands of her mane away. “I’m sure we can find them.”
“Uh, why does she sound so much older?” Rainbow nervously laughed. “She’s barely Scootaloo’s age in that moment!”
“Alicorns age a bit..differently than usual.” Celestia explained.
Luna nodded. “That was another hint that our parents got that we were destined to control Equestria. Our sudden tendencies to act much older then we really were stopped after we turned 700 years old, but it was nice while it lasted.”
Twilight made more mental notes to get her hooves on old texts.
“Not for a while, or maybe even ever.”
Narrator: The god of Earth made his appearance. Luna screamed and hid in her older sister’s legs.
“Rude.” Twilight sniffed. “He couldn’t be a bit nicer?”
“They’re quite the vague ones..” Rarity remarked.
Celestia whined, making sure she was closer to her younger sister still. “W-who are you!?”
“I am the god of Earth. If you wish to return home you must find your destiny.” The god had twisted horns and was made of dirt and leaves.
“W-what do you mean by our destiny?” Celestia asked, her tail thumping a little for emphasis.
“You make your own destiny. Not us.”
“What’s THAT mean?” Rainbow scrowled.
AJ shook her head. “It means that only ya can choose what choices ya make, not other ponies!” she huffed in annoyance.
“Or it can mean that you sent helpless filles into a world that seemingly wants to make sure they suffer…” Luna said darkly.
Twilight whimpered. Poor Celestia and Luna. They were still so young, and yet the gods tore them away from the ponies they needed guidance from!
Celestia grimaced as she watched the scene play out. Another memory she wished to never relive…
“Are you ok, Tia?” Luna tilted her head at her sibling.
“It feels...awful to see this again, I’ll admit.” Celestia responded, painfully looking at her sister.
Luna gave the elder alicorn just as painfilled expression.
The god vanished. Luna was sent into a sobbing crying mess, wailing for her parents.
Rainbow turned her head away, not wanting to see the screen in fear of tearing up. “I feel bad….”
“As ya should!” Applejack hung her head. “Can’t believe the gods would just throw young filles into a forest! There could be Timberwolves!”
Luna visibly blanched at ‘Timberwolves’ and suddenly looked like she was eating a lemon.
“Wolves…” she whispered, trembling violently.
Celestia immediately came to her sister’s comfort, holding her and using her wings to shield her eyes. Luna was thankful for her sister’s actions, but she was afraid that any attempts of talking would turn into a blubber.
Celestia was confused, scared, but not alone. She turned her attention to Luna. “Don’t worry, I’m gonna change all of this. Somehow.”
“You p-promise..?” Luna sniffed. She was still so little and weak, there was no way she could fend for herself at all.
Celestia nodded. “I promise.”
“We should all aspire to be like you, Princess Celestia!” Twilight sniffed. “I feel like a foal whenever I see how much you bear for the sake of other ponies…”
“You do your best, Twilight. You all do.” Celestia complimented. Rarity and Fluttershy couldn’t help but blush at that.
Rainbow smugly took in the praise before pointing at Pinkie. “I think Pinkie is somepony we could never be like! I mean, she once crawled into my cupboard and somehow ended up in Twilight’s house!”
Twilight’s blush disappeared as she scowled at her crush. “Really, Rainbow? Why did you feel like saying that?”
“And how is that related… to the topic at hoove?” Luna croaked at the Element of Loyalty, still somewhat hidden by Celestia’s giant wings.
Rainbow let out a bunch of letters before huffing and drooping her ears. “W-whatever, let’s just watch this dumb show.”
Pinkie giggled knowingly, then turned her attention back to the screen.
Luna whimpered before ducking from her sister’s legs. “W-where are we?”
Celestia looked around. “Uhh...I don’t know. Just looks like we’re in a random forest.”
Narrator: The two sisters looked around, stumbling across a city next to the woods. It was filled with ponies who didn’t give a rats ass about anyone, nevertheless homeless ponies. Celestia and Luna soon got beaten and starved on a daily basis, fighting with the other homeless ponies and fellow filles for water and trash. Soon it had been months.
The entire theater gasped, and Robot paused for she figured a conversation was about to happen.
“You were… homeless beggars?!” Rainbow Dash’s face was conflicted and torn. It was so hard to see Equestia’s tall, proud royal sisters begging for food on the street. “That’s a bunch of haystack…!”
Twilight stared, her jaw hanging at the sight of the scrawny, dirty filles that would become powerful rulers. “Oh my gods…”
Applejack lightly slapped Rainbow. “What did ya expect?! They had no choice!” tears burned in the farmer's eyes and it took a lot of effort to not make them spill over.
“How did you two even live like this!?” Pinkie asked, tearing up. Celestia cringed a little as she watched the scenes.
“I… I don’t…” Luna pawed at her face, trying to calm down the hurricane in her head. “It was too long ago… it was mostly big sister getting the scraps or dirty water.” The Moon Princess let out a sad sniffle. “Those days were almost as bleak as my banishment.”
“I tried my hardest to keep us two together and alright. But it couldn’t stay like this forever.” Celestia hugged her sister, tighter this time.
Robot unpaused the show, annoyed that the conversation wasn’t longer then he predicted.
Narrator: Celestia was trying to rest on her scuffled bed, made with materials laying around her, but the stress was too major. With trying to protect Luna and surviving on the streets, things just didn’t seem to be looking bright anymore. She longed for her parents and the kingdom again.
Luna whimpered and nudged her sister. Her fur was clinging onto her frame, and she looked more frail by the day. “M-maybe we should go back to the woods…”
“What?!” Twilight screeched. “Why would you do that?!”
Luna let out a low growl. “You would be wise to shut your mouth,” she began,”...Before I snap.”
Twilight whined and sank into her seat. “I... understand.”
Celestia held her sister’s hoof to calm her once more. “We didn’t really have any other better options at the time.” She explained.
“It was that or starve on the streets, and I don’t know about ya guys, but the woods would be a better option!” Rainbow waved her foreleg in dismissal.
Applejack looked down. Sure, her family farm could be much better if it wasn’t on the edge of ponyville, but she had learned to appreciate the fact that she had a roof to block out the bad weather and a bed at night. Luna and Celestia were taken from a royal family, and to go from having everything to nothing must have been awful.
Celestia weakly replied. “Perhaps, this place isn’t doing us any favors…”
Rainbow blinked. “No bit, sherlock.”
Luna let out a loud growl.
“Uh, Rainbow, maybe it’s for the best to not comment on this like that…” Rarity said.
The mare fearfully nodded, the hint given and accepted.
Luna wailed. “No! It’s smelly and everypony here is mean and I am so hungry!” her frame shook violently.
Celestia held her closely. “Exactly.”
“Damn… she even says the same tings she does nowadays…” Applejack let out a low whistle in awe. “Always the caring one…”
Rarity couldn’t help but think about her own past actions as a sister. “If only I were the same a few years ago..” She lamented.
A blue leg rested on Rarity’s shoulder. “Come on, Rares, stop beating yourself up about it! You give Sweetie Belle plenty of attention nowadays, so don’t sweat!”
Rarity gently smiled back. “I suppose you’re right.”
Luna blinked, her tiny horn had a crack in it from when some crackhead(no pun intended) had smacked her after the fily attempted to steal his rubble. “So we can leave?” she said hopefully.
Celestia stood up, getting herself together after almost tripping on her makeshift bed. “Yes, let’s go.”
“Thank the gods,” Twilight sighed in relief. “You two would not have lasted one more week! I could see your ribs…”
“I can't even think about a world without the princesses!” Pinkie exclaimed.
Luna’s face twisted into a painful smile. “We thank you for the kind words, but that world did exist more than 2,500 years ago, and Equestia fared just fine.”
“You’ve managed to save it from harm numerous times. Who knows what could’ve happened if you two weren’t around…” Fluttershy shivered.
“Dude, you two are epic!” Rainbow went slack jawed. “Without you two, our butts would have been handed to us long ago!”
Twilight tilted up her chin. “You two make Equestria such an amazing place to live in. A world without you is a world I refuse to live in!”
“Ah agree with the others! You two do a mighty fine job keepin’ this place from falling apart!” Applejack smiled. “Wouldn’t have it any other way!”
Celestia smiled. “Thank you all.”
Luna bowed her head. “Thank you truly.”

MLP Characters Watch: The Story Of Celestia and Luna
Crunch Goes The Moon Unicorn-Wait, what?
Narrator: The two sisters left for the forest, almost right away finding a puddle of water. It was kinda dirty, but it was better than what was on the streets, for sure. Luna happily started lapping at the puddle, whining in joy.
“It’s tasty!”
Narrator: Celestia smiled for the first time in awhile, and joined in. Luna was surprisingly right, it was good!
“Ewwww….” Twilight cringed away. “That’s really gross, but I can’t blame you for thinking it was tasty. Street water is repulsive.”
Rainbow gagged. “I think I’m going to hurl.” She pelted away to the trash can to empty her stomach of its contents.
“I think I did that once when I was young…” Fluttershy recalled.
Applejack felt bile rise into her throat. “Well, uh… that was… uh, a thing..” she took off her hat to wipe her sweaty forehead.
Luna retched and almost had to slam her hoof into her mouth. “Were we really that desperate?!” she swore under her breath. “That water looks like Discord tainted it!”
Pinkie Pie looked at them with a “seriously?” expression on her face, and Celestia awkwardly shrugged.
Narrator: After the filles had all the water they wanted, their spirits lifted. But it was soon gone by a howl. “What was that?” Luna tensed in fear.
Celestia’s ear flicked and she came to her sister’s side. “Sounds like a wolf…”
Luna let out a wail. “I don’t wanna see wolf!”
Celestia immediately hugged her sister, looking into the direction the howl came from. “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you.”
“PLEASE tell me you didn’t actually try and fight a Timberwolf!” Twilight begged a shell shocked Luna. “PLEASE!”
Celestia took a deep breath.
Narrator: The howl turned into snarling, and out came the most horrible timberwolf the two filles had ever seen. It towered at 9’7 and it’s fangs were so huge they could crack open a ponies head. Luna let out a horrible wail and pressed to the floor.
“HOLY BUCK THAT IS A BIG TIMBERWOLF!” Rainbow fell from her beanbag in shock.
Luna only blinked.
Fluttershy hid behind Rarity, while Celestia stared in horror. She knew what was coming soon.
Twilight let out a low whine. “No…”
Celestia lowered her head among the sight, holding her sister tightly. Her mind was racing. What should she do? There was no way a small foal like her could defeat such a large creature!
“Please tell me ya ran!” Applejack’s eyes were tiny dots in a sea of white. “That thing makes Discord seem tiny!”
Luna blinked again.
Rainbow gulped, her ego not making her speak this time in fear for the two filles on screen.
Celestia looked away as tears sprung in her eyes.
The timberwolf didn’t wait any longer and lunged, shoving Celestia out of the way and grabbing poor Luna in its jaws. It crunched down.
The clearing could only stare in utter horror as they saw blood fly across the screen.
Twilight let out a scream and started tearing her pillow apart in a fit.
Rainbow ran to throw up for a second time, while Applejack could only hitch her breath and slowly hide her eyes with a hoof.
Pinkie was stunned. Rarity and Fluttershy looked away and held each other closely.
A gag shuddered in Luna’s throat and her tongue hung out, heaves convulsing in her chest.
Celestia quickly hid the footage from Luna with her wing.
After getting pushed onto the ground, Celestia pushed her mane away, only to see Luna getting crushed. Tears rushed to her eyes and her body trembled. “No!” She screamed.
“...Why?” Applejack whispered.
Pinkie started crying again, burying her face into her hooves.
Luna finally couldn’t hold it in anymore and bolted to the nearest trash can to puke, tears pumping down her face.
Celestia, at this point, could no longer look at the screen.
Twilight stopped tearing her pillow to throw herself into her former mentor’s chest fur. “No… no….” she sobbed, a panic attack about to take over her.
Quickly, Celestia held Twilight, taking slow breaths in hopes of calming her down.
Purple hooves pressed at white fur like a filly. “Princes… I’m sorry, I...I….” Drool, snot and tears stained Celestia’s chest as the young alicorn cried for Luna’s first, yet tragic death.
Rainbow and Luna laid on the floor next to the trash cans, tears pumping down their faces and bellies aching.
“Man…” Rainbow croaked. “There goes my lunch….”
Luna groaned. “I feel like death has come to take me once more…” she raised her head, only to flop down some moments later.
Pinkie worriedly looked at them.
“I am fine,” Luna lied, wobbling as she got on all fours. “Just great.” Rainbow made eye contact with Pinkie and mouthed, “No she’s not.”
Applejack helped Rainbow get back to her seat, then she slowly pulled the sobbing Twilight away from Celestia and gave her a clean pillow and a soda.
Rarity and Fluttershy got out of their crying trance, and helped each other wipe away tears.
Luna sat on her haunches, watching everypony with a blank expression. “Is everypony ok?” she asked softly.
“I-I think so.” Fluttershy sniffled.
“Rarity?” Luna asked next.
“Mhm.” Rarity answered.
After Luna had confirmed everypony had mostly calmed down for the moment, she slowly clopped back to her seat, looking at the floor.
Celestia looked at her sister, and wrapped her in a hug.
Luna let out a low whine and snuggled into the hug.

MLP Characters Watch: The Story Of Celestia and Luna
Great, she isn't dead! But the Gods still suck
Narrator: Celestia blankly stared at the dead body, her pupils shaking. The one pony she had left in her life, was now gone. Taken from her so early. Silently, she got up, and stared at the large timberwolf, then proceeded to charge right after it.
Narrator: The wolf pounced on Celestia. To the outside observer, it would seem like the huge wood beast would take another victim. Yet, despite the mauling it was giving the filly, it was getting… damaged?
Twilight hiccuped before wiping snot off her snout. “Y-you were glowing…!”
Rainbow’s jaw dropped. “W-wow… She’s winning..!””
Pinkie loudly gasped. “So that’s how you became so powerful!”
“The blessin’ of the gods…!” AJ let out a low whistle of awe. “I thought that was a bunch of bunk, but I guess I was wrong!”
“They finally helped after all this time…” Rarity noted.
Luna stared in shock. “What…?” she whimpered. “They helped you…?” Her mind swirled, and she felt ready to faint. “Those curs…. Helped…?!”
“I suppose they had a change of heart.” Celestia theorized.
Narrator: Celestia could feel the pain being given towards her, yet somehow, she didn’t feel like she was dying. She felt like she was slightly more powerful by the bit. Loudly, she screamed at the timberwolf, determined to take it down.
“Yee haw! You go, Princess!” Applejack cheered.
“Kick his ass!” Rainbow whooped.
“Aim for the chest!” Twilight encouraged. “That’s the weak spot!”
“BLIND IT WITH PIES!!!” Pinkie beamed.
“Wait, what?” Applejack frowned at Pinkie in confusion. “How in tarnation is that gonna help?!”
“Uhh, so it cant see?” Pinkie answered, shrugging.
“Come on, Rares!” Rainbow nudged the fashion queen. “Cheer them on!”
“Cut through where it hurts!” Rarity cheered.
Rainbow snorted loudly.
Twilight smiled at Fluttershy. “Do you want to help cheer on Luna and Celestia?”
“Uhh….keep doing good?” Fluttershy attempted, not really knowing what to say.
Narrator: The beast screamed as the filly impaled it with her horn right on it’s weak spot. It collapsed into a stack of wood. It was defeated.
“You did it!” Twilight cheered and hugged her mentor.
“Hooray!!” Pinkie cheered while clapping.
Narrator: Celestia took deep breaths and stared at the wood, holding her damaged left hoof. Simply shocked by how she managed to do that. Her attention focused on more important things now, however, and she ran over to Luna.
The little body had been punctured by teeth, exposing bone and all the other details. Blood had soaked the fur to the point where you couldn't even tell the original color. But still, the faintest of breaths crossed the chest, making it quiver.
“Oh no…” Twilight moaned as the mood dropped right again. “That’s horrible…!”
As the memory laid in front of her eyes, Celestia looked away again, turning her attention to her younger sister.
Luna only sighed. “If you are wondering, I was so deeply wounded I didn’t even feel pain. It was a rather disconnecting feeling.” She dragged a hoof across the floor.
Rainbow gagged, but nothing came out. “Ulp….”
“That’s so terrible!” Fluttershy exclaimed, hiding her face with her wings.
Applejack paled. “That’s mighty awful…” she breathed out.
Rarity froze, only being able to mutter “How awful…”
Pinkie began to cry again.
“Don’t cry, Pinkie…” Twilight frowned and hugged her friend. “It’s upsetting to see you upset…”
“I’m sorry!!! This is just so sad!!!” Pinkie managed to sob out.
“Welcome to my life.” Luna muttered sourly.
Rainbow made a face. “Ugh, feels.”
