Morningstar belongs alone in a library. She’s not an adventurer, let alone a fighter. But after accepting to aid a private detective in some potentially hazardous work, she’ll have to learn to defend herself. For the sake of the law.

After she purchased a sword with an intentionally dull blade, one might think Morningstar’s efforts to uphold her staunch pacifism are nothing but foolish. But if one thing is true about this unicorn, it’s that she always has a trick up her sleeve. Hers is no ordinary blade.

This originally started as a joke, but I ended up really enjoying writing it and seeing how well I could turn a funny concept into something heartfelt and/or hot.
