Wheat Grain, as a young stallion, is taken to a lake by his grandfather. They contemplate life, and his grandfather gives him information he doesn’t understand at first.
Wheat Grain and his grandfather always had a good relationship. Biannually, his grandfather would take him to a lake, and they’d sit around and discuss life, while admiring the scenery.
In one discussion, Wheat Grain asks his grandfather why he’s so happy, and his grandfather gives him information he doesn’t understand.
