Now, this story starts the same way that most stories start. An exciting opportunity, a let down, and then somehow the hope comes back, and comes true. But while most stories as these have happy endings, that is what sets this one apart. Remember the classic story of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”? How about the classic fanfic “Something Sweet to Bite”? Well if you love the first one, I'd be careful, after you read/listen to this fanfic, you will never be able to watch/read it the same way ever again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Now I’m just going to assume that you've heard both stories already, so I’m just gonna skip to the fun part. If I’m wrong, you don’t actually need to have heard “Something Sweet to Bite”, but you will want to know the story of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, if you’ve never heard that one, first of all, WHERE IS YOUR CHILDHOOD?! But you can just go watch/read that now, it doesn't really matter which version, but this one is based on the 2005 movie. Now that all that junk is out of the way, on with the story!
Protologue/Chapter 1
Stepping into the marvelous factory that she had seen on the outside millions of times before, Rarity was in awe. She turned to her mother and verbalized her ecstasy. “Oh mother, look at how amazing this factory truly is! Mr. Collette has a great taste in interior design, especially for a stallion with such a bland coat, and clashy mane.” She said that last part quietly enough that nopony else heard.
She looked around, surveying her competition. A sky blue pegasus with rainbow hair, a yellow pegasus with pink hair, a lavender unicorn with deep purple hair, and an all pink pony, with a terrible frizzy mane.
“Phh, you call this a competition, and can win this thing in ten seconds flat, and 20% percent cooler than any of these geeks, wanna see?” Rainbow Dash cried out.
“Now just how will you win something that you know nothing about?” Replied Mr. Collette flatly.
“Don’t listen to him Dashie, you go crush that competition!” Interjected Windy Whistles, Rainbow's mother.
“Come along now little ponies, there's much to see.” Said Mr. Collette flatly, once again.
