The Curious Dive of Chrysalis
In the depths of the mystical jungles of the East, Chrysalis sat alone in a large pool of water near where her new hive had been set up. She let out a sigh of relief as the cool, clear water almost glowed with a magical aura, her breasts and her knee poking out from the glistening surface. The changeling had found herself in total bliss and harmony, and knew that nothing would change that fact.
The mare sat up and looked around the jungle pool, the ruins of a lost civilization around her. Her long, flowing hair drooped around her and hovered on the surface of the pond. She found that the pond got deeper the further she went out, and decided to go for a swim, leaning forward and pulling herself outwards.
The changeling queen swam until she could no longer feel the bottom and started to tread water. Only the sounds of Chrysalis' paddling filled the warm, muggy air around her. The cool lake water lapped at her busty chest, her hands paddling slowly in the water.
She took a breath and ducked under the water's surface, looking around at the rocky pool bottom and the aquatic flora around her, untouched for what must have been centuries. She enjoyed swimming underwater like this, her long mane flowing around her head, her nipples erect in the coolness of the water. Chrysalis let go of some bubbles, blinking as the water became a little clearer to her. Smiling, she rolled forwards and pushed off with her feet, kicking her legs as she ascended.
As she was about to surface, she noticed a tunnel formed in the wall, and a strange, glowing light quite far into it. She peered inside slightly and wondered what was inside, more air escaping her now open mouth. Chrysalis did want to see what was inside, but her lungs prompted her to surface, the changeling kicking up and breaching with a loud gasp.
Chrysalis looked down as curiosity washed over her, while she was interested in what was down there, she did also worry about breathing. She didn't know any water breathing spells, but she was curious as anything to find out what was inside.
With a nod of affirmation to herself and with a long, deep breath, the changeling queen plunged under the glistening surface. She put her hands to the tunnel entrance, looking inside before pulling herself into the tunnel, with only the air in her lungs to guide her.
Chrysalis pumped her arms and kicked her legs strongly, her nude figure cutting through the water with relative ease, her bare breasts slightly jiggling each time she stroked through the water. Her long mane flowing behind her like a blanket, the changeling feeling the water grow colder as her nipples stood erect, but she still soldiered onwards.
She occasionally felt the small string of air escape her pursed lips, the small, silver bubbles pooling on the ceiling of the tunnel. Chrysalis didn't really consider herself to be much of a diver, but she did exercise in her spare time and was thankful of her body being nicely toned and able to swim with ease.
Swimming onwards, the changeling did wonder how long this cave was, especially when it started to curve and lead even further in. A need to turn back started to fill her mind, but Chrysalis pressed onwards, pulling herself along with her arms and legs as she kicked like a dolphin. Her lungs were starting to protest, the need to breathe growing more and more, but she couldn't go and refill them in a hurry. She let go of a few bubbles to relieve the burning in her chest, but this would only help for so long.
Chrysalis swam deeper and deeper, a sense of dread that the changeling had been lured into a trap filling her mind, but still she pressed ahead, too late to turn back now. Her lungs were now starting to burn, now becoming a bit too difficult to ignore as more air escaped her nose. She blinked again, the water remaining very clear despite all this, watching more of her air pool on the ceiling. She wondered if she should attempt to suck it back in, but she shook her head and continued swimming.
Her breasts gave a bounce as her chest lightly convulsed, the changeling letting out a strained gurgle. Chrysalis was reaching her limits, she had to breathe or face drowning but she knew she had to reach the end, she couldn't turn back now. Her arms and legs pumped through the water, the changeling using the rocky surface of the tunnel to help propel her.
Chrysalis pulled along with her hands and pushed her feet, more air escaping her lips in growing plumes. Her eyes widened, cheeks puffed and her kicks became faster and more frantic. She didn't keep track of how long she was under, but she had to guess that it was longer than most ponies would put themselves through.
Sure enough, she finally found a light at the end of the tunnel, an ironic turn given her situation. The changeling queen smiled, a few more bubbles escaping her as she made an excited noise, but she quickly covered her mouth with a hand to prevent more air escaping.
Then, her first convulsion came, her body lurching forward as she nearly curled into a fetal position, the mare letting out a loud gurgle as a cloud of air escaped her mouth, a noise that penetrated the serenity of the dive with a harsh reminder of her mortality.
Chrysalis swam desperately for the end of the tunnel. She felt another convulsion come, but this time she prepared herself and managed to keep a large plume of air down. She still felt her air escape in strings past her mouth, her chest burning. Her entire body felt like it was on fire, but she was determined to get to the end. Chrysalis was nearly there, the light was so close to her as she reached out for it, and pulled herself out of the tunnel into a pool of water.
Then, another convulsion hit as her body shook, the mare feeling a plume escape as she let out a squeal, her lungs were pretty much empty by this point. She felt weak, but she needed to surface. She pushed off the floor with her feet, rocketing off the floor as she clawed for the surface, kicking her legs as another convulsion hit her like a sack of bricks.
Finally, she managed to surface as the changeling breathed hard and coughed, swimming to the side of the pool and leaning against it, the changeling feeling exhausted.
Chrysalis took a moment to recover from her arduous dive into the depths and looked up in amazement at the beautiful glowing flora and hieroglyphs on the walls of the circular chamber. Something in here must've held a huge secret that belonged to this lost civilization, but to Chrysalis as she pulled herself out of the water, it was her own little secret.
Her little conquest that she claimed as her reward for the dive of her life as she lay there, the water dripping and glistening off her busty, voluptuous figure. She would eventually have to swim back, but right now that didn't matter, the changeling was content and happy, and right now that's all that did matter.
