History is written by the victor, a phrase often used around those that present themselves as good, just, and free of fault. While this may be true in their eyes, what has been swept aside to make historians believe such?

The Crystal Empire. A people whose sense of self and dignity was wrongfully stripped from them by a power hungry, sadistic, evil pony, whom took to calling himself a king. This king would go on to enslave the Empire, bending them to his will through magic's none since have replicated. Until the Princesses from a neighboring kingdom tried to free them which led to the banishment of the Empire.

How much of this true though? The only ones who could answer this question are those that still live; the Princesses. The same Princesses that wrote the very history we now question. The very beings that would have all to gain by hiding the truth.

That truth is what this tale reveals.
