I'm putting entries of this thing I see, and what follows it, in here. I will also put this on the ponynet.
My name is Sonya... Sonya Diamond...You may have heard of my brother Remy. He owns a nice little casino in between ponyville and Phillydelphia.
Well I'm an Alicorn and he's a pegasus. I'm adopted.
I wouldn't be writing any of this stuff if it weren't for what happened last night.
ENTRY #1
I was writing a screenplay for a movie about the folly of ponies creating a monster that would hunt and kill evil ponies. I was out of inspiration, so I looked up urban legends... I found one that interested me. It was a tall stallion with no face that would stalk or hunt random ponies, supposedly feeding on their fear. It was said to take children. It didn't say what happened to them afterwards. I only imagined the worst.
It would make anypony who saw it, completely insane. It even caused suicides and murders.
I can't remember its name... if I do, it comes back. Upon further investigation, I saw that evidence of its existence held up pretty well. It had some kind of symbol like a circle with an X through it. I had assumed it was a reference to the lack of a face.
I was home alone, My roommate wasn't there, he was on vacation for the week. I turned off my computer and looked out my window to see if there was anything out there. I was scared out of my mind from reading and seeing what I had that night. The night sky was purple. Not a natural purple but the kind you see after a war scene in a movie.
I was hoping to just go to bed. But I heard a noise... At first I thought it was my roommate, but no... I walked out of my room. I looked down the stairs by my door. I saw something in a blur before I fell to the floor. Some intense pain... raged through me. My hooves shook as I coughed while on the floor. Looking at a tall skinny pony... no... a...
A THING! It had no face. It was the same thing I was researching! An ancient tome called it "Der Cribber" I have learned to call it the same so as to keep from remembering it's other name. I closed my eyes, hoping that the faceless creature wouldn't see me if I just didn't look! THE GUT WRENCHING FEELING ROSE RIGHT THROUGH MY HEAD! I did my best to get up as I was in my sorry coughing state.
It watched me as my ears rung and I fell out of consciousness. I woke up today. It was 6:00 AM. My roommate saw me on the floor and nudged at me.
I awoke to find Dante' (My roommate) nudging me to wake me up. "Sonya! Get up!" He said as I woke up slowly. "Dante'?" I snapped when I remembered the events of last night! " DANTE' GET OUT OF HERE! IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!" I screamed it at the top of my lungs until... I realized it was gone. My house looked like it normally did. White walls because I never bothered to paint them, Paintings of my coltfriend strewn about my own room. and I cringe whenever I enter Dante's. as his room is filled with paintings of my brother in some... unlikely positions. The stairs are topped with wooden planks and there are very few carpeted rooms.
"I mean... um... nevermind." I said.
I afterwards went to my room, and began writing this. I hope somepony can help me somehow. I don't know what it was. or if it was a dream. I just know that I'm scared! Out of my mind SCARED! I felt a sudden urge to jump off a cliff when I saw it and I need help! I'm going to continue writing as long as I can! If I record it all in writing, I'll be fine right? Right? I'm falling ill. I continue to cough. I don't like any of this. I'm going to continue writing as long as these things keep happening.
Entry two.
It's been a week since my first entry. Up until three days ago, nothing strange happened. But I found the following thing writtien in my screenplay:
You've seen it I know. Your fate is ~~SEALED~~ ! Your magic wont help you. He found your Apeal ! So run and hide, it's all in vain. No matter what you try it finds a WAY
There was a symbol in the page as well...
There was also something in my hoofwriting, that I don't remember writing.
"Yesterday... Yesterday IT CAME BACK! I've been getting more easily agrivated lately... Dante' is suspicious of my mental heath... So I'm consulting the common prey of this thing. A small group of children... I didn't want it to come to this but it has. My brother has an adopted daughter named Scootaloo. She and two of her friends are my next test subjects... I love my brother but this thing needs to be stopped no matter what the cost... I find that Remy's young daughter is just the age demographic for the common prey. I will do my best to keep Scootaloo and the crusaders safe though. I know how much they mean to Remy..."
The next one appears to be from last night.
" I took the cursaders camping, along with their friend Twist who wanted to come when she heard about the trip. Scootaloo was bringing a new scooter... I don't have anything to say about the trip other than... Twist is missing and I have no leads... Remy has revoked my right to take care of Scootaloo without him watching."
What did I do last night?
Is Remy that mad at me?
I just want to know what's going on, I can't remember anything.
Entry Three.
I just woke up... the date on my clock is wrong, it says October but it's September. I don't know where I am... There are things written in my screenplay that I don't remember writing. With dates that make as little sense as the one on my clock. The last thing I can remember is seeing it again...
It was there at night. I was walking upstairs from the kitchen, I turned the corner of my room... It stood even taller than the first time. I couldn't think. I Charged straight at it, yelling "GIVE BACK THE FILLY!" While shooting magic out of my horn.
It was not harmed... I fell to the floor, coughing and wheezing. I saw ITS suit up close now. It had something... some kind of EXTRA LIMBS coming out of its back.
All my memories are hazy right now... But I distinctly remember hearing Dante cough... Over and over... I have to get back home, I'm worried about his health. And what if that thing gets him? Oh Celestia... What if I've been doing things through all the time between when I fell to the floor next to that Slendermane and the date that it says on the clock here?
After a bit of investigation, I met a fellow named Claymond here. He's a pitch-black unicorn with a broken horn and a scar where his cutie mark should be. He says he's looking for somepony named "Missile Toes" who vanished a few months ago. He also has no idea where we are and from the looks of things... All I can say is that it's a hotel.
Clamond and I are the only ones here... I told him that I'm writing a book about hotels and that's why I carry my paper and pencil around everywhere... He's buying it... For now.
But I know he knows more than he says he does. And he knows a bit about me aswell. A unicorn with a broken horn usually has magic leaks that travel into another pony's mind... That means he can read my thoughts when I'm near him... I have to continue thinking odd hotel babble.
The entries in my screenplay that have mismatched dates will be submitted soon.
Entry 4 (Hotel Edit: Entry 5)
We found Dante'. He was on the side of the road after I stopped writing the last entry. THAT THING was carrying him and dropped him right in front of us.
Dante' woke up, and the first pony he saw, happened to be my brother, who was bandaging a head wound that thing must have given to Dante'.
Dante' immediately recognized Remy's face and hugged him. I just rolled my eyes. Remy was flustered, but not surprised. "Dante', you're okay." He said, trying to ignore all of the inappropriate actions that Dante was doing, almost instinctively.
Dante' giggled like a schoolfilly. "Why wouldn't I be, Remy?" He then saw a drip of his own blood fall from his head onto my brother's back. "W-what happened last night?" he said.
I stepped forward. "It had you, Dante'." Dante' was confused.
"Well... whatever happened... it brought me to Remy. and that's fine with me." He said. he was such a mare around Remy. Remywas obviously uncomfortable with his ex talking like this about him.
"I... I have to go to... Pick up Scootaloo from School." said Remy as he flew out the door. I giggled slightly at Remy's reaction to Dante's obsession.
Dante' sighed. "I miss him. But that can't be helped."
Why was Dante' with that tall stallion?
Hotel edit: IT came in my room last night. I went unconcious and almost died there was blood on my hooves when I woke up. My blood. Something or somepony had cut open my side.
Clay officially knows what I know. He was suspicious. He asked me. "Why do you REALLY have that paper with you all the time?" I tried to play it cool at first.
"I told you already. I'm writing about hotels." I said. He didn't buy it.
"Listen, Sonya. If that's what your real name is, in which case, you're as stupid as I am. I don't know where we are, I don't know how I got here. all I know is that I've been here since the day I met you. Tell me what you know, what is that thing I see outside all the time, and why is it stalking me? What is this place, and why the HELL, are you bleeding?"
I told him what I could remember. I told him about Remy, Dante', Der Cribber, all of it. and I got sick while telling the story. Now he's showing me some notes he's taken. I'll put those up soon, aswell as the other entries.
Entry 5 (Hotel edit: Entry 6)
I'm going to a hotel. should anypony know about Der Cribber. Meet me at this address: 513 NE right marriot avenue floor N3 room 35-ca-93. I won't put this on all of my sites. But it will be on Ponysquare. So watch for that.
Entry 6
I just received a package from an old college friend of mine. His name is White Cloud. I also got one with no return address. I'll show you the one from White cloud first. It was a letter. not sure why it would be in a box, but that didn't matter.
Sonya, listen, I know what's chasing you. Come to trotinghom park . We'll talk there. come alone, bring your notes. You'll want them. We're going to go for a walk.
I'm going out there tomorrow.
The next package though, was a tape. I popped it into the vcr of my hotel TV. It was White Cloud. He was on a couch. somepony else was holding the camera. The camerapony walked in and spoke. It was a mare. "Honey, look what I found in the basement! didn't you used to record some kind of webshow?" She said. White Cloud looked over and saw the camera.
The mare spoke again. "And here's one of your stories that you wrote. You know I do love your stories. They're well though and emotional. But you've never shown me this one." A piece of paper showed up in front of the camera. Cloud looked over again and his eyes widened. Lyh began reading it.
"Lyh! Don't read that!" He said. The camera got fuzzy and with a weird sound, the camera fell. it was looking behind where the mare was now. and IT was there. Der Cribber... I'm tired of saying that... I don't care if I remember the name anymore. It's called the Slendermane these days. It was there, and it looked pissed, despite it's lack of a face. the camera turned off at that point, and that was the end of the tape.
Clays note: The monster seems to follow me. White cloud has asked me to see him at a park. I wonder what he wants.
Hotel edit: The address here isn't the same as the one on the hotel Clay and I are currently in. did we move again? I don't know, but we're nowhere near trottingham anymore. There are still some notes and entries. And the dates are all correct... I have no memories of these events though...
Entry 7 (Hotel edit: looks like I caught them up to our real entries. Oops. That's confusing.)
I just met with White Cloud. He seems to be okay. I... Made the mistake of asking about his family. They disappeared after that tape was filmed. I din't tell him I had any tape, or anything like that. but he knew... He reads this. Which makes me worried for whoever else might read this. I don't know if I'm going to post these anymore. This may be the last one I post. (Hotel edit: Woops. Well, I'm just gonna disregard past-me for now.) I caught glimpses of the Slendermane while we were out there. But i remained calm. If I don't fear it, it can't get very close.
"You know, for somepony who's supposed to be hiding, you're doing a f*** up job." He said when we started walking into the woods. We had started at an open field, and now we were going through the woods. I was confused, but I kept walking, I had to know more. But I couldn't let him just talk crap about me like that.
"Yeah, well where were you? I could've used some help when I started writing! I know you've been reading them all. You're my Ponysquare friend, and you follow my brother on his story sites, where I've been posting!" I yelled. He just turned to me.
"I'm honestly not here to help you unless it helps me... I'm looking for Lyh." To this I just shot him a look that said 'at least you're helping now... but that's really selfish.'
He continued talking as we passed an odd tree. " Do you see that tree? about 700 years ago, ponies used to tie criminals hooves to the trees. on hoof to each branch. They believed it would pull them apart and kill them. Most of them died of thirst or hunger though. But there was one pony, he killed seven foals. he was a unicorn until they ripped off his horn... his face came with it. But he was into some dark magic. He vowed he wouldn't die, and he didn't. where his face once was, healed up to nothing. His mane fell out from old age. His body was stretched apart by the tree. The villagers at the time of his hanging, thought that is would be fitting for him to die in his nicest suit. But when he didn't die, they tried to cut him down, and kill him themselves... He killed them all... it was a massacre. And the only pony who could have known about it, died last year. 6 months after I went to him for information on my stalker. The Slendermane has dark powers beyond pony magic. and now he has my Lyh..."
I looked up at the tree, and down again. It was terrible. "You didn't take me here to tell me some fairy tale. What do you need from me?"
He sighed. "I just need your notes." As he was a pegasus, he motioned me to hand them to him with his wing. I gave him a set of copies I printed.
He took them and told me to meet him back at this park the same time the next day. That's tomorrow morning. Wish me luck.
Clay's note: whatever that thing is... I've found a friend. WhiteCloud. one of Remy's friends I think. He wants me to meet him and talk about it tomorrow at 3:00 pm. I have a bad feeling. I can't read his mind, he has some kind of lock in his brain.
Hotel edit: I wonder, is WhiteCloud the reason we're here? What happened at the park? I'm worried that what I'm going to read isn't going to end well. We don't know how to open the safes in our rooms, but Clay says that he must've written it somewhere. For some reason, my room is strewn with scribbles of Slendermane... I'm worried that I drew them, but I don't remember.
STOP! Do not continue posting your entries. You have no way to run if you keep exposing yourself to the world. For your own sake, you must stop this. You will be killed, and you will open the door to so many other ponies if you continue. Dawnshadows, Twilight, Vibrato, and more. so do not continue, Sonya. you'll regret it.-I'mnotaproxy
Entry 8 (Hotel edit:this is the last one in the stack of unposted entries.)
I... I went to the park. Somepony else was with me and WhiteCloud this time. He had my brother's mane color. but his coat was black, he had a scar where his cutie mark was supposed to be, and a broken horn. His name was... Is claymond. He also had notes. We all had being stalked by the Slendermane in common. WhiteCloud made Claymond give him any notes he had takes on the slendermane.
I could tell that Claymond had copies the same way I did. He had a look of distrust in his eyes.
Whitecloud had us walk into the woods again... He took us to a house of some sort. It was run down, and had only one wall. He took us up the stairs... And... And he pulled a gun on us! "Listen, I have all of your notes, I don't need you anymore. You're both just loose ends now."
Claymond was the next to speak. I was too scared to talk during this. "WHAT THE BUCK, CLOUD?" He tried to use some really wierd magic, but he couldn't.
WhiteCloud just laughed. "You think I wouldn't take your god-like powers into account? You're an idiot!" He laughed as he pointed straight at my face. "You're both really powerful, with one of you being a king and the other being an alicorn. But haven't you noticed that you can't use magic as well since you've seen it? it's sapping away your magic slowly." He laughed as a figure with a mask crept up behind him. Claymond and I remained silent.
The masked stallion tackled WhiteCloud, and the gun slid across the floor. Claymond took my hoof and we ran as the two stallions fought behind us.
When we got to our carriages, there was a box next to each one. I took the box from mine and hopped in his carriage. we fled the scene. we're going to a hotel for a while to lay low.
Who was that masked stallion?
Claymond's note: we're putting what was in the boxes, in our room safes. the codes are the first three digits of our phone numbers. 404. and 678.
Hotel edit: Well. that explains a lot. we're going to open the safes tomorrow.
Entry 10
Clay and I are going somewhere new... We're going to his hometown of Fillydelphia. I shouldn't be saying this online, but I don't think White Cloud made it out alive... Is it bad to say that I hope he didn't?
Anyway, Clay and I are taking different routes. going in different carriages because the slendermane can't chase us both. I hope that we can find some of the vanished ponies that we knew. Like... Twist...
But for now, I just hope that we're safe here until then. I'm worried about Remy, and Dante', and Scootaloo.
I wonder... if they're okay...
I wonder if Dante has done anything to Remy. Something tells me that Dante' has made drawings of them doing something really weird. the thought makes me shiver.
But it distracts me from the slendermane. I hope I can stay distracted. No matter where my mind takes me. I shiver again as I think of what's in Dante's room.
Entry 12.
I finally made it to Filly Delphia. It's been months, I know... I've been living peacefully until recently... It came back. Der Cribber followed me yesterday after meeting up with somepony I feared I would never see again. It was Dante'. He was in front of a mental hospital, holding some kind of folder. I approached him, he was... Disoriented... We exchanged words, he talked about how he and my brother were hanging out again, and he told me about his deluded sense that he could get my brother drunk enough to get him in the bed.
He set his folder down a bit for a minute, and I took the opportunity to look through it. I know I was being nosey, but I had gone pretty crazy. Constantly worrying that IT would come back to get me, but never seeing it. I read some key factors.
He had blackouts, depression, and hallucinations since he was young
He had a prescription for a drug I had never heard of before: dieprazadone.
He had medical records of hospitalization since the age of 3.
This made me suspicious of my former roommate. Maybe I was just being a terrible friend, but I really think something is wrong.
As I walked away, I noticed Der Cribber in my peripheral. The suited, faceless pony that had only recently stopped haunting me... it... it looked angry... I could hear a coughing behind me, and I just ran. I ran until I got to my new apartment.
So here I am... Curled up into a ball... Writing what I can... It's unfortunate... My best friend is sick in the head, and I think I am too... I need to get back on track... I have ponies to find... And I have to run from White Cloud, as well as Cribber.

Entry 9
Back to our normal entries, we've opened the safes and watched tapes that we found. As it turns out, White cloud has been being followed by the Slendermane for a long time. He was writing a story when he caught the attention of the beast. In one tape, he had all of his own notes strewn about his room. We were able to copy most of the writing down with a lot of pausing and zooming. The resolution on his camera must have been amazing. But there was nothing on the notes worth the effort... any information that he had, is already in my older entries.
Ont noteworthy thing though. is that with looks at the dates on each page, the later ones were nothing but scribbles of the slendermane. or simply a suit. but on dates between these and his coherent notes, there were notes with just babbling. things like. "NO NO NO NO NO!" Or "WHY DOES IT WANT ME? WHY DOES IT EXIST?"
It must have been feeding on his fear to a point where he lost all sanity. At least until he settled down to have a family. but when it came back... He must've snapped again. that's the only explanation that there is for him pulling a gun on Clay and I.
Who was the pony in the mask though? And why is I'mnotaproxy hacking my account to tell me to stop? Now that I think about it... That mask on his profile... It must be the masked pony! But who is he? Why did he save us? And lastly, what does he know?

Edit: Entry 3 (Edit again: entry 4 now. a mismatched entry from the hotel.)
What is this language? it doesn't look familiar... I'm sure that most computers wont even be able to read it. I don't... WANT to read it. I don't think I'll release this one. I'm in a carriage, on my way to see Dante'. I'm not sure why, but he's not home anymore... I think IT took him... if it comes back... I'm running. running far and wide. If you're wondering, I'm not driving. I'm in no condition to drive. Remy is taking me. He says he's going to help me, only because he and Dante' had a past and he still thinks of Dante' as a friend.
I'm not going to talk about how Dante' still feels about him. Dante's obsession is a bit unhealthy in my opinion. I'm writing this as it happens, by the way. So if anything weird happens, you'll need to wait till the next entry to find out.
Remy looks really mad at me... It must be about Scootaloo and Twist. Scootaloo is scared. She must have seen something out there. I don't care anymore. Dante' is all that matters now. He's my best friend, I can't just leave him. He was coughing so much when I saw that thing. the arms... no... not arms... there were no hooves... only tendrils... so many TENDRILS! I... I should go... I see movement in the trees. Somepony in a mask, it seems.
Hotel Edit: I don't remember writing this. but I think i must've written it after the last incident I remember. There are plenty more of these... Clay and I found safes next to our individual beds. Nopony else is ever in the hotel... Which is both good and bad. I can't stand ponies right now... Not the kind that live in Ponyville at least... Claymond is different. I think he's seen things. Been through things... It's kind of obvious, the way he looks. And I got him to tell me a bit about himself. He knows my brother...
Is it all connected?
Am I just crazy?
I keep seeing Der Cribber outside the window, from the corner of my eye. I sent a letter home to Remy, and one to my house aswell. If Dante' is there, he'll find us...
Entry 11... :'(
He's... He's gone...
Basically, the Slendermane got in somehow. it wrapped its tendrils around Claymond... and dissapeared with him. Clay is missing now, and I have to escape. I'll find him somehow. I'll find him, and Twist, and Lyh too. I'll fix everything, and then I'll finally forget this stupid thing... Right?
