AKA - The 'Royal' Treatment~
“Hmmm… I could’ve sworn the Canterlot Boutique was supposed to be around here…”
With an aura of his magic hovering a piece of paper over his face, the slender changeling had to stop at a street corner to better read through the directions given to him. He glossed over the notes to see if there was anything he missed, and huffed in frustration as he tried to blow away a strand of his blue mane that kept dropping over his face. His muzzle wrinkled in annoyance, and he used one of his chitinous hooves to try and pull his mane back. Unfortunately, the very moment he dragged his hoof against his head, he had to try his hardest not to sigh with a wince on his feminine face.
The changeling looked down at himself while he stood alone, and groaned from how ill-fitting his suit looked against his gangly physique. When he first showed up to Canterlot, the suit was much better-fitting, and made him look rather masculine from the tailored fabric hugging his muscular limbs. However, due to recent events, he now felt like he was wearing a suit several sizes too big, and even had to roll up all four sleeves to keep the hems from rubbing against the ground. In fact, the only part of his suit that actually still fitted him was the waistline around his trousers, which kept his pants from falling down to his ankles; however, that benefit was less to do with the suit still fitting, and more about what he had hidden underneath it…
Nevertheless, after the changeling read through his directions one last time, he pulled the paper away from his face and scanned his surroundings. Even though this wasn’t the first time he had been around Canterlot (not including the failed invasion during the Royal Wedding), the narrow cobblestone streets and condensed businesses were easier to get lost in than expected. But much to his surprise, his brows perked up when he looked across the street where he was standing, and found the very boutique he had been searching for right in front of him. Despite how condensed the neighborhood may have been with its buildings so close to one-another, the Canterlot Boutique was surprisingly unique with its curvaceous architecture and pale-pink color. It almost looked like an ornate teapot as opposed to a clothing store, but he could only sigh to himself in optimism before crossing the street towards it.
Meanwhile inside the boutique, a tall and slender mare with a beautiful blue coat and orange mane was standing by the register. Her horn was lit up as she browsed through a tabloid magazine, but was quick to put it away when she heard the bell above the front door ring. Her eyes widened with worry when she saw the lone changeling walk into the shop in a baggy suit, who barely took notice of her as he looked around the grand interior of the shop with wide-open eyes. The mare bit her lip tentatively, clearly still on-edge about being around changelings due to Equestria’s history with them; but alas, her customer service skills shone through as she took a breath, and said with a smile, “Why, hello there, sir! Welcome to the Canterlot Boutique~”
The changeling nearly jolted upon hearing her voice out of nowhere, but was courteous enough to nod at her with a thankful smile. “Oh! Ummm… Hello,” he said meagerly before trotting up towards her at the register. “Uhhh… I believe I was scheduled to be here for a fitting? The name should be under Prince Kryostase.”
The mare’s expression grew more surprised, with her eyes scanning the changeling up and down after hearing that title. Meanwhile, Kryostase (or Kryo for short) couldn’t help squirming awkwardly in his baggy attire, not exactly feeling the most ‘Princely’ in that moment. Fortunately for the Royal, he wasn’t given any judgement by the mare as she lit up her horn again, and floated up a large ledger to gloss through the schedule. “Hmmm, let’s see here… Oh! Here you are!”
Upon seeing the name of Kryostase on the list in her boss’s signature, the mare’s smile turned more natural as she extended her hoof out to Kryo. “Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Prince Kryostase. My name is Sassy Saddles.”
“It’s nice to meet you too, Miss Saddles” said Kryo with a smile of his own while shaking the mare’s hoof. Even though he was grateful to be on friendlier terms with a Canterlot citizen despite his past, he still felt a bit insecure when the sleeve of his suit was rolled up so garishly. It was the only way he could think of to keep his suit from being dragged around or worn down, but he was still aware of how shoddy he looked with it on. So as he looked around the shop, Kryo tried to see if any other ponies were present as he asked, “So, uhhh… I was actually hoping to get this suit retailored, and I was told to come here and meet with--”
“Oh, there you are, darling!~” Upon hearing the posh and boisterous voice of a new mare from above their heads, Sassy and Kryo both glanced up to the balcony walkway that went between the curved stairs to the second floor. The white unicorn mare stood with a gleeful smile at the balcony’s railing, and gave off a strong aura of confidence that made Kryo’s face blush in an instant. Even though he already knew her as a successful fashionista and the Element of Generosity, the changeling looked absolutely smitten by how regally beautiful she looked in the flesh. If it wasn’t for recent events that required him to be re-fitted, he likely would’ve felt more confident about trying to woo the mare with his charms; but as he was now, all he could do was smile politely as she came down the stairs. “I must say, I’m rather grateful you were able to find my shop so easily,” she said while her horn remained lit, and she floated out her roll of measuring tape to drape around her neck. “You wouldn’t believe how many times ponies missed their appointments because they got lost finding this place.”
Sassy Saddles shrugged in agreement, as did Kryo as he tried to speak through his blush. “Y-Yeah, uhhh… I’m not gonna lie, I almost got lost coming here myself. Heh heh…”
Kryo tried not to wince after giving that nervous chuckle, absolutely hating how timid he had become since his meeting with the Princesses a month ago. Even though he had gotten enough time to adjust to the changes that occurred since that fateful day, it didn’t change the fact that he still felt rather alien in his new body. Changelings may have been notorious for shape-shifting, but he missed having been able to fill his suit without needing to do so; and as per request by his mother, Kryo refrained from using any shape-shifting while in Canterlot in an attempt to soften any tensions between changelings and ponies.
“So, Prince Kryostase,” said Rarity as she walked up to the changeling, and shook his hoof while carrying a warm smile, “I’ve been told by Twilight Sparkle that my services would be needed for your measurements?”
“Ummm, y-yes,” he said with a nod of his head as he shook the unicorn’s hoof. Even with how flustered he felt by being around two beautiful mares in this near-empty shop, Kryo still smiled through his blush to remain courteous. After pulling his hoof back from the mare, Kryo tried to unroll his sleeve preemptively. “I, uhhh… I was recommended to visit you after some, errr… changes.”
It was hard for Kryostase not to cringe internally following that statement, mostly since he worded it rather vaguely in reference to what actually happened. Part of him wanted to feel more remorseful about what he agreed to do on that day, but he also knew how much it helped his homeland make stronger ties with Equestria as a whole through their negotiations. Not to mention, Kryo couldn’t necessarily complain when it gave him a good excuse to visit Rarity of all ponies for a personal appointment. Unfortunately, despite how much he was hoping to avoid explaining himself any further, he heard Sassy Saddles ask confusedly, “Wait, what changes? Is it about your suit?”
Even though it kinda technically was, Kryo struggled not to wince while giving an awkward shrug. Meanwhile, Rarity turned her attention towards her employee as she clarified, “Actually, Sassy, I believe it had something to do with how the Royal Negotiation system works in Canterlot Castle. I think I mentioned it to you before, didn’t I?”
Kryo’s eyes shot wide-open, and he looked back at Rarity in stunned silence. While he knew that Rarity was close friends with the Princess of Friendship, he wouldn’t have expected for her to know of something meant to be so private. And to make matters worse, he then saw Sassy’s eyes widen before she said, “Oh, you mean that!” She then grew a faint blush across her face as she giggled with a hoof over her mouth. “Oh, my! I… I honestly didn’t expect for the Princess to still do that kind of thing~”
The Prince didn’t want to think that both of them were aware of what he had to do in that Negotiation room; unfortunately, the mares’ knowing smirks and giggles caused his cheeks to burn even hotter while standing between them. His head lowered sheepishly in embarrassment, and he tried to avert his gaze from Rarity or Sassy in that moment. However, Rarity was quick to notice the changeling’s timid state, and said assuredly, “Oh, but don’t you worry one bit! I know that our nations have had our… differences, but that doesn’t mean I can’t respect a Prince who’s willing to show his dedication when it comes to enacting change.”
Kryo blinked a couple times as he looked back at Rarity, and needed a second before asking, “W-Wait, really?”
“Why of course!” said the mare with a smile and a roll of her eyes. “I mean, really now, darling! It’s not like many men of your caliber would be confident enough to make themselves more presentable before Royalty. And while I may not be familiar with all that was changed, I’m sure that it was for the best~”
Despite how comforted he felt by Rarity’s acceptance, that last detail she said caused his ears to slump down against the sides of his head. He wasn’t sure what all Rarity was aware of, but he was wary about her or Sassy learning anything too personal about his changes. He tried his hardest not to squirm worriedly, mostly so neither of the mares could overhear any crinkling beneath his suit trousers. But after being reminded of that more humiliating detail of his transformation a month prior, which still hasn’t gone away despite Twilight’s insistence, Kryo tried to ask the fashionista, “Well, I uhh… I was wanting to ask if maybe… I could keep my suit on for the refitting?”
Both mares stared at the changeling with puzzled looks, which caused Kryo to look away from the two with a more worrisome expression on his face. “I-I’m sorry,” he quickly added while scratching the back of his mane, “I just, ummm… I was worried about being seen without it…”
Rarity sighed as a more understanding smile grew across her face, and she placed a hoof on Kryo’s shoulder before saying, “Oh, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about! Trust me, Sassy and I have measured hundreds of ponies every month, and neither of us have any problems with providing the same services for a changeling. Especially one of Royalty~”
Sassy Saddles nodded her head insistently after her boss’ statement, and then added, “Besides, we kinda need to have the suit removed to make sure any alterations are accurate. I know that we’re skilled in magic, but we’re not that good.”
The mares giggled to each other from that little quip, even though Kryo was still uncomfortable about having to undress in front of them. The more he thought about what he needed to do, the more he wanted to bolt from the shop and just find himself a new suit. But alas, since he was ordered to visit the shop by Chrysalis herself, he knew that he had to bite the bullet in order to fulfill his duties. So after closing his eyes to take a deep breath, the Prince looked back at the mares and said, “Ummm… O-Okay then. I… I understand…”
“Excellent!” chirped the white mare, who made sure to add sweetly, “and don’t worry about a thing! I’ve measured for Royalty before, so you shouldn’t be any issue!” Rarity gave the changeling a reassuring smile, and motioned for him to follow as she walked towards a large stage-podium at one end of the shop. It almost looked like the kind of stage that ponequins would be propped on before a shop window, and that mental image caused Kryo to blush even deeper in worry. Nevertheless, the Prince tried to conceal his nervousness as he walked behind Rarity, even though each step he took made a soft crinkling noise between his legs. Sassy was walking beside him, and raised a brow in confusion as she glanced back at his suit.
Kryo took notice of the mare’s eyes veering back at his rear, which prompted him to try buzzing his wings so he could fly on top of the stage. Unfortunately, the outlarged wing-holes in the back of his jacket caused his wings to keep catching to the fabric, and he was barely able to hover up the three feet needed to get up on the podium. Fortunately, Rarity used her magic to help him float onto the stage, and told the Prince, “And I’ll be sure your wing-holes are more properly secure as well.”
Kryo nodded with a grateful smile after landing on the stage, but his trepidation was still showing through his blush as it deepened before the two mares. He was now standing completely by himself on a stage, with nothing but two gorgeous ponies who were about to measure every inch of his body. Before his transformation, he likely would’ve considered such a scenario worthy of a wet-dream; but in the form he was in now, it took everything in Kryo not to cringe when he heard Rarity say, “Alright then! I just need you to remove your suit, and Sassy will get started with the alterations while I measure~”
Kryo closed his eyes with a shameful look on his face, and sighed morosely while biting his lip. He didn’t want to even look at either of them in that anxiety-inducing moment, let alone allow himself to be looked at by them. But since he knew the mares likely had a taxing schedule, the last thing he wanted to do was screw up their work by acting stubborn about his appearance. So as he kept his eyes tightly shut, Kryo used his magic to pull the baggy suit jacket off of his torso.
“Hmmm…” Rarity hummed to herself while tilting her head, not expecting to see such a slender and feminine physique on the Changeling Kingdom’s Prince. She had heard that Kryostase was rather muscular before his meeting with Twilight, but now he had a skinny torso with less muscle mass than Sassy. However, as her eyes scanned across the changeling’s chitinesque form, it didn’t take long for her brows to raise up in surprise. Kryo’s pants may have still been on, but the removal of his shirt allowed for a distinct pink fringe to be seen sticking out along the waistline. Rarity blinked a couple times in confusion, unsure what kind of garment the Prince was wearing underneath his pants.
Unfortunately for Kryo, his backside was pointed towards Sassy, who narrowed her eyes on the faint bulge that garment made through his pants and against his rear-end. Before Rarity could realize what he had on, Sassy was the first to ask bewilderedly, “Is… is that a diaper?”
Kryo winced. Hard.
Much to Rarity’s shock, the changeling’s attire became much more obvious after Sassy pointed it out. The fashionista used her own magic to carefully pull back Kryo’s trousers, which he didn’t try to stop while his head hung in embarrassment. As soon as the baggy pants fell around his ankles, he heard both mares gasp in surprise from the foalish garment wrapped around his waist. He would’ve preferred to wear some plain pullups to help with his incontinence, since that was all he really needed after Twilight Sparkle’s transformative magic left him “temporarily” incontinent. But alas, Chrysalis proved to be nothing short of malicious when it came to her son’s predicament, and bought a surplus of the girliest, poofiest diapers for him to wear until his condition ceased. And since adult diapers were expensive enough as it is, Kryo was forced to depend on those when it came to his embarrassing moments of wetting.
Neither of the mares said anything for a long moment while standing in awkward silence. Rarity had a hoof over her mouth while blushing profusely, suddenly seeing why Kryo was so worried about being seen unclothed. Sassy had to turn away from the diapered Prince, but several muffled snickers could just barely come out while she clenched her muzzle shut. Kryo kept his eyes closed in utter shame, and his ears twitched when he heard Sassy’s withheld sputters. And to make matters worse, it didn’t take long for him to hear Rarity struggling not to giggle as well.

The Prince’s muzzle clenched tightly enough to start trembling underneath his intense blush, and he tried not to squirm as he felt himself getting hot and bothered underneath his thick padding.
“M-My goodness!” exclaimed Rarity as she stopped giggling before her employee could. Unfortunately for Kryo, her smile was still tightly clasped when she glanced back at him with a blush of her own. “I must say, I… I didn’t think that Twilight’s magic would invoke that kind of side-effect!”
“Hehehehe… Y-Yeah, no kidding!” added Sassy, who was still struggling not to giggle when she stared at Kryo with a smirk of her own. “Still though, I suppose it is kinda cute in a weird way~”
Kryo finally lifted his head up to stare at Sassy with a puzzled look on his face. Meanwhile, Rarity hummed to herself while staring at that pink frilly diaper curiously, and shrugged before saying, “Honestly, I can see what you mean, Sassy. It is rather appropriate for a more… feminine physique~”
Both of the mares chuckled with knowing smirks back at each other, while Kryo grew a flustered scowl from that “compliment” he just received. “H-Hey!” he blurted with a heated blush while glaring at the two designers. “I’m not femininine! I’m still a man underneath this!”
“Well, I should certainly hope so,” noted Rarity as she turned her attention back towards the diapered Prince, “because we’re probably going to need you to remove your, ummm… undergarments for more accurate measuring~”
Considering what all was changed because of Twilight’s magic, Kryo instantly regretted that statement he just made. He looked back at his poofy padding, and his blush deepened even more than previously. Even though he hated being seen in his diaper, the idea of these mares seeing what was underneath it made him feel even more nervous. Unfortunately, his worries weren’t exactly helped when Sassy asked her boss, “Ummm… Are you sure that’s a good idea? I mean… What if he wets the floor or something?~”
Both of them giggled even more after that teasing remark, which caused Kryo to scowl in embarrassment again. Since he didn’t want either of them to think he was that incontinent, he shouted out insistently, “N-No I won’t! I just changed my diaper before coming here! I’m bone dry!”
Sadly, that remark only made the mares laugh even harder in response. Fortunately for the flustered Prince, Rarity was quick to say assuredly, “Well, I completely trust you with your judgement, Prince Kryostase. And I just want to say that we’re really sorry for how we reacted. We were just, ummm… caught by surprise, that’s all~”
Sassy nodded alongside her boss, even though their apology didn’t do much to ease Kryo’s mind. Nevertheless, the changeling tried his hardest to remain civil before the ponies, and bit his tongue while standing in his padded state. If it wasn’t for his embarrassing appearance, the Prince would’ve chastised the mares for acting so unprofessional before Royalty. Or at least, Kryo tried to convince himself that was the reason he wasn’t stopping their teasing.
“Anyway,” continued Rarity as she hopped up onto the stage beside Kryo, and said to the Prince, “if it helps, I’ll be sure to provide a twenty-percent discount for your alterations, as well as for your Mother if she ever seeks my expertise. Will that be alright?”
Even though he was still peeved, that deal was honestly pretty good considering the shop’s exuberant prices. So with a calming breath, Kryo was able to nod his head and smile respectfully back at her. “Ummm… Yeah, that… that would be nice. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” she replied with a smile of her own, before her attention went back down towards Kryo’s diaper. Her muzzle skewed with a thoughtful hum as she stared at the Prince’s padding, and decided to ask, “Kryostase, would it be alright to lay down so I could undo your… attire? I just need to verify your waist and hind-leg measurements, but I promise I’ll put it right back on afterwards.”
Kryo felt a little wary about letting someone else remove his diaper, since the only other woman to do that was his mother; not to mention, he already learned from experience that those tapes never had the same grip whenever he tried to re-apply them. But considering how skilled the mare was with her magic, Kryo decided to trust her abilities as he nodded his head, and sat himself down atop the stage. Meanwhile back on the showroom floor, Sassy Saddles watched curiously while the changeling sat down on that poofy diaper, which elicited some loud crinkles that made him wince strongly.
“Heh~ Well, this will certainly be interesting…” Rarity smirked to herself amusedly as she lit up her horn, and positioned herself so she was standing at the gap between Kryo’s open legs. This may have not been the first diaper Rarity had to deal with in her life, but she still kept a courteous distance between herself and Kryo as she undid his tapes with her blue aura of magic. Sassy had to cover her muzzle with a hoof so the Prince couldn’t see her attentive smirk, which was thankfully unnoticed by Rarity as well. However, before Kryostase could clench his eyes shut in anticipation of his diaper being removed, he saw Rarity’s eyes widen immensely the moment the front of his padding was pulled away from his waist.
“Oh, MY!” gawked the fashionista as her magic ceased for a moment, and Kryo was left lying before her atop his unfolded diaper. He cringed intensely when he saw the shocked look on Rarity’s face, and overheard a stunned gasp from Sassy just off the stage. The changeling tried to squirm shamefully as he averted his muzzle away from both mares, and tried to cross his hind-legs together to conceal his embarrassment. Unfortunately, even if Rarity and Sassy were able to remain civil about the Prince’s diaper, there was nothing he could do to keep them from gawking at his crotch with wide-eyed and judgemental stares.

“Ohhhhhh, Prince Kryo!~” Rarity instantly grew a sympathetic look upon seeing the changeling’s morose reaction to their laughter, and was quick to use her magic to lift him up from the floor. When Kryo was pulled up to a seated position, with his unfolded diaper still crinkling loudly underneath his weight, Rarity went in to give him a much-needed hug while apologizing profusely. “Kryostase, I’m so sorry for acting like that! I swear, that reaction was completely involuntary. Sassy and I weren’t trying to be mean on purpose!”
It was hard for him to believe such a statement after hearing her cracking up to the sight of his measly pecker. However, due to how attractive the mare still was, Kryo ended up blushing deeply as he sat frozen during her hug. His eyes were widened in surprise, which elicited the faintest snicker from Sassy Saddles nearby. Fortunately, the blue mare quickly corrected herself and said in addition, “A-And I’m with Rarity one hundred percent, Prince Kryostases. I’m really sorry too. I just never, uhhhh… I never would’ve expected for Twilight’s magic to do that!~”
Both of the mares struggled not to chuckle after that statement, even though they couldn’t deny how truthfully shocking that discovery may have been. Meanwhile, Kryo kept himself silent by the time Rarity finished her hug, and he was left sitting with the tiniest erection either of the ponies have ever seen. Even though the Prince was secretly aware of how easily that kind of mockery could leave him feeling so titillated, he tried his hardest to keep that detail from being seen by the attractive mares. Of course, since that response said just as much as a simple shake of his head, the two mares stared back at each other for a moment in surprise. Sassy was the first to chuckle to herself as she glanced back at Kryo’s dicklet, and she decided to speak more positively to cheer up the diapered Prince. “Honestly, I can see that as being pretty cute to some mares,” she said while shrugging her shoulders faintly. “I mean… I bet you’d look pretty good in something more appropriate to your current form~”
Kryo’s eyes widened in worry, and he soon caught sight of the curious smirks that grew across both of the mares’ faces. Rarity looked between her assistant and the front door, and then gave a quick glance around the shop before nodding silently to Sassy. The slender mare nodded back in understanding, and quickly trotted off to turn around the ‘Closed’ sign hanging over the front doors. Meanwhile, Rarity glanced down at the Prince with a more lustrous smirk, and asked with a raised brow, “You know… I’m certain that you can still look presentable as a member of Royalty for the Changeling Kingdom. However, I feel like a simple suit retailoring might not be enough to change your feelings on the matter~”
After blinking a couple times in puzzlement, he glanced up at the cocky mare with a tilt of his head. “Uhhhh… W-What do you mean?” he asked worriedly through his lingering blush.
“Weeeeelllllllllll~” Rarity’s smirk widened when she heard Sassy Saddles locking the doors, thus confirming that the three were all alone in her shop for the time being. But before Kryo could realize exactly why they did such a thing, Rarity used her magic to carefully push the changeling back onto his back. Kryostase didn’t try to resist the unicorn’s magic aura, but he still looked rather sheepish as he was laid back down in a changing stance once more. However, his eyes quickly widened the moment Rarity loomed in over the Prince’s body, and grinned slyly as she allowed herself to be seen in a more personal light. “Considering how I always had a thing for Royals~” she said with a surprisingly sultry purr that matched her narrowing eyes, “it would be a rather wasteful experience if I didn’t try to take advantage of such a cutie like yourself~”
Considering how the two ponies had been acting just a couple minutes ago, Kryo was very surprised to see such an abrupt change in their behavior. Of course, when a mare as alluring as Rarity was lowering herself atop his quivering body, the only thing to come out of the changeling’s open muzzle was a shaky exhale. He could hear Sassy Saddles calling out to her boss, with her tone of voice sounding just as flirty as Rarity’s was getting. “Did you want me to get the blue or the black?~”
