chapter one some unexpected changes
"Angel bunny, i'll will be right back, I'm off to collect some flower's for the nice family of humming birds!" Fluttershy cry's back towards her pet bunny angel who just nods and goes back to his business. Fluttershy then turns to her front door, carefully picking up her woven basket that lay next to the door frame and trots out of her cottage. She then follows the trail into the Everfree forest waving goodbye to her little animal friends.
"It sure is darker in here then yesterday," Fluttershy squeaks out. heading deeper into the mysterious forest. Fluttershy smile's when she notice's a wonderful patch of tulips in her sight range. She then fly's over to the patch picking a few tulip's and putting them in her basket before moving on to a different flower patch. She then notice's a rose patch and fly's towards it with a happy squeal. after about ten minutes she had at least 5 different flower's and 10 of each."This should be enough of flower's for my animal friends," Fluttershy decide's with a smile, now heading back the way she came.
THUMP
"EEEEEK!" Fluttershy squeals putting her head in her hooves. She sighs. nothing else is happening, maybe I should at least take a peek. Fluttershy then raises one hoof from her face to see a really strange creature that was one pony bigger then her. Fluttershy sighs, it seems asleep at least. She then stands up to investigate."GASP That poor creature is hurt!" She says looking at the bloody mess on it's head. Fluttershy now in mother mode slowly puts the creature on he back.It's so heavy. hopefully we can make it back to the cottage sooner. Fluttershy trudges along the trail back to her cottage and smiles when she see's her home come into view.
She then makes it to her cottage, opening the door silently not to disturb her animals. She then places the creature on her couch,then walks over to her kitchen opening up the freezer grabbing an ice pack and making her way back to the couch places the ice pack on it's head. She notices it shivering and grabs a blanket that was hanging on the back of the couch and places it on the creature.It then smiles and stops shaking. Something pure white and fluffy appears in front of fluttershy's face, and now as she inspects it looked like a tail. It looks like a foxes tail but this isn't like any fox iv'e seen. Fluttershy then decides to invite Twilight over to meet the creature.If I don't know what it is then she will most likely know.. With a nod she starts heading up the stairs that lead to her bed room.
What a strange creature....
"wi-- i- be -ok-ay." hmm someones talking? what are they talking about? wait i don't know this voice.... Alice opens her eye's, everything seemed blurry, but then focuses after a few seconds. I hear a gasp or two before looking around. hmm i seem to be in a small house. the person who lives here most like pets. I think seeing all the pet hair on the couch I was laying on."O-Oh...please lay back your badly hurt." Say's a shy yet kind voice. I then feel a throbbing headache and put my hands to my head.Whoever it is was right it does hurt badly, I then feel something gently pat my arm. i take my hands off my head to see a yellow creature the hair that's pink.
"shhhh... calm down it will be all right." Say's the yellow creature. Okay then....how hard did i hit my head? I stare at the creature, it resembled a horse...well more of a pony,but it had bright colorful colors."Huh." i say giving it a confused look."I-If you don't mind I invited my friend over to meet you." It say's looking away. Maybe this friend is human, and can help me. i think nodding my approval to the yellow pony. She smile's at me.
Thump.Thump.Thump
"That must be her," The pony say's walking over to the door. she then opens it smiling, i can't see who it is though witch troubles me. "Hi twilight, It's awake if you would like to talk to it." As i try to see past the yellow pony she moves out of the way to let her friend in. But instead of a human a purple pony with a horn walks in."Thank you FLuttershyfor inviting me to see a new creature."Does she mean me?"It was no problem twilight, It's over by the couch if you wish to see it." Fluttershy say's pointing my way. I then put my head down pretending i wasn't looking. I then see the Twilight walk over to me with a shocked look on her face."Oh my sweet celestia! Is that it?" She say's running towards me with a smile. I then wave hello to her witch earns me a gasp escape from her. Who the heck is Celestia?"It's so intelligent!" Twilight squeals jumping up and down. I then laugh a bit, causing fluttershy and twilight to stare with mysterious eye's.
"Hmm it seems to be able to laugh to." Twilight say's putting a ha-hoof to her chin. I start looking at them both confusedly.
"Could you stop staring at me? your making me nervous." i say to them scratching my head feeling a cloth of some sort. They gasp and get closer to me." You can talk?!" they both say shocked. I laugh at this causing my head to hurt."Of course why couldn't I?" I Say with a huge grin on my face. Fluttershy walks up to me."Well i haven't head of a animal or wolf talk before. I stare at her with a WHAT?"What do you mean wolf? or animal?" i say feeling something on my head twitch.
"W-Well you have a tail and ears of a wolf so I-"
"TAIL AND EARS!" i scream feeling the top of my head. sure enough i felt fluffy soft ears. i then felt for the tail. my hand stroked a fluffy pure white tail."AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" i scream falling off the couch. I see fluttershy rush to my aid and help me back on the couch. I start rocking back and fourth curling up in a ball."What's wrong?" Fluttershy asks me stopping me from rocking with a hoof."Tail...ears...tail..ears..." i whisper with pure shock on my face.
"You are a strange creature." I glare at twilight. "Not that's bad or anything." she say's smiling sheepishly.I Sigh This is just great....just great..."But if i may ask what are you?" i sigh and look towards twilight"Well i'm human,but i guess i'm not with these things." i say pointing to my new ears and tail. Twilight gasps."Human! but i thought those were just a mare's tale?" She say's gleefully. I chuckle Really pony puns?
"But i thought humans were extinct." Fluttershy say's petting my head softly."I wear if she pets me one more..." i whisper angrily before moving away from her. "Hmmm Humans also don't have wolf ears a tail or wings," Twilight say's pointing to what i guess is wings. I gasp"W-W-wings?" i say staring at them. they were pure white with bright green stripes on them."Well yes? but how did you get these." she say's poking at a feather causing my wings to open up at full wing span." why didn't i notice them?There so big!" fluttershy exclaims staring at my wings.I try to put them back with my hands but they won't budge."H-help?" I ask the yellow pony. She rushed over and helped me fold them.
"Well i don't know how i got these but there are...surprising." i say having a staring contest with my tail. Twilight notices me staring at it and interupts my contest "Maybe we should see why these are here." twilight say's poking my tail. i then grab it taking it away from her.."NO TOUCHYS!" i shout scooting back away from twilight."I don't want you touching it!" i scream at her causing Fluttershy to step back."Sorry.." i say looking down.
I then realize something.I haven't peed at sense i got here. "Is there a bathroom." I say crossing my legs and hopping up and down. Flutterhshy looked at me before saying."Go up the stairs and turn left." i ran up the stairs right after. "Go up the stairs and turn left." I nod and ran straight up the stairs. weird thing is i don't remember touching them.
Twilight was surprised by this human. more from it being here then it's changes.She then heard a flushing noise interrupting her thinking as she watched the human walk down the stairs with a smile."much,much better now." the human say's sitting back down on the couch."Although it was hard doing it with a tail," The human say's glaring at her tail." um Mr. human."
"Alice, and i'm a girl." Alice say's rolling her eye's."Well Alice, if Humans are extinct then how did you get here, and if you said they don't have wings, wolf ear's and tail's then why do you?" Alice turned pale. Hmm she doesn't look to good. Alice looks at the ground before saying"I-i don't know why i have these things and all i know about us humans is that what i'm gathering is that i'm not from this world." she say's looking even paler.
Twilight smirks. This means she gets to study extinct and other worldly creature's! "Hey twilight i sent a message to the princ-" Twilight watched as Alice picks up spike who had just walked in to the cottage."D'aww! your so cute!" Alice say's hugging spike."Help! twilight it's got me!" Twilight then takes spike from Alice who pouts and crosses her arms."Hmmf!" she say's turning around and stomping her ho- actually whats in those shoes? Twilight then try's to take off the shoes causing Alice to fall to the ground screaming."AAAAAAAAAH!" Alice now on the ground holding her shoulder in pain."TWILIGHT WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!" Screams Fluttershy, Twilight flinches. She never really hears her friend scream unless shes upset."I wanted to see what was in those shoes." twilight say's stepping back causing spike to hide behind her."YOU COULD HAVE ASKED!?" Screamed Fluttershy trying to help Alice stand.
"I-i'm fine fluttershy," say's Alice leaning against Flutttershy. "If you wanted to see my feet then here" Alice say's lifting up her feet to twilight wiggling her toes. Alice puts down her foot looking at spike."Sup?" she say's trying to sound cool before a rainbow bullet strikes Alice to the ground. Twilight then sees Rainbow pin down Alice glaring at her."YOU SPY DON'T HURT MY FRIENDS!!" Alice looks at fluttershy "h-help me.." Alice say's her wings spread out in alarm. "Rainbow Stop don't hurt her!" Rainbow looks at twilight and spike then flttershy."b-bu-"
"LET GO RAINBOW!" Fluttershy say's screaming again. Rainbow flinches and gets off Alice.
"Oh god my wings won't tuck in!" I say trying to fold them back with my hands.Rainbow then looks at me happy after Twilight explained me. "ARRG GO BACK!" i yell at them, surprisingly they did."That's better." Alice's tail now flicking back and fourth with amusement."So any way twilight i got a message from Celestia saying she was to come to ponyville see Alice." Hmm i guess i get to know who Celestia is when she or he comes. "hmm Someones coming." i say perking my ears."I don't hear an-" Just then a white unicorn and a normal orange pony come in with a shocked look on there face."Oi my names Alice!" i say reaching out a hand. the orange one looks at me with a glare while the white one....stares at my wings and clothes and tail......"What beautiful wings! and interesting style pf clothes and that tail!" i start to back away from the white one and scoot towards fluttershy who notices my discomfort. "Hi rarity and applejack meet Alice the creature i met last night.
"She a' seems kind'a strange." Apple jack say's looking at me."Well nice to meet you too." i say rolling my eye's. i then feel something touch my ears making them twitch. i then notice rainbow dash blowing on my ears watching them twitch."Stop it! what if i did it to you?" i then blow on rainbows ear witch twitches making me laugh. "okay it's funny never mind."
"Sooooo um what now?" i ask flicking my tail back and fourth."I kind of want to go out side and get out of this crowded house, no offence fluttershy." Fluttershy nods."None taken" I then start heading out the door as the scent of pine trees hit me like a ray of sunshine."ah fresh air. an't it nice?" i say walking into a field and laying in the grass "I then see rainbow dash in my face with a scowl."why don't you fly with me? i want a race!" i laugh,me fly? no way!"Sorry rainbow but i don't know how to fly with these puppies. Rainbow gasps. i then feel a tug on my arm and notice rainbow flying higher and higher holding on to my arm "rainbow put me down i can't fly!" Rainbow nodded and let go. I kept falling get closer and closer to the ground, i shut my eye's,but i never hit the ground.
I open my eye's to see the ground and i'm floating just above it. i look at my wings they seem to have been flapping the whole time. I look down at everyone there cheering me on giving me more confidence. I Look at rainbow. "Let's race!"
last night celestia was having trouble sleeping ever sense last night. She had seen a creature dieing and decided to help it. although something went wrong and all celestia could think about was its cry's of pain. Every time she went to sleep the screams coming from it was so powerful it made it so She could never sleep peacefully at all last night. Celestia getting up from her bed get's ready and goes to the dining hall. When she entered the dining hall she could still hear the cries of pain echo around the room. Celestia shivered. What have I done?! "Tia what is troubling you?" Celestia turns her gaze to Luna with a sigh.
"I will explain when we go to ponyville to see my student twilight sparkle." Luna nods and goes back to her sandwich. "If all goes well hopefully we can have some cake," Luna say's smiling at her sister. Celestia smiles, Her sister knows her well."We heading over there in ten minutes Lu Lu, so eat and prepare to leave." Luna glances at her sister with a glare."I wish you would tell me now, it's been a long time sense i was able to talk with you."
Celestia's memory's flash in her eye's of nightmare moon. She then sighs."Yes my dear sister i remember, but hurry we now only have 5 minutes." Luna eye's grows wide and starts eating faster."I might as well it something too instead talking." Celestia say's picking up sandwich from a platter using her magic.
Before long Luna and Celestia were ready to leave the castle. "Now tell more about why we are going to visit Twilight and her friends." Luna asks Celestia giving her a half glare. Celestia looks at her sister with a sad look in her eye's."As I said, I will explain when we get there. "Luna only glares at her before saying.
"All right let's go then, we don't want keep them waiting," Celestia nods, her horn glowing teleport's her and her sister to Fluttershy's cottage.

Last night before Alice came to ponyville
Celestia moaned. Today was very busy, And she might have spranged her neck trying to pay attention to her subjects. She sighed, Tomorrow should be better hopefully. But the only thing that kept her going was the feeling of something out of place. It bothered her not knowing what was out of place yet provided her enough strength to get though the day. Celstia decided to read a bit before going to bed. She looked at the title. watching The worlds: written by Starswirl the bearded. This one seemed to be one she hadn't read, weird sense she had read all of his books.
After at least 5 minutes Celestia decided to try to look into a other world. She then casted the spell to peer into the other universe. B-but what she saw didn't make sense!? She saw what seemed to be a creature, but it was hurt, very hurt. Celestia could feel it's heart growing weaker and weaker. Celestia couldn't stand watching this creature cry in pain..
Celestia's horn started to grow the same glow then started to cover the creature who seemed to have a head injury and a bleeding chest. It cried out in pain as she tried to heal it, but something went wrong it even started to evaporate."n-no no NO!" Celestia's mistake trolled her making the creature disappear before her eye's. Celestia couldn't stand it she closed the window to the other world and went to sleep on her bed having dreams of the creature screaming in pain. "It..was only..a kid" Celestia whispered to her self as a tear fell down her face."What..have..I...done."
Alice sat there in the grass singing to herself."I walk a lonely road, the only one that i have ever known-" She stopped as she saw fluttershy walk towards her."U-um the princesses are here...i mean if that's okay with you," She say's shyly wich makes me smile."Okay let's go see them," I say following Fluttershy back to the cottage.
When we walked in i aw 2 ponies, but they were different. They both were bigger then everyone else and had wings and a horn. The white looks at me with a smile,but when i look closely she seemed to be hiding a shocked face. Now the blue one was curious about me, she seemed to be rubbing her chin with her hoof in thought."P-princesses this is Alice," Fluttershy say's scooting me forward to meet the princesses."Um..hi," i say waving to them.
"Thou can talk, interesting." The blue one say's walking up to me with a eye on my wings."U-um please don't look at my wing's." i say trying to tuck them in again.
"Oh we forgot to introduce our selves." the white one say's smiling at me."My names princess Celestia, and this is my sister Princess Luna," Hmm so she's Celestia. Why didn't i think that when i first saw her?"I see your doing better."She say's pointing to my head.
"How did you..never mind." i say giving her a "i want answers" look. everyone seemed to be giving her the same look too."well i know that because....Spike told me about it in the message!" She say's nervously. Luna glared at her with curious look in her eye's.
"Tia you told me you would give me an explanation.?" She said pointing a hoof at celestia who was wide eyed with worry. I walk up to celestia with a glare"I think we all need an explanation, you've been nervous this whole time, why is that?" Celestia opens her mouth to say something when a scream rings through the air.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!" My extincts kicking in run out the door to see fluttershy dangling on a cliff. I run over to her grabbing her hooves with my hands."Can't you fly?" i ask her. She shakes her head no showing her wings folded un able to move."When a pegusus is scared there wings close!" she say's in a whisper. I start losing my grip on her. feeling her hooves slowly slide out of my hands. one of her hooves falls out of my hands now leaving only one hoof and 2 hands to hold on to."DON'T LET GO!" I yell pulling my hardest."WHERES RAINBOW WHEN YOU NEED HER!" I scream now losing my grip on her other hoof.
I then lose my grip entirely on her hoof causing her to scream as she falls. No i will not let her fall. I then dive off into the cliff after her. I WON'T LET HER FALL. I WAN'T LET HER FALL! My body then starts to tingle. But it made me faster, and faster and faster. I WON'T LET HER FALL!!!!!! I scream in my head. I then dive lower then fluttershy and swooping under her, just in time for her to land on my back. I glide back up. feeling whats the word....Faster. My body feels different, but i don't care. I then fly back to the top where everypony was waiting. They had a shocked look on there face, but i ignored it as I land on the ground at the top Seeing my vision turn black.....
I could hear voices, but i couldn't make them out,they just didn't make sense.
"i......lo.....diiff..."
"Ho...th.......ha"
I then slowly open my eye's seeing Celestia and Luna looming over me with a surprised look."What happened." i say flicking my tail. I then try standing up but fall ti my face. i even was now smaller then then the princesses when i tried to stand up. I then get up on all fours, an it feels...normal. I look at celestia and Luna then turn my gaze to everypony else."What? you guy's are looking at me like i grew a second head." I say giving them a glare.
"Your fur looks nice.." Say's a very shy fluttershy. II smile at her."Why tha...wait a second. Fur?" i say at her with confusion. I see rarity's horn glow lifting up a mirror with her magic and lifting it towards me. "Oh that's a cute picture of a wolf Rarity! it even looks like it's actu-" I then scream and fall over. I then put my hands on my head, but there not hands there paws?"What happened to me why am i a wolf!?" i say hitting my head on the ground.
"Stop hitting yourself Alice," Came the sweet motherly voice of celestia.I stop hitting my head on the ground and look up at Celestia Looks into my eye's seeing the fear in my eye's as I slump back to the ground with my ears twitching. "I'm sorry I did this." Celestia say's to my nudging me in the shoulder. I look at her.She couldn't have done this....she hasn't even met me before....or."I look into her eye's"You couldn't have done t-this." I say putting a paw to my head with a sigh.
"Is every one ready for that explanation," Everyone nods looking at me with sympathy."I expect one from you to fluttershy, like how and when did you go by the cliff. But i will go first." She looked at me with regret shining in her eye's. I stare into her eye's watching the regret swirl and create more."Let me start off by explaining what happened last night." She say's breaking the gaze.
"But what did happen last night princess?" twilight asks. Celestia looks at twilight sorrow filling celestis's eye's"That is what i'm getting too" She puts her gaze on me again with a sigh she restarts her story."Last night i was reading a book of starswirls...called watching the worlds. Witch means yes Alice here, is from another world.
