They integrated the Contract almost as much as here on Canterlot. But the nobles and the higher society have taken in the Contracts in full swing! Luna reached for the parchment, opened it, and then began to read it. She read it twice, thrice, seven times. She read it until she had ironed out every single possible loophole. Memorized every single detail. Deciphered how the rules could be bent or reinterpreted. And only when she was satisfied, she took the enchanted quill Twilight offered. She pinched her upper foreleg for a single drop of her blood, read the Contract once more for good measure, and only then she signed it.
She returned the Contract to Twilight. She too signed it without hesitation, rolled it up, and then conjured it out of sight.

Master and Slave Contract Rules and Guidelines.
This contract, magically sealed and enchanted, is of full legal and social validity regardless of gender between age-abiding adults. For its validity, it requires the signature of the two involved parties, that is the Master and the Slave, signed via an enchanted quill necessitating a drop of blood from each party.
Upon signing the contract, it is the Slave who has the sole and unique power to end the dealing at the time he/she wishes to end it with absolutely no repercussions nor ill-binding consequences and shall once more be considered a free pony/creature. Upon release, the contract shall destroy itself and inform guard, legal, and justice systems for immediate action should it be necessary.
In the unfortunate case that one of the involved parties perishes due to tragic or natural consequences, the contract shall also be destroyed and measures shall be taken to terminate any and all legal leftovers and proper investigations shall be carried.
Therefore, it must be said, that during the existence of the contract, simple yet strict rules must be followed as listed below.
- A Slave is no longer a free, normal thinking sentient creature. It, willingly, becomes a thing. An object. A PET. It will lose all rights given by the Nation of Equestria to its citizens, but in turn, gain those of a Pet, as per instructed by the Contract.
- A Slave is to obey every and all command given by the Owner, unless it is an order to bring bodily harm to others, life-threatening actions to one-self, or demands so vile and repugnant that are either banned by law or simply goes against the morality of the Slave.
- Excluding the previous exceptions, should a Slave disobey, reinterpreted, or be found lacking when performing the orders of the Owner, the Owner may punish the Slave as he/she sees fit.
- A Slave is not an actual slave but a Pet and should be treated and seen as such. If the Owner only desires to own a Slave is to use it as free labor, then the Slave has all the right to report the Master. Labour should be done by employees or actual servants, not Pets.
- A Master must provide shelter, medical care, sustenance, and commodity to the Slave at the very least at the basic level but never in such a way that a normal citizen would expect. Meaning, no luxury goods except for those to enhance the pleasure of the Owner him/herself. No complex food is to be given to the slave; proper food is for proper ponies, Slaves are things. Same for bits; money is given to citizens for their jobs, Slaves are Pets and banned from working as anything more complex than the pleasure objects of their Owners.
- In the case of impregnations, the children shall be considered fully-fledged citizens. The Slave, wether be the mother or father, shall hold no claim nor relationship with the children unless the Owner permits it.
- Should the case present itself where a Master wishes to give away a Slave to another Owner, the Contract must be re-signed and the Slave in question must agree with the procedure. The same rules apply after the transfer.
