In their sight on the school grounds, they saw what could've been half of an entire class of kids on the floor, beaten up to the point where their groans could barely be heard. They laid on the ground, their blood coating the floor red. In the middle of all of this destruction were two kids, one male with a blue jacket and black hair, the other a female with a purple shirt and green hair. The girl was kneeling in front of boy, her expression full of defeat. Even though his face was facing the opposite direction, they sense that he was smirking. "Hmph.... Did you really think that by rallying a bunch of people... you could take me down?" The boy said, and they sense his eyes lighting up as a nearly invisible black aura surrounded his body. "Claire. I thought you had more foresight than that." The boy said, his right hand clenching. The boy nearly chuckled. "After all, you knew long before we met... that I was going to become King." The boy said. The girl glared at her and yet again his eyes glinted and his aura flickered again, showing a sign of being frustrated at her reaction. "Isn't that why you helped me in the first place? So that you could use me to further yourself?" The boy's body expression became rigid, releasing a tone of hatred and disgust. The two kids stayed silent, and the boy sighed. "Well you succeeded, and I played right into your hands." The boy stared down at the girl with hatred. "What more could you want?" The boy said. Upon the girl staying silent, the boy suddenly grabbed her by her hair, his aura flickering again. "ANSWER ME!! WHY DID YOU TURN EVERYONE AGAINST ME!? WHY WOULD YOU BETRAY ME LIKE THIS! DO I REALLY MEAN NOTHING TO YOU!?" Suddenly his rageful question was answered by another question. "HAVE YOU SEEN YOURSELF?!" The girl yelled out. The boy stayed silent but nevertheless didn't let go of his grip. "LET GO!" The girl yelled as she pushed his arm away and slapped him across the face. "TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE BECOME! YOU'RE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR REASONS TO HURT! YOU'RE SO CONCEITED! YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT YOURSELF! YOU TYRNAT! YOU HYPOCRITE! ALL OF THIS STRENGTH YOU HAVE NOW... YOU DON'T DESERVE ANY OF IT!" The boy seemingly was affected by this exclamation as he backed one step, his body expressing a tone of shock and disbelief. "What...?" "I SHOULD'VE NEVER HELPED YOU!" The girl yelled. The boy's body became rigid, his fists clenching. " I WISH I'D NEVER MET YOU-" "SHUT UP!!! The boy roared, tears dripping onto the floor. The girl also had tears in her eyes but she continued to shout back in defiance. "MAKE ME! GO AHEAD AND BEAT ME UP LIKE YOU DO WITH EVERYONE ELSE!" The girl yelled. Suddenly seemingly as if he decided to respond to that statement, the boy grabbed her by the shirt, his right arm already pulled back and travelling at her face. "I SAID SHUT THE F*CK UP!" The boy yelled. And right before the attack that would eventually knock the girl out cold hit, the girl uttered one more defiant word that would shape his life forever. "Monster." BAM! And with that the punch hit her by the side of the head and she collapsed onto the floor unconscious as now the authorities rushed towards the boy to take him out as well. "And now what do you think about this John?" Keon, a tall man with terracotta hair and pale blue eyes said, his glowing eyes gazing deep into the former New Boston King as he used his mind ability, forcing John to replay all of his experiences from a different angle in a attempt to break him down. The Middle Schooler's face, though wretched with pain, replied otherwise. "They deserved it!" John yelled, before jerking his head and hitting Keon straight in the head, only for his face to be slapped by the administrator. Keon used his ability again and forced the young boy to experience his memories over again, and before long the boy was screaming in pain and in anguish, but yet again the boy replied defiantly. "NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU TRY, YOU WILL NEVER BREAK ME DOWN! I'M NOT THE MONSTER! YOU, ALONG WITH THE AUTHORITIES, AND ALL OF THOSE F*CKING KIDS, ALL OF YOUR ARE THE REAL MONSTERS! AND I WON'T STOP UNTIL THE VERY STRUCTURE OF YOUR PRECIOUS HIERARCHY IS DESTROYED!" John yelled as he thrashed in his seat which was hammered to the ground, and his arms trying to break free of their iron prison. The man sighed. "Try as you may John, sooner or later you'll realize the error you're making, and you'll finally break down." The man said, opening the door and closing it behind him, while the boy continued to scream and curse inside. The Authority Man walked away where he was suddenly confronted by another Authority Man. "What's going on there Keon?" The other man said, his gaze stern. Keon sighed. "Just the kid screaming out trying to vent his anger. Don't worry, it'll pass and soon he'll break." Keon said, trying to get the other guy to get out of the way. "They're questioning your 'rehabilitation' methods Keon. Sooner or later you'll be forced to reveal what you're hiding. You have to do something quick with that boy, otherwise they'll sentence you to something horrible." The man said. Keon looked at him. "You know?" He asked simply. The man was silent, before after five seconds of silence, he nodded. "Then come back with me, we'll finish this case quickly." Keon said. "Or else I'll make you." The man begrudgingly followed. Keon opened the door to John's cell where the boy's chains were nearly broken free from pure anger and willpower. The restraints were barely holding him back, and suddenly John saw the two men and glared. "I'm going to get out, and force you two to fight me, and once I escape a unlucky person will use their ability, and from there I WILL NEVER BE STOPPED!" John yelled, the chair starting to break away from the floor. Keon looked at the other man with a neutral expression. "Do it." "Do what?" The other man asked. "Use it and by doing so the threat will be eliminated forever and so we won't have to worry about anything. I'll continue to use my tactics on other kids weaker than him, and you'll never worry about a thing." Keon said. The man looked in shock. "But sir! He'll copy my ability and with it he'll have the strength to do whatever he wants, potentially achieving his goal of destroying the hierarchy!" The man yelled. Keon's eyes glinted. "Not if he can't concentrate." Keon said, before placing his hand on John's head and suddenly the boy began to thrash around again in pain as he tried to shake off his memories. The other man looked in shock at this almost certainly inhumane action. "What are you doing do it now!" Keon yelled. The man blinked. "Where? Where should he be sent?" The man asked. Keon thought for a moment. "He can't stay here, that's for certain, and in another city or nation or continent he'll simply cause the same problem... send him to another world, a world where he almost certainly won't be able to use his abilities ever, a world where there exists powerful humans or beings like us. Do it... now!" Keon said as his grip on John began to loosen as John suddenly broke free and began to assault the Authority, punching him repeatedly in the face. When Keon seemed defeated, John then looked at the man who was activating his ability, a silver aura appearing. "OH NO YOU DON'T!" John yelled as he rushed to strike the man. "I'm sorry kid but this is the only choice I have." The man said before he tore a fabric through space and time right in front of him. John who was already in the air, tried to stop his momentum, but it was too late as he plummeted straight into the portal which immediately began to close. "I'll be back! I'LL BE BACK TO DESTROY EVERYTHING AND TO TEAR DOWN YOUR HIERARCHY! You'll see... YOU'LL SEE!' John yelled before the portal finally closed, silencing his screams forever. Keon slowly got up from the ground, his hand pulling out a huge amount of money as he gave it to the man who opened the portal. "Thanks for the help, now let's make sure that whatever happened here, stays here." Keon said before exiting. The man just stared blankly at the place where he opened the portal, the same one which would pull in New Boston's King and trap him forever. "What have I done..." The man said, before after a minute of silence he got up and left, the room shutting itself off as he tried to forget what he had seen. Was it worth saving the world from a potentially dangerous kid, who with time and care could've been neutralized in a way which would ensure a peaceful nature and a good usage of his ability for humanity, by sending him to another world, a world that now has to deal with this beast? The man almost felt sorry about what happened. He then looked at the huge amount of money, which was easily in the thousands and was certainly more than what he was payed for. Almost. It was nearly morning in the Center Hall in Ponyville. Ponies from all different types of races appear as they anticipate Princess Celestia's arrival. The music plays as Celestia is announced, only for their glorious princess to be found missing when the curtains where opened. Suddenly lightning began to crackle as a dark alicorn appears, blue armor on her body, her fur dark blue and her eyes slit as a serpent. "Citizens of Equestria... I have returned!" The alicorn yelled before laughing evilly, before darkness began to take control of the land. Nightmare - Part 1"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" BOOM! "Ow~" Upon entering the portal, John had found himself high up into the air, which caused him to curse outloud before he eventually crashed deep into the earth. Much of his body was now trapped within the mound of dirt as John began to wiggle himself out. Eventually a *pop* was heard as he was able to pull his head out of the ground. The boy gritted his teeth as he looked up, just in time to see the portal slowly closing. "Hey! Keep the f*cking hole open you motherf*cker!" John yelled as he tried to find any sort of way to reach the portal, but it was useless as the portal disappeared from existence. John slammed his fist into the ground, a sharp pang of pain coursing through his body, but the rage inside of him numbed it. "F*ck f*ck... FUCK!" John yelled, his eyes glaring at the place where the portal once stood as he cursed. After minutes of yelling John's voice began to tire out as he was reduced to just tears, the memory of his father entering his mind. He and his father might not be close, but still they care for each other, and now he would have to live with the fact that he himself will cause his father's pai- "No... it's not my fault...." John said, realization hitting his head as hard as a stone as he recalled a moment where he was just a cripple, where his power was nonexistent, and when he was being bullied. "Let me help you..." Rage began to build upon inside John as he began to remember how Claire had seemingly wanted to help John after being bullied in his early years. John remembered that moment, just before his domination of both his former 'friend' and classmates, of Claire's letter for him, on how they were going to meet up in that park, signed with even a heart at the end. He remembered when his heart had fluttered at the thought of being with Claire, his best friend, ally, and potentially his girlfriend. That was the reason why he didn't trust that other kid he beated up on the roof, because he simply wouldn't believe that such an... angelic person, a person who stood by his side, could betray him. And here he was, stuck in this unknown land, far from home. His father will suffer, all of those classmates suffered, he is suffering. And because of whom? "Not me... her!" John stated through gritted teeth. His eyes flickered gold, but he couldn't use his ability. Of course he could not. There was no human in sight to copy, no aura, nothing to help him become as strong as he was. All he could do was to stay there, maybe seek for help? Whoever he might encounter might not have the same characteristics as his school and the world's stupid hierarchy. John's actions in his own mind was justified. He was bullied by middle tiers who were pleasured by beating someone weaker than he. Now he dominated them in every fight, especially what was show at that day where he beated half of his class with nearly no marks. John began to stand up, his eyes inspecting the foreign land like an eagle. What little of the glow he could use from his eyes was used to brighten up the area just by a bit, and so in the distance he saw a massive castle, hidden in the woods. John raised an eyebrow. A castle? In the middle of the forest? "If it's in a middle of a forest, it could be abandoned, and thus any food I might find there would probably be already reduced to dust." John said, his stomach suddenly grumbling at the mentioning of food. "F*ck. Shouldn't had said that." John muttered. "But maybe it's hidden because it's a base of some sorts. Perhaps if I enter I might find provisions." John thought out loud. John decided to enter the forest, making sure which direction he was going to try and find the castle. "Even if I failed, I could use it as a place to stay, better than here." John said as he walked through the woods. Along the way he found a random tree bearing what seemed to be a black plum. Seeing the opportunity the young boy began to grab it's yield and dove his teeth into one of them. It's skin tasted bitter, but deep inside it tasted sweet like honey. John being satisfied continued to pick until he had no more space to carry them in his pockets and thus the King- no, boy from New Boston continued to walk. As he continued to travel, he began to wonder why it seemed that time had stopped. The sky was still the same as ever before, and the moon was bright. In fact it had been there for a few hours now, but yet it had not moved. "Well that's strange..." John commented, looking up. "It should've been sunrise by now..." John said, but then he shrugged. He probably was in a distant rural area where it had a different time zone compared to his home, so while it was whatever time it was there, it might be just starting to become night. "Oh well." John stated before continuing his trek. It was fifteen more minutes into his journey where he suddenly felt a gush of air, the air swooshing his hair to the side. John spun around, looking over the area for what could've caused the gust of wind. What his eyes couldn't see was a blue mist of stars hiding within the shadows. "Could've been the wind. That's all." John said as he continued to walk through the forest, getting quite bored of having to continuously walk. His path suddenly forked with another path, footsteps relatively freshly made, and those foot steps seemed to be heading towards the castle. In total it appeared that around a small platoon had walked through this area. His eyes brightened. "Well looks like I'm right." John said as he began to follow the path. Another gust of wind hit him and John turned his head back, just to discover nothing. This movement and distraction though gave the blue mist time to dodge his vision and continue travelling ahead of him until it was out of sight. John then looked back at the direction where he was originally going only to see nothing. "Weird forest, but nothing too scary." John said as he continued to walk. By now he was finding himself on the edge of a mountain side probably, and ahead it appeared as though a large area of rocks had gave way, and those footsteps suddenly disappeared from there. John began to look around to see if he could find where the group had resumed, if they had resumed as the distance they could've fallen might've even killed them. Luckily John spotted more steps up in the distance and so after carefully stepping down the young boy finally began to resume his path. "Could I use my phone?" John thought suddenly as he froze. He fished out his phone from his pocket, which Keon hadn't bothered to find and remove it because he had been chained. His eyes glowed for a second in excitement, only for them to be replaced with disappointment as there was no signal here, meaning there was no chance of him being able to call anybody in the region. John sighed as he turned off the phone to save its battery. "Well I trie-" John said, before freezing again as he saw what appeared to be a lion. But this lion had two wings, and it appeared to be more of a cross of some ferocious beasts. Right now though it was sleeping. Every time John breathed the ear of the beast would move sightly, prompting John to stay as silent as he could. While he might be able to dominate this beast when using his ability, his ability was quite useless as of now without any to copy, and he was not going to risk finding out if this beast had it's own powers. Silently he stepped around the lion hybrid, once nearly stepping on said beast. Once he was in the clear, he burst into a sprint. Luckily the sounds of his shoes slamming against the ground did not wake up the beast. As he continued to run and entered a new region of the forest he began to hear laughter. As he looked around he saw on the nearby trees hideous faces, all the faces seemingly laughing at him for his situation. John bared his teeth at them. "Oh what are you f*cking looking at!?" John barked back at the trees who stopped laughing as John pulled back a fist. "Just shut up! You're just nothing to me and you're just figments of imagination probably!" John yelled as he punched a tree extremely hard, some chips of bark even flying off. The faces of hideous laughter turned into horror before they vanished away, the forest returning to normal. John blinked shaking his head. "Well that was something..." John said, before looking at the ground and continuing to follow the steps. He was so focused on the steps that he nearly fell in a rapid current river. He jerked his body back in a attempt to not fall, so hard that he fell on his rump. "F*ck that hurt." John muttered as he looked over at the water. "I think I could make it across. Though it'll mean I'll get colder later." John said before taking a big breath and jumping into the water. The cold current splattered against his face causing him to grit his teeth as his arms stroked through the water. After what seemed like hours which was only a minute he landed on the other side gasping for breath. "F*ck... F*ck... FUCK! That was too cold!" John cursed as he shook his hair and shivered. His coat, shirt, and shorts had all become wet and cold. His teeth chattered but remembering why he crossed that river in the first place gave him the strength to get up again and continue his trek. The feeling of hunger returned to him so the boy pulled out... ...only two fruit "FUCK! It must've escaped with the current!" John cursed as he lifted his fist and was about to smash the ground, the fruit in his hand. It was until he nearly hit the ground where he noticed he still had his hand grasped around the fruit, and he stopped just in time before he could've smashes the ground. John sighed as he put one of the fruits away in his pocket, making sure that it wouldn't fall out, and he ate the other one, again the bittersweet taste assaulting his tongue. He spat out the seed which was even darker than the skin itself before leaving towards the general direction of the castle. Eventually he found the bridge, which extended over a large ravine. John whistled in shock at the enormous depth of the ravaine. One misstep and he might even die from the fall. The bridge didn't look secure either. Carefully John began to cross the bridge, the wooden frame creaking under his weight. Suddenly John tripped on a misplaced plank and he fell on the surface of the wood. After a few suspenseful seconds there was no sign of the frame collapsing. John let out a sigh of relief. "Well that was close." John said as he got up, accidentally pushing the plank he tripped on behind. The bridge began to shake and slowly it began to collapse behind him. "RUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUN!" John yelled out to himself as he dashed across the remaining planks. Upon seeing that continuing running would only lead to him being caught by the falling planks, the youngster closed his eyes and jumped as hard as he could, barely reaching safe ground as the final planks fell. After recovering from the shock of nearly dying, John shakily began to lift himself up from the ground as he gasp. "I-i- I could've died!" John yelled out loud in fright. John looked behind and there was no signs of the bridge ever being there in the first place, causing him to shiver even more as he could've been part of those things that disappeared forever as well. John began to slowly walk towards the castle which was now in view, and it actually looked pretty dated. In fact it looked like it hadn't been used in centuries! "Ugh. So much for finding food and people. Might as well use this as shelter." John said. He then remembered to look down and alas there were fresh footprints. In fact he swore, unless his mind was playing with him, that he began to hear voices! He was safe! And in fact to add to his excitement, a flash of light was seen through one of the buildings, and chances are that it was made by someone else! He was going to live! John began to race to the castle, seeing another flash of light appear. John felt adrenaline coursing through his weak body as he began to even climb up the stony wall to a not so really high but somewhat high enough window. John grabbed onto the ledge and began to pull himself up when he was about to go through he heard the sound of something breaking. John nearly let go of the ledge and nearly had to restart if it were not for another desperate group mid-air. Pulling himself back up he looked and was perplexed at what he saw. In his view were seemingly two people facing each other off with what looked like to be the glow of an ability. But that's where the similarities end. First of all their skin were not of any normal tone. One was purple skinned while the other was dark blue skinned. Then came the fact that the purple one had a horn, while the blue one had a horn and a pair of wings. The blue one also wore armor. On their clothing they appeared to have symbols, with the purple one having a purple star and the blue one having a crescent moon on her armor. The purple one had purple eyes while the blue one had aquatic blue serpent like eyes, something that seemed strange to see. And strangely even in range he felt a barrier against his ability, as if he couldn't copy their abilities or power because they were fundamentally different John couldn't help but notice the purple one sobbing as she gazed down onto the ground. There on the ground were a pile of shards, but what John could guess on the scenario it was her last hope, now gone like that. "You little FOAL, thinking you could defeat ME?! Now you will never see your princess or your sun! The night will last FOREVER!" The blue being said as she began to cackle, dark storms forming above her. Somehow, deep inside of his body, John felt something snap inside of him. Here was a being, clearly stronger than the other, laughing and gaining pleasure and happiness at the misfortune of others. Just like he was bullied when he was in Middle School before he became King. He was picked on by the middle-tiers, who only hurted others because they themselves were weaker than the higher-tiers. Why did this hierarchy thing had to exist!? John closes his eyes, attempting to calm himself. If he let loose now, he could potentially fall again and become a rampaging person, even with no ability. But the thought of this pony, along with others falling because of this power fighter who simply thought she could pick on lower ones because she had the power and had no reason to hit him hard. "I am not like them... I have my own reasons to fight, my own will for freedom... and to defeat those who believe that they have the power to subjugate others." John thought internally, trying to fight back the urge to attack. But John could no longer fight back his will. He had the right in his home, and he was sent away because of others who simply did not see what he was doing! And now he will do this one last time, not because of for these strange beings, but for his own sake of proving himself right. And when he opened his eyes, they were glowing gold. Nightmare Part 2Nightmare Moon grinned as she saw the face of horror on the purple pony's face as they both stared down on the remnants of what was The Elements of Harmony, the same weapons that were used to defeat her one thousand years ago. "Where's the Elements of Harmony now little pony!?" Nightmare Moon yelled before laughing. Her victory was assured. There was no way that she could possibly be defeated. From what it appeared all hope was lost for her enemies. She has rose victorious. "And now the night shall last forever!" In her vision she saw 5 more girls appear, but instead of being worried, she continued to laugh even harder. "And what do you think you all stand a chance against me? Nightmare Moon?" Nightmare Moon asked to the five other ponies. "Erm... I didn't think we'd reached this far." A pink earth pony said holding a hand to her grin in confusion as she thought about it. The other ponies just looked at her. "Really Pinkie? We came up all here with no real plan?" A cyan skinned pegasi said. A orange earth pony rolled her eyes. "I thought you were the one who was doing the plannin' Rainbow." The orange skinned girl said, lifting her cowgirl hat. "This is why I said, we shouldn't rush things but no we've came here unprepared!" A white unicorn said. She noticed Twilight crying on the ground. "And poor dear... I think the battle might've already been lost! Hopefully not, then we just came here just to be imprisoned." The unicorn said, shivering at the thought of being trapped behind bars on a cold and dirty floor. "I'm scared..." A butterscotch pegasi said as she shook. "But we have to help Twilight!" Applejack said firmly. The rest nodded as they stared down at Nightmare Moon who only laughed at them. "You all are nothing compared to me! Nothing! I am Nightmare Moo-" "Oh shut the fuck up I'm already tired of hearing you say that!" The metal that was part of Nighmare Moon's armor cracked under the pressure of a massive punch as a boy with black hair, peach skin, and glowing golden eye, appeared seemingly from nowhere and struck Nightmare Moon across the cheek, a action that stunned everypony. "Oh well he's dead." Rainbow Dash muttered, causing the rest of the girls to glare at her. She gulped. "Sorry." Nightmare Moon though, it was a different story. She was shocked that somepony had dared to mock her by hitting her across the face. That shock turned into rage. "YOU DARE DEFY THE NIGHT! YOU WILL NOW SUFFER!" Nightmare Moon yelled as she powered magic into her horn and fired straight at the boy. John leaned back, the beam of magic nearly hitting his face as it passed over him. John dropped to the floor and swiped his leg underneath Nightmare Moon causing her to lose balance and fall. The boy wasted no time to grab her by the legs and to begin spinning her around. "You just shut the fuck up!" John yelled as he threw her into one of the columns, causing it to break when Nightmare Moon collided with it head on. Nightmare Moon slowly got up only to be kicked across the face before being punched by a barrage of fists at her stomach. Nightmare Moon's horn suddenly glowed as she grabbed John with her magic and flung him away. "Now you will fear the night!" Nightmare Moon yelled before sending a barrage of energy beams, all of which John had to dodge. Some missed entirely his body while others nearly hit him straight on. A beam nearly hit his heart if it weren't for his quick thinking, though it scrapped the side of his chest, forming a burn. This split second of distraction allowed Nightmare Moon to teleport behind John. "What th-" John suddenly got hit straight across the cheek, though not before he also punched her across the face at the same time. The two were sent in opposite directions, with John using his hand to stop himself while Nightmare Moon simply teleports in front for another strike at his face. "See!? You are nothing against the glorious night!" Nightmare Moon yelled before she grabbed onto the boy's shirt and began to use her other hand to punch him over and over in the gut, causing the boy to yell out in pain. He was strong, but that was when he had his abilities. Now though he lacked that power he desperately needed. "Bow down to your Queen!" Nightmare Moon yelled as John fell onto the ground. To add more pain Nightmare Moon placed her feet on John's head, slowly crushing him with her force. John yelled in pain and the Mane 6 could only watch as the boy was being beaten up over and over again. "I HAD ENOUGH!" John roared, his eyes glowing more fiercer than ever. John broke free from Nightmare's grasp and began to mercilessly punch and kick her across the face and stomach. Nightmare Moon recovered and launched a energy beam, only for John to go under it and hit her in the stomach. Nightmare Moon proceeded to kick John in the stomach but John grabbed her leg and knocked her balance. Now it was John who was dominating Nightmare Moon, something that was impossible in the eyes of the Mane 6. Of course he wasn't winning, but he was keeping Nightmare Moon at bay pretty easily. John threw Nightmare Moon into the air, before running underneath her and breaking her back with a fierce upwards kick when she landed down. The Queen of the Night screamed before she was hit across the face by another punch. Nightmare Moon crashed into the wall nearby, her back causing her extreme pain. Her body glowed as she slowly began to heal. "Me... being overwhelmed by a simple earthling? I WON'T HAVE IT!" Nightmare Moon yelled before producing a huge array of swords, all of which who were in her command. John widened his eyes in shock before he nearly got impaled by a sword that soared through the air. John leaned back and grabbed the flying sword in midair and parried a slash from Nightmare Moon who was in front of him. His composure weakened, not even experienced in using swords at all, but it was better than trying to fight with his fists. Nightmare Moon produced three swords behind him, designed to tear through his back, but John noticed and flipped over the swords as they flew. John dashed towards Nightmare Moon, before they began to fight with their swords. But it was clear that Nightmare Moon had way more experience than John, many times nearly stabbing John's chest if it weren't for his quick thinking that saved him again and again. "You can't last against me! Your luck will run out and soon you'll fall to the ground!" Nightmare Moon yelled. John growled. "I'm going to show what I do to people like you!" John roared. Nightmare Moon froze for a moment. 'People'? When did that term existed. Even if a thousand years had passed, they were known as 'Ponies' not 'People'. Nightmare Moon studied John's features and realized that his snout and ears were way different than that of a pony's. A pony's eyes also never glowed unless they were infused with too much magic. He also lacked his 'Cutie Mark' or 'Mark' on his clothing. But Nightmare Moon's split-second confusion gave John the chance to land a hit on Nightmare Moon as he plunged the sword into her stomach. Nightmare Moon howled in pain as John began to drive the sword even deeper into her body. Nightmare Moon sent out a wave of air so powerful that John lost his grasp on the sword and was blown away. Nightmare Moon slowly pulled the sword out of her stomach, blood spilling on the floor. Soon though Nightmare Moon's body began to repair itself once more. "I was impaled by one of my own swords...? By a amateur? By a weakling!?" Nightmare Moon said in shock, before anger too control. Her eyes began completely white as she became filled with rage, her horn sparking. "MARK MY WORDS YOU WILL DIE!" Nightmare Moon said as she launched a massive wave of energy, so powerful that there was no systematic way to dodge the attack. John screamed in pain as it tore his body apart as it continued to deal significant damage. By the time the attack faded John was barely standing up, many bruises over his body. His clothes were ripped apart, and the glow in his eyes had died. Nightmare Moon appeared in front of John, a sword in her grasp as she was ready to kill the young boy. "Any last words?" Nightmare Moon said with a evil smirk. John noticed something glowing behind her and he grinned. "Look behind you." John said as the glow began to become brighter. Nightmare Moon behind and to her shock was the girls from before, with the six Elements of Harmony glowing. "What- NO! This cannot be!" Nightmare Moon said in shock. Nightmare Moon opened her wings to fly out of harms way but John grabbed her from behind in a full nelson. "You won't be going anywhere!" John yelled as he held Nightmare Moon in position. Nightmare Moon growled. "Let go of me!" Nightmare Moon said. John suddenly gasped as a sword plunged into his back, near where his heart was. John's grip however did not weaken the slightest as the girls formed a massive rainbow ray. "No... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Nightmare Moon yelled as she was hit head-on by the attack, the attack slowly vaporizing all evil traces of her. The blast also hit John and he silently yelled as he felt a change within him. Or perhaps it was Nightmare Moon twisting the sword to try to take him out as well. Well whatever happened, John slowly began to lose his grip on Nightmare Moon, no longer Nightmare Moon, before collapsing on the ground and drifting into consciousness. Last time John had woken up and after a brief scuffle with Rainbow Dash, John has now been designated to stay with the most shyest of the group: Fluttershy. How will their interaction go? John asked, causing Fluttershy to 'Eep' as she didn't expect this sudden question. The two had just departed from the main group and are now heading towards the animal keeper's cottage. "My name is Fluttershy." The butterscotch pony said softly, prompting John to stop. Fluttershy who was walking behind him because she was shy nearly bumped into him. "What's that again?" John said, pressing his ear close. "My name is Fluttershy." The female pegasi said, her voice more audible but nevertheless a bit hard to detect. John nodded. "Alright Fluttershy. Can I ask you some questions?" John asked as they continued to walk through the road of Ponyville. Fluttershy nodded. "Y-yes..." "Ok... how long have you known that cyan girl." John asked. Fluttershy looked at him with confusion and with worry. What was he thinking through his head? Truth was he was rating Rainbow Dash based on Fluttershy's word. If there was anything he deemed too negative about her, John would act according to the information. He didn't want to become friends with a potential enemy like he had done with Claire.... "John? Are you hearing me?" Fluttershy's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. When he was thinking he had formed a glare, a glare that accidentally remained on his face when he suddenly turned around to see her, causing her to shrink in fright. John softens his glare upon noticing his frightened companion as he helps her up. "I'm sorry. Thought of something bad. It went away now." John said. Before Fluttershy could ask what was wrong, John held up a hand. "No. Don't ask about it yet." John ordered. "So how long have you known her?" John asked. "Well we met when we were fillies back in Cloudsale..." Fluttershy said. "Erm... fillies? What's Cloudsale?" John asked. Fluttershy looked at him blankly. "Fillies? Mares? Basically... young girls." Fluttershy said. "Oh. Sorry I don't know much about how things changed. From nobody to nopony and girls to fillies it gets confusing." John said with a sigh. "And Cloudsale?" "Cloudsale is a city in the clouds-" "WAIT WHAT!?" John blurted out in shock, causing Fluttershy to jump many meters into the air before landing softly on the ground. "Oops... Sorry about that..." John said now embarrassingly. "But it's true that there's a city in the sky!?" John asked. "Yes... it's main population is a pegasi, ponies with wings, and the occasional griffon. We're lighter than clouds so we can step on them and not fall through. Other ponies though require some type of spell to keep them afloat and light enough to not fall through." Fluttershy said. "Yeah that'd be pretty bad if you began to plummet from thousands of miles from the air and die upon impact." John said, mentally hitting himself as Fluttershy grew a bit scared at such a awful fate passing through her mind. "Sorry again." "It's okay... just try to stop thinking like that or saying things like that... I kind of get scared easily." Fluttershy confessed. "Anyways continue on?" John said, trying to diverge the topic back to where it was originally. Fluttershy nodded. "Yes... you see back when I was a filly, I had difficulties in many things, but I was bullied many times because I was a soft flier. I was extremely slow compared to every one else and so they used by shyness to their advantage and mistreated me." Fluttershy said, stopping when she saw John gritting his teeth. "So apparently even in a world of peace there's still evil people out there, all who must be destroyed..." John muttered, remember when he was still ability less before he became king and how they bullied him, and how Keon mistreated him latter and how Claire betrayed him. "What was that?" Fluttershy asked, not completely hearing what John said. John snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Fluttershy. "Oh sorry, I'm thinking on how sad it must've been for you." John said. Fluttershy nodded. "So I was alone, and I was bullied, that is until Rainbow Dash appeared." Fluttershy said, recalling the moment where Rainbow appeared in her life. "She defended me against those two colts who hurt my feelings, challenging them to a race. She won and blew everyone away with her Sonic Rainboom, and ever since then we've became close friends." Fluttershy said. Both Rainbow Dash's actions to defend a weakling and her ability to perform a Sonic Rainboom, which John believed was his world's counterpart of the Sonic Boom surprised him. If only his world had true characters who treated the weak with compassion as well. "A Sonic Rainboom you say?" John asked. "Cool." He stated. Fluttershy nodded at him, just when they reached her cottage. John could already see the vast amount of animals both outside and inside, and he was genuinely surprised when he began to count. "You take care of animals?" John asked as Fluttershy opened the door for him, and every single animal ran towards her, each one embracing her and showing signs of affection. "Yes I do. Who's the cutest bunny out here? Why it's you Angel!" Fluttershy said as she rubbed her face against a bunny. John quickly began to realize that these animals were highly intelligent compared to his world's animals and very peaceful as well. The bunny made some chit-chattering sounds and pointed at John. "Why that's a new friend! John! Meet Angel! Angel meet John!" Fluttershy said as she placed Angel on top of her head, who waved at John. Yep. They're very intelligent. The King from New Boston waved his hand back at Angel looked back at him. John looked down at Fluttershy who smiled as the bunny began to point at John. "Aww.... he says he likes you." Fluttershy said. John raised an eyebrow. "You can... talk to him?" John said incredulously. Fluttershy nodded. "I do. I have the ability to care, understand, and talk to animals." Fluttershy said, calling all the birds to crowd around her and rest on her with a few chirps. 'Totally useless but still interesting.' John thought. Yes in battle it was probably the useless thing unless she unleashed a few tigers to fight, but it's Equestria! You can't expect them to be really powerful with their abilities if they look like peaceful creatures. Well more like talents considering that animal care isn't really a ability somewhat. "So Rainbow is really a good person right?" John asked. Fluttershy nodded. "She is. She sometimes acts before she thinks, but overall during these many years she's been a good friend, never leaving my side. And it kind of make sense right now since she's the Element of Loyalty." Fluttershy said. "What are you?" John asked. "I'm the Element of Kindness. Rarity is the Element of Generosity. Applejack is the Element of Honesty. Pinkie Pie is the Element of Laughter and Twilight is the Element of Magic." Fluttershy said. John made a mental note to visit them all later, most noticeably Twilight in case something strange began to happen and he needed to check upon her because if she's the Element of Magic, then she must know many things about it. Also because magic sounds interesting and he wonders if he could practice it and learn it in case he's going to have to use it in defense against others that don't care about those lower than themselves. His opinion of Rainbow Dash changed a bit. Now he had a idea as to why he was being questioned by Rainbow. With a soft angel like Fluttershy there should be nothing to harm he- Did he just called her an angel? Oh well. "Anyways I'm going to let you get comfortable here while I prepare something to eat." Fluttershy said. John smiled. "Thank you Fluttershy." John said. For once he met someone who genuinely cared about his well being! Maybe this world ain't that bad. Fluttershy smiled before leaving the to the kitchen. John closed his eyes before they began to glow. Nothing still. No abilities, nothing. It felt strange losing his position as King where he had everything but felt empty, but here he had nothing but yet... he felt whole again. Also it felt strange not being able to use his aura ability anymore for now. He felt like a cripple, but in this world where it seemed that basically everyone was at the same level as him, it didn't matter. He was at peace for now. First Equestrian MealAuthor's Note Hello! Fluttershy asked suddenly. "Huh?" John asked. Fluttershy blinked. "I asked what do you eat. Not to be rude but you're not really a pony. I don't know if you're a herbivore, carnivore, or both." Fluttershy said, shrinking a bit when mentioning meat. "Oh so you're kind don't like to see meat?" John asked. Fluttershy nodded. "Well my kind eats both actually. Some decide to live as vegans, while others in harsher climates where vegetation isn't nearly available eat meat solely. For me... well I'm kind of in between." John said. Fluttershy nodded nervously. "Alright... just like bears?" Fluttershy asked. John nodded. "Yeah just like bears." John said, noticing the white bunny from before staring at him neutrally as if it was spying on him and sure enough it gave the 'I'm looking at him' sign before hopping away. "So would you like some type of plate with berries and some fish?" Fluttershy asked. John shifted a little. "Will you be comfortable if I said yes to fish?" John asked. Fluttershy nodded. "Since on Cloudsale we share the city with Griffons, basically a species that eat fish, and since it's kind of like a essential food for some pegasi's development, we are taught to cook it. So I have no problem serving you fish... though it always makes me feel sad when I stare at those blank eyes..." Fluttershy said. John felt guilty for making her feel bad. "It's alright I'll pass on the fish." John offered. "No it's fine I'll just let one of them animals prepare it, mainly Mr. Grizzly Bear." Fluttershy said, motioning to a bear who was standing nearby. John just blinked. "Alright...?" John asked. Fluttershy looked at the bear. "Mr. Bear, mind preparing some fish for John while I get some fruits and vegetables as well?" Fluttershy asked. The bear nodded, seemingly understanding before leaving. Fluttershy smiled. "Everycreature is nice once you get to know them." Fluttershy said. "I don't know what I would've been without the animals." She said, sighing as memories flooded her mind. John nodded. "Alright." John said looking down. He felt quite bad still for making her feel uncomfortable, but if she was denying it then he couldn't do anything to stop her. "So you're a what again?" Fluttershy asked after a minute of staring at each other and at other things. John was kind of fascinated that everything was in it's place and organized, how every animal had their own reserved space, and that they lived in harmony. "I'm a human. Homo Sapien if I'm correct. Stupid scientists. Some say we originated from primates. Look just because we look similar does not mean that we are from the same common ancestor. Not to be rude but while we both may stand on our feet and we both may look the same, you've got wings, magic, snouts, those ears, those things on your sides, and you basically have no limit on fur color. We humans don't have that drastic color changes, we don't have wings, magic, those noses and ears such things. You get that argument? Which is why I say no opinion over that matter." John said. Fluttershy nodded. "Interesting. But since we look somewhat similar, does your kind have cutie marks? Abilities as well?" Fluttershy asked. John froze for a moment. He wanted to give her more information, but he didn't want to damage his own reputation. But after examining things, he believed that he found a way to gain more support from them, even though eventually that lie had to be revealed. He did not want to reveal his sick past, and if he placed the others as enemies maybe that Rainbow Dash might be more compassionate towards him when they meet up again. "Actually... we do..." John said. "Our kind are born with abilities and we've created formulas to calculate their scale. Some abilities are low and not really powerful. You have mid-tiers, then higher-tiers, the Elites, and then God Tiers. They're the ones that truly dominate their society with their power." John said. Fluttershy became interested in this subject. "How's your society then?" She asked. Yet again John decided to play his cards, because if she saw him as a victim he might be treated more fairer here. "Terrible." John said, which actually wasn't really far from the truth. Fluttershy became saddened by this statement. "Our society are based on abilities. In schools as early as you get your ability, usually middle school, the concept of survival of the fittest was implemented. High-Tiers were basically Kings, Queens, Jacks and Aces of their school, and everyone had to follow those above. The Middle Tiers, those who were weaker than High-Tiers but had enough power, hurt the Low Tiers to make themselves feel better. The High-Tiers rarely intervened, sometimes even promoting such violence." John said. Fluttershy stayed silent for a moment. "What tier were you in? What ability do you have?" Fluttershy asked. John sighed, knowing that maybe he might regret it, though for now it seemed like the best idea. And if he wanted to bury that past, it seemed like the only option. "I am a cripple." John said, grasping the pegasi's attention as she looked at him with sadness. He sighed. "It happened recently basically. I entered middle school with no ability whatsoever. Some people who appeared to help me used me to their advantage. That's basically how I got out and landed here: They didn't want me anymore." John said, before flickering his eyes. "You see my eyes glowing? Well that happens whenever a person uses their ability. But I can't use any ability here. I'm completely useless you see. My dad, well he faced the same thing, a power of barely 1.2. And I followed suite as well and as a result I got beaten up by bullies. And well you know what happened next." John said. Fluttershy looked horrified. "How dare they mistreat you! Just because you're weaker than them doesn't mean they have the right to hurt you, much less remove you entirely!" Fluttershy said angrily. John sighed. "Yeah I guess so." John said. Fluttershy looked at him in the eye. "How old are you?" Fluttershy asked. John counted how old he was, the time in that readjustment course flying by quickly. "About 14. I have my birthday on November 18." John said, actually feeling hurt when he began to realize that his father would also miss all of his birthdays. He was probably torn up for the loss of his son. Or maybe not. Maybe he was mad that his son was not able to correct his fault, to become something he wasn't. Now actually much of what John said was true, except that he left out some critical parts like how he became King after discovering his true ability, and tried to use his power to remain in place, how he became brutal. Thankfully since he was slightly weaker than Nightmare Moon (or maybe vastly weaker) he wasn't able to show his true dark side, and his actions seemed to point that he was just acting desperate, otherwise he might've been in a different situation where he was seen as a threat. Now thinking about it he was thankful that he wasn't able to use his ability at that point of time. "Well I have some ponies that might like to meet you. They're Applebloom, Applejack's little sister, Sweetie Belle, Rarity's little sister, and Scootaloo, a orphan who kind of sees Rainbow Dash as a hero." Fluttershy said. John felt sorry for the last one, the orphan. How she became one he didn't know, but he sure felt sorry for that pony. "Anyways they're about the same age as you are, maybe a bit younger? They also don't have any cutie marks as well. Perhaps you can become friends with them?" Fluttershy offered. John smiled. "I'll consider that." John said smiling at her. She smiled in return. "You're welcome. And here's the food." Fluttershy said as Mr. Bear came with a plate of fish. Fluttershy then widened her eyes. "Oh yeah I forgot about the vegetation. But you can eat that first John." Fluttershy said before leaving to gather some fruits and vegetables. John smiled. "Thank you Fluttershy." He said. He then glanced at the bear. "And you too." John added and the bear gained a smile before leaving. John began to eat the food, savoring it since it had been a long time since he ate something. Wait... John checked his pocket and there it was, that bittersweet fruit that he had eaten during his journey, and a seed that somehow had not fallen out. John gripped on the seed. Perhaps he can cultivate the fruit and see how it grows. Could become a peaceful project in the future he thought. He hid both items away, right when the butterscotch pegasi came back with a plate of colorful fruits and leafy greens. "Here is the food John." Fluttershy said. "Enjoy." She said before sitting next to him and eating some leafy greens. John smiled. "Thanks Fluttershy." John said before continuing to eat the fish and some fruit, making sure not to accidentally bite the bone. Eventually he was satisfied with the amount of food he ate. He got up, feeling his stamina slowly regenerating. "How was it?" Fluttershy asked. John gave a thumbs up. "It was great! Thank you!" John said causing Fluttershy to smile. "You're welcome John. You'll always be welcomed here." Fluttershy stated. John smiled. "Thank you once more." John said. Fluttershy nodded. "Now where will I be sleeping ya know?" John asked. Fluttershy motioned him to the couch. "I wasn't expecting you to be sleeping here, so please just rest in the couch for tonight while I get your things ready." Fluttershy said. John smiled. "Even if it's just a couch, I like it." John said, feeling the object. "And it feels soft. Yeah I'll stay here for now." John said, jumping onto the couch. Fluttershy smiled. "You're welcome. It's getting late now. And while I'm not sure it's going to happen soon, you're going to have to return to school in order to get an education so you might have to get up early eventually so get some rest." Fluttershy said. John nodded. "Alright. Thank you so much again." John said. Fluttershy smiled. "Goodnight." Fluttershy said as she left the room. John smiled as he laid on the couch, the sound of some of the nocturnal or still awake animals penetrating his ears, though they came soft like a lullaby. Slowly John began to close his eyes, reflecting on that day. He hated lying but he knew it was necessary it he wanted to leave both his past and make friends with them. And that night he dreamt of his father arriving at home with a book called UnOrdinary, a book where it was just a world of cripples and only one person had an ability. An ability he used for good.

Fluttershy's CottageAuthor's Note Welcome back to another chapter in Equestria's UnOrdinary! Last time John had woken up and after a brief scuffle with Rainbow Dash, John has now been designated to stay with the most shyest of the group: Fluttershy. How will their interaction go? Please for every viewer that views this story please rate it and comment in the comment section below.
It has been a long time since updating this! Because of this you might see a different intonation of how the chapter is phrased. I hope soon that these chapters will get longer, or at least won't be rushed. Thanks for the 37 likes this story has and the amount of viewers and people following this story. Expect some major events happening in the future so please like and follow to support me and to see what could happen next. Thank you! First Equestrian Meal "So... What do you eat?" Fluttershy asked suddenly.
