After waking up in Equestria after the destruction of his home planet, Vegeta. Kolard has to now find his way around the world and get to know the locals. With his scouter being incapable of reading the magical energies of the world and the beings that have them, only able to tell him where they are, he is helpless to figure this out.

After a conflict with one of the Princesses, he chooses to become a defender of Equestria, wanting to help the ponies any way that he can to ease the burden of the pain of his inability to save anyone on Planet Vegeta because of his gentle-heart and his cowardice.

What he doesn't know is that there are plenty of powerful creatures in Equestria and not all of them are kind.
