Ever since the invention of the automobile, Motorsports have become the newest and most popular sport in Equestria. Events of all types have now been welcomed, and a multi-vehicle event (Similar to the Race of Champions) has been introduced into the Equestria Games.

However, a select few rich ponies and nobles have decided that the multi-vehicle event at the Equestria Games is not enough. They want to find out who is the best racer in Equestria. So, they formed an organisation, pooled their resources and created what is now know as Project Equestria Racing.

72 of the best racers in Equestria, pitted against each other in many championships across Equestria, with special Invitational and Major events in between. And finally, in what some called an act of insanity, motorbikes are allowed to race alongside cars, making every event 'Car vs Bike'.

Now, after the retirement of the previous season's #1 driver, a amateur rally car driver steps up to the plate in the #72 spot, with the dream of becoming Equestria's No. 1 Racer...

This is a crossover of My Little Pony and Project Gotham Racing 4 and is set after the end of Season 9, after The Final Problem.
