A new day was upon the Crane Estate, it was a dreary day, storm clouds had moved in with heavy rain patting it's self against the windows, the wind was wild blowing to and fro whistling out to stay inside. Autumn awoke in to the sound of a knock on her door. Remembering she had stayed at the mansion she got up and opened the door. Outside was Cream with a smile on her face.

"Wake up sleepy head, breakfast will be ready soon. We also want to talk to you about your current situation more at the table as well. Daddy wants to make sure your fine, and to finally meet you face to face." Cream pushed her way into the room heading towards the closet. "Let's pick out something nice for the day as well, there's lots to choose from in here that you can have too."

Still in a slight morning daze Autumn closed the door and followed after her friend, "Cream, I'm still a bit out of it, what's going on?"

Cream was looking through various dresses of different colors and designs, holding them up towards Autumn trying to make a selection. "Daddy... Our boss wants to make sure that you are still fine after the incident, and for you to let us know whatever we can do to help. We can even make any adjustments needed to your accommodations to make it less likely something like that will ever happen again. From there it's a bit of a surprise for you and I don't want to spoil that surprise until then. Now how do you feel in a nice faded orange?"

Cream held out a faded orange dress, the hem cutting off where Autumn's knees would be, there were short sleeves that would cover her shoulder, and a small window which would show off a small amount of her cleavage. It was trimmed with a nice darker brown in a foreign looking pattern. Cream then grabbed a pair of matching high heels, and to finish off the ensemble she decided that a silk sash would be perfect to wrap around the waist of the dress.

Autumn rolled her eyes and put on a big grin and said, "I guess, it matches my tones, don't know why you would have something of that color considering how bland you look." Autumn laughed at trying to picture Cream in the same outfit.

"I thought it looked good on me at the time, good to know someone thinks differently. Too many were scared to say something when I went and bought it, just cause daddy is a big business man they didn't want to upset his daughter and have him come down on them. I think it will look good on you though, we can pick out some other outfits later that you can keep." With that the mare handed the clothes over to her friend to get dressed.

Down at the dinner hall, Crane was already seated at the head of the table, he was reading through the papers, looking for any stories that may have popped up from the incident, none had shown their face yet which was good. His team were doing their jobs, next was looking through the stocks, having investments in some of the bigger businesses meant he had to keep on top of how good or bad they were doing for him, and had to make sure his accountants and investors were working hard to keep that flow going. The doors to the dining hall opened Cream and Autumn made their appearance.

Taking their seats near Crane so they could talk with him during the breakfast, Autumn gazed at the short stallion, faintly remembering him from the previous day. Sitting down, Autumn never once broke her stare on Crane at all, he had her attention through and through. Crane paid no attention to the stare he was given, he picked up the bell at the head of the table and gave it a ring. The butlers came in with the breakfast on carts, setting the food on the table. Pancakes, fruit, toast, and cereal to eat, with milk, juice, and water to drink. After setting the table with the meal, they left the three ponies to themselves.

"So Autumn, how are you feeling today, I'm sorry I wasn't around yesterday to see to my guest, but it seems my staff made you feel at home, and you had Vanee here come out and keep you company as well." Crane had started with an apple, peeling it expertly with a small pairing knife.

"I'm good Mr. Darlek, thank you for taking me in, given the circumstances, though I don't know how I can pay for all the hospitality you have given to me." Autumn sat there, staring as he peeled the apple, spinning it around as though it were nothing.

"Call me Crane if you would like, or as Vanee and Zaonino still call me daddy, even though dad or father is fine. You may work for part of my businesses, but I'm not your direct boss, that falls on those two since they wanted to work in that sector of the world." He finished peeling and gave a bite into the fruit, the sound of the crisp crunch piercing the silence.

"Okay Mr.Crane, thank you again for the employment as well. I've always wanted to be an actress growing up, so this is a help in some degree. It may not be what I had in mind, but it's a start and that's all I can really ask for. I do dread not making my bills in time, but having a steady flow of work will be good." Autumn picked out a pancake from the stack, setting it on her plate, then sprinkled a few strawberries on top with syrup. "One day though I want to be seen on the big screen in movies that everyone can enjoy, but I know that isn't going to happen right away."

"Everyone starts small, we only grow by putting ourselves through those hardships. I started out in a bad place with an abusive father, and a mother that had little care for me." Crane's face grew a slight frown. "When I got out into the world on my own it was a matter of just finding what I was good at, and starting there. Now I'm big in the business world with a place here and there of that pie we call fortune. Keep at your work, and I believe you'll make it there one day as well. Now as for what happened the other day, the authorities have been informed, and are on the look out for the rest of the stallions who got away from the scene, I've already given them all they need to know, and the doctors say you'll be fine, no permanent harm fell upon you."

"Yes, Lily informed me of everything that transpired when I was out cold. It was very kind of you, but how did you know where I was at to even come to my aid?" Autumn questioned the stallion, as she started digging into her second pancake.

"The ones that took your phone, didn't just set it to record, they streamed it across the net like idiots. Once I saw where they were, it was just a matter of recognizing the location from some charity donations in the past. Don't worry too much about it though, I do want to make a proposition for you. You don't have to agree right away, you may take a few weeks even if you would like to think long on it as well." Crane gave a grin, not one of good intentions, but the smile seemed like it was for that.

"I don't know what you're offering, but I'm willing to listen to the proposition you have for me. Is it something that Cream can sit in on as well or is it something more of a private matter?" Autumn sounded shy in tone, knowing that it could be something fantastic or something horrible, her mind racing with what it could be.

"Vanee can most definitely sit in on the proposition if you want her to that much, we will have the meeting up in my office later today, I'll have the paperwork drawn up so everything will be formal, and nothing is a surprise. It will be more mutual satisfaction for us both. With that said ladies, I'm due for a conference call in ten minutes, so I must be going now. I'll see you both at lunch time. Vanee, why don't you take Autumn to the indoor pool, it may be pouring rain out, but still doesn't mean you can't have some fun." Crane stood up, kissed Cream on the forehead, and took Autumn by the hand kissing the back of it like a gentlecolt.

The morning slipped on by with the girls spending time down at the indoor pool, relaxing in the sauna for a bit, and finishing the morning off with more touring of the mansion, showing off the various rooms of long past that seemed to be left to the dust. Autumn was in awe at home much there was to the home, stopping and asking about various pictures on the wall, statues in the hall, and even questioning what some things were that she had never seen before. Lunch came around, the girls had theirs but Crane had not come down to eat with them. When the meal had concluded Lily entered into the hall.

"Hello Ladies, the master wishes you to come up to his office now for your business. He has everything ready to make things fast, he has a few other meetings today." Lily bowed and smiled to the mares.

Walking into the office for the first time, Autumn, was left in a state of in-quizzical shock, seeing all the books, the big stained glass window at the back, and the size of the room itself. Crane was sitting at his desk, two big chairs the same as his sat in front of the desk waiting for Cream and Autumn. Reaching the end they took their seats, Autumn still looking around her face showing the childlike wonder.

"Welcome to my office Ms.Blaze, I know its a bit big, but it isn't anything too special. I know I did miss lunch but my previous meeting went on a bit longer than I would have liked, but now my time is for you. I've got the paperwork fully drawn up here and ready to sign if you make your mind today. The offer will still stand for up to a month's time, from there it will be pulled from the table. I hope your agreeable with at least the amount of time I'm giving for the decision." Crane explained to Autumn, making sure to be clear and concise.

"I understand, I know what waiting for answers is like, it's not fun sitting in anticipation for too long. I'm willing to hear your proposal for now at least. So what do you prepose?" Autumn responded, wondering what it could be.

"Well now, down to business, I like that. I prepose that we'll give you a pay cut, we'll take a third of your pay, in exchange, you'll be given housing with Vanee, and Zaonino at their home, along with that you would not have to worry about paying any bills since I pay for those expenses for them. You would also be free to come and go as you please from there, with or without an escort to protect you from further incidents. Lastly, you'll be able to join any film they wish to make at any role, including lead if you wish, but the last thing you'd give in return is your loyalty to the family, doing as asked but not something that puts you in a position of servitude, but if we want you to change positions from actress to service representative for some other business of mine you would do so with advanced notice of course." Crane held his fingers together at the tips, after laying everything on the table.

"So, I'd like to ask a few questions if possible." Autumn sat forward, to get a read on Crane's face, to see how truthful he was being. "I lose some pay, but I will not have to worry about things pretty much, I get to live with some coworkers, and I get protection from others as well. However, I have to possibly give up my dream as an actress if you so choose. Am I understanding you correctly?"

"Yes, however, for now I'm content on letting you have your way with being on set, if your first film you star in does good, I may just change my mind and let you keep your dream. I do have hands in the film industry for all audiences, I'm sure I could find you a spot on the movie theater billboard and screen." Crane leaned back nonchalantly in his chair, smile across his face.

"Autumn it sounds like a good deal, and we'll get to have fun with Zee. I'm completely fine with the idea that daddy is offering, I would highly consider taking it." Cream took hold of Autumn's hand, giving her puppy dog eyes that dug into the kirin's soul.

"I still have my apartment lease for another 9 months, then I'd have to pack and move, and so much more to make that happen, it would take so much time before I could even move out." Autumn's head sank, knowing that this was a good deal on paper, but the actual amount of work that would be involved would take too long in her mind.

"As I said, I'll cover all expenses, even if it means paying for an empty apartment for 9 months, and as for moving stuff, I have stallions that can do that for you to save you time, they can get it done in less than a day. All you have to do is sign the paper on the line." He laid the contract before her, pen sitting on top, begging to be picked up.

Autumn stared at the pages, then at Crane, then to Cream, and back to the contract. Her nerves shaking, trying to think clearly, it would cost so little for her, to live a luxurious life, but at the cost of being indebted to another family for her life. She would be with friends, be safe no matter where she went, not having to worry anymore about things happening to her. She picked up the paper, and passed it back to Crane, she did not sign it.

"I like the idea, I really do, but right now I'm unsure and have a lot on my mind. Especially after the recent events, I am not fully in sound mind to make this decision. However I will still keep the offer open for the month. Cream, if you wouldn't mind, could I still stay at your place for a bit, just to see if I would like it there?" Autumn, still not fully sure of herself, humbly stated her mind.

"Autumn, you are more than welcome to stay with us. We'll get a room set up for tonight, and swing by your place so you can grab your things. Don't worry about it too much either, I think you just need some company after what's happened, that way you can clear your thoughts." Cream gave Autumn a big hug around the neck as she could.

"If that is your choice for now, than I am more then happy to keep this deal open should you change your mind. Just ask either of the girls for my number and they'll gladly give it to you. My line is always open to them since the number they have is just for us to stay in contact. Now if that is everything, Lily has prepared some stuff for you as well." Crane gave them a wave out of the office, his face showing happiness, his inner emotions screaming to the ends of the earth. He was close to getting her, but this my prove more beneficial in the end of it all.

Exiting the office, the girls saw Lily standing on the lobby floor below them giving a wave in their direction. Beside her was a suitcase, and she was holding a brown bag in the other hand. The two mares came down the stairs to meet with her in the lobby.

"I'm pretty sure after your meeting your more than ready to leave, the rain has lightened up, but its still coming down. I packed a bag of some outfits that would be befitting of you Autumn, from Vanee's old wardrobe. They chef also prepared a snack for you to take home as well." Lily passed the suitcase and bag over to Autumn, who nearly fell over grabbing the brown bag's weight.

"Snack? It feels like a whole days worth of food by the weight. I am really grateful though, be sure to thank him for me Lily. As for you, thank you so much for watching over me. I'd give you a hug but my hands seem to be full, could you do me the favor." Autumn gave a small laugh at her predicament.

Lily happily gave Autumn her wish of a hug, wrapping her arms around her, embracing her as a mother would seeing her child off. Cream gave her thanks to the maid as well, then grabbed her coat. Autumn followed behind her as they left the mansion, getting into the car. They said their last goodbyes as they drove off, the rain pelting hard against the windshield. Autumn laid back against her seat, reflecting on the past few days, it certainly was a lot to take in, but nothing she couldn't manage with some relaxation of body and mind. Tomorrow would be her first scene with just one other, but that was her problem then, now it was all about her.

"So, Autumn, are you sure you don't want to take my dad's deal right away, it does seem really good. I'm sure he wouldn't pull you away from acting, it would seem really cruel to do it, but I understand you wanting to think about it as well." Cream asked as she drove along the stretch of barren road.

"I'm sure, I want to think about it a lot more. This is a much bigger decision the choosing if I want to act in a scene. This could change my life forever, so I don't want to jump the gun on this one. I do thank you for your concern though." Autumn kept her eyes closed, just set in her relaxed mindset.

"Alright then, I won't prod you harder on that way. As for now you can stay for the whole week at our place, that way you get a better idea than just a night or two. We have a spare room and a fold out cot that you can sleep in. It's not a big house like the mansion, it's much more modest. Zee, I'm sure will be delighted to see you too. You're welcome to help yourself to the home as if it were your own as well, but we can talk more when we get there. I hope you don't mind country music." Cream turned on the radio, country music playing from it.

Neither mare talked during the rest of the trip on the way to Autumn's apartment. The rain providing enough background sound to put Autumn asleep, with the country songs keeping Cream awake. After an hour and a half of traveling, they arrived at Autumn's apartment building. Cream gave the sleeping kirin a shake, startling her awake.

"I'm sorry for scaring you, but we're at your place. You need me to go in with you, or are you good on your own?" Cream apologized to her friend.

"I'm good Cream, I'll be quick, just need to get some clothes, and my phone charger. I won't be longer than twenty minutes." Autumn was breathing heavily from her little scare.

Autumn ran into the building, with the suitcase she had been given in tow. While she ran in Cream made a call to Zee, informing her of the situation. Zee seemed fine with the idea, and told her sister that she'd get the room set up before they got home. Than Zee suggested a naughty idea to her sister, something that she would think would be enough to start the tipping point of Autumn to the edge of joining work on one of their more hardcore of projects that was coming up. Cream agreed, seeing Autumn leaving the building, she said her goodbyes, and ended her call.

Autumn got back into the vehicle, setting her bag in the backseat. Panting she got buckled up, and Cream took off again. Cream had a big smile on her face, giving Autumn a bit of a weird vibe, but nothing frightening. Autumn rested her head back again.

"So how long til we get to your place Cream? I don't think I ever asked where the two of you live. I hope it isn't too far, I'm getting a bit hungry." Autumn's stomach let out a growl.

"What, you just finished eating not to long ago Autumn. It's not too much longer, about another fourty minute drive, assuming traffic is nice. Why not grab something from the bag the chef gave us." The mare's face contorted to one of confusion mixed with humor.

Autumn reached into the back seat, blindly sticking her hand into the brown bag, she grabbed something square like and pulled it to the front seat. It was a little red container, inside sat three chocolates. Cream noticed what they were, and put her hand over them to stop Autumn.

"Don't eat those, not yet. Those are best eaten with friends after a good meal. Trust me Autumn, it'll be worth the wait on those, pull something else out."

Autumn listened to her friend, closed the container and reached back again, this time pulling out something softer. It was a little baggy filled with some slices of lemon bread. Grabbing a slice out she held the bag over to the earth mare while she drove. Getting a small chance to grab a piece, Cream did and stuffed it into her mouth. The sounds of delicious food consumption filled the car.

The rest of the ride was uneventful, but the rain did end when they pulled into the driveway. Autumn was surprised, Cream wasn't lying it wasn't a big house, just a single floor home, out from the city, with no neighbors for a while. It was a simple white exterior with metal roofing, and solar panels. It was cozy looking, smoke billowing out of the chimney, signaling a fire was going. The front porch had an overhang with a love seat sitting to the left of the door. Cream grabbed the stuff from the back seat, then locked the car doors.

"Well, I did say it wasn't like the mansion, but I prefer it that way. We may be from a rich father, but we like simple stuff too. Go on in, it's your home for the next week. Zee should have your room ready for you, just make sure to take your shoes off by the door." Cream ushered Autumn to go ahead of her.

Autumn ran to the door, excited to see the inside, and Zee again. Opening the door lead into a small hallway, from there was a door to the right and left on the sides of the hall. One lead into a kitchen, the other was solid white door that was closed. Autumn took off her shoes and entered the door leading to the kitchen, it wasn't big, but it was big enough for the couple ponies living there. Stove, fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher, everything you would really need or want for a basic kitchen. The dining table was at the other end of the kitchen, next to an archway leading into the living room. Inside Zee was sitting on a couch, while a fire roared in the hearth. She was reading contently not noticing that the other mares had arrived.

"Hi Zee." Autumn gave an over enthusiastic wave hello to the bat mare. "You've got a nice place, it's nice to be staying with you and Cream for a week."

"Well now, I didn't hear the two of you arrive, let alone come in. Guess I'm getting to engrossed in this book again." Zee, put a bookmark into the pages, setting the novel onto a small table. "I have your room already for you, it's not the greatest set up since it was short notice, but it should do for the time. I'll show you to it, and the rest of the house as well." Zee stood up and walked out to the kitchen, giving Cream a hug as she passed by.

Attached to the kitchen was the hallway, it ran both right and left, it was narrow from clutter of a couple bookshelves, and laundry hamper. Zee took Autumn down the right turn first, coming to the door at the very end of it, opening it was a small room, it had a cot set up, small armoire, and a mirror. It looked like it hadn't been used in a while for a living space.

"This will be your room for the week. You can put your clothes in the armoire, it's empty. It used to be my mother's so it has sat and gathered dust. The cot isn't the most comfy, but I've left you extra pillows to make up for that to some degree. The room just here is the bathroom if you need it at any time, just be wary the toilet sometimes sticks so it needs the handle jiggled." Zee pointed to the door just a few feet away from Autumn's. "Down the hall is my room, and the door near mine is Cream's room. If you need us at any time, go ahead an knock on the door, we'll do the same with you."

"I noticed the extra door in the entrance hallway, is there anything in there I should be aware of? Is it something off limits?" Autumn ask with genuine curiosity.

"It's just the home office, we keep it closed when we're not in there. Nothing important behind that door for you. If you can't find us in the house and see the door open, peek in and see if we're working. If we're not there, close the door for us. We've forgotten in the past, and we just don't want anyone in there without us present." Zee gave a smile, and pulled Autumn into her embrace. "Don't worry about things either, Cream told me what happened as well, we're both here for you if you need us. For now, you two must be starting to get hungry."

Autumn's stomach let out a low growl at the sound of food. "Hehe, I know I am. She hasn't stopped making protests for the last leg of the drive." Autumn pointed to her belly.

"Well we'll get dinner started if you want to unpack your things and just relax. We'll let you know of the house rules at the table during supper." Zee turned and left Autumn to her room.

Autumn got unpacked, getting everything into the armoire. She changed out of the dress she had been wearing, putting on some sweats to relax in. Looking into the mirror, she stared at a small crack at the top. She didn't notice it earlier, but it was small enough to never notice, leaning in closer it seemed to have a small chip out of it. Small enough that you could fit a pencil tip into it, but nothing else. About to touch the crack Autumn heard her name being called, turning from the mirror she headed towards the kitchen.

"Autumn!" Cream shouted again, standing near the hot food. "Did she fall asleep, she was so adamant on eating." Cream's face contorted to minor frustration like a mother's would.

"I'm here, what is it?" Autumn rounded the corner into the cooking area. "That smells good Cream, what did you cook?" The air wafted with a wonderful fragrance that filled the room.

"It's nothing special just a chicken parmesan, didn't feel like making something overly complicated after all that driving. Since you were so hungry to begin with as well, it was fast to make too." Cream gave her friend a motherly smile.

"I got the drinks from the office fridge Cream, is Autumn out of her room finally?" Zee was coming in blind from the entrance corridor, box of beer blocking her view.

"Yes she is, now get to the table you two, I'll get the pot on there, then it's help yourselves. Now move it." Cream gave a soldiers order sounding tone to her message.

Supper was good, downing all the food, drinking a few beers each. It gave Autumn the warm feelings of being back home again with her friends when they had movie nights, or went out to eat. The atmosphere melted away some of the doubt in her mind about signing that contract.

"So Autumn, house rules time, I hope your ready for them." Zee stared at the kirin, giving her a look of seriousness. "Follow the rules and everything goes fine, break them and punishment ensues base on the severity."

Autumn nodded, understanding that this wasn't her home, so she would have to follow the rules. Sitting ready to here them read aloud to her.

"Rule one, Clothes are optional unless a guest is going to be here. You at the moment are not a guest, you are being treated as a member of the household so that rule is ignored, however if someone is coming you'll be informed ahead of time. Rule two, no going into the office unless one of us are in there. Important information is kept in there, even if it is locked away in a cabinet, doesn't mean it isn't important enough to be watched. Rule three, everyone takes turns doing chores, from dinner dishes to scrubbing the toilet. Lastly, rule four. If someone has their door closed knock, if the door is open and they are in there, no need to knock, just talk away to get their attention." Zee's hand now holding four fingers up, one for each rule she had stated.

"I can do those, easy enough. It's fair and totally justified in the reasoning behind them as well, nothing for me to argue over." Autumn's face was bright with glee on that fair deal. "Now, I have a treat for us that Cream said to save." Reaching behind her, she had managed to sneak the little container from earlier into the kitchen. She set it on the table removing the lid, revealing the three chocolates from inside. Zee's eyes lit up, sparkling at the sight of what was before her, tongue drooling at the sight. Cream rolled her eyes at her sister's comedic look.

"Cream are those what I think those are?" Zee pointed at the chocolates.

"Yes Zee, your favorite, but only enough for one each, now. They were supposed to be Autumn's but I figured it would be better if we shared them considering how filling they are." Cream poked her sister's arm.

"I don't mind sharing them at all, especially since I'm staying here for the week, it's the least I can do." Autumn pushed the container to the other two mares so they could have theirs first, then retrieved hers from it as well. Biting into the chocolate an explosion of flavor hit her. It was creamy smooth, with a mix of white and dark chocolate blending together, and a slight hint of something else she couldn't put her finger on. It was an enjoyable dessert to match the meal they had just eaten.

The three mares sat at the table for another couple hours, talking away, learning more about each other than previously had been known. Autumn had her fair share of long ranting as the other two did, recalling past events giving laughs to break the ice with a splash. As the night drew on, Autumn became more tired, her eyes starting to slip, head bobbing up and down trying to stay in place.

"Looks like you're ready for bed there sleepy head. Why don't you get some sleep, you have work in the morning with me, so I'll wake you up." Cream pointing out the obvious need for sleep by the kirin.

"Alright Cream, I'll see you in the morning then." Autumn let out a big yawn, stretching her arms as high as she could. She trotted off to her room, turning off the lights, and closed her door. Slipping into her cot, she drifted off to dream land pretty quickly.

Autumn slept, the room dark, from the mirror crept out a smokey black mist, it shimmered with the sparkling of stars within it. Floating over the dreaming mare it slipped itself into her ear, coating her mind with its blackened tendrils. The hooks of the nightmare digging into Autumn.

A stallion stood in front of Autumn, standing at a doorway, he seemed to be bigger than her. Autumn felt smaller, like she was that of a foal, she couldn't move at all, she stared at that doorway, a loud bang went off, the stallion fell, in the doorway was a shorter stallion, gun smoking, his shadow blocked out any other details of him. Autumn screamed, trying to reach out, she didn't know why but she needed to.

In a flash, next she was back home, but this wasn't her home she remembered, the kirin were having orgies in the streets. Stallions, and mares, each making love in the public view, going from one to the other, Rain shine was strapped in the center of town taking stallion after stallion. Something was wrong, Autumn walked around trying to talk to them, no pony seemed to listen to her pleas. Walking to Rain Shine she saw a small sign that said, "The Traitor Who Sold Us All" burned into the sign, her horn was locked down by a shining ring, surpressing her ability to turn into a nirik.

Again the flash of light occured, this time Autumn was back at the McPones, but this time she wasn't being raped, this time she was asking the pones to fuck her. Watching herself being boned by stallion after stallion, with not a care in the world, telling them it was free, she wanted to be breed. It shocked her, the feeling of nothingness that she was, Autumn yelled at herself to no avail. She felt helpless, what was happening to her. Autumn curled up into a ball, crying into her own lap, wanting to stop all this, but she didn't know what she could do. The sound of a bang sent another flash of light out in her dream.

Bolting upright, Autumn felt her eyes wet with tears. A nightmare, nothing more than a bad dream after bad dream, twisting her reality. The bang happened again, but it was more distinct in direction, it was coming from the other side of the wall, where the entrance corridor was. Getting out of bed, Autumn didn't bother on slipping on her clothes, the girls did say there wasn't need for them after all, she made her way out to the kitchen. A little light was coming from the entrance hallway, towards the door that was closed before. She slipped out into the corridor, sneaking towards the door not wanting to make noise incase of an intruder.
