All these qualities are for naught, however, in the wake of sheer boredom amidst the stuffy nobles at yet another royal gathering. It'd be tolerable if Cadance were there, but without her, the whole affair is just nose turning and the hot air of egos unleashed. The lack of time with his wife also burns in the back of his mind; hardly wrong for a man to have strong desires for his wife, isn't it?
