It had only been open a few weeks but already the ‘traffic’ as Mags liked to call it was waning a little bit. She remembered on that first day that it had opened lines had stretched all the way down the street in Ponyville and out of sight of the store. Now though, it was easy to just walk in and get served in a few minutes. The food was good and the name of the place said it all really.
Rainboom Burgers
Started by a Wonderbolt so she heard that had trained under a rather famous blue pegasi, the story was they had more of a love for food than flying and took the name as a small tribute to their ex-teacher. Mags wasn’t sure that she liked the thought herself of having a fast food place named after something she did, for now she was just happy to enjoy the delicious food.
The burger selection was actually surprisingly good. They did a little more than just the usual hayburgers that other places seemed to have as a staple of their menus. Also the milkshakes here were to die for, so many delicious flavors that in two weeks of going she hadn’t even tried them all yet. As she walked through the door the grey unicorn observed her surroundings, not many customers due to the time of day which was pretty normal. There were a couple of lines going up to the registers, as she took her place there was a creature who looked a little out of place, even for Ponyville.
She thought back to the very few times she might have flipped through a species book at the library or some other place that had information on the more rare and exotic creatures of the world that were welcomed into the Equestrian realm. She was trying to catch short glances of him, she assumed it was a him judging on the looks. All she could surmise was that it was a cross between a dragon, alicorn and pony because he carried all the features of one seemingly rolled into one being. There was a horn for magic, thick wings that adorned his back and the body of a pony. The difference being was a thick, more elongated dragon like tail and whilst he was waiting in line next to her, a small hungry belch shot from his lips with a little fire too.
“Bwarp!”
Aside from that other features like paws instead of hooves were the only other thing out of place, he had a cutie mark but wasn’t quite sure what it made him good at. The multi colour star design was a little ambiguous. It wasn’t long though before the many attempted stealth glances she was making his way actually caught his attention.
“Sorry, is there a reason you keep observing me miss?” came the question.
“Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to stare. It’s just that you’re unusual. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pony...err...dragon? Um, let's just go with creature quite like you before in town.” she confessed, now she was looking at him as the line moved at least she could speak to him more frankly and take more note of him and his features.
“Don’t worry, I get it a lot. I’m not in town often, but I heard about this place and a friend recommended them to me. Have you been here much miss uh?” he asked, querying her name.
“Oh uh, Magna-Save, but Mags is fine.” she smiled. “Yes over the last two weeks I’ve made quite a few trips. What about you mister um…” she grinned back, returning an awkward smile not knowing his name.
“Blue Blaze. I know, I know - very fitting for what I am. But usually our names describe us perfectly right? Although I never heard of what a Magna-Save is…” he started to ponder. It was at that moment the ponies in front of them both finished their ordering and Mags and Blue had made it to the front, they had spent so much time chatting that neither had actually decided what they wanted off the menu.
“Hmmm, I guess I’ll have the er…” Mags started to say, frantically looking at the menu board. “Wait a minute, what’s that?” she asked, one item was much, much more expensive than everything else that adorned the menu. It didn’t take up so much real estate on it either, presumably because no one ordered it very often but it was there. “Why does it cost one hundred bits? That’s a heck of a lot for a meal, especially at a fast food place.” she asked.
The cashier explained that it wasn’t a meal, it was as many meals as you could stomach. For one flat fee you could eat as much food as the staff could bring you (the mare behind the counter taking special note to explain that it was the only table service they did) and you’d just keep eating until you wanted no more. Usually if ponies wanted to eat that excessively they’d spend that instead rather than just keep buying more food.
“This may seem a bit presumptuous seeing as we’ve only just met, but are you much of an eater Mags?” Blue asked, considering the option for himself.
“Well...I have been known to...heh. In fact I’ve basically been coming here all week for food. I’ve probably spent that much already on meals spread out over the time I’ve been visiting.” she mused.
“How do you fancy a friendly competition?” Blue asked. “I’m known to be a bit of an eater myself. It might be fun, plus I’ve got time to kill. Nowhere special I need to be anyway.” he said, before turning back to the cashier. “Yes one of those please, I’ll be sat over there.” he continued, pointing to one of the many free tables inside the building. “Care to join me?”
It didn’t take long for the greedy mare to consider her options. There was something about him that made her want to be a little spontaneous with the order. Like Blue Blaze she had nowhere special she needed to be today either. “Oh why the heck not. Same please and I’ll be sitting with him over there.” she said, putting a card through the machine to cover her payment and then turning to head over to the table Blue was already sat at.
“So what is this?” she asked. “Usually when I meet any creature they don’t straight up challenge me to an eating contest.” she smirked, a few burgers being brought out and placed on the table for them both to eat.
Blue picked one up and had already started to chew it down, it wouldn’t be long before his mouth was so full of food that he wouldn’t be able to respond so he figured he’d get some words in while he could. “Well, I suppose it’s a competition if you want it to be. Will you take the challenge?” he asked, licking the side of his lips and pushing another burger between them as he waited for an answer.
“You’re on, you know I hold the Ponyville record for most of the eating competitions in town right?” she replied, now moving onto some fries and one of those delicious shakes that the staff had provided as part of the deal.
“Oh I do know, actually I may have told a little fib before. I’ve heard tales of a unicorn who could eat like no other. I only had a description though. Grey coat, black mane with purple stripes and a ball shaped cutie mark with a zig-zag pattern coming off it. I was somewhat hoping you might be here, it was just luck you happened to stand next to me in line. I was going to order food and wait.” Blue explained, already onto his third of fourth burger rather quickly, a small fiery belch once more leaving his lips as he quickly chomped and chewed his way through the small mountain of food in front of him. As soon as a burger vanished, two more took its place from the kitchen staff. A small crowd was starting to form near the two as they watched them eat at an increasing rate.
“Well...tales are true I suppose. You may wish you’d never challenged me. This is nothing.” Mags laughed, pulled a few burgers her way and then rather quickly devouring them. Already she could feel her stomach bulging out and making the top she was wearing tighter, the jeans struggling to not stretch against her growing body. She could eat, but when she did eat like this boy did she start to see the side effects. It was happening to Blue as well, with every burger he was consuming and batch of fries he was gaining weight. That once slender slim belly he had was now pushing outwards against the table they were sat at, soft glorps and gurgles starting to emanate from it as more and more food was consumed. The two hardly were saying anything to each other at this point, just eating. This was a bit of an impromptu competition but Mags had never lost one yet, so she decided to go all out and really make sure the victory was going to be hers.
Blue Blaze however was doing just as she did, when Mags put a burger in her maw, so did he, as well as some fries. When Mags picked up a milkshake, he had one as well as a second and was sucking down two lots of it in one go. The two stared each other down, determined to out eat one another and be the biggest of the pair.
Mags felt her stomach push out from her now useless shirt which just about covered the top half of her press against the cold edge of the table. Leaning forward she felt her stomach blooorrrpppp as the shift in her body made her whole weight shift too. Her enlarging rear was starting to swallow the small stool she was sat at that was starting to buckle under the weight of her as metal creaked and strained to hold up the weight of the growing unicorn. No matter, she was sure it could take her weight…
CRUNCH, CLANG!
Or not, as the stool with only a single piece of metal to hold it up failed to even do that. The mare was just too big. Despite the fact that Blue seemed to be out-eating her she had a weight advantage going in, being bigger initially. However it wasn’t long before the stool he was sat at too gave up trying to support the massive weight being thrust upon it.
CREEEAAAAAKKKKKK, SNAP!
Blue’s chair actually bent so much and so quickly that the metal post snapped in half as it gave way, sending his now blubbery ass crashing down to the floor in one fell swoop that made his bloated buns jiggle for a few moments before coming to a rest.
“Phew...d-didn’t see that coming.” he confessed, looking around as the crowd cheered a little for the display of pure gluttony the two had put on.
“What, never bust a chair before?” Mags teased. “You really must be new at this.” she laughed. “Don’t let it stop you eating, come on this competition is just getting interesting.” she said, spurring him on to eat more. She knew what the next casualty would be for her with their continued growing sizes, but she’d save that fun for when they actually got there.
The burgers, fries and shakes continued to vanish inside the two. Each minute or so as well there was a shift in pace. As Mags ate more, Blue would increase his eating as well. A burger that took a minute to eat before was now taking ten seconds less, with the speed on consumption changing as they were getting further and further into the challenge. The customers watching were in awe of the sheer gluttony on display as the two stuffed themselves full of what should have been a totally impossible amount of food to consume.
There was a slight grunting noise from Blue as his gut pushed further into the table, the chair he previously was sat on was no problem anymore so he decided to push his body back a little further. Both of them did in fact, giving them more room to spread out into. Just one problem, the burgers being placed on the table were now out of reach of both of them. Both so big and fat that they couldn’t even reach pudgy arms forward to grab at the delicious food being brought out for them.
No matter, both were magic users. A quick levitation spell meant they could simply grab what they wanted out the air and bring it towards their waiting open mouth with ease. The kitchen staff somehow kept up the pace of churning out burgers. Nobody was ordering anything, a good thing too as all the staff and customers in the store could do was watch the immense display of almost animalistic eating going on before their eyes.
“Bwwwarrrrrrppppp!!!!”
“Urrrrraaaappppppp!!!!”
A couple of ear shattering belches ripped through the store as the two fouled the air with the noxious gasses that erupted from their mouths. Usually when Mags started belching, this was about the point that her pants started to give out too…
It took a couple more quickly devoured burgers, but she felt the first button came undone. She just breathed a small sigh of relief that this time, unlike a lot of times, she wasn’t so fat yet and the button so strong that it flew off her pants and hit some other creature causing them harm. In this case though her heaving gut just simply pushed her pants apart. The next bit however was as noticeable as it ever was.
Shrrippppppp!
The jeans split, right down the middle and came apart almost as if a knife had been run down the seams causing the pants to give way. The ripping sound however was rather audible as her fat ass and thunder thighs split from the confines of her clothes. She envied Blue a little, the creature wasn’t wearing much apart from some loose fitting pants that seemed to come apart without the same horrific ripping noises, still though she grinned at the look on his face when he realised that they had come apart and were now ruined. It didn’t stop him stuffing himself with food though, the two still growing larger and larger by the second.
Both now so greedy they were magically picking up burgers as soon as they were done from the kitchen and levitating it towards themselves, it was a little amusing at points. Their levitation magic would intersect and there would be a small magical tussle over the food item with one winning out, or giving up and going for a freshly prepared batch of fries or something else instead. The two were completely locked in competition against each other, neither giving out and with plenty more food to eat there were hundreds or perhaps even thousands of pounds to be gained.
It didn’t take much longer before the staff had to start clearing people out of the store, the two growing so large they took up much of the floor space and their massive bodies pressed against each other so tightly that they were in danger of hitting the ceiling in short order. Only the kitchen staff carried on, still somehow under orders to continue supplying the two jiggling fatties with an endless supply of food that they had paid for. In a moment of lessened but still frenzied eating, Blue managed to actually look his now triple chinned, utterly immobile opponent in the face. “R-Ready to give in...fatso?”
“Y-Yeah right...you c-clearly haven’t seen how fat this ass gets.” was all Mags replied, defiantly ignoring his words by pouring a monster helping of ice cream into her mouth whilst staring him down. Blue knew the challenge was just going to get even bigger from this point on.
There was a faint cracking sound emerging as the two felt their bodies start to press up against the walls. First there was a few noticeable shatters as glass broke as bulging bodies searched for places they could expand into. With multiple rolls pushing out of the building their titanic butts pressed firm against the wall, wedged so hard even any amount of jiggling was difficult but it was precisely that which was starting to make the walls give way as their growing glorping frames got larger...larger...larger. By now each weighed easily several tons and many thousands of pounds. If it weren’t for the magic they wouldn’t have been able to keep eating themselves to these sizes but they had it and were both taking full advantage of it. Their fat asses and jiggling bellies kept getting bigger, until finally they were both so big the building just couldn’t contain them anymore.
CRRUUNNNNNCCCHHHHHHH! BOOOOOOOOM!
A near explosion of sound shook around the area of town they were in as the walls split apart from the stress of trying to contain two blubber bodies that were just simply too large to keep confined to the building they rivalled. The kitchen decimated and the servers in there fleeing it meant the supply of food quickly vanished. The last of the burgers disappeared inside Blue. Licking his lips triumphantly he belched another fiery burp and grinned at Mags, who's head was just about visible inside her fat rolls.
“Hmmm, I make that I’m one burger ahead. Guess I win.” he said with a smug tone.
“Think again, that’s not the only place to get food in Ponyville.” Mags teased back, already Blue could see she was levitating goodies from buildings around her towards her, the food floating towards her at a rate quite unlike he had quite seen yet.
“Hey no fair! Well two can play at that game Plot Princess!” he yelled back, doing the same - searching out any food he could find in the local vicinity and grabbing hold of it with his levitation magic. He came across a bakery, some food carts. A nice change from the burgers, it was time to wash all that savoury food down with some sweet treats.
Not yet over and still locked in the battle of the biggest eating contest ever the two kept finding whatever they could around them to eat. The ruins of Rainboom Burgers was quickly lost under their ever expanding flab, Blue Blaze and Magna-Save determined that they would both be the victor there wasn’t much that could be done to stop their titanic eating contest.
“UUUUUURRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!”
“BBBBBUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!”
The two titanic combatants let go of the largest belches yet, with Blue’s accompanied by a gigantic jet of fire he just couldn’t hold back. It almost made him look like a giant fat jiggling fire geyser.
But neither were done eating, now starting to come level with the rooftops of the surrounding buildings they were both impossibly fat. If Blue could observe his size he would have, but all he could do was feel how large he was. Fat arms now useless, totally wedged inside his ball body that rippled and jiggled against him. The only thing he could really feel was what his gigantic wrecking ball ass was pushing into, as well as his multi-ton belly. He was sure the warmth he could feel was that of Mags pressing up against him. She was as soft and blubber as he was, as well as just as sloshy. With a little shift of his weight he felt his fat rolls slap against hers. It was rather lovely, not a feeling he had ever experienced before. He had eaten to excess sure but he had never quite gotten this large.
He was still searching with his magical tendrils of the levitation spell but was coming up short...hmm...no food there. None there either. Had they really run out so quickly? Darn. He was really starting to enjoy himself and his size. He felt his fat stomach give a small sigh of relief as he stopped ingesting food. Through what little he could see beyond his vast rolls, Mags had stopped too. It seemed that the places she had been grabbing food from had finally run out too.
“Bwaaarrrppp...s-so who wins!?” he said, belches permeating his speech. It seemed that both had grown so large, it was difficult to tell who had won the contest.
“I think we...uurrrpppp...both win. Never eaten so much…” Mags giggled back. “Gonna take me...buuurrppp...ages to get rid of all this…” she replied, observing just how large she was. “Oh dear, the store…” she carried on, observing that there was very little left of the only two week old fast food place.
“I’m sure they can...uraapppp!...build another one. Besides technically we didn’t all we could, they have to honour it.” Blue said, thinking about more food, greedy lips drooling a little. “I sure could go for seconds…”
“Mmmm, I could just go for all this…” Mags cooed, feeling what little she could of her gigantic gut with her spread bingo wing arms. There was so much of her, so much belly to enjoy. She could take huge greedy handfuls and flab and slosh it around easily, with her gut repaying her toying in kind by making satisfied blorping noises every time a roll of fat slapped against another.
Blue couldn’t help himself either, pressing a hoof forward gently into what seemed to be an endless belly bed of blubber that was making him blush deeply. So big, so soft, so warm. It was everything he imagined about this size and then even more. The fat layers felt amazing. They were hefty yet easily malleable and sooooooo satisfying to squish together. Every little press made him moan slightly in enjoyment. It was all he could keep from doing and reaching behind him to try to get to that ass mountain that dominated his backside, but he couldn’t even if he wanted to. His flabby arms were just nowhere in reach of it at all. Still though, he could feel it was there with a good jiggle, bouncy buns telling him that the gigantic rump was sitting just out of reach.
“You’re a good...urrrppppp...opponent Blue, perhaps one of the biggest challenges I’ve had.” Mags teased a little more. “We’ll have to...burrrppp...do it again sometime. Maybe outside though, I think they might be upset if we...bwaarrppp...destroy another store.” Mags said.
“Yeah, you’re...urraaapppp...right. I’m sure we can find somewhere just as satisfying. That was good, lets see if we can get bigger next time.” Blue replied.
“You’re on, and next time, I’ll beat you.” Mags cooed a final time.
“Hah, don’t be so sure blubber butt.” Blue said, giving her a little teasy insult back.
The two turned back to their immense bodies, having really gone at the challenge each were satisfied that they had achieved even if it meant no clear victor. The real victory came in their size, having pushed themselves to beyond that of a building. It was hard not to just enjoy all that never ending flab, a size so incredible that it was actually rather amazing they’d both got there. The only real side effect seemed to be an almost never ending series of belches and burps, but the two could live with that if it meant being as large, soft, plush and warm as they were. It felt like heaven and neither of the two massive immobile fatties wanted to give it up anytime soon. Another competition to see who could get bigger looked as if it was just beyond the horizon.
