After the somewhat tense encounter at Farpoint, the Enterprise begins the relatively easy task of charting the previously inaccessible Arcturian Sea. This gives many of the crew quite a bit of free time, including four in particular.

Luna attempts to bond with a former student of her sister, but finds her distant. Victor Stone gains the attention of a skilled alchemist, though not for the reason he expected. Leia tries to find out why her son, Ben, has been avoiding her. And finally, Tasha becomes the training partner of Undyne, who tries to unlock the former's magical potential.

The calm before the next storm begins.
