Twilight Sparkle, the possessed/normal princess of Friendship was already awake in her bedroom in her own castle. She was about to head back to bed, but then. She heard a knock on the door. She opened it, and she saw her lover, Fluttershy, the element of Kindness right outside her room. She was shocked and happy to see her friend there. Fluttershy smiled and whispered “Hi.” Twilight smiled and did the same as they both kissed each other at the doorway in the dark. After a while they calmly broke the kiss. Fluttershy had some exciting news for Twilight and she couldn’t wait a minute longer to tell her. Spike came in at the same time the two broke the kiss. He was tired. “Fluttershy?” He asked. “What time is it?” “Uhh, 9.” His sister said. She even hid the clock in the drawer just to make sure her assistant didn’t suspect anything suspicious. “But it's dark out.” the drake started to protest. “Well that's because you always sleep to noon, silly!” Fluttershy giggled to Spike. “This is what 9 looks like.” Nevertheless, Spike bought the excuse. “I guess I'll get washed up then.” He started to head into the bathroom. “Watch that sunrise.” “I'm really getting tired of sneaking around.” the Pegasus said. “We can’t just parade around like we’re the king and queen of Equestria. Pretty soon, everypony will suspect something’s up and we’ll have to reveal our secret.” “Well, our friends know.” Twilight said reassuring to her. Her lover shot her a glance. “I meant besides our friends...” she said. Just then, Twilight came up with an idea! “Hey! Y'know what if we went away for a whole weekend?” She asked her friend. “Y'know we'd have no interruptions and we could be alone the entire time.” Fluttershy beamed at that. “Oh, that’s the same idea I was having!” She said excitedly. “Great minds think alike. And All weekend? That's a whole lotta time to be alone!” She smiled at her lover who did the same. “Yeah, I can say that I have a class to teach at the school and you can say you have a thing at your sanctuary.” Twilight suggested to her. “We could make our friends think we’d be doing just what they’d THINK we’d be doing, JUST to shake things up!” “Ohh, I've always wanted to go to this special escape room that they have in Manehattan!” Fluttershy said excitedly. She and the others had done an escape room together, and they failed to beat the griffin record. However, she decided that this could be the first time they had done an escape room alone and for them to finally explore their relationship. “I’ve already got us packed.” She showed her friend all the baggage she had packed for this one occasion. Twilight was impressed by all this. She was ready to go on this weekend getaway with her friend so they could spend some time together! “Okay, y'know We’re all ready. So, Let's go.” She said. “Wait! What about Spike?” Fluttershy warned her friend. Luckily, Twilight opened the bathroom door and revealed that Spike was already passed out with a toothbrush in his mouth. The two looked at him and decided to have a good laugh about it. When morning finally arrived, the others were already there to have breakfast and the friends were so excited to have a good time with them before they left. When they finished their breakfast, Fluttershy made the announcement to her friends. “Hey, guess what I'm doing this weekend!” She told them. “I'm going to this escape room in Manehattan.” Her friends were all shocked by this. Applejack spoke up about this. “Oh weird, Twilight just told us she's got a teacher conference there!” Fluttershy was surprised as Applejack found out the their events were in the same city. She tried to cover it up. “Oh now that-that-that's funny, it seems like Twilight’s conference could've been in Ponyville or Las Pegasus.” She smiled sheepishly. “Hey, I'm not in charge of where the conference is held.” Twilight told Applejack. “Do you want Everypony to think it's a fake conference? It's a real conference.” Just then, Rainbow Dash had an idea of something she wanted to do with her friends. “Uh, girls...” she asked. “Is Discord here?” “No, he’s out shopping.” Fluttershy told her. “What's going on?” Twilight asked. She wanted to know why Rainbow was planning on spending time with Discord. “Darn!” The wonderbolt said in disappointment. “I told Starlight to come. And I just need to y'know, talk to Discord about it.” “Wait a minute!” Applejack started to object. “So when Starlight comes you're just, you're not gonna see US anymore?” She raised her eyebrow. “Well look, I'm just trying to focus on the "I get to see her” part, all right? And not the part that makes me forget you all are here.” She said to her. “Wow, so you guys are, you're never gonna be in the same room together, but try to juggle us and her around?” Twilight asked. “How is that even gonna work?” “I have no idea. I mean… But-but I assure you I will figure it out.” she said as she started to fly out of the castle. They all reflected on what Rainbow Dash just said, and Spike came in at the same time she flew out. “Doesn’t seem like it's going to work, I mean…” Spike started. “Hi, guys!” a voice said. The figure flew in and it was Cozy Glow! She was one of the friendship school students that defected to being evil and got put in Tartarus. She later joined Grogar’s team of baddies, but got defeated and turned to stone. However, after the mane 5 discussed things with Celestia, Luna and Discord, they released Cozy from stone and she was later a student of the mane 6 learning about friendship like Starlight Glimmer had been with Twilight. “Hi!” They all said excitedly to their friend. “What's going on?” she asked. “We're flipping Fluttershy’s mattress.” Twilight said a little nervous. “So I'm thinking, basically we pick it up and then we flip it.” Spike said in agreement to what they just said. “I think so, Darlings.” Rarity said in agreement. “Yeah that's better than my way.” They all headed over to Twilight’s room and flipped over her mattress. Cozy wanted her mattress flipped over too so she asked them. “Oh okay, hey guys, would you flip mine too?” “Aww, man!” Twilight said. She was worried that they would have to put their weekend getaway on hold, but just then, Cozy got a message from Spike’s fire breath. She read the message. “Oh look! A letter from Princess Celestia!” “So, Cozy, y'know-y'know how Starlight’s coming right?” The wonderbolt asked the Pegasus filly. She just blushed at her recent question. “Oh yeah! I know.” Rainbow Dash just smiled smugly as she knew that she knew that Starlight was coming today. Later, the two lovers and their friends got to the train station. The train was just about to leave when they were saying their goodbyes for now to their friends. “Here's a wrap, in case it gets cold.” Rarity handed the wrap to the two. “And I packed you a basket of nice fresh apples in case you get hungry.” Applejack added as she gave the apples to the happy couple. “Have a great time!” Cozy said to them excitedly. “Oh, we will. And I hope you have fun shopping.” Fluttershy said. The rest of the group blushed at that remark. The train was ready to take off. “All aboard!” The conductor said as the two got on the train. The train left the station as Fluttershy and Twilight both waved to their friends, knowing they would be back from their visit soon. “Goodbye!” Fluttershy called out. “Goodbye, everypony!” Twilight said. “Fluttershy! Twilight! I'll never forget youuuuuuu!” Pinkie said as she was chasing the train. She them noticed a balloon floating right by her. She had to chase it! “Ooh, something floaty! La-la-la-la-la!” she said as she chased the balloon. Meanwhile, Fluttershy and Twilight were already on their way to Manehattan! They had this vacation planned since Fluttershy confessed her love to Twilight, and they were ready to spend some time alone with each other and escape the stress back at Ponyville! They had a whole weekend planned for fun, and they knew just how to do it! Author's Note And that’s it! Fluttershy and Twilight have left for their romantic weekend getaway! Stay tuned to find out! //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 1 of The Vacation //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 1 of The Vacation Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle had arrived at their hotel in Manehattan! They had a great weekend planned and they knew just how to do it! When they arrived at their room, they were so excited! Not even Rainbow Dash, Cozy Glow, Starlight Glimmer, or Discord would’ve afforded great luxury or more than comfortable furniture like this! When they entered their room, it was like going into a whole new world. Both ponies couldn’t be more excited than ever to savour this one moment! “I can't believe it!” Twilight said as she was jumping on her bed with excitement. “We're here!” “Ooh, chocolates on the pillows!” Fluttershy squealed. “They don’t usually serve chocolates on our bed when we stay at a hotel in Manehattan! I love that!” “Oh, you should live with Pinkie Pie.” Twilight said, knowing that her friend LOVES sugar and chocolate and would want nothing else than that. “Roll-os everywhere.” “Come here.” Fluttershy said to her lover. Twilight did and they kissed. They broke the kiss and Fluttershy decided to get something for her friend. “Okay, be right back.” She went to the bathroom, while Twilight plopped on her bed and turned on the TV. She was excited to see that her favourite movie, “Stay Tuned” was on! She was especially loving the cartoon scene where the two mice were trying to evade a giant mechanical cat. She even laughed at the part where the American Gothic picture screamed and the mice hopped out of the picture while the cat just burned the house inside the picture. She wished Starlight was here to see this with her. She would have a good laugh with someone who not only loved movies like this, but also would love to go to other alternate realities where they were like this! “Oh yes!” Twilight said as she was watching the part where the mouse Roy Knable was trying to write a letter to get a mechanical dog to get rid of the Mecha-cat. “Fluttershy, get in here! There's a funny movie on! It’s ‘Stay Tuned’...my favourite!” At that point, Fluttershy came out of the bathroom, carrying a glass with some red smear on it. “We're switching rooms.” she told her. Twilight saw the glass and was shocked. “Oh Sweet Celestia, they gave us glasses!” She tried to shy away from the sight. “No, they gave us glasses with lipstick on them!” Fluttershy said frustrated. “I mean, if they didn't change the glasses, who knows what else they didn't change.” Twilight just glared at her. “Come on sweetie, I just want this weekend to be perfect, I mean we can change rooms, can't we?” Twilight felt that she could change rooms right now, especially since her movie had gone to commercial break. “Okay, but let's do it now though, because my favourite movie just went to commercial break!” She gathered her bag to switch rooms. “Boy, I hope my favourite movie is still on when we get to our new room!” She said. She really wanted to see that movie and hoped it would still be there when they got to their new room, hopefully. The hotel clerk showed them to their next room, and opened the door. “I think you'll find this room more to your liking.” he told them. “Okay, great.” Twilight said and turned the TV on to “Stay Tuned” and she made it to the part where the Knables were now French spies like on a French version of “Undercover Boss” and if they got caught, they would be guillotined. The hotel clerk caught sight of the movie, and watched it with her. “They say the Knables have got only got one hour left.” He said. “One hour?” Twilight said in disbelief. “We still got a lot of Channel-chasing chaos to do!” Just then, Fluttershy came back in the room. “We're switching rooms again.” she said to her lover. Twilight was shocked. “What? Why?” she asked. She wanted to watch more of “Stay Tuned”. “This is a garden view room, and we paid for an ocean view room.” she seriously said to her friend. “Our last ocean view room was unacceptable to you.” the hotel clerk tried to say to the Pegasus. Fluttershy rolled her eyes. She walked over to Twilight. “Excuse me, umm, can I talk to you over here for just a second?” she asked impatiently. “Uh-huh.” Twilight was still mesmerized by the movie that she didn’t even pay attention to what Fluttershy was saying. This, however, made Fluttershy more flustered and frustrated. “TWILIGHT!” She shouted angrily. The alicorn this time turned to face her while the movie went to commercial break again. “Yeah?” She asked her friend. “Look, these clowns are trying to take us for a ride and I'm not gonna let 'em! And we're not a couple of suckers!” Fluttershy said in frustration as they couldn’t find a perfect room that could work for their weekend getaway! “I hear ya, Helen!” Twilight said jokingly. “But look, all these rooms are fine okay? Can you just pick one so I can watch-I mean, have a perfect, magical weekend together with you?” Fluttershy just rolled her eyes in frustration as she wanted a good room but Twilight wanted to watch her favourite movie. The two had changed rooms yet again, and when they got there, they were finally at a room they liked. Twilight was eager to get back to her movie, so she turned the TV on to see if it was still on! “Okay, this one I like!” Fluttershy said with relief as they had finally found the perfect room for their weekend. “Nothing! It's over!” Twilight saw that the movie was over, and was ticked off at that. “Dammit! This is regularly scheduled programming!” “Can we turn the TV off? Okay?” Her lover asked as she flew over to her to get her attention. “Do we really want to spend the entire weekend like this?” “Oh, I'm sorry, am I getting in the way of all the room switching fun?” Twilight asked her friend snarky and a little angry that she had missed the rest of her favourite movie that she wanted to see. Fluttershy gasped. “Hey, don't blame me for changing rooms tonight!” She retorted back at Twilight. “Oh, who should I blame?” Twilight shot back. “The nice bell pony who had to drag out luggage to 10 different rooms?!” “I don't know, how about the idiots who thought they could drive from Sweet Apple Acres to Las Pegasus on a half a tank of gas! Oh, yeah!” She shot back as well. “THAT WAS FLIM AND FLAM!” Twilight was shocked at what her friend just said. So, she calmly spoke to her while her wings just sprouted up. “Do not speak ill of the dead.” “We're supposed to uh, be spending a romantic weekend together, it-it, what is the matter with you?” Fluttershy was still frustrated that Twilight wanted to watch a movie when they could be getting a fun weekend getaway together. “I just want to watch a little television.” She said calm and peeved. “What is the big deal? Geez, relax mom.” She said jokingly. “What did you say?” Fluttershy started to ask, pure rage brewing up in her voice. Twilight was now a little frightened at her friend’s anger, so she replied back calmly and nervously. “I said, ‘Geez, relax Fluttershy...’.” She giggled nervously. She had already spent the first few minutes of the weekend watching TV, but already, Fluttershy was getting mad at her! Twilight wanted to just switch over from watching TV to having fun with her friend. She wanted Fluttershy to be happy, and she did NOT want to see what would happen if Fluttershy got mad at her. Celestia forbid she was a little nervous to wonder if she DID step out of line! She did not want that to happen, that’s for sure! Author's Note And that’s day 1! I just HAD to! //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 2 of The Vacation //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 2 of The Vacation Fluttershy and Twilight had their vacation get off on the wrong foot, but this day would be different! The girls had organized a day of fun together, and what better way to start off their good note than an escape room? Ginger Locks was escorting them to their escape room. “Welcome to Manehattan Escapes.” he said in his bored tone. He showed them to their room! Twilight Sparkle was already excited. “Ooh!” She whooped excitedly. “It's because we get locked in a room and we have to solve puzzles and riddles in order to escape!” She was excited not because they had done this before, but they would get to have some fun together, like they wanted to! “The clues will lead you to a key to get out.” Ginger Locks said, revealing all the tasks to show them how to escape. Twilight was already excited because she shouted out “Team-building!” which not only startled Fluttershy, but made Ginger jump in fear. “Whoops.” She said apologetically. “My bad.” “It’s okay!” He said to her. “It’s not everyday I get enthusiastic participants in this escape room.” He smiled as he headed to his room. “...which makes my job a little better.” “Oh, Fluttershy! This is great!” She said to her friend. “Some of the brightest minds in Equestria put together these puzzles!” “Oh, Twilight. I’m just happy to be with you.” She said happy that they were going have some fun times together! She smiled. “A group of griffons set the record for the fastest escape.“ Ginger Locks told them. “It only took them an hour.” Twilight and Fluttershy were shocked, but it was nothing they couldn’t handle! “Hah!” Twilight said snarky and excitedly with her game face on. “Griffons barely like each other! My girlfriend and I are basically the poster ponies for amazing friendships! So get your quill ready, bub! You're gonna have to write down a new record!” Fluttershy just smiled and whoo hooed In agreement. Later in the mission, Fluttershy was cheering her friend. “Come on, Twilight! You rock! Whoo hoo!” Twilight had just inserted the gem into the space needed. “Okay! Do we need a purple jewel?” She asked. “Um...I think you mean plum or boysenberry.” Fluttershy suggested. “Don’t those fruits BOTH mean purple?” Twilight asked her friend. “It doesn’t matter! I got the purple jewel in and solved another clue because our friendship is so true!” Fluttershy beamed with excitement as she cheered with pride! “Whoo hoo!” Later on, The two were still trying to fix the whole escape room when they got to another hard task. Fluttershy needed some help. “Uh, Twilight, can you help me, please?” she asked. Twilight responded by moving the bricks, revealing the symbols that her friends used when they were in the friendship retreat! She put them in, and they finally got the key to get out! Fluttershy was ecstatic! They had finally managed to get the escape room solved and by themselves without a hitch! She snatched the key from the area. “I got the key!” She cheered. “This is it! I'm so impressed.” “I'm not.” Twilight said, full of confidence from the latest escape room attempt. “I knew we were the best!” They both cheered to celebrate their latest success! Twilight had never been more prouder that they have gotten the mission done more quickly than they could’ve with their friends. She turned to her friend and lover. “I wish that our friends were here to see how strong friendships can be when we trust each other and work together!” She said with true courage in her voice. “You've taught me so much, Fluttershy.” Fluttershy just blushed. “Oh, um...Thank you, Twilight.” She smiled. “That was lovely.” Ginger Locks said from his office room. “But, um, you know the game isn't over until you turn that key?” “Gah!” Twilight said as she rushed over to get the key and insert it and turn it. “How did we do?” “So close.” He said, “You both missed the griffon record by two seconds again. Probably shouldn't have Given your girlfriend a sentimental speech.” Twilight was shocked as she and her friend had just missed the record again! She got up and whimpered. “What?!” She asked in shock and horror. “We missed the record again?!?!” She shouted in shock at the top of her lungs, “Our record?? OUR RECORD?!?!” She screamed so loud, it reached all the way to Rockefeller Center and beyond all the way to Baltimare! It caught the attention of everyone In Manehattan! Heck, even Ross Geller could hear it! “I’m afraid so.” Ginger Locks said in disappointment. Twilight was disappointed too as her chance to shine with her friend and lover and the chance to beat the griffin record had just been ruined again. “Aw, nuts!” she said in anger. Twilight and Fluttershy both got back to their room and were in a state of dejectment and anger. Twilight was the most angry as she got on her bed and almost popped it when she sat on it. She was really that mad. “Damn Rollos!” Twilight had shouted in anger, because of the recent moment they just had. “Yeah. Umm, Twilight can I talk to you outside for a second?” Fluttershy asked. She wanted to comfort her lover in the best time possible, even if she really was that mad. “Sure!” Twilight said, still feeling a little angry. “I’ve got nothing else to do!” She went outside her room, and went to go see Fluttershy. Her lover was ready to express her emotions in the best way possible, even if it was a bad moment. “Oh, that escape room today was just awful.” She screamed in her usual manner. Then, she got back to speaking. “I guess some people just don't appreciate really slow ponies.” She giggled in this case because in times like this, you really just had to giggle. “Well, maybe it was the kind of food that tasted good at first but then made everybody vomit and have diarrhea.” Twilight jokingly said because she knew that in the escape room, they didn’t have the kind of food that tasted so good, that the next minute they barfed. “Twilight!” Her lover shot out. “Fluttershy!” She shot back. Then, both of them looked at each other and laughed for a moment because they knew as much as we all did, that moment was pretty pointless. Back at the Castle of Friendship, Rainbow Dash and the others were continuing to hang out! They were just about to printed blow some boogers with sticky string, when Rainbow got a call on the phone T the castle. “That call must be for me!” She said. “I’ll be right back!” She flew over to the phone while pinkie got ready blow her “boogers!” “Alright, girls!” The party mare said. “This is going to be the best booger ever that it even makes the booger beast look like a joke!” “Do it! Do it! Do it!” They all cheered. And Pinkie did so, by blowing some silly string all over that it nearly engulfed everyone in the room. Normally none of them would allow this, but since they were just having fun. They thought, “why not?” They all cheered at Pinkie’s latest booger creation. Rainbow Dash was already by the phone when she answered it. “Hello?” She asked. She then realized who it was. “Oh, Hi Twilight! How you doing?” She listened in on the girls latest experience on their vacation and how they failed to beat the griffin record again. “What?!” She asked in shock. “You didn’t beat the griffin record again?! I can’t believe this! Oh....oh...oooohhhh....wait what? Okay, I’ll get down to it. Goodbye.” She hung up and flew back to her friends who were just about to do another funny hilarious booger stunt. “Hey, girls? That hotel just called. Said something about Rarity leaving an eyelash curler in her room.” Rarity who had noticed all this was shocked. “What? What?! I would never leave an eyelash curler in a hotel room, Rainbow Dash! That is very uncouth!” “ 'Cause I figured Twilight hooked up with some guy and he’d left it there.” Rainbow Dash continued. Starlight seemed to notice and somehow wondered how Twilight could fall for a stallion like that. She assumed something. “Yes that would have made more sense.” she said to her friend. “Y'know, I-I don't even feel like I know our friends anymore!” Rainbow said in frustration. “All right, look, I'm just gonna ask you this one time. And whatever you say, I'll believe ya.” The friends turned to Rainbow Dash to listen and were all ears. “We’re listening.” Cozy Glow said to them. The others nodded as well. “Alright.” Rainbow Dash said as they were ready to hear the shocking question their wonderbolt friend was about to ask them. “Were they, or were they not on a gay cruise?!“ Her friends were all shocked the Rainbow Dash asked such a question. They didn’t know how to respond, and they sure didn’t know what to say about something like that. Rainbow Dash wanted to know so badly and she was Ted to know what was going on with their friends too...perhaps, all would be revealed when Twilight and Fluttershy got home and revealed what secret they had about themselves that could change their relationship. Inside the hotel, Fluttershy and Twilight were resting in bed together, despite the tough times they had on their vacation with switching rooms, and losing the griffin record again. Fluttershy slowly awoke as she got up to start the new day. She stretched and yawned after her sleep. Twilight was still zonked out in bed. Fluttershy looked at her lover and smiled. “Morning, Twilight.” She said, smiling. Twilight finally awoke, her eyes slowly creaking awake. “Morning, Flutters.” She said groggily. “You know, despite the griffin record being standing and the fact because we had to switch rooms, all because you wanted to watch TV, I think we still had a good vacation, Don’t you think?” The kind Pegasus asked the alicorn. “Uh, Huh.” Twilight replied, still sleepy. “I think so too.” Fluttershy started to head over to the bathroom to get to the phone to call someone. “Twilight,” she asked her lover. “Would it spoil the mood if I called home, you know, just to check on our friends?” “Mmmmmm....” Twilight said sleepy. “Go ahead, do what you want.” Fluttershy dialled the number to the castle of Friendship, where their friends usually hang out, when she got no signal or no answer from the phone, she got worried. She hung up the phone. “Twilight, wake up!” She said urgently. “There's no answer at home.” “So?” Twilight asked, now starting to wake up. “So, I'm worried.” Fluttershy told her. “I think we should go home.” She got ready to get her things and get ready to leave the hotel. “All right.” Twilight said, now fully awake and ready to get herself out of bed and out of the hotel. “I suppose my work here is done.” She hopped off the bed, and packed her luggage and got ready to leave the hotel, along with Fluttershy, who was already ready to head out and head to Ponyville as well. They were making their way through the lobby when the bell pony was about to give them the bill. “Uh, ladies? Here’s the bill for...” “There's no time!” Twilight said as she rushed past the pony and snatched the bill from his magic. They managed to run so fast, that they ran past the buildings, past the taxis, and all the way to the train station. When they got there, however, they found out that their train had left already. “Oh, no! We missed it!” Twilight said with worry. “But maybe...” she used her magic to get her and her lover on the train. “Okay. We're on the train. Everything should be fine, right?” She asked her friend. “I think so.” Her friend said. “Gosh, do you think we got everything together before we left? I mean we did leave in such a hurry.” “Don’t worry, Fluttershy.” She said. “I know we left in such a hurry, but knowing what we packed, everything should be just alright. Besides, what else is there to worry about?” She smiled at her lover and she smiled back. She was right. Nothing could possibly go wrong. What could spoil their one moment of happiness? Fluttershy took notice the bill they snapped on the way out and wanted to see how much their total tally was. “Okay, I'd like to know how much the room was because I'd like to pay my half.” she said to her friend. Twilight took a look at the bill and was shocked at what she saw. She turned to Fluttershy, nervous, but was ready to tell her, despite how much the tally costed them. “Okay, fine.” She said. “$300.” Fluttershy was now shocked at this, because she didn’t realize all the room switching would cost them more than they expected! “300 dollars?!” she asked in shock. “Yeah.” Twilight said nervously to her lover, who was now just getting angry at how much that cost her. “Just think of it as $25 per room!” Fluttershy just groaned in anger, and hid her face in her hooves. Twilight did the same. They didn’t want to talk to each other for a few minutes, but after a while, they looked at each other and laughed because like we all know...it was pointless in this situation. Once that cleared up, Fluttershy decided to change topic. “Do you think our friends are worried about us?” Fluttershy asked. “I really hope they had as much of a fun time as we did! Celestia alone knows how they’re worried about us or not.” She was worried if their friends even cared if they had a good time on their vacation. Twilight, however, was thinking the same thing too. At the Castle of Friendship, Rainbow Dash and the others were having a good breakfast and a good game together, and it turns out, they weren’t even worried about how Twilight and Fluttershy’s vacation went. In fact, they seemed to be just fine with it. Rainbow Dash was ready to bring out more pancakes for her friends to enjoy. “Who wants some more pancakes, Everypony?” She asked. Everypony all raised their hands, saying they wanted some more. Rainbow handed them their shares, however, Pinkie gobbled hers up before everyone else could start on theirs. “Oh, Golly.” Cozy Glow said. “I know we had some fun, but...are you sure Twilight and Fluttershy have had a fun vacation?” “Oh, I’m sure of it, Cozy!” The wonderbolt said. “I’ll bet they went to someplace really awesome, like...” just then, she noticed the two mares heading up the doorway to the castle. She was excited. “Hey girls! Twilight and Fluttershy are home!” This made everyone spit out their pancakes. “They are? It does seem rather...sudden for their moment.” Rarity said. “Ah can’t believe they were gone for such a short time.” Applejack said, and then realized that they said they would only be gone for the weekend. “Then again, they DID say the weekend.” “Oh, wow!” Discord said with glee. “Fluttershy’s home! Maybe she and I can have another one of our tea parties!” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes while smiling. Knowing Discord and Fluttershy, they would probably have another tea party...maybe even tell him how their vacation went, if she was okay with it. She opened the door and was surprised to see the two lovers tired, and their manes messed up, like they had been through a lot. Heck, even Twilight looked like she’d been through a lot like when she went on the train with her friends, to get to her coronation in time. “Hey, girls!” Rainbow said, trying to keep it cool. “How did your vacation go?” “Two words...” Twilight said to her loyal, yet awesome friend. “Total...failure.” Her lover nodded in agreement. “Oh...” Rainbow Dash said, a little disappointed, but calm enough to understand. “...did you girls have a good time? Are you okay?” “We did, and we are...but we need some time to rest.” She said as they both slowly went to Twilight’s room in her castle. Rainbow Dash was confused but seemed to understand that they were both tired and could use some rest and relaxation after their trip back home. In Twilight’s room, both mares lay tired and outstretched on the bed. They were so tired from all the things that went wrong on this trip...the room switching, Twilight wanting to watch TV, failure to beat the griffin record...they didn’t know what to say. Finally, Twilight managed to say something to her friend, who was still tired, by the way. “Hey.” She said, slowly, tiredly getting up from her bed. “So that weekend kinda sucked, huh?” “Yeah, it did.” her kind Pegasus friend said, still tired and laying on one the chairs in the alicorn’s room. “So, I guess this is over.” she calmly said to her friend. This made Fluttershy shocked as she quickly shot up like a bottle rocket and went right to Twilight. “What?” she asked in shock and horror. “Well, y'know, you and me, it had to end sometime.” the alicorn said sadly. “Why, exactly?” Fluttershy was still confused and she wanted to know why her friend was wanting to end their relationship already, even when it was starting to open up. “Because of the weekend.” Twilight said dejectedly. “We had a fight.” Fluttershy couldn’t believe her ears! Twilight Sparkle, the princess of Friendship ending their relationship just because of some silly fight?! She had to talk some sense in her! She got her attention. “Twilight that's crazy!” She objected. “If you give up every time you'd have a fight with someone you'd never be with anyone longer than...” just then, she realized something about opening up her feelings about her possessed/normal princess friend. Twilight realized it too, as they both knew now what it meant. “Ohhh!” They both said in realization. “So, this isn't over?” Twilight asked, the sadness gone from her voice and hope rising up in her body. Fluttershy smiled at her friend and giggled at her to tell her it was alright. “You are so cute!” She said lovingly to her friend. “No. No, it was a fight. You deal with it and move on! It's nothing to freak out about.” “Really?” Twilight asked her. Fluttershy just nodded. She smiled at her, knowing that this fight with them over the weekend all worked out, and they were past the arguing stage. “Okay. Great!” She went over to kiss her. “Ohh, welcome to an adult relationship!” Fluttershy said as she went over to kiss her. Twilight stopped her, was now shocked as her eyes slowly widened and her wings slowly went up. “We're in a relationship?” she asked her friend. Fluttershy smiled at her. “I'm afraid so.” she said to her lover. “Okay.” she smiled and the both kissed each other, and embraced themselves in a warm hug. They may have had some bumps in the road of their vacation, but at least they managed to work it all out. However, not all things could stay a secret as Rainbow Dash, one of their friends suspected something when she noticed they came back tired from their vacation. But they wouldn’t be nervous about it. They would have to reveal their secret sooner or later. But they knew it would be okay, because that meant they wouldn’t have to keep leaving their friends in suspense and everypony would know. They would be ready to reveal their secret when it was time. Author's Note And that’s all, folks!
