The Night Shift

Another week had gone by. Another long, aimless, contentless week for a certain pirate captain. James Hook (OK, I'll call him Jimmy once more) sat forth in his room, looking at a screen. He was not one day an office, nor was he axed for help by anybody. The day was indeed very quiet, and Jimmy sighed as he looked up. He was faced with one of the most difficult decisions of his days.

Whether to run a 4-8-2 or a 2-8-4. On net, he would have the exact same number of wheels irrespective of which arrangement he chose, but that was besides the point. One ran considerably better backwards, whilst the other did not as the fewer number of wheels at the front was directly proportional to the likelihood the engine had of derailing. However, given the fact that Trainz was never massively realistic, this was less of a concern, given that A4 pacifics could go up perfectly vertical gradients, or old railbuses could pull trains weighing more than 1000 tons when in real life they could barely pull themselves along. The derailments themselves were unrealistic. Hitting buffers would cause the engines to go flying into the air which looked stupid.

"What to decide?" he thought to himself. It briefly occured to him that non railway enthusiasts reading the above would have absolutely no clue what was being discussed, but did that really matter? They were automatically haters, and thus to be completely ignored. Jimmy close to shut the simulation instead, as he needed more time to think about that critical and important and mighty and complex question. More cogitation was required, and as such Jimmy decided to do something else. Such as perhaps Roblox. Perhaps Roblox was, of course, different to Roblox, but both were equally uncreative, basically being LEGO bricks on the internet. BORING!

As he made his way upstairs, his eyes happened upon something on the landing, and at that moment realised he didn't live upstairs anymore. Ever since his home had been blown up in the Great Disaster of October, he had lived on the bottom floor of a different property, and not in a basement as some would have you believe. Anyhow, we are getting somewhat off the story, and as he moved toward another room within the place he called home, his eyes glanced over an object that was sitting on the floor. It was a garment that was lying on top of his dry cleaning. Due to a faulty fuse, his washing machine had exploded, and not his wishing machine. Whilst he was getting a new one shipped, he had been using the local dry cleaners, as the wet cleaners had gone out of business. Sitting in the pile (which he still hadn't gotten around to cleaning up and hanging up), he suddenly spotted the garment in question.

It was a purple polo shirt, with a white collar and a deep purple crescent moon emblem set into the collar itself. "That is not mine," he said, and glanced closer at it. "Heavens know I know not to touch this stuff, anyways."

Seconds later, the room was plunged into black, the curtains shutting and the lights failing completely. "Brilliant!" he snapped. "First the washing machine, now the lights! How much stuff here needs fixing? The last thing I'd need is that garment appearing on-"

Seconds later, the lights came up again, and the garment had replaced his usual shirt, but joined by a deep purple belt with a silver buckle making it somewhat tight against his considerable bulk. "Well, shit."

There was a great flash of light (and not of anything else), and his pants reshaped, with the zip going away, but nothing else happening to them. They remained the same length as his shoes reshaped into a pair of the weirdest heels he had ever seen. They were white with purple trim, and curled upwards in an odd manner, with small heels sticking out of the bottom. It was a miracle they didn't snap off.

"That was the most mundane first stage I've ever seen," he sighed, as his hair turned to contrasting shades of dark blue and a somewhat purple shade from his previous brown color. This then grew in length to create some hair that fell down below his rear. His face was compressed and forcibly reshaped into the face of a certain uptight Vice-Principal, a process that could clearly observed in the window nearby (how nobody outside could see what was going on was anybody's guess). This was soon followed by his skin going a light blue. Not quite the shade he wanted, but that was OK. His shoulders were forced together and his chest blew up into a pair of breasts. His gut was sucked in, and layers of fat and muscle melted off like wax. This was soon followed by his neck compressing, a certain front feature choosing to leave forth, and soon his hips expanded to a more womanly build. Not long after that, something certain else joined the other feature in oblivion, replaced by the female counterpart, and her legs noticably slimmed down as the process finally finished at her feet, her feet reducing in size fairly noticably. Did I forget to mention the clothing adjusted in size as well while her glasses also vanished forth as well, which of course she didn't need them given that she could see more clearly?

Moments later, Luna found herself outside her office. It was very dark inside, and as she pushed open the door, she saw Twilight Sparkle sitting there, who looked nervous. She was looking at some photographs, which Luna had been given by Sunset earlier. "But... But I don't understand!" she heard Twilight say.

Luna raised a hand to stop her from talking any further. "This is clearly you in the photographs, is it not?"

Twilight frowned. "Yes, but..."

Luna interrupted again. "I think it should be fairly obvious that the school cannot let someone who would do something like this compete for the Fall Formal crown."

Just then the door opened. It was Flash. "Vice Principal Luna," said he. "I found these in a trash can in the library. Thought you should see them. Someone obviously combined these photos to make it look like Twilight was the one who trashed the gym."

Luna thought for a moment, clicking in that moment how this constituted a massive plot hole. "I appreciate you bringing these to my attention, Flash," said she. She then turned to Twilight. "In light of this new evidence, you may of course continue your bid to be crowned the Princess of the Fall Formal. " She waited for them to speak for a bit. "I am afraid enough damage has been done to the gym that we will have to postpone the dance until tomorrow night. If you will excuse me, I need to let my sister know about this latest development." She got up, and left the incredibly dark room, where it was night outside, and went into the staffroom, where she saw Cheerilee trying to complete some more marking and helping herself some coffee.

"Good evening, Luna," Cheerilee smiled as best she could despite her frustration.

"Good evening, Cheerilee" Luna answered. "Pray tell, have you seen my sister anywhere?"

"In her office, I think," Cheerilee replied. "But she may be a bit busy. Heaven knows the CMC have been causing me enough chaos this last week."

"I fear this is simply the calm before the storm," Luna replied, and headed out to find Celestia.

Author's Note

So this was my transformation into Vice Principal Luna. Not quite a long and detailed one I know, but my editor is dealing with Writer's Block for this week. ^^; :twilightsheepish:

So anyways, the appearance of EG Cheerilee (aka near Late February 2019 me) and the events that she mentions is from one of my previous stories from last year: Three Smiling Flowers. Link to it can be found down below:
