The Gorgon, a magical race of large pony like creatures, said to have the upper body of a large unicorn mare, and the long, large, and powerful lower body of a serpent.
In the myth it was said that the father of monsters, Grogar, was the one to have created them with his magic.
The description in the myth, said that their pony upper half was unnaturally beautiful and alluring, making it hard to look away from them.
They had slit snake eyes and their mane's were made of numerous snakes of various sizes and lengths.
Their teeth were razor sharp and they had large snake fangs, capable of biting, tearing, crushing, and piercing some of the toughest materials.
They were said to be extremely powerful, venomous, were extremely tough, strong, and very resistant to magic.
The stories about them said they could turn anything they looked at to stone, rock, or metal, and had ravenous appetites.
They were said to be able to easily swallow prey several times bigger than they were, and could easily make a meal out of a pony.
They were said to have a habit of collecting treasure like a dragon, and the petrified victims that they did not eat
It was suspected they had retained the hoarding nature of a Dragon, due to the dragons part in their creation.
Either because they took an interest in them, or because they planned to save them to have for a future meal.
They were said to be cold, cruel, heartless, and uncaring, inspiring fear to any that saw them, a monster to be avoided at all cost.
Much to the dismay of a certain Gorgon, her name was Medesa Stonescale, ironically, despite being made by Grogar, she wanted nothing to do with him.
It was not told in the legend, but it was Medesa, who told Gusty how to take Grogar's bell from him and defeat him.
The reason for why it was not recorded, was because Medesa did not want Grogar to know it was her who had a hoof in his downfall.
After Grogar's defeat and banishment, Medesa traveled to the far southern parts of Equestria, finding a home deep in the Forbidden jungle.
Later she came into contact with the natives, ponies, griffons, and others races adventuring into the jungle.
When she saw them, she approached them trying to be, but they fled at the sight of her, terrified of her appearance.
Which lead to her being labeled and seen as a monster, and feared hunted by many monster hunters came after her,
Many had tried to take or put out her eyes, cut her head off before with enchanted weapons and bombs, she had the scars to prove it.
But none ever came close to besting her, and those who attacked her met the same fate,
being eaten or petrified and added to her collection.
Though she would always try to be friendly first, and try to show she was not a monster, though sthry always ran away from her.
Long ago, early morning in the depths of the forbidden jungle.
"I think we're getting close to where the temple should be, be on guard we don't know what we're liable to run into." Starswirl said while keeping track of their position on his old map.
They had been traveling deep into the uncharted territory of the forbidden jungle. Where few ever ventured, and where many exploration parties, monster hunters, poachers, and treasure hunters had disappeared.
News of a mythical monstrous creature, created by the of Monsters Grogar, had been brought to their attention.
The reports from those that encountered it were alarming, the description of the creature was frighteningly close to one of Grogar's most feared monsters.
" Are we sure this creature is involved in the disappearances and attacks, it could just be a coincidence. " Somnambula said as she landed beside him.
"We don't know for sure, unfortunately there are many unknown and dangerous creatures in these jungles." Meadowbrook said as she looked around the jungle brush.
"Hey, you all need to see this! " Magnus yelled, spotting something while he was scouting a little bit ahead.
As they hurried to where Magnus was calling from, they stopped in their tracks by the sight of what they saw.
There were numerous statues of various creatures, many statues placed all around the area at various distances between each one.
" It seems the tales of the reports were true." Rockhoof said grimly as they looked around.
Numerous statues lined the area, Ponies, Griffons, Diamond dogs, Cat folk, timber wolfs, dragons, and many more.
All were made of polished light grey white stone stood throughout the area, all of them were in various poses of mid attack.
What was the most startling part of them was how detailed and "life like" they were, perfectly capturing their last moments.
"These must be those who encountered the creature before, or at least some of them. " Starswirl said dryly, taking a closer look at them.
" Can you do anything for them Starswirl? " Mistmane asked with concern as she looked to the sorcerer.
"I will try, stand back." Starswirl said as he lit his horn, casting an analysis spell on one of the statues.
"Hmm, this is just as I feared." Starswirl said darkly, a stern expression visible on his face.
"What is it Starswirl?" Somnambula asked, noticing the aged stallion starring at the statue.
"This magic is more than a spell, it's a powerful curse, similar to a Cockatrice. There's no doubt now, this is the work of a Gorgon. " Starswirl said grimly, wishing he was wrong.
" Hey I don't think these are explorers, their gear is all wrong." Magnus said, flying and examining each statue.
"Your right, their equipment is not what you'd find an explorer to have in the jungle. " Starswirl said, examining the statues gear.
All the statues had on clothes meant for camouflage and armour, they also carried weapons that could do serious damage.
From swords, crossbows, spears, spear guns, and thick chain net launchers, all heavily enchanted and made of magical metals.
" Wait isn't that Gem Eye, the infamous monster hunter and poacher. " Meadowbrook said shocked, pointing to the statue of a Griffin with a large ruby for a right eye, wearing a tooth necklace of large fangs.
The wanted Griffin criminal was petrified in a pose of mid squawk, pointing his oversized metal crossbow high up in the air.
"Yes it is, no wonder him and his crew of poachers haven't been seen in over 3 years, I assumed they had been apprehended by the authorities. " Starswirl said, having a hard time feeling sympathy for the ruthless poachers.
" Even the mightiest can fall, we must be careful. " Rockhoof said, looking at a statue of a large armoured dragon, wielding a massive spiked maul in a mid swing pose.
" Are those weapons and nets made of mythril, were they hunting the creature!?" Meadowbrook exclaimed, horrified by the thought.
" This changes things Starswirl, if they came after it, this means that the creature was defending itself. " Somnambula said, seeing things from the other side.
"It would seem so, but there have been reports of the creature coming closer and closer to villages. It's only a matter of time before somepony gets hurt, or worse, like them." Starswirl said, looking at the statues around them.
" After that we stop the creature, we may be able to figure out how it uses it's magic, and lift the curse." Starswirl said as he looked at his map.
.
Deep in the forbidden jungle
Ruins of the Temple of Sol Luceat
In the courtyard of the massive sun themed temple, sweeping the leaves, dirt, and dust with a large broom was Medesa the Gorgon.
held in her dark lavender magical grip was Medesa the Gorgon.
She was humming a pleasant tune to herself and to the birds and other animals that visited her residence.
"Huha, finally done cleaning the leavesss, I'm going to have to make a new brusssh for the broom tomorrow. There are alwaysss leafsss to be cleaned up. " Medesa said, looking at the large worn out brush of her broom.
She had a very young appearance and a gentle voice with a slight scratchy tone, and a hissing sound could be heard whenever she spoke certain words.
Medesa was a Gorgon, the only one of her kind, as far as she knew. Her pony upper body looked like a beautiful unicorn mare with light copper brown fur with a hint of gold.
Her horn was honey gold and her eyebrows were made of scales like a dragon and were also honey gold.
Her pony half looked like a normal mare, but was very large in size and stature, instead of the forelegs of a pony, she had the arms of a dragon.
She had dragon paws, neither nine inch white claws, and had large scales all the way up to her shoulders.
When standing on her dragon paws, she stood at 9ft tall and was 2/3rds longer than Celestia.
Her snake half stretched 9 meters long and 5 feet wide, her scales were black dark brown with honey gold splashes.
Her underbelly scales were gold with the black edges, and her eyes were amber gold with black slit pupils.
Her mane was made of snakes, with dark honey gold scales, and eyes that were gold with red slits.
They were styled in a short shaggy spiked up hair style ( Vinyl Scratch hairstyle). They had the appearance of a cobra and a viper, with the body thickness of a python.
She could see, hear, and sense through her mane of snakes, giving her 360 degree vision and hearing.
Her cutie mark was stone frame with a high relief, made of various colored gems, depicting a picture of a beautiful waterfall under the night sky.
She had numerous small light and deep scars around her eyes and on her eyelids, as well as several
large light and deep slash scars around her neck.
The scars on her neck were covered by a thick, large, interact enchanted gold metal collar, with a citrine gem encrusted in it to protect her neck.
She also wore a thick, large, interact rudy encrusted gold cuff on each of her wrists and armbands on her forearms.
Long ago she had made a home in the ruins of the old temple deep in the jungle. Overtime she had renovated it to her taste and fixed it to accommodate her size.
She accumulated a lot of statues that were placed around her territory and home ,some she made herself, while others were those that had attacked her.
Though she fed on the wildlife of the jungle, sometimes she made snacks out of those that attacked or tried to kill her. If they didn't attack her she was friendly to those she meet.
" Now I need to finisssh making a few more rain catcher jarsss, it'sss probably going to rain sometime tonight." Medesa said as she tasted the air with her long forked tongue.
Suddenly, she felt a magical signal from her proximity wards, alerting her that some creatures had entered her territory.
"Huha, intrudersss again, did they not sssee the ssstatuesss I placsssed there? " Medesa said tiredly with a hint of annoyance. Pausing her swiping and looked in the direction of the disturbance.
"Well, it hasss been a long time sssince I've had an opportunity to talk to anycreature, other than Ahuizsssotl. "
" Though he doesssn't visssit me often, I wisssh he would, it getsss very lonely without sssomecreature to talk to." Medesa thought as she propped the broom against a wall.
" At leassst he trussstssss me to protect thisss temple'sss artifact. " Medesa said, looking at the large rune engraved sun shaped amber jewel, called the gem of Sol, that hung around her neck on a gold chain.
Medesa normally lived a solitary life, but not by choice, she lived so isolated because she wouldn't be attacked or hunted down by the others.
Though she did grow tired of being alone most the time, when she came across others, she was eager to meet them.
But despite her are efforts to be friendly, all those that she encountered, either fled from her or attacked at first sight.
" I guesss I ssshould go meet them, maybe they're only here to see the temple, or for the treasssure. "
" I wouldn't mind ssshowing them the relic, hopefully they'll be friendly." Medesa said with a sigh as she slithered off to greet the intruders.
"Their poniesss, and there sssix of them, coming from the northwesssst, their not heavily armed, and are moving at a normal pacssse, heading ssstraight to the temple. "
" Sssso their not lossst, maybe thisss time will be different. " Medesa thought with hope, looking at the pillars heat signatures from a far as she made her way to them undetected.
She slithered through the forest, covering hundreds of feet in just minutes with out making even a sound or leaving any trace of her passing through.
Only the moment of the leaves gave anything away that something was there, thanks to her unique body and magic.
Even with her large size she could move unseen, even in an open area, thanks to her ability to turn invisible and mute the sound of her moments.
As she neared them, she watched them from 200ft away, getting a better look at them and planned her next move.
"Hmm, I think I'll jussst casssually approach them and sssay hi, though I doubt we'll be able to underssstand each other. "
" But that ssshould ssshow them I'm not hosssstile." Medesa thought as she worked up the courage to approach the group of ponies.
"Okay, remember to be assss non-threatening assss posssssible, you can do thisss you've practicsssed over and over." Medesa thought, nervously making her way to them.
"Do you see the temple Magnus? " Starswirl called out to the Pegasus soldier.
"Yes, we just got to keep going southeast and we'll be there in 4 days, depending on how the terrain is. " Magnus said back as he put up his telescope and began to fly back down to the jungle floor.
" We're making good progress though not as much as I would like." Starswirl said as he looked at his sliver pocket watch and the sun.
"The jungle is a treacherous terrain Starswirl, but at least we have a few more hours before nightfall." Somnambula said smiling, trying to cheer up the wizard as she checked the sun position, seeing that it was already late afternoon.
"Alright here I go, jussst sssstart off with a wave and smile like Gusty taught me." Medesa thought as she undid her invisibility and proceeded to approach them.
Suddenly the pillars froze as their ears perked up, catching the sound of something large coming from their right.
Then, in the blink of an eye, a large creature emerged from the jungle brush, slithering in front of them.
There standing before them was the Gorgon, looking at them and sitting up like a cobra. With an unnaturally wide smile on it's face.
A expression conveying nothing but ill intent, and revealing a mouth full of razor sharp fangs.
Despite how her smile looked, Medesa tried her best to smile in a way to appear friendly. But with a snake like mouth, her smile came off more scary than friendly.
Because she was very nervous, her smile was strained, causing the slits of her cheeks that allowed her to open her mouth like a snake pulled to open.
Unfortunately this revealed more teeth in her smile than she indented too, causing her to looking menacing.
Normally these slits were hidden from sight, but her nervousness caused her to accidentally use those facial muscles.
Worst of all, the sun chose at that time, to shine through a parted spot in the clouds, right on Medesa, making her reflective eyes shine.
Seeing the Gorgon's eyes shine, Starswirl took offense action immediately at the sight, and quickly casted a spell creating a blinding flash bang.
And aimed right at the Gorgon's face, while simultaneously casting a magic barrier spell to shield
the others from the flash.
"Gahh! My eyesssssss, why would you do that, I wasss jussssst sssssssaying hello! " Medesa yelled in anger and pain, hunching over as she covered her eyes.
Unfortunately, none of the pillars understood that she was saying, since she only spoke in ancient Poneek ( Greek).
Her mane of snakes had aslo shut their eyes and coiled around her head to protect her face and hissing angrily, while her snake half reflexively coiled up defensively.
Despite being blinded Medesa had other forms of sight, her thermal and scent vision provided her extremely detailed vision of her surroundings.
She easily dodged a flying Flash Magnus charging at her and some magic bolts from Starswirl.
Medesa quickly recovered her eyesight and became invisible, and began slithering backwards into the jungle.
"It vanished, don't let it get away!" Rockhoof yelled as he dug his shovel into the ground, throwing a huge cloud of dirt into the air in an attempt to find the Gorgon.
But before Medesa could make any distance, she felt something odd, she noticed a glittering sliver mist flooding the area.
"Isss, thisss sssome kind of poissssonoussss misssst made by a sssspell? " Medesa thought, perplexed as she looked at the six ponies, noticing the elderly mare's horn was lit.
" What are they thinking, they'll hurt the environment! " Medesa thought frowning with and casted a magic dampening and detox spell to clear it the glittering mist up.
As the glittering silver mist vanished, she noticed that her body was covered in shiny silver glitter, revealing where she was.
"Wait what, thisss glittering sssstuff isss ssssticking to me, how, not even mud or tar sssstick to my body! " Medesa thought, going wide eyed with shock.
Rockhoof dug his shovel into the ground, pulling a large amount of dirt to make a shield around them, covering them from the Gorgon's line of sight.
While Somnambula and Magnus flew around Medesa, trying to keep her from directly looking at them.
This only lead to further annoyed Medesa, but then she saw Starswirl vanished in a magical flash.
"Where did that bearded pony go, and why do they keep attacking me, I'm not trying to hurt them." Medesa thought, getting more irritated by the second, avoiding a flying shield smack from Magnus.
In a bright white flash, Starswirl reappeared 12 feet on the opposite side of where Medesa was looking, but her mane of snakes spotted him instantly.
She decided to raise her arms up, trying to convey to them she was not hostile, and trying to defuse the tension.
" Pleasssse ssstop, I mean you no har-,
* Bang! *
However, she was interrupted by a blinding bright ball of light coming at her, explodingin her face.
Which was followed up by a smack to the head by something made of metal, and a large rock hitting her in the gut.
The high-speed blow to the head and the rock didn't hurt her, but the flash to her eyes defiantly did.
Even more so the second time and at close range, it was like having industrial spotlights shoved into your eyes.
"That'ssssss it, you want to fight, then that'ssss what you'll get!!! " Medesa yelled with an angry hissing roar, finely having had enough and took the offensive.
Medesa opened her mouth and the mouths of her snake mane up to a 130 degree angle, expelling a jet of dark purple mist that was quickly spreading around.
Rather than use her poison or acid breath, she breathed out paralyze gas so as not to harm them, just render them immobile.
"It's spewing poison gas, everypony regroup Somnambula, Magnus!" Starswirl called out as he teleported away some distance.
He then put up a magic barriers around the pillars and himself, blocking the fast spreading cloud of gas.
" Watch out pepper flask incoming!" Meadowbrook shouted as she threw a bright red clay bottle into the air near the Gorgon.
Hitting the ground, the clay bottle shattered, exploding with a red mist filling the air with extremely spicy pepper powder.
" We're on it! " Magnus shouted, as Somnambula and him blew away the gas and pepper powder with their combined wing flaps.
"Gahh! * cough, cough, cough* Aaahhh, my eyessss, *cough, cough* my nosssse, are thessse fire peppersss?! " Medesa said between coughs, wiping her watering eyes.
" Here, y'all take a face mask it'll offer some protection." Meadowbrook said as she reached into her saddle bag.
Pulling out some face masks made of detoxifying herbal leafs, was enchanted to filter the air.
Just as they put the masks on, Medesa had recovered and wiped the last of the tears from her now slightly bloodshot eyes.
" I've had enough of thissss!!! " Medesa yelled angrily as she charged her horn, casting dispel on the barrier, causing Starswirl's barrier to pop like a bubble.
"Spread out!" Starswirl yelled as he saw the Gorgon preparing to attack. He conjured another flash bang ball right in front of Medesa's face.
" Ahh! " Medesa yelled in pain, as she fired a massive powerful magic bolt.
It missed the pillars and hit the ground were they were just standing instead, creating a powerful shockwave.
"Ugh!" Starswirl and the other pillars groaned as they were launched into the air and hit the ground.
"Distracted it for a moment, I've going to use a magic scroll on it, be ready to pull back on my signal!" Starswirl yelled out, using his magic he pulled a scroll from his saddle bag and charged his horn.
"You've got it Starswirl, Mistmane keep up the glitter mist, Magnus with me!" Rockhoof called out to his friends.
"Alright! " Mistmane said casting the spell again, flooding the area with the glittering silver mist.
"Right behind you, Meadowbrook purple and white flask! " Magnus said as he flew high up.
" Incoming! " shouted, throwing a purple clay flask through the air.
Rockhoof scoped up huge clumps of dirt with his shovel, launching them at the Gorgon's face.
" Enough with the wretched flasks!" Medesa yelled as she blasted the incoming projectiles with magic bolts.
However the clay bottles Medesa shattered was filled with a powder, blocking the heat detection and smell.
Her thermal vision became blurred, and a sour stench filled the air, blocking her sense of smell, as the powder clouded around her.
" What did that ssssshaman put in thossse bottlesss, it sssssmellsssss ssso ssssssour." Medesa thought as she wrinkled her nose in disgust.
She then used her magic to blow away the clouds of powder, and she and her mane of snakes looked around, as they slowly flicking their longlong forked tongues.
"Magnus!" Meadowbrook shouted throwing a white clay bottle to the Pegasus.
"Got it! " Magnus said throwing the flash powder bottle near the Gorgon.
"Ahhh!" Medesa yelled in pain from being temporally blinded again, she curled her snake tail defensively around her, trying to restore her overloaded senses.
" Now! " Starswirl yelled as he readied the spell.
" I only have a few seconds till the Gorgon recovers, this scroll should be able to bypass it's magical resistance! " Starswirl thought as he finished charging the spell.
Hearing that, the other pillars quickly got out of firing range, just as Starswirl casted the spell.
" Huh? " Medesa said as she looked up after wiping away some tears, seeing Starswirl charging his horn.
" Not again! " Medesa thought, thinking that Starswirl was going to blind her again.
She coiled up and covered her eyes with her hoofs, as her mane of snakes shut there eyes and coiled around her head as well.
However this spell was different, the spell that hit Medesa bathing her in the white light, turning her to stone. With the battle finally over the pillars took a moment to catch their breath.
" That was one of the toughest fight I've ever been in." Rockhoof said as he sat down and planted his shovel in the ground beside him.
" Here y'all are, this should help some. " Meadowbrook said reaching into her saddle bag, giving each one of the pillars a herbal drink that replenished stamina.
" It's unfortunate that we couldn't communicate with it, we could have been able to resolve things differently. "Somnambula said somberly, taking a drink from her bottle.
" I doubt we could even if we tried, it was speaking a very ancient form of Poneek. I recognize the accent, but not the language itself. " Magnus said, recalling his times in Poeece ( Greece).
" Do you think you can make a translation spell that could work on it Starswirl? Hearing its side of the story could shed light on why, and if it's really responsible for the attacks. " Somnambula suggested, hopeful and optimistic as ever.
" Perhaps, but I'd need a language decipher for the language, or written records of the language translated to construct such a spell. " Starswirl said, recalling the basis of translation spells.
" But I doubt that any complete record exists, even I don't know the language it spoke, it's likely a dead form of the language."
" Besides, I doubt the creature would be or willing to converse. " Starswirl said.
" How so, if we found a way to talk to the Gorgon, surly we could reason with her." Meadowbrook insisted.
" It's a creature created by Grogar, the father of monsters, there is no reasoning with such monsters." Starswirl said, rebuking the idea .
" If you recall ponykinds first encounters with the Cyclops's, another of the creatures made by Grogar. "
" The Cyclops could speak similar languages that the ponies of that time spoke, and could understand each other."
"Yet despite this, the Cyclops's saw ponies, griffons, and other sentient races as food. Showing that they were nothing brutal, savages beasts." Starswirl said, recalling the ancient records of poines first encounters with the one eye goat like monsters.
" It also tried to use it's petrifieing gaze on us the moment it not saw us, and If given the chance, it would do so again. "
" A villain will always be a villain, and a monster will always be a monster. " Starswirl said sternly as he looked q the petrified form of the Gorgon..
The sun was already hanging low in the sky, so the pillars decided to set up camp close to a river near them.
As usual and a necessary precaution, Starswirl placed a a strong magical barrier around the campsite, using a magic gem instead of his own magic this time.
" What are we going to do with it now? " Magnus said as he sat down near the fire pit, looking at the massive statue of the Gorgon.
The new turned stone creature was so big and heavy, even more so, now that it was solid stone and coiled up.
That the Pillars had to build a large wagon cart, made from the thick tree trunks they had to enchant.
Plus the It took all their magic, and Rockhoof's strength to move it, and make any progress through the treacherous jungle terrain.
The sun was barely above the horizon when they manage to get to the river and set up camp.
" We'll have to put it in a secure location where no pony can find it." Starswirl said, taking a close up look of the petrified Gorgon.
"Where would that be Starswirl?" Rockhoof asked as he stretched his back and walked to his wizard friend.
"I have a place in mind, but it will be a challenge getting it there. For now let's rest, we have a long day head of us. " Starswirl said wryly, feeling the magic exhaustion taking its toll.
Over one thousand years later, in a cave at an unknown location.
In the dark of a small cave, in a large metal square room, layed the large petrified Gorgon, Medesa Stonescale.
Frozen in the position of covering her eyes with her arms, paws, and her mane of snakes, coiled up defensively. She was sealed in this room by Starswirl long ago, forgotten to the world.
The cave's entrance was sealed by a large metal double door with a huge light gray white circle of magical runes on it, keeping it locked.
The sturdy doors were made of 2ft thick dark charcoal metal, hidden behind an illusion of a rock wall.
However, because of Medesa's naturally high magical resistance, the spell that kept her petrified had been weakening for over a thousand years.
*Crack*
And today it finally was lifting, as large cracks started spreading across whole petrified form.
*Crack, crack, CRACK!*
A few more cracks formed and the stone crumbled away, freeing Medesa from her stone prison.
"Ugh." Groaned Medesa, taking a breath of air for the first time in over a thousand years.
Her body went limb and slumped to the door ground, as she regained consciousness, and feeling returned to her body.
After a few seconds later Medesa slowly began to move, her body had gotten stiff and sluggish from the being petrified.
" W-W-what's where am I, d-did thosssse p-poniesssss knock m-me out? " Medesa thought as she opened her eyes and stretched her mane of snakes out, feeling very groggy and very cold.
Looking around with her thermal vision, she saw she was in a large square metal room, with a magical barrier around it.
" Did they put me here, do they think they can imprissssson me after attacking me, and treat me like a mindlessssss beasssssst!!!" Medesa yelled with fury.
A fierce scowl formed on her face, feeling a surge of energy from her anger, she rose from the ground. She used her magical gaze to turn the metal doors to brittle stone and smacked them with a powerful tail strike.
However she immediately regretted it, as even colder air flooded the room.
"Ahhh, w-w-why i-isssssss the a-air ssss-ssso c-c-c-cold!? " Medesa said as she shivered even worse than before. She quickly casted several heating spells on herself, rapidly warming up her body and protecting her from the cold air.
" Why am I in the mountainsssss?" Medesa thought as she stared at a small mountain range, utterly confused by her situation.
She had slithered out of the small cave and was greeted with the sight of snow capped mountains, in the distance she could see a lush forest northeast of the mountainrange.
"I need to get out of here, ugh and find a placsssse to warm up." Medesa thought, shivering from the cold mountain air as she began to slither down the mountain.
Several hours later
In the valley near the mountains
"Ahhh, I feel a lot better after a nicssssse long ssssssun bath, but I need to find a place better sssssuited for me." Medesa thought as she stretched out her whole body.
Feeling refreshed from taking a sun bath in a meadow she found a few miles away from the mountains, she propped her head up with a hoof and looked in the distance.
" That sssssswamp and foressssst looksssss like it could be a nicssse home, hopefully I 'll find a ruin there, or I'll have to make a home from ssssscratch." Medesa said as she stood up like a cobra, and headed to her destination.
She was heading to the Everfree forest, all the while hidden from sight by her invisibility. Leaving the mountains she emerged from far behind her, humming a happy tune to herself.
